ETR ranks Cooper Kupp at 180 overall in best ball while ADP is 199, placing them 19 spots ahead of market. In best ball, Kupp has value as a consistent floor player who scores 7-8 points every game and provides usable weeks occasionally, despite lacking a huge ceiling. Last year, once Rashid Shahid was acquired, Kupp had 18% target per hour run and 16% target share, compared to Shahid's 10% target share. While offseason buzz suggests Shahid will be more featured (three-year, $51 million contract), Kupp's target per route run wasn't catastrophic last year, his yards per target jumped back up with the improved offense, and the top three receivers aren't in question. Torrey Hockenson is still recovering from shin injury, so his skillset (more redundant with Shahid) won't compete with Kupp. Kupp will likely see significant volume despite being older and having a muted ceiling. In best ball, late-round consistency has value, and Kupp's skillset and experience suggest he won't completely fall off the cliff.
