All due respect to Berry, but a 3rd round pick (Kyren) needing an injury to hit any sort of ceiling outcome is not exactly a convincing argument. Citing the two-way injury-contingent value here is valid in general, but doesn’t really check out in terms of being a good reason to draft a player as early as Kyren goes. And while the offense is great, Corum certainly caps Kyren’s upside in a pretty major way at this point (as does Kyren’s own lacking receiving role and big play ability).
