Dontayvion Wicks pushed his intermediate route beyond the linebackers and settled in the void on third-and-12, creating space behind the second level by getting vertical first. This route depth was really good; the linebackers sit around the sticks on third-and-long, so a shallow in-breaker runs directly into them and leaves the receiver short of the line to gain. Wicks' vertical-first approach created the space needed for Hurts to layer a perfect throw into the middle of the field.

In his first two games as an Eagle, Dontayvion Wicks has seven catches for 147 yards and a touchdown; he is the first player with at least 70 yards in each of his first two games as an Eagle in 18 years, since DeSean Jackson surpassed 100 yards as a rookie in 2008 (106 vs. the Rams and 110 in Dallas).
