Video: Everyone Is Messing Up The Week 5 Waiver Wire (Not You)
Damen Pierce, who used to be on the Houston Texans... Of these three guys, the one who profiles the best is the direct backup to Tank Bsby would be Damen Pierce... how surprising would it be if Damen Pierce got 13 rushes this week for the Eagles? I It would not be that surprising to me.

STACKED’s take

Positive signalRole

Eagles RB ranked second; best like-for-like Bixby backup; could see 13 rushes Week 5.

Eagles practice squad RB ranked second among three backfield options; profiles as the best like-for-like backup to Tank Bixby and direct complement to Saquon Barkley's role; had 1,000 yards in his first NFL season with Houston but struggled after the Texans switched to a zone running scheme; source prefers him for the Tank Bixby backup role in deeper leagues. Source notes it would not be surprising if Pierce received 13 rushes for the Eagles in Week 5, suggesting closer path to startability than other practice squad options.
