From the episode
Tale of two seasons for him. Red hot. The ball going through defenders hands for a long touchdown... I think Zach Robinson is probably, I would say better offensive coordinator.
STACKED’s take
Mayfield is QB18 value; best O-line in NFL, but Godwin/Buka health is key concern.
JJ Zachariason discusses Baker Mayfield's 'tale of two seasons'—red hot early with ball going through defenders' hands, Mecole Hardman escaping sacks at ridiculous rate, then banged up and crumbling. Mayfield has great seasons with Liam Cohen and Dave Canales, then off-and-on with Josh Grizzard last year. Now gets Zach Robinson as OC. Zachariason thinks Robinson is 'probably a better offensive coordinator' than Grizzard. Mayfield was still QB18 in PPG last year despite completely banged-up offensive line. Going into this year, many have Buccaneers with best offensive line in NFL. Key concern is 'what level of Chris Godwin are we getting?' since last year wasn't good, and whether Mecole Buka is a star or banged up and plateaus. Without full weaponry, Mayfield may not fully get help.
