Davis Mattek on Puka Nacua

There's a Puka Nua update, which is that according to Wrap Sheet, I would say sooner rather than later, just maybe not next week. Puka is the only first round pick not smashing. I have this laughably bad uh 350 where I lost Puka. So I started Rushy Rice and Ted Hurst. Coloulston Lovelin was my third round pick. So that's brutal. It's actually very tilting. It's very tilting that Puka is going to be missing time the same time as as Terrence Ferguson.

Only first-rounder not smashing; injury timing compounds roster issues.

Expected to return sooner rather than later but probably not next week, per Wrap Sheet. Nacua is the only first-round pick not smashing, indicating underperformance relative to expectations. Davis Mattek benched Nacua in a dynasty league matchup and describes having him on the bench as brutal, suggesting regret over the decision to sit him given his draft capital and expected role. Mattek expresses frustration that Nacua's injury absence coincides with Terrance Ferguson's injury, compounding roster problems.
