50:09give me the the elevator pitch for someone who maybe maybe someone just got rugpulled from the ability to play daily draft games or basketball games

50:29soccer side that they call football. So it gets a little confusing but anyway um so uh sport.f Fun has a fantasy football
50:37game where you buy player shares and use those in the fantasy game. And the better you perform in the fantasy game,
50:44the more shares you can accumulate and you can buy and sell the shares whenever you want. And um it's basically you make
50:53a single lineup each week, quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end in a flex that's not a quarterback that everybody's pretty familiar with. And um
51:02yeah, there's your lineup right there.
51:04Man, Warren was one that like Yeah, >> Ashton Genty not not loving I made him my captain, dude. I was all in. I felt I
51:11felt very good about I knew I I knew I wanted to use Warren and I knew I wanted to use Kelsey um with Mahomes and I felt
51:19pretty good about JSN potentially being able to outscore Chase and Bejon. But the uh the Genty Captain decision, not loving it. Not loving it.
51:30>> You [clears throat] finished better than I did. I feel like I had it was like a process over results week. So I had uh
51:37Jared Goff, Kenneth Walker, um Chase, Gadston, and Henry. And Gadson was like it's such a donkey. I can't believe I

51:52>> Um the weird thing about tight end. So anyway, uh to go back to the sort of the pitch of how this game works, basically
51:59uh there's two sides of it. One is you own shares in these players and if they finish in the top three or five in their
52:06position. So top three quarterbacks, top three tight ends or top five wide running backs and wide outs, you'll win these things called tournament points
52:14which you can turn into more player shares. And then separately you have this the lineup that we were just looking at that they call picks. Uh and
52:21you can win that way. And so uh the picks lineup is you know a basic salary cap. Uh you can kind of see there
52:29Mahomes cost 18, Warren was 13. It's a salary cap of 100. And you have to own shares of those players in order to to
52:35play them in a lineup. But like Derrick Henry, who I felt like great about, especially when they were like on the
52:42goal line and he just gets stuffed what felt like 17 times in a row. And I was like, well, that was the right play.
52:47Sure. And it's funny that I was like I was adamant about Walker this week and you went the total opposite with Mahomes
52:53and Kelsey. And I was like, oh, all right. Well, lesson learned, I guess.
52:56Well, I was wrong. I was wrong. I mean, Kelsey Kelsey was good. I just I just didn't want to do uh I actually I think
53:02the reason I did is I don't have any shares of Lamar. I think was honestly the only reason that I didn't Okay,
53:09actually, never mind. No, I do. I do.

53:17cap thing. And actually, I think that I can I think I can open a pack right now.

54:32if you get a pack with like like JSN Josh Allen and uh you know McBride like that's going to be way better than a
54:40pack of like Baker Mayfield Gadston and someone else. So like that's all it is.
54:45But if you just want to like rip then yeah plenty of people.
54:48>> Yeah. So the primary the primary mechanism is basically you buy shares of players you think are going to do well.
54:56You submit them into the the tournament of your skill division. You perform well. You get tournament points to generate packs. And if you get good
55:06packs, you win shares of good players.
55:09You you try and open the pack. It's the same thing as opening a regular pack of cards. You know, you you don't want a
55:14Baker Mayfield. you want a Lamar Jackson is exactly how it works.
55:18>> And basically the the two sides of the game. So like you own players. Oh my god, we got an upgrade right away. Well
55:24done. Um basically the more shares of a player you own, like if you own a lot of JSN, like he was the top wide receiver
55:31this week. So like the more you own, the more you win is kind of how it works.
55:36>> Correct. Uh you are looking at a fantasy sports stock market game. Honestly, that's the way that's the way I've been
55:44thinking about it. Y >> um >> similar to uh so rare except the players are not non-f fungeible tokens. They're just they're just shares.

56:45Um yes honestly they are they are in fact actually fungeible tokens there there is no there is no uh discrepancy between one or the other. Uh what uh
56:56what what division are you in Lair? Are you in like super No, there's only two divisions now. So yeah, I'm still there.
57:02I just um it Yeah, I've just had some tough uh tough picks lately.
57:09>> All right. Well, I mean, hey, one of my I would I would very much like to to win this division. This is it's one of my
57:15it's one of my very much one of my hopes um this year. It's it's very nice that u my Chiefs are good for fantasy again.
57:24Being able to do the Walker and the Mahomes and the Kelsey has been has been really uh nice. What is your um Yeah.
57:31And I assume you do get better rewards in the higher division.
57:35>> Yeah. So on the soccer side, there are like five divisions and the top one theoretically pays the most. But then
57:41for NFL right now, they were going to do five and the season is just too long because they had this like promotion and
57:45relegation thing and it's just excuse me, the season's too short and so they're just doing basically like essentially freeto play and then this
57:53gold division that increases your rewards. But yeah, the I think the idea is is that they will have like different divisions so that the higher you go, the
58:00more you'll you'll make. I do know that like the guy who finished in first um let Claude pick his lineup.

58:08>> Yeah, he had um Knicks, Gibbs, Kelsey, JSN, and Warren.

58:50feel a competitive lineup and that is not the way this works. actually like you you do have to put some money in to
58:56be able to generate but um it's not a thing where like oh uh I barely played Rain Maker so I don't really remember
59:04but you you like oh I I want to get a Tyreek Hill and you have to spend a lot of money to get the Tyreek Hill NFT to
59:11put it into your lineup. That is not the way this works at all. like the the shares of like here if I want to go get a share of
59:20Jir Gibbs um one share of Jir Gibbs costs 01 cents or 10 million available um but yeah like
59:31the way the way it works is like the the cost the the barrier for entry is actually quite low.
59:37>> Yeah, for sure. And the upside in terms of winning is really high because like I was saying so basically the way it works
59:42is let's say for wide receivers if your wide receiver that you own shares of finishes as one of the top five of the
59:49week and yeah if you go to live scores you can see like who they are. It also uses DraftKing scoring. So like if you
59:54know DraftKings scoring you're fine but like those are the top five right there.
59:58And if you notice and this is why I was bringing this up earlier with Puka. So they don't have every player in the NFL.
60:04They have like just a certain number.
60:06It's 12 quarterbacks, 24 wide receivers, running backs, and then 12 tight ends.
60:10And so they have something called injury cover where if you own shares of a player and he's been ruled out, you get
60:17like the next best guy. So if you own shares of Puka, you actually get Devonte Adams. Um, and it doesn't happen it
60:24doesn't happen with everyone because it's a it gets a little wonky when they had guys that got traded and stuff like
60:29that. Um, so you don't necess So like if you if you own CD Lamb, you get George Pickkins, but if you like if CD Lamb is
60:37out, but if you um who was the example I was trying to think of now that I started this whole thing. Um,
60:47>> well, no, because Pickkins isn't in it.
60:48So like you would get his stats.
60:50>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
60:51>> Um, but like if trying to think of who got traded Well, you have to go all the way to the bottom, I guess. Um

64:10it's not like I've did rain makers. It's not like rain makers. It's it's it's um the closer comparison would be so rare
64:19except for there is no token. And it does it doesn't it is not one to one to so rare at all, but that's just the only
64:27um relative comparison. Um, >> yeah, the way that I've kind of just that I've described it is like you the player shares are like the game pieces
64:34and like that's you buy the player shares and that's what you get to use while playing the fantasy game. And um
64:40yeah, so it's a fairly new site. Like I said, the NFL game launched like last October, November, something like that.
64:46And uh the soccer one launched a year ago in July. And so it's it's a new site. Like I get people who were like,
64:54I'm just going to wait until it becomes like a little more stable thing. They did just hire two guys that were
64:59underdog uh kind of to lead their Dan's one of them to like lead the NFL stuff.
65:03So I think it's one of these things that like a player market share or excuse me a player like stock market game is like
65:10very interesting to a lot of people and it really hasn't been figured out and so they're trying to figure this out like
65:17while but and the fantasy game is kind of the center of of it all.
65:22>> Yeah. Like I mean to be totally transparent, I get approached for partnerships all the time from all kinds of different places. Some of them are
65:31like immediate no like I don't even respond to the email. Some of them I take a call and I'm like okay this is
65:37kind of interesting whatever. I mean, just the like it's the same reason why I will basically try any fantasy game kind
65:44of once because I think it's a really interesting idea and and it's actually I think they clearly have the right idea which is
65:52like the stock market style game works so much better for soccer because there's so many games, there's so many players, there's so many leagues like
65:59football is definitely a trickier integration. Um, and particularly because the way football scoring is, it's very stratified. there are like 10
66:07players who score so many points. Yep.
66:10>> Um whereas in like soccer you've like I don't know man if you can take guys from the divisi they're those guys are outsc
66:15scoring Mbappe you know you have you have central midfielders uh who play for Ajax who are outscoring Mbappe and like allaround scoring or whatever. Um so
66:23it's uh it's a little bit it's a little bit different. Um I I mean integrating college football I have no idea how that
66:29works in in this day and age or like anything but it is it is kind of it is kind of that is kind of interesting. I
66:34had thought about that. it. Uh, so yeah, PSU fans too and I talk about it a lot and it's like that it seems like such an
66:41easy thing to do at some point of like buy the shares when the guy's in college and then when he gets into the NFL like
66:46get you get to keep those shares. So the other thing is like when you buy these shares, >> you own them for as long as you want to
66:52own them. So it's not like you have to buy more shares every season or whatever. Like it just kind of keeps
66:56going. And so there's um there's, you know, that whole like web three ownership thing of it.
