STACKED’s take
Top waiverwire pickup; source will overbid in dynasty despite caution.
Davis Mattek identifies Ollie Gordon as a top waiverwire pickup of the week. When asked how much FAAB to drop on Gordon, the source says 'not there yet,' indicating caution but still viewing him as a priority pickup. The source has consistently liked Ollie Gordon from college through the prospect stage and states he will probably be bidding more than is reasonable on him across the board in his guillotine dynasty home league, indicating strong conviction in his value. When asked whether he'd start Ollie Gordon over Dobbins or Gainwell, the source says probably over Dobbins, indicating Gordon has a more favorable role or usage outlook than Dobbins. The source also considers Gordon a fine pickup in redraft formats, suggesting he offers reasonable value as a mid-to-late round option.
