Amon-Ra St. Brown

NegativeValue41:02

Selected in a 400K contest lineup as part of a Detroit team-stacking strategy; included alongside Goff, Gibbs, and other Lions to maximize correlation and projection, though no specific performance or pricing commentary was provided.

Insight page

Ashton Jeanty

PositiveUsage28:28

Receiving top-five NFL running back usage in Week 3 and came in at 20% ownership. Davis Mattek expressed genuine enthusiasm for Jeanty this week, indicating the usage warranted a play despite moderate ownership. Jeanty was selected in tournament red zone lineup at 19.1% salary instead of Jaylen Warren and was part of a winning tournament lineup as a secondary running back.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

NegativeUsage38:46

CeeDee Lamb's usage was described as 'completely off the rails' in Week 3, with poor efficiency across three consecutive weeks. He had really good efficiency in Week 1 but failed to score touchdowns, followed by poor efficiency in Weeks 2 and 3. This usage volatility and lack of touchdown upside made him a fade despite his volume.

Insight page

Charlie Kolar

NegativeDepth Chart20:00

Kolar beat out Rondale Moore and other tight end competition during Browns training camp, establishing himself ahead of Moore on the depth chart. Moore could not beat out Kolar for playing time throughout the preseason, making Moore's selection as a cash game play questionable given Kolar's established depth chart position.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeValue18:39

McCaffrey is assumed to be the primary alternative for cash game lineups that did not play David Gibbs at Week 3, given Gibbs' low ownership (67% in $25 double-ups). The speaker speculates that teams avoiding Gibbs likely pivoted to McCaffrey as the elite running back alternative.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeBust4:55

Mattek played Chuba Hubbard over Jaylen Warren in Week 3 without re-running optimal lineups, assuming Hubbard would project higher—a significant mistake as Warren vastly outperformed and had a full workload with Rico Dowdle out. Mattek called it 'straight up lost my mind' and acknowledged there was 'no defense for this.' Hubbard was overpriced relative to Warren in cash games, with players paying $400 more for Hubbard despite marginal production differences. However, in a 400K contest lineup, Hubbard achieved 221% Sim ROI with 5% top 1% finish rate alongside Warren, demonstrating exceptional performance relative to salary and projection expectations in a running back-heavy build.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveUsage2:09

Schultz scored only 6 points despite being a relatively inexpensive DFS option in a game where the Chargers trailed Buffalo and were expected to throw heavily. He ran only 22 routes and received a 12–13% target share, resulting in unexpectedly low usage that contradicted the game script expectation of high pass volume. Mattek expected 20% target share and 20% targets per route run with Nico out, but Schultz received bottom-percentile usage (bottom 20%) despite being a higher-priced play. He got less usage than Darnell Washington, Mike Gesicki, T.J., Michael Mayer, and Gunner Helm. Mattek characterizes Schultz as a 'Ponzi scheme' where repeated plays yield predictable poor results; the extreme underutilization was described as 'not normal' for his typical role. In cash games, Schultz lost the tight end decision to T.J. Hockenson.

Insight page

Darnell Washington

NegativeUsage27:54

Mentioned in comparison context; received more usage than Dalton Schultz in Week 3, indicating Schultz's underutilization relative to other tight ends.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeRole35:51

David Montgomery (Gibbs) was part of a Lions stack construction in a winning Week 3 tournament lineup alongside Jared Goff and Jameson Williams, serving as the primary running back in the stack.

Insight page

David Njoku

NegativeDepth Chart24:56

Njoku is part of the Browns tight end depth chart context, mentioned alongside Charlie Kolar as part of the roster composition at the position. He took a job from another tight end, indicating roster movement at tight end.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveProjection1:06

Wilson was a must-play wide receiver for Week 3; Mattek states 'if you didn't play Garrett Wilson, you need to find a new hobby,' indicating he was a clear-cut elite option with strong performance that should have been in all lineups. Wilson was part of the chalk optimal lineup at wide receiver alongside Rashod Bateman and Parker Washington, reflecting extreme ownership concentration. He had 76% ownership in the week's contests, making him a necessary but not differentiating play for cashing lineups.

Insight page

Gunnar Helm

NegativeUsage27:54

Mentioned in comparison context; received more usage than Dalton Schultz in Week 3, indicating Schultz's underutilization relative to other tight ends.

Insight page

Isaiah Williams

PositiveBust5:05

Williams was swapped in for Rashod Bateman at 10:40 after Flowers injury news broke, becoming the preferred WR play once Flowers was confirmed to play 20–30 snaps. Mattek pivoted to Williams as a last-minute lineup adjustment; Williams was played as WR3 and was part of a winning lineup construction. Mattek initially stated 'I honestly think the Isaiah Williams over Valey thing cost cost included was sharp,' defending it as a correct play. However, Williams severely underperformed: he caught 1 of 3 targets on 42 routes run (7% target share, 7% targets per route run). Despite correlation with Geno Smith's 321 passing yards, Williams failed to produce. Mattek later conceded it was a bad play, stating 'I would not have played Isaiah Williams in that lineup' in a Mahomes lineup context. He was called out as 'the worst play of all time' by another speaker whose lineup otherwise made money in Week 3 tournaments. Mattek defended the play citing 42 routes run (among the highest on the slate), arguing the play was only bad because Jeremy Ruckert scored instead, but the consensus view is that Williams was a poor ownership decision at 13% chalk with limited target upside.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeBust35:04

Jameson Williams was the worst type of DFS play in Week 3: 'slappy chalk' with poor projection and high ownership (13%). Davis Mattek stated 'when Jameson Williams projects not good, which he definitely did not project good, and he is 13% owned, that is as bad as it gets.' Pre-lock ownership was significantly lower at 6.3–10%, suggesting a late-week ownership spike. Despite the poor projection, Williams played in a winning lineup. Mattek later expressed regret about the selection, saying 'I didn't like Jameson at ownership, either. So, I probably yeah, if I could have those two pieces back and do something different, I wish I would have.'

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveValue35:51

Jared Goff was chosen over Geno Smith for a Lions stack in a winning Week 3 tournament lineup, primarily because of Goff's perceived upside. Davis Mattek noted Goff's dome performance tendency: 'Goff in the dome, like the guy throws for 300 always.' Mattek preferred being on Goff's side of the matchup rather than Geno's, though acknowledged it may have been a suboptimal choice in hindsight. The Lions stack also included David Montgomery (Gibbs) and Jameson Williams.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveProjection4:55

Warren projected for exceptional value in Week 3 with Rico Dowdle out, giving him a full workload for the first time in his career. This was the only time Jaylen Warren had a full workload in his entire career, yet he had shown efficiency time and time again in limited usage historically and finally had 'the reins pulled off' him. Warren was projected extremely high all week and was a decision point vs. Chuba Hubbard at RB3. He nearly scored an additional touchdown but was 'turf monstered' walking into the end zone, which would have made his performance even more dominant on a 123x pick'em parlay. Mattek looked at all ownership and determined he was 'probably behind enough Jaylen Warren teams' that he needed to pivot away from Tyler Shuck, indicating Warren was the sharper play from an ownership-adjusted perspective. Warren offered better value than Hubbard in cash games, with players paying $400 more for Hubbard despite similar production profiles. In a 400K contest lineup, Warren achieved 221% Sim ROI with 5% top 1% finish rate.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeValue8:55

Kenneth Walker was considered as a fade option in Week 3 lineup construction, with Davis Mattek contemplating fading him in favor of playing Jaylen Warren instead, though this alternative lineup was ultimately not executed.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeProjection1:06

Murray is not a viable QB play and has lost the athleticism that differentiated him; he had only ~20 rushing yards and was outrushed by Tyler Shuck. Davis Mattek explicitly states 'Kyler is not good at football' and was unwilling to compromise the lineup to play Murray over Shuck despite similar projections. Murray projected for 16.4 points vs. Shuck's 19.4 points—a 3-point gap larger than Mattek initially realized when he swapped Shuck for Kyler in his lineup solely for clean sweep equity purposes, a decision he later regretted.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

NegativeUsage27:54

Mentioned in comparison context; received more usage than Dalton Schultz in Week 3, indicating Schultz's underutilization relative to other tight ends. Scored a touchdown in Week 3 from the four-yard line; part of Washington's efficient red-zone passing game that also featured Cody White and Bowers scoring, indicating strong target opportunity in the passing game.

Insight page

Mike Gesicki

NegativeUsage27:54

Mentioned in comparison context; received more usage than Dalton Schultz in Week 3, indicating Schultz's underutilization relative to other tight ends.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveProjection7:28

Parker Washington was a must-play wide receiver for Week 3; Davis Mattek stated that 'if you didn't play Parker Washington, you got to find a new hobby,' indicating he was a clear-cut elite option with strong performance that should have been in all lineups. However, later analysis revealed Washington was marginal chalk with 12% ownership despite only 3 targets on 42 routes; his projection was good but not great, making him overowned relative to his optimal probability and a poor DFS value.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

NegativeInjury5:05

Bateman was in optimal lineups at 10:00–10:30 Central Time before Flowers injury news broke. At 10:40, Mattek pivoted to Isaiah Williams after learning Flowers would play 20–30 snaps, indicating Bateman's value was contingent on Flowers' status. Bateman became unavailable, forcing the swap to Williams as the WR3 option.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

NegativeRole5:39

Rico Dowdle's absence in Week 3 created a full workload opportunity for Jaylen Warren, marking the first time in Warren's career that both Dowdle and Najee Harris were unavailable simultaneously, enabling Warren to receive the full complement of carries and touches.

Insight page

Rondale Moore

NegativeBust19:25

Rondale Moore (referred to as 'Rondale Gadsden' in the transcript) was criticized as a crazy/poor play choice. The speaker expresses disbelief at the decision to play him, noting he could not beat out Charlie Kolar on the Browns depth chart during training camp and was legitimately behind Kolar on the roster.

Insight page

Tyler Lockett

PositiveProjection15:19

Tyler Lockett had a projection of 16 points and was part of a swap decision where the speaker regretted moving away from him to Kyler Murray. The speaker notes that if Kyler scored 17 and Lockett scored 16, the clean sweep would have been a winning outcome across contests.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveInjury20:50

Zay Flowers was confirmed to be healthy and likely to play in warm-ups during Sunday morning lineup construction, making him available for DFS consideration.

0:00made an absolute disaster of a decision.
0:04I mean, frankly, Nathaniel, for as long as we've been playing cash games, this might have been the worst swap I've ever
0:09made in the history of time. We will we will get to that. And the reason we will get to that is because
0:17is this the the most chalk, the most dupes there's ever been in a slate of cash games under DraftKings? I was
0:24looking through ownerships and I think the amount of total variation of players played it it is the closest it's ever been. Like there were at every position,
0:36like at quarterback, there were two guys who were owned. At running back, there were four guys who were owned. At wide
0:41receiver, there were like five guys. I mean, this was the most preposterous chalk anomaly I've ever I've ever seen. I couldn't I actually I couldn't believe
0:53it. The The projections were very good, but no one IKB'd. There was no IKB'ing.
1:00>> Yeah, it was it was a it was a chalky slate, for sure.
1:04>> Yeah, it it was completely unbelievable.
1:06So basically at quarterback, if you were using projections, you either slotted in Kyler Murray or Tyler Shuck. And then when the cuz
1:17the the thing that changed lineups was we got news early that Flowers was going to play. This is really interesting because
1:25optimal lineups at, you know, whatever 10:00 Central Time, 10:30, had Rashod Bateman in them. Would have been really interesting to run back
1:34time knowing that we didn't know Flowers was going to play or not, that it was a that it was a legit question because
1:41there was a tweet that came out about 11 that said, um what was it? It was like Flowers gave the trainers a thumbs up or something
1:48and then Shefter said he's going to play 20-30 snaps cuz the optimal lineup when I ran it this morning was Shuck, Gibbs, Walker, Jaylen Warren. The
1:59receivers were Bateman, Garrett Wilson, and P-Wash with Titans D. Was that it?
2:09Oh, but no, but at tight end it was T.J.
2:12Hockenson instead of Dalton Schultz. It was T- That's what it was. Which Which by the way ended up not being a big deal
2:19because [ __ ] Dalton Schultz, am I right?
2:22>> The Dalton Schultz thing was still thing. We got a little bit of the variance there, but that was that was
2:26brutal.
2:28>> [snorts] >> That was brutal.
2:29>> But I mean, I don't ever remember there being 70% owned quarterback without a secondary chalk quarterback. Like people weren't playing Lamar. People didn't
2:41play Mahomes. People didn't even play Purdy. Purdy was the one who I wanted to play at quarterback. That was the one
2:46where I was like, Purdy just feels like an absolute gem at quarterback. But I mean, were you guys just shocked the
2:51whole time?
2:53>> I was. I thought Shock was the was the best. I mean, I looked at some Kyler teams, but I just
2:59I don't know. I didn't feel like salary-wise it was worth it was worth it.
3:04>> You got to understand about Kyler Murray that he's not good.
3:07And once you understand that Kyler is not good at football and he's lost that little bit of athleticism that made him different,
3:15you don't have to play him.
3:16Like it's great to say, "Oh yeah, he's got Justin Jefferson. Oh, you know, everything is going to >> didn't He didn't
3:21>> No, dude.
3:22>> He didn't have Justin Jefferson. That was Justin Jefferson played one drive today.
3:26>> Yeah. And and how much and how much running did Kyler Murray do?
3:30>> He had like 20 rushing yards or something. I mean, he got outrushed by Tyler Shock.
3:34>> Yeah. He dude, he doesn't want any of that smoke. It's over for Kyler Murray.
3:38Like he's passable, but like man, to I know they projected similarly, but when you get Tyler Shock who's like this generation's Blake Bortles
3:48in the dome in a in a shootout game like I I I just I did not want to play Kyler Murray and
3:54I wasn't willing to I thought it was far enough away where I wasn't willing to compromise the lineup to to to to put in Murray over Shuck. Like I
4:05just wouldn't do it.
4:06>> And then running back, so I got to say I made a mistake and okay, a running back obviously Walker and Gibbs you had to
4:14play non-negotiable. They should have been 100% owned. Frankly, they weren't even owned enough to me in GBPs. Like Jamir Gibbs in some of the tournaments
4:23was like 35%.
4:25It it was >> Jamir Gibbs was free money in tournaments. He was 31% in in in the 555. I was like
4:33what is happening? I Yeah. Or no, he was 38% in the in the Million Maker there.
4:38>> Fancy fancy play syndrome. Look, there's places to to differentiate in tournaments. You absolutely should do it, but when somebody is this big of a value and this
4:48big of a smash, find them another spot.
4:51Like the playing not having him in your tournament lineups was a big miss.
4:55>> Yeah, completely completely agree. So those two were the locks. Then you had to decide between Jaylen Warren and Chuba Hubbard. And frankly, I just got
5:03to I got to hold my hand up here.
5:05Um I played bad, dude. I I I was I'm doing my show, whatever. I'm like trying to do my life and I message
5:12Wiggins this morning and I realize uh I at 10:40 I say what about doing Isaiah Williams instead of Bateman. And he
5:22goes, yeah, that's fine. Shol Tubberd.
5:24And I'm like, okay, bang. Whatever that fits. And I guess I just assumed I never re-ran optimals or anything. I just assumed Hubbard projected for more
5:32than Jaylen Warren. I don't know I don't know why I would have assumed that. Um because Jaylen Warren projected for a
5:39billion all week when Rico Dowdle was not in. Now, you could argue it one of two ways.
5:47Jaylen Warren should have mega nuked even more because he tripped on his way in the end zone. I actually have a
5:53disgusting thing to show you guys. Uh, we fired a pick'em um on the the ship chasing show today, a 123x. Look at this.
6:05Tee Higgins touchdown, Travis Kelce touchdown, Bijan Robinson touchdown, Jaylen Warren gets turf monstered walking into the end zone on a 123x.
6:16Uh, so that would have been that would have recouped my losses uh, on on the main slate there. So, that was a
6:23bit tough. Frankly, I have no I have no um, defense for this. This was just I straight up I straight like lost my mind
6:32playing Chuba Hubbard over Jaylen Warren.
6:34>> Dude, I was shocked. I was shocked. The main train had it was 501 dupes in the $25.
6:41>> I was not alone. They all also lost their mind.
6:44>> I know. So, I don't understand. The entire field it was it was it was one site that I >> It It had It had to have It had to have
6:51just been the ETR cash game Discord team. That had to have been it.
6:55>> I think that's what it was. I mean, it was >> That That had to have been it because it's bad Not that Not that Hubbard is
7:01like some dog [ __ ] play, but Jaylen Warren was just a better play. I think just very clearly a better play without
7:07Rico Dowdle.
7:08>> this is this is the only time Jaylen Warren in his entire career has had like full workload like this and yet he has
7:14shown efficiency time and time again in limited usage and now he finally has the reins pulled off of him and everybody's
7:21like, "Nah."
7:22>> No, it's like it's like actually insane.
7:25>> No, Jacob and I went and looked back. It is literally the first time it's ever been Gainwell out or Najee out. Ever.
7:32Ever. Whole career. First time.
7:35That insane?
7:36That's completely completely insane.
7:38>> And honestly, Warren should have had more. Warren should have had more. That that. that you're talking about where he was turf monstered. I mean, it was there
7:44was nobody he was he could have walked.
7:46He could have walked into the end zone.
7:48>> And then wide receiver was literally it was like if you didn't play if you didn't play Garrett Wilson, you need to find a new hobby. And if you
7:56didn't play Parker Washington, you got to find a new hobby. Like you got to you got to start over. You got to go you got
8:02to go to square one. There's there was a little bit of artistry to who to play at wide receiver three. I ended up with
8:08Isaiah Williams as the wide receiver three.
8:13Looks like Sammy played Davante Parker and Nate also played Isaiah Williams.
8:20Now, we're going to we're going to get into what Sammy did to get to Davante Parker.
8:26But yeah, like I guess Nate, how did you think through what to do with the third wide receiver once it became clear we
8:31couldn't play Bateman?
8:34>> Well, I almost did I mean, I really wanted to play Bateman and Andrews. I really was hoping Flowers news was going
8:40to come cuz all night it looked like Flowers wasn't going to play. Like I built last night most of my lineups
8:47and I was thinking I was I was Flowers out until like 11:00 this afternoon or this morning I was Flowers out and so
8:55I almost did something where I was going to fade Kenneth Walker and play Warren and and >> You did you did almost do that. I'm so
9:02I'm so [ __ ] upset. I'm so [ __ ] upset. Yet again, Nate gets bailed out and he's going to do something
9:12astronomically stupid, gargantually stupid. He's going to play two tight ends on this slate.
9:19I mean, just like >> would have been like like I was dumb for playing Hubbard over Warren, but playing like [ __ ] Mark Andrews over Jalen
9:27Warren really would have been a true all-timer, man. It really would have been.
9:31>> Look, I I got to I got to set the stage for you guys.
9:35I have not looked at anything pretty much all day. My wife's out of town on a work trip. I have two kids by myself.
9:41Set up a play date or by the pool. Got these other people over. I'm grilling for everybody. Dude, I'm sweating uh
9:48NFBC main event last day. Uh PS, we lost. I'm tilted. Like my energy is so bad.
9:54But I had I didn't look at DraftKings at all.
9:57And I was still under the impression that Nate had gone two tight ends. And so I'm looking forward to this all day.
10:03I'm like, "Well, at least we get to dunk on Nate."
10:06And then I jump onto the podcast. You guys let me in and I pull up the teams and I see that Nate
10:11has been bailed out and puts in an actual good lineup and beats us yet again. I think Nate is three for three
10:21to start off the season in the Gilcast three-man. I mean, things could not be going any [ __ ] worse for me.
10:29There you have it.
10:29>> Well, I mean, I I we're going to get into it, but I decided to give Nate the win because I
10:39>> I know. I had the win regardless. Even if you played Shuck. I I had you because you did you were stupid with Hubbard.
10:44>> All right. We'll we'll get in we'll get into this swap. So let's get in.
10:47>> I I I gave him the win because I did something incredibly stupid that we will >> We will >> Oh, yeah. That we will get into. Let's
10:54>> Listen, I just I just played better than you guys at all positions. There was not one position that I was like I I had
11:01like Shuck over Kyler. I'll take that.
11:03>> Yeah, yeah. You played >> you played Warren over Hubbard.
11:06And honestly, I honestly think the Isaiah Williams over Valey thing cost cost included was sharp.
11:13>> Yeah, that's that's obvious. So I looked at all the lineups and I looked at >> I looked at I looked at all the
11:19ownership and everything and I said I'm probably behind enough Jaylen Warren teams that I need to get off Tyler Shuck. Now, ultimately, I think this
11:29ended up being wrong because I would have scraped back more money if I would have just kept Tyler Shuck in. My lineup
11:36My lineup with Tyler Shuck Um I think if you look at the giant $50 double up, cuz what's this 164 team? So this 164 team
11:46is my team with Tyler Shuck.
11:48But I think there's >> in the whole >> But I was going to say there's so many of them that I don't even think this 164
11:54team Or Okay, this 164 team just barely does cash. Yeah. So I swapped from Shuck to Kyler just for the just for the the
12:04clean sweep equity, basically, is what I did. And >> by the way, Davis, can you read off the scores for people um who are like
12:13listening, not watching on YouTube?
12:15>> All right. Nate N with 171.9.
12:18Shuck, Gibbs, Walker, Garrett Wilson, Parker Washington, Isaiah Williams, Dalton Schultz, Jaylen Warren, and the Titans defense. Whirling Dervish, Shuck, Gibbs, Walker, Valay, Garrett Wilson,
12:29Parker Washington, Arondae Gadston the second, Jaylen Warren, and the Titans defense. And I played Nate's team, but I Or I No, sorry, I didn't. I I did Kyler,
12:39Gibbs, Walker, Garrett Wilson, P. Wash, Williams, Schultz. I did Hubbard over Warren and the Titans defense. And then
12:45I swapped for uh I I swapped Shuck for Kyler. Basically basically for the clean sweep equity. Um
12:56>> Now Now, Davis, let me ask you this.
12:58When you're doing the swap, are you universal swapping, or are you only doing it in 50/50s and double ups?
13:05>> Universal.
13:07>> Okay, because I maintain that in a situation like this, you can go for it and do it all in all
13:14the double ups and big field stuff, but when it comes to head-to-head, unless you're going through individual ones, do you just keep your best lineup
13:22and uh you know, and and and scrape back.
13:25You know what I mean? There is a a binary line in the in the 50/50s and double-ups.
13:32But in head-to-heads, if you have a 70th percentile outcome, you win 70%. If you have a 30th, you get 30.
13:38I don't think it's I don't think it's proper unless you're like looking at individual contests and you play too many to do that. But if you do, you can
13:45go through your big money ones and say, "Okay, I should swap here. I shouldn't swap here. This and that." But when I'm
13:50swapping, I think if I don't have time to go through them individually, just do all the 50/50s and leave your cat leave
13:56your head-to-heads alone. Like I I just think it's better. Nate, give me your take on that.
14:00>> I mean, realistically, the answer is is you just like Levitan talks about this all the time, but they're just such aliens out there
14:08playing stuff you can't even imagine that you like you probably just never swap.
14:13>> What in head-to-head?
14:15There's going to be enough sharp money in the in the big fields >> And and frankly, actually, if you look at the if you look at the ownerships of
14:22my team and of the big train in general, so Gibbs was only 74%. Garrett Wilson was only 76%.
14:30Um the Titans defense was 79%. So that gives you an idea that basically there is probably like 10% of the teams with Gibbs you assume
14:41are dead, 10% of the Garrett Wilson teams are dead, and then you're like, "So I'm really only needing to beat because I have Gibbs. So Gibbs is like
14:49you're automatically in the cashing range, right? Anyone who didn't play Gibbs is stone dead. So you've already eliminated 25% of the field. Then you
14:56really only need to beat 25% of the field uh that has the Gibbs teams, and you assume Gibbs and Wilson are not one-to-one
15:05owned. So you're probably beating some percent. I really just shouldn't I really just should not have swapped. It was a pretty bad swap. Although
15:12obviously the thing is is I love the clean sweep cuz it's so nice because obviously if Kyler So if let's say Kyler
15:19gets 17 and Tyler Lockett's 16, I literally would I you know I you win every contest you enter, more or less.
15:25Which does just feel really nice.
15:29And their projections were the projections were not far apart, right?
15:34Tyler Shuck for 19.4 Kyler for Okay, okay, that's more of a Honestly, it's more of a gap than I realized. 16.4. That's actually way more
15:44of a gap than I probably >> Oh, you took it in the shorts, Bubba.
15:47>> I Yeah, okay. Honestly if I had if I had looked at that a little bit closer, I probably would not
15:53have done it.
15:54>> [laughter] >> I should I just I honestly just assumed I assumed they were both like >> This is classic.
16:02>> I assumed they were both like >> we're on like >> It was the heat of the moment. It was the heat of the moment. It was the It
16:07was the heat of the moment.
16:08>> We're on year 11 of the Davis Maddock premature swapped. I mean, you know, Davis has done like three queen swaps in
16:15all these years where he just made all the money cuz of the swap and you're like It's like the one golf shot you
16:20hit. You you you you stick one like 3 ft from the green from 175 out and you're like, "Dude, I love golf." and it just
16:27like keeps you coming back for like ages. That's what's happened to you with these swaps, man. You need to You need
16:33to step away. Step away.
16:37>> Yeah, I mean, also like again, at the end of the day, like it's not like I could lose 15 weeks in a row
16:43in cash and it's not going to like change the reality of my life cuz I just don't play for life-changing money in
16:48cash cuz I don't think the edge is that big, right? I mean, these world like the the cash game streets are so tough. Like
16:55I over over time, I play less of my overall dollars in play in a weekend in cash games because they're hard. Everyone's pretty good.
17:06>> there's still an edge. I mean, you got guys paying $400 more for Chuba Hubbard over Jaylen Warren.
17:11>> [laughter] >> Like there's there's still an edge.
17:16>> It's more It's more just like Yeah, but even that even that is like very marginal.
17:22Like if like to know like okay, I'm going to get a thousand dollars in play in my whole day comes down to the
17:29difference between Jaylen Waddle and Chuba Hubbard.
17:32Like you sure if you get to run that infinity times, sure. But people used to be really bad at this. People used to be
17:40really really bad. They used to just be like you had access to good projections and you just weren't a fish, you were
17:46pretty good to go. And by the way, I mean this is still week three like imagine what the Pions are going to be
17:50like in week 11 when we're doing this, brother.
17:55Like we I remember I remember last year some of the trains getting ridiculous.
17:59Like there was there was some there was one week last year where the train was so big that the median result in the $50
18:08double up um was like you you you won, but you lost money.
18:14>> Yeah, you saw >> So many there were so many teams that had chopped in the $50 double up.
18:18>> Yeah, I mean week three the fact that we're getting Gibbs under 75% owned in cash games is still >> Yeah, like that like that that won't
18:27happen um in week 11 or whatever. But I mean >> I need to do a deep dive and figure out what did teams do that didn't play
18:34Gibbs? Cuz Gibbs was only 67% owned in the $25 double up.
18:39Craziness.
18:40>> Like >> What were people doing?
18:43>> Um >> 63% owned in the $25 double >> off, son.
18:47>> I assume those teams are playing McCaffrey.
18:52Right? I mean that has to be it.
18:54>> no idea that I'm genuinely confused. I don't know what you would do with the money.
18:59>> Um Yeah, I don't >> Play a good wide receiver three? I Pay up at tight end?
19:06>> Ryan Flournoy got owned. This looks like a huge train wreck.
19:10>> wins.
19:12Flournoy >> Flournoy was the other wide receiver that like the other punt receiver. So you had Valdes-Scantling, you had Williams, you had when Bateman was ruled
19:19out, I think a lot of people went to Flournoy. Um I saw some people go to Boston um for Cleveland, which I thought
19:25was actually kind of sharp, but yeah.
19:27>> Could have been Could have been people playing Josh Allen. Could have been Could Could have definitely been people playing Josh Allen.
19:34That's That's uh that's one possibility.
19:37All right, look. I mean, I'm going to eat the [ __ ] I was a big idiot for doing Hubbard over Warren, and I also
19:43really really really really really should not have swapped. But can we please talk about whirling dervish playing a Rondale Gadsden brother? Come
19:51on. Come on, man.
19:53>> Come on, man. I told you don't do this.
19:57>> Rondale Gadsden is crazy.
20:00>> Was it just fancy play? Like I mean, literally this guy legitimately could not beat out Charlie Kolar in cash in in
20:06in like all training camp. He's He's like He's literally behind Charlie Kolar and the dusty old uh
20:16uh Browns uh >> What's David Njoku?
20:20>> Yeah, Njoku. I mean, and you're like, I got to do it. I got to do it. What What was What was the thought process there?
20:26Obviously, Schultz didn't do it this week, but still, what was the thought process?
20:32>> Okay. So here's what happened.
20:36Taking care of these goddamn kids.
20:38I take them I take them to uh Sunday school, right? I'm driving at 9:30. This is Pacific time.
20:44So I get them there at 9:50, get them inside at 9:55 to you know, do their thing with their grandma. I get back to
20:50the car, and I look at my lineups, and I see that Zay Flowers is indeed uh looking good in warm-ups, and
20:57probably going to play. So what I had was Bateman at wide receiver three, Hockenson at 3,200 at tight end, which I
21:05didn't love. I did not love Hockenson.
21:08Hockenson sucks. Super low upside.
21:10Didn't feel great about the play, but I was very happy with every other element of the lineup to the point where I'm
21:15like, "Yeah, I can eat a dick at tight end. It's fine."
21:18I would much rather have a $3,500 Gadson or Shaheed. So, it's 9:55, 9:56. I'm like, "Oh, [ __ ] I have
21:27have to I have to do something here."
21:29Um and so, I say, "Okay."
21:33I had already worked out that Valdes-Scantling was going to be my swap at wide receiver three. I was just going to put him right in. Uh
21:39Valdes-Scantling has been playing quite well.
21:42Nate, I'm sure you have the Whopper numbers up, uh but he has been getting, I don't know, like seven, nine targets
21:47the first couple games in the dome, good environment uh in a in a non-defensive game where I thought a lot of points would be scored. I wanted to
21:55get If you're going to punt at wide receiver three, you kind of want them in a good game environment. I thought that
22:00Valdes-Scantling did that. And then that got me the extra 300 to pay up at tight end, and it was between Shaheed and
22:05Gadson.
22:07And I chose poorly.
22:12I'm taking the L here. And And the big issue you know, in my mind, I'm like, "Okay, Gadson projects a little bit better, at least
22:21through the stuff I was looking at, but you know, uh Metchie is dust. Um really hasn't You know, we're not sure about his health.
22:29Quentin Johnston's been awful.
22:31The tight end room there is, you know, really decimated. Uh they're going to need offense to hang with Buffalo.
22:38They'll probably be behind and throwing a lot. I like this opportunity for Gadson. I think Shaheed's probably better, but, you know, Gadson's shown
22:46this awesome ceiling that we saw for like a month and a half last year. And I didn't want to jet in my lineup. I was
22:53already playing Garrett Wilson, and I'm like, "Well, you know, better not mess around with Shaheed." Um and it's just a fat L because at the end
23:01of the day Kylen Granson is like a all world athlete, actual good player, and Irv Cansin the second is not. In fact, I
23:12hope that there is never an Irv Cansin the third. The bloodline should stop here. This [ __ ] guy got zero points.
23:20Zero points, straight up goose egg for 3,500 and it's not his fault.
23:25It's my fault. I'm taking the L. I could have had Kylen Granson's 27. He scored like 27 points. What did he score? Like
23:32so many points.
23:33And >> 26.5 >> 26.5 and I said no thanks, I'm good. I'm going to take the zero. Uh still made plenty of money
23:42because the rest of my lineup was sharp, but man, that is an insane L to take.
23:49Hate to see it. There were There was a time when I was a younger man where I was the cheap tight end whisperer.
23:55>> Ross Dwelley, people forget.
23:57>> I've never forgotten. Uh but I think I I I think I'm over the hill. I think it's jover for me. Uh this is This is a
24:05terrible L. I don't know what to say. A 26.5 V1.
24:09I mean, [ __ ] me.
24:12>> It's one of those You know what? I got to say it is one of those things where because we have seen Gadsden have good
24:17NFL games before, it does feel like oh Gadsden is more the safer, more reliable. Like that's the more reasonable choice. Whereas Siddiq, he's
24:26a little bit more of the unknown. But then when you really drill down into it, Siddiq actually much safer. Far less
24:35competition for targets per route. Now, the playing time not as safe because they have Rucker because they have Jelani Woods, because they have Andrew
24:44Beck or or whatever.
24:46But also lot more evidence that Siddiq is probably a good player. 16th overall pick in the NFL draft. Whereas Gadsden, as Nate mentioned,
24:56um you know, literally uh lost his job to Charlie Kolar and David Njoku. Not great. Not great on that. And the team like he was playing in the
25:06third quarter with their third string quarterback in preseason games. Like they they clearly were not that excited uh about about all all uh Arionda
25:14Gadsden. Now, frankly, the blade should have been given to you even more because Dalton Schultz was not even that expensive. And I don't They
25:24were trailing this whole game. I actually don't have any idea how Mr. Schultz ended up with only six points. I mean,
25:31this actually felt insane to me.
25:33>> The Dalton usage was weird. And honestly, so he ran only 22 routes and got like a 12% target share, 13% uh
25:44targets per route run. I don't know what happened. I'll have to dig into it. I'm guessing they just it was a slog of a game and they didn't
25:50have many pass attempts. But like yeah, I I I'm I'm shocked by this Dalton usage. I mean, with no Nico, I thought
25:57Dalton was going to be again in the 20% target share, 20% route run guy um or targets per route run and he just
26:05wasn't this week. But um but the Gadsden thing is still unacceptable.
26:12>> Egregious. Egregious. I you know, I mean >> Results aside.
26:16>> Schultz was $700 more. So what I wasn't going to do is play quote-unquote Isaiah Williams to get to Dalton Schultz. Um
26:24you know, I I I thought Bealey was like such a significantly better play.
26:29>> Yeah, dude. He [ __ ] smoked him, dude.
26:30Three for 39. [ __ ] Bealey kid.
26:33>> Yeah, smoked him. Um tough scene, but man, you tell me you tell me that it's going to be a 35-27
26:40game in the dome?
26:42Um I'm taking Bealey every time, man.
26:44Like it is it is what it is. Like where I played bad was not playing Cedeeque. Not not not paying up for Dalton Schultz. Dude,
26:52we we got our Dalton Schultz. We squeezed the orange last week. It was great. We got rich off him. Like congratulations to us.
26:59But Dalton Schultz is one of those Ponzi schemes where if you keep playing him over and over and over the results are predictable. Like the
27:06>> He like he is he is he is Dalton Schultz. Like at the end of the day he's Dalton Schultz. You know what I'm
27:12saying? Like at the end of the day I know at the yeah at the end of the day he's Dalton Schultz, yeah. So like I didn't
27:17play Schultz at all. Um >> But no.
27:20>> No. No. Dalton Schultz sucks, but Dalton Schultz is not the 20th 24th usage tight end on the week of a main slate like
27:28this. This was extreme results to not get him targeted with no Nico. I mean you play this game a thousand times
27:36this this has to be bottom percentile 20 like bottom 20 percentile usage outcome for him. Like he would he just wasn't targeted. He
27:44wasn't it this was not normal. I I'm not like I'm I'm all for Dalton Schultz sucks, but like dude, I mean he got less usage than
27:53Darnell Washington, Mike Gesicki, T.J.
27:56like Michael Mayer, Gunner Helm.
27:58Like he was >> Yeah, he he he ran bad. He ran bad, for sure.
28:02>> But yeah, I mean when you look at Shaheed's usage and and Shaheed's I mean Shaheed's targets per out run were in
28:0730% this week. Target share 20%. I mean this dude is just a stud and at 3,500 we yeah.
28:15Over Gadsden that was >> Gadsden?
28:19>> [laughter] >> Jesus Christ.
28:21>> red [clears throat] zone. Uh I played in the red zone. I played Geno Smith with Jahmyr Gibbs, Ken Walker, Garrett
28:28Wilson, Parker Washington, Isaiah Williams, Konyan Shaheed at 8.6%, Ashton Jeanty at 19.1% and the Raiders
28:38defense 12 points uh at 4%. So I played the Raiders instead of the Titans. I played Jeanty uh instead of Jaylen
28:46Warren.
28:48I frankly that lineup this morning projected at um This was like it was like an insane Sim ROI like like one of those crazy ones
28:59where you're like like the top one percentile rate was like 3%. So as soon as I saw that I was like boom absolute
29:05absolute shipper.
29:06>> Davis, I'm sorry. Did we did you have a segue there or did you just like skip out and start talking about some
29:12tournament lineup?
29:13>> Yeah, just skip the tight end talk.
29:14>> We were I I didn't need I did we we we done enough on Dalton Schultz brother.
29:18We we handled we handled we handled the Dalton Schultz.
29:21>> Yeah, yeah, yeah, it doesn't need to be re-litigated.
29:24>> feel like we should talk about the Isaiah Williams like Devon Valley. Do we think the Isaiah Williams thing was >> No, I did it I I did it. We were right
29:32to do it. I'd do it again. Gino Gino had 300 [ __ ] whatever 321 passing yards.
29:37Yeah, I'm playing Isaiah Williams there 10 out of 10 times.
29:39>> And Isaiah Williams had one catch. What does that tell you about how good of a play he was?
29:44>> hey, we've done this we've Look, dude, we've done this a million times. We we played so many [ __ ] at
29:493K wide receiver before. I'd do it again.
29:52>> I mean he got three targets on 42 routes. I'm a little concerned that that was might have been a bad play. I'm I'm
29:57just a little concerned.
29:58>> How many how many how many routes did he run?
30:01>> 42.
30:03And he had three targets.
30:05>> I would do it I would do it again.
30:09>> Just not taking the L, huh?
30:11>> 40 42 42 routes like correlated with your quarterback?
30:16Yes, easily. Easily. I'll do it again.
30:20>> I don't I don't know how to help you Davis.
30:22>> He had he had nine he had nine targets last week. No, I'm not doing this with you guys. I'm I'm absolutely not doing
30:27this with you guys.
30:29I wouldn't I wouldn't have played Isaiah Williams in a like I did a Mahomes lineup in the spy. I would not have
30:34played Isaiah Williams in that lineup.
30:37>> Yeah, if you're trying to make real money you wouldn't play Isaiah Williams.
30:40But for your Ricky Cash >> you guys you guys are you guys are wrong. First off because I knew I actually was not surprised at the Isaiah
30:48Williams ownership. I knew it was going to come in hot. I knew the jet stuff was going to get over played, but it was a
30:55way to get I mean frankly the issue is is that I thought Gentee was like the play of plays. Like I just I was like I
31:02got to do Gentee. Obviously the whatever whatever the I guess the winning move on this lineup would have been what Jaylen Waddle instead of Gentee and
31:11then what like Debo or something and then this lineup is totally nutted.
31:16Does that does that work salary-wise?
31:18You save you save >> I I thought I thought Gentee I thought Gentee was a wonderful play. So >> The winning the winning lineup so there
31:26you go. I mean this the winning lineup had Dalton Schultz and Valey in it. So yeah, I'm not I'm actually I'm actually
31:32not taking in this from you guys and I'm saying that this is just a good [ __ ] lineup and if the Jeremy if the Jeremy
31:38Ruckert touchdown had been Isaiah Williams you guys would be being like dude Davis you're such a genius. You played Isaiah Williams. What a what a
31:44masterpiece. What a what a DaVinci Picasso you painted with Isaiah Williams. I no 42 routes 42 routes and you guys are telling me this is a bad
31:54play. No.
31:55No. Not having it dude. Michael Mayer scored in this game. Cody White scored in this game. You're telling me one of
32:02the Cody White touchdowns a 4-yard Cody White touchdown couldn't have been Ashton Gentee's touchdown. Come on.
32:09Come on.
32:10>> I I'm I'm down for the Ashton Gentee. I I loved him. So no no notes here on that. However uh
32:18you know Isaiah Williams just Dude you got to take the L here. Like what are we talking about?
32:23>> No no I'm not I'm not taking the L. I'm still talking about this. Like move on bro.
32:28I'm not I'm not taking I'm not taking the L on this because this is the this is the thing that we talk about all the
32:34time. This is the the onslaught. This is how you can get away with playing 13% owned Isaiah Williams. What you can't do
32:41is you can't do uh like chalk Josh Allen with uh with with Garrett Wilson, Isaiah Williams, and and um Dalton Kincaid. That's what
32:51you can't do.
32:53That you can't do it's Nate, we talk about this all the time. It's using the cheap shitty plays to get in the
32:58marginal chalk. Like the worst plays in DFS are the marginal chalk. Like the the honestly actually I I actually hate to
33:06say this. You know who's a dog [ __ ] play in the context of this lineup and this slate? It's actually Parker Washington
33:12who is very marginal chalk. His projection was good but not great and he was over owned relative to his optimal probability. Parker Washington
33:20>> 12 I just think 12% for a receiver who's getting three targets it on 42 routes is potentially bad ownership to eat in a
33:28lineup where you're like >> It's just that he was the only there were no other punt plays at wide receiver. There was no one else I mean
33:35maybe maybe like I don't even know what Wester did but Wester would have been the only other guy under 4K and
33:40projected to get routes.
33:44>> Yeah.
33:46Yeah, I'm just saying 12% for him it's it's tough to eat.
33:50>> Malik Washington >> Malik Washington, yeah.
33:54>> Malik Washington doesn't even that doesn't even [ __ ] exist to me, brother.
33:57>> Chris Bell Roman Wilson >> Dude, you're out here talking about Isaiah Williams.
34:02You're trying to >> Yeah, it's 42 He has 42 routes. You can't talk any [ __ ] about Malik Washington, my brother.
34:08>> 40 42 routes, brother. 42 routes.
34:12How is 42 routes like the ninth most of any It's got to be no, ninth most. It's probably like the fifth most of any
34:18player in the whole slate.
34:19>> Nate Nate, pull pull up the whopper.
34:22Let's let's >> The whopper was uh >> Yeah, whopper's bad when you don't get targets.
34:28>> Uh yeah, less than 20% whopper. Uh no, Michael Wilson had the most routes 53. But yeah, I mean he's up there.
34:35Isaiah Williams is up there in routes run for sure. Jets ran a ton of routes.
34:38>> Yeah, obviously he's up there in routes, dude.
34:41>> Okay.
34:42>> I'm putting in my >> Sammy pull pulls another turn of teams so we can get this off.
34:46>> Yeah, put it in Sammy's team on right now.
34:49>> Okay, I I I I I shipped you a a lineup, yeah.
34:52>> Yeah, you played you played the biggest donkey chalk in the [ __ ] world. I mean there's one thing there's one thing
34:57that I've learned, Nate. There's I I've I haven't learned a lot dealing with you cuz you're too annoying to listen to,
35:04but I have learned one thing from you, which is that the worst type of play in DFS is the slappy chalk, which is
35:12Jameson Williams. When when Jameson Williams projects not good, which he definitely did not project good, and he
35:21is 13% owned, that is as bad as it gets.
35:24Uh Sammy, what field is this in?
35:26>> This was in the big spy.
35:29The 400k.
35:30>> The big spy, 400k.
35:32>> Yeah, so I think it's like four 4,000 something people.
35:38>> All right, well.
35:40Um I'm going to guess I'm going to guess this Sims bad because it's got Jameson Williams at whatever his ownership is.
35:51>> Yeah, so let's let's let's tell the lineup to the people at home. I had Jared Goff stack with Gibbs and
36:00Jameson Williams.
36:02We had Jaylen Warren and Ashton Jeanty as the other two running backs.
36:08We had Garrett Wilson and Sadiq as the bring backs to that big uh Lions onslaught.
36:17And then we had the Steelers defense uh at home against Cincinnati.
36:23And I don't know what What to say here except uh I played Jameson Williams in an actual lineup that made some
36:30money. So, that's pretty awesome for me.
36:32>> Hey, my lineup made some money, too, but it [ __ ] had Isaiah Williams in it, which apparently is the worst play of
36:36all time.
36:37>> [laughter] >> But, you know, I wanted to onslaught this game. I was quite sure that I I heard plenty of scuttlebutt about
36:45Jameson Williams this week. I wasn't quite sure what his ownership would come in at. Do you guys have his pre-lock ownership
36:52by chance?
36:53>> Jamo?
36:55>> Yeah.
36:55>> Yeah, I do. And it's going to be way lower than whatever it was. Uh yeah, 6.3%.
37:00>> Yeah.
37:00>> Yeah, ETR has it at 8%. Um No, I I sorry, about 10%. So, it came in a little over and you know, that's
37:09that's to be expected if you have your finger on the pulse, you'll understand that like people are going to over-own this play.
37:16Um yeah, it's Jameson Williams week, you know.
37:19>> It's Jame- It's It's Waymo week, dude.
37:21It's Waymo week.
37:23>> Yeah, it's very very slappy-ish. It is what it is. But, >> honestly, just talk me I actually think this lineup's fine. I I have no issue
37:29with it. It's pretty good. Um but, talk to me about wanting to do um about playing Goff instead of just playing Geno.
37:39Cuz I feel like I feel like anytime I set up Detroit Jets stuff, I was like, "Oh, yeah, you got to just do You got to
37:45just do Geno instead."
37:47>> Yeah, yeah. I mean, maybe it was a bad choice. I don't know. I just I just thought that Goff's upside was
37:53much more. I don't I I don't I don't have much more than that. I wanted to be on this side of it
37:58um as opposed to the other side, you know.
38:01Goff in the dome, like the guy throws for 300 always. He He ran bad here, I guess. But, yeah.
38:09>> What do you What do you have, Nate?
38:11>> Yeah, I mean, I don't hate it. I do like the Geno thing over Goff cuz I actually think the way that they play and the way that
38:18they're going to score like this is going to they're going to have similar outcomes here at just way less ownership. Um
38:26I mean, it's it's the chalkiest game to stack of the slate, but um I think the Cedee Lamb thing gets you off of it a little bit. So
38:36>> And And Malik Washington?
38:37>> Yeah.
38:38>> Yeah, what was What was >> Malik Washington 4% owned? Yeah, he's 4.2% owned.
38:44Um Um my kids are calling me, but I thought he I thought he was a good play. Um >> And he did pretty well. I mean, you
38:51know, not a smash and maybe he doesn't have the upside to quite win a tournament, so maybe that's a a problem
38:56there, but uh I I like Malik Washington.
38:59>> I mean, the the the the thing you have to do to like the the requirement, the way scoring is in
39:06the NFL now, you just you don't have to get that much out of your 3K, your 4K guys. Like scoring is
39:15like I our our brains are kind of warped I think a little bit from week one where everyone absolutely smashed, but like
39:21that's not in general the way the that the NFL is going. Like I I think like 185 will win the spy some weeks, you know?
39:31So like getting getting 11 out of Malik Washington is probably fine. A lot of time. There you go, Sammy. Very actually
39:37very positive Sim ROI. 156% Sim ROI. Uh respecting just respecting the line It's respecting the Lions onslaught.
39:48>> Yeah. Deserves respect. And you know, I mean, dude, we talked about this last week, but like Cedee his usage is just
39:55like completely off the rails.
39:57>> Oh, yeah. It wasn't wasn't today. Wasn't today.
40:00>> Yeah, it wasn't it wasn't great.
40:02>> He said that it was still really good.
40:04He just didn't score the touchdowns, actually.
40:06>> Yeah. Yeah, I mean, and and bad efficiency on the ground.
40:10Uh hate to see that cuz he had really good efficiency week one, not really bad last week, so a third week where his
40:15efficiency was not good.
40:17Um >> Yeah, he didn't score which sucks, but in this game environment against a questionable defense, um that kind of usage, man, it's you
40:25know, he's getting like top five NFL running back usage. And he came in at 20%. It's not like he wasn't owned, but
40:31I really like Jente this week.
40:33>> No, I I did I did as well. Washington scored a touchdown, Cody White scored a touchdown, Michael Mayer scored a
40:39touchdown, Bowers scored a touchdown from the four-yard line. Like that um these are these are still these are the the pre-lock numbers. Brian is working
40:49on a contest sim uh a post-lock contest sim, but we it's still being tested.
40:55Yeah, it's not 100% good to go. So, these are the pre-lock numbers.
40:59>> Sammy, this was the big spike you played in, the 400K?
41:02>> Yeah.
41:03>> I got a similar team in the 400K then. I can we can pull up cuz it's Yeah, I had a similar build to you.
41:09>> All right.
41:10>> Hit me. What was Cuz we're starting at >> Yes, I went Goff, Warren, Gibbs, Tucker, Trey Tucker, Jameson Williams,
41:20Amon-Ra, LaPorta, Schultz, Titans.
41:28>> Titans. Wow, you did you did Jamo and Saint Brown?
41:31>> Yes, I went full >> Um Schultz and then who was your flex?
41:39>> Uh LaPorta.
41:44>> Oh my god.
41:46Oh my god, bro bro said bro said ship it.
41:50>> Yeah, I wanted everybody.
41:52>> Goff, Gibbs, Warren, Saint Brown, Jamo, Trey Tucker, Schultz, LaPorta. I mean, frankly, I uh I I would just say I don't think I
42:01would ever play this lineup without a jet. I just I just would never play this lineup without a jet.
42:07>> Yeah, that's the one thing that I'm like, but I was was to get so much projection in while getting that
42:13correlation that I really felt solid about it. So, yeah, it'll be interesting to see cuz I think Yeah, let's see what it says cuz I love
42:24the I mean, I love the onslaughts like this.
42:26>> This is going to be I would say I I I just know I I just know I know this is
42:30going to be crazy good Sim ROI because that's like the one thing the Sims have taught us over time is that the team
42:36onslaught stuff has crazy high Sim ROI.
42:39>> I'll just I'll just tell the listeners out there. I hope for all of you that you find somebody who loves you as much
42:46as Nate loves going to tight end. I mean >> And and Nate loves Trey Tucker, too.
42:51Nate loves [laughter] Trey Tucker.
42:56>> Yeah, this dude I I so I mean, I just know what I would have done in this lineup was I would have if I was really
43:02stuck on playing LaPorta, I would just do I would have done Garrett Wilson and Valdes-Scantling.
43:08Instead of Jameson and Trey Tucker.
43:12Or or whatever whatever [ __ ] whatever wide receiver. I mean, $5,000 Trey Tucker >> the worst. Yeah, Tucker was the worst
43:18play on here by far.
43:20Um and looking back, I didn't like I don't like Jameson at ownership, either. So, I probably yeah, if I could have those two pieces
43:29back and do something different, I wish I would have.
43:33>> Yeah. No, I I I think >> I'll be interested to see what it Sims at.
43:36>> Yeah, it's going to be it's going to be it is going to have positive Sim ROI.
43:40Although, you also just the Like I I get I get the logic for the two tight end stuff. I know why I mean,
43:48frankly, like we all know this. Like DraftKings, just the way the pricing works is tight ends are priced lower than if they were priced at wide
43:55receiver, right? Like so, you are getting a discount. I do just want And and just the way and at the NFL is
44:01working, there are fewer wide receiver threes um who and even wide receiver twos who score points these days. So, tight ends
44:13tight ends are much more valuable, but the the the transition of that is running backs are so much more valuable.
44:21The the ceiling comes with the running backs. Like every team I built this week had three running backs.
44:26>> And I and I think that that makes sense, but I do think tight ends are still being mispriced on DraftKings. And until
44:31they're priced accurately, which is like brought to the receiver range, it there's value there. And I think there's edge there. When you look at the routes
44:40that tight ends are running and where they're getting targeted on the field, the expected points that they're getting, the amount of athletic like
44:47correction that you'd have to make to make tight ends as value or less valuable than receivers is like very sharp. Like and I just you don't have to
44:56do that. When you look at expected production, you're just getting way more value on DraftKings at the tight end position than you are
45:02>> [snorts] >> at wide receiver. So, and running backs obviously you're paying for it. So, it's like Yeah, there's just not a ton
45:12>> You are, but I mean we had we had um >> Not with Jaylen Warren you weren't.
45:18>> I was going to say we had Warren, we had Hubbard, there you go. Two 221% Sam ROI, 5% top 1%.
45:25Yeah, I mean I I knew I knew it would it it always loves these lineups. Like you ever you ever want to make yourself feel
45:31good about a lineup, go put five guys from the same team in your in a lineup and then the computer will always love
45:36it.
45:37>> But you also still have to get good projection. You can't just do that and then go overpriced and not get Like I
45:43thought Jaylen Warren and Schultz and Titans D Like I I still was getting good projection at other spots.
45:50So, it wasn't just like oh, Jamison I don't know. But yeah, I always tend to build this way, but that's it was
45:58similar to Sammy's team just tilted a little a little more in the Detroit.
46:01>> And I will say, and this is probably kind of elementary for a lot of people, but maybe for some it isn't. You know,
46:08the the projection for DST, I don't think matters as much, right? Because it's just such a it's just such a weaker
46:16projection that you can take it more in the shorts at DST because big DST scores are like, you know, based off of kind of
46:23fluke plays. Um instead of like, oh, this guy's running this many routes or getting this many targets, things that like even out quicker. So, for me, like
46:33I just think differentiating at DST is kind of almost always the right thing to do. Um I don't know if that's really
46:41captured in the Like, who What What DST did you play on this team, Nate? I can't see.
46:45>> Titans.
46:46>> Yeah, see that >> Titans got it blocked, but >> It's To me, that's I don't I wouldn't do that. Um
46:54Yeah, I just I just don't think this lineup is like unchalky enough to to like take a chalky DST. I think you
47:04can just like play a similar DST >> Well, it it is it is it is um un- it is unchalky in the sense that
47:14like the combo ownership of all these lines together, like Nate was probably the only lineup in the whole tournament that had five lines.
47:22>> Yeah, Sammy, like it's only like 10% more owned than your total team. Like it I think it had 152% ownership and your
47:27team had 142.
47:29Um >> Yeah, and and probably the DST was different cuz like I played Pittsburgh's, you know, and I had another tourney lineup where I played
47:37the Buccaneers. You know what I mean?
47:39Like >> Yeah.
47:40>> If If there's If there's a If there's a chalk DST lineup, I mean, man, I'm doing everything I can to not
47:47play it.
47:49>> That's fair. I The one I I don't really sweat defense here. I think the biggest thing I'm sweating on this lineup is
47:55just the J' Melo Tucker thing. Those are the two that I feel most bad about in this lineup. But the I
48:01would build the main piece of this lineup over again.
48:04>> Yeah. I mean I I wouldn't I wouldn't play Trey Tucker again.
48:08But >> [laughter] >> I mean Nate's Nate's just like threaded the needle with Trey Tucker, you know?
48:14This is boy.
48:16>> He just He just lives it out. Um all right. Well, Stafford just missed Terrance Ferguson for a wide open 40-yard touchdown. So that is our
48:23uh >> Oh, no.
48:25>> That's our That's our key to move on here. Uh everyone make sure like the video, subscribe to the channel, and
48:30I'll be back with you guys for the bag check.
