Webb's play-calling experiment falters; Payton takes over while Webb stays in game-day role.

Offensive coordinator Davis Webb's experiment calling plays has not gone well through four games. Despite the Broncos leading the NFL in passing attempts last year, the team has attempted just 90 rushing attempts through four weeks (tied for 29th in the NFL), and Nix has struggled with career-low efficiency metrics. Webb will continue in his game-day role but Sean Payton will reclaim play-calling duties starting in Week 5, though Webb will remain heavily involved in the offensive game plan.
