Daniels (19-25, 0 TOs) became first undrafted rookie QB to beat Cowboys since 1987.

Daniels, an undrafted rookie making only his second NFL start, completed 19 of 25 passes and never turned the football over in Tampa Bay's upset victory over Dallas. He became the first undrafted rookie starting QB to beat the Cowboys since 1987 (Washington's Ed Rubbert). Rather than being forced to carry the Buccaneers offense, Daniels was protected by the running game and Dallas's poor tackling, allowing him to manage the game efficiently without turnovers.
