From the episode

The thing with Douglas is that every single one of his routes run came out of 11 personnel. He's a slot player.

NeutralUsage

Douglas is a safe but limited option due to his slot-only role.

DeMario Douglas is a rosterable player who led the Patriots in routes run in Week 1, but his ceiling is limited by his exclusive usage in 11 personnel as a slot receiver.
