Video: Top 10 Takeaways You Need to Know Before Week 6 Fantasy Football (Rookie Report)
CJ Strad, but I really did think it was going under the radar how good he's been since they were 0 and4... through five games. CJ Stradout 64% completion, 1400 passing yards, six touchdowns, no picks, 7.6 yards per attempt. A better EPA per play than his first five games as a rookie... 17.8 points per game... He's like the QB12 in fantasy right now and nobody's talking about it.

Stroud QB12 with elite efficiency; underrated despite 1–4 record

Stroud has been playing at an elite level and his performance has gone under the radar despite the Texans being 1–4. Through five games, Stroud has posted 64% completion, 1,400 passing yards, 6 TDs, 0 INTs, 7.6 YPA, and 17.8 PPG—better EPA per play than his rookie year through five games (17.8 PPG vs. 17.7 PPG), better completion percentage, and better completion percentage over expectation. Ron Stewart notes he's QB12 in fantasy right now despite flying under the radar; he's more mobile this year and willing to scramble, showing flashes of mobility from his Ohio State days. In neutral situations, the Texans are top 10 in pass rate and top 10 in EPA per drop back, with Stroud dropping straight back and running the offense. With Nico Collins returning and Marvin Harrison Jr. traded in, Stroud's elite play should continue to be supported by high-volume passing.
