Fantasy Football Happy Hour with Matthew Berry on Matthew Golden

Golden had strong Week 1 usage, but remains a risky start over reliable backfield volume.

Matthew Golden saw encouraging usage in Week 1 as the Packers' number one wide receiver, but Friedman remains cautious due to his disappointing rookie season. While Golden has a favorable matchup against the Jets, Friedman would still start Jeremiah Love over him, as wide receiver production is more variable than the projected usage for a running back.
