Smith-Njigba bears over-reliance due to weak run game and missing backs.

Smith-Njigba is the subject of an over-reliance in the Seahawks passing game due to the absence of Kenneth Walker III (free agency) and Zach Charbonnet (ACL tear in playoffs). The lack of a functional run game forces Seattle to lean heavily on the star wide receiver, which puts pressure on Darnold and the offense to execute in rhythm. Cooper Kupp noted the team is 'not doing a good enough job in the run game,' which indirectly highlights Smith-Njigba's elevated role and the offensive imbalance.
