STACKED’s take

Positive signalRole

Armstrong's first career start shows blocking value in run-heavy Chiefs offense.

Second-year wideout elevated from practice squad and made his first career start in Week 6 against the Chargers, playing 42 offensive snaps alongside Xavier Worthy (51) and Jalen Royals (45). Armstrong lined up for 15 run plays (nearly as much as Worthy's 18 and Royals' 17), spending 12 snaps in the slot and 14 on the perimeter; he caught a 13-yard pass on two targets and was an impactful blocker on run plays, raising the question of whether he deserves a permanent active roster spot.
