Armstrong was target on Mahomes' red-zone interception in Week 6 against LA.
Wide receiver Andrew Armstrong was the target option on Patrick Mahomes' third-and-goal interception from the two-yard line in Week 6 against Los Angeles. Mahomes explained his thought process post-game: 'we had an option, and it was Armstrong, and it happened faster than I expected it, and so instead of just staying with it and throwing it then, I started scrambling.' The play wasn't set up for the coverage the Chargers showed, and Mahomes' scramble and subsequent throw resulted in the interception.
