Mendoza's timeline to start delayed by Raiders' 3-0 start and Cousins' strong play.

The rookie No. 1 overall pick was expected to take over from Kirk Cousins as the season progressed and losses mounted, but the Raiders' unexpected 3-0 start has altered the timeline for his ascension.
