McCarthy, like Dart, has the ability to run the ball and may need to show off his legs and evade some defenders on Sunday... It even opens the door for more play calls that the Giants initially trained for with Dart that they weren't equipped to do with Winston.

McCarthy's rushing ability unlocks Giants play-calling designed for Dart.

McCarthy's dual-threat ability at quarterback—his capacity to run the ball and evade defenders—is something the Giants will likely utilize to optimize his skillset, especially given the team's struggling running backs and the Giants' own sack issues (18 sacks allowed this season). This also opens the door for play calls the Giants initially trained for with Jaxson Dart that they couldn't execute with Jameis Winston.
