'Maybe now 20 percent of that 30 that was gone is back,' Nagy said. 'Now that he's the starter, it probably benefits us some that he's just not always coming in to do predictable QB-driven runs.'

McCarthy's dual-threat ability restores 20% of lost playbook with zone reads and RPOs

Nagy expects McCarthy's dual-threat ability to unlock approximately 20 percent of the 30 percent of the Giants' playbook that was lost when Jaxson Dart was injured and replaced by pocket passer Jameis Winston. McCarthy's zone reads and RPO packages will restore offensive versatility, though Nagy cautioned against predictability: 'Now that he's the starter, it probably benefits us some that he's just not always coming in to do predictable QB-driven runs.'
