From the episode
Williams looked really great and ran only 11 routes. Was super productive. Had four catches on four targets on those routes... he's still pretty clearly, I mean, he was fourth on the wide receiver depth chart in this game. He played far less snaps than Deami Brown. I think that's going to change real fast... he's still going to be, I think, a clear third in the pecking order behind Terry McLaurin, Stefan Diggs.
STACKED’s take
Williams' 4-for-4 targets and elite route efficiency signal breakout potential; buy but don't overpay.
Williams ran only 11 routes in Week 1 but was super productive with 4 catches on 4 targets; had two targets inside the 20 and a .36 targets per route run rate. The source notes his win rate is really good, fantasy points and expected fantasy points lined up, and he performed as expected in opportunities given. He's currently fourth on the wide receiver depth chart but played far less snaps than Deami Brown, which the source expects to change quickly. The source is bullish on Williams as a buy but cautions not to overpay (avoid sending a first-round pick), expecting opportunities to buy cheaper as variance regresses his early efficiency. He's likely capped as the wide receiver three behind Terry McLaurin and Stefan Diggs for most of the season but could eat into Diggs' slot usage if he continues providing explosive plays.
