Yahoo Fantasy Football on Josh Jacobs
From the article
Jacobs generated three on seven targets. He's already run the most routes of any Green Bay RB. Jacobs saw more stacked boxes than Lloyd, too.
STACKED’s take
Jacobs dominates touches and receiving work; efficiency hampered by weak run blocking.
Jacobs returned from suspension and immediately made an impact for Green Bay. He generated three first downs on seven targets as a receiver, compared to MarShawn Lloyd and Pierre Strong who needed multiple weeks to exit a game with more than one first down as a receiver. Jacobs has already run the most routes of any Green Bay RB and saw more stacked boxes than Lloyd, creating opportunities for teammates through his gravity in the backfield and out in space. Against Detroit, Jacobs out-touched Lloyd almost 3:1, with all but one red-zone carry. However, he was hit at or behind the LOS on over half of his carries (54.5% stuff rate), posting a 36.4% rushing success rate and 0.55 adjusted yards before contact per attempt. The source notes opportunities won't be an issue, but efficiency as a runner will remain limited until the offensive line improves.
