McCarthy: 20/28, 252 yards in best game to date; already proving 5th-round value.

Completed 20 of 28 passes for 252 yards in Week 7 win over Texans; described as possibly his best game to date. McCarthy showed precise sideline throws with defenders diving, threw with full velocity on some attempts, and displayed aggressive play-calling. Offensive line provided solid protection despite Texans' strong defensive line, allowing McCarthy to execute the game plan effectively. Has already proven his fifth-round draft pick value, with a chance he could play so well it becomes a real discussion point for the offseason.
