From the episode

Kyron Williams just continuing to remind us that the shiny new toy is not always better. Everyone – because Blake Corum's a little younger, everyone wants him to take more and more and more because he makes flashy plays sometimes. Kyron Williams, just unbelievable... he's still their primary pass catching, primary third down back, and terrific on the ground as well.

Positive signalRole

Williams locked in as Rams' lead pass-catcher and third-down back over Corum.

Kyron Williams continues as the Rams' primary pass-catching and primary third-down back with terrific ground game production; despite having a career-high game, he remains the lead option over Blake Corum, who gets attention for flashy plays but is younger. Williams overcame slow combine speed that typically signals bust territory, and he was similarly productive at Notre Dame.
