Positive signalRole

Kamara's seven targets confirm lead-back role in Saints' pass-heavy offense.

Alvin Kamara is the clear lead back in New Orleans' backfield, securing seven targets in Week 5 against Atlanta along with 23 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. The source expects this volume to be a regular occurrence given the Saints' defensive struggles that keep them in shootouts, though notes Kamara won't be a 20-touch guy at his age and will be limited, leaving room for backup usage.
