Aaron Jones

PositiveProjection19:00

Scored 16.8 fantasy points in Week 4.

Insight page

Alec Ingold

PositiveBust22:44

The source attempted to roster Alec Ingold as a waiver wire target in week 4, but the pick did not work out.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

PositiveRole7:00

Alvin Kamara is the clear lead back in New Orleans' backfield, securing seven targets in Week 5 against Atlanta along with 23 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. The source expects this volume to be a regular occurrence given the Saints' defensive struggles that keep them in shootouts, though notes Kamara won't be a 20-touch guy at his age and will be limited, leaving room for backup usage.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveProjection4:00

Robinson was preposterous in Week 5 against the Saints, going for 27.7 fantasy points on just 14 carries for 62 yards and three touchdowns, with only one catch for two yards. The source emphasizes his elite athleticism and dominance, noting he didn't even lead his team in rushing touchdowns despite his dominant performance, and that he remains the clear lead back in Atlanta's offense with an identity built around an off-the-charts running game.

Insight page

Brian Robinson

NegativeValue5:00

Brian Robinson had a three-touchdown game with 14 carries for 62 yards, but the source explicitly states this is not sustainable moving forward and he does not have standalone value. The source dropped him for Tyreek Hill in one league, comparing him to Jordan Mason as a backup with value only as insurance to Bijan Robinson. He is only rostered in 27% of leagues.

Insight page
NegativeValue37:54

In a hypothetical roster decision, the source would drop Brian Robinson Jr. in favor of adding Tyreek Hill as a speculative end-of-bench option, though this depends on individual roster construction and needs.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection20:00

Scored 21.46 fantasy points in Week 4.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

NegativeProjection20:00

Scored 6.1 fantasy points in Week 4, disappointing performance.

Insight page

Carson Beck

NegativeRole47:07

Chatter is starting to pick up about whether Arizona will turn the keys over to Carson Beck, but the source does not expect it to happen in Week 5. Even with a good matchup against the Lions, having never played an NFL regular season snap before, Beck would not feel nearly as good for the Cardinals offense.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveProjection8:00

Chris Olave is described as awesome and a consistent weekly WR6 option for fantasy purposes. The source expects him to be a reliable target in the Saints' pass-heavy offense, which will keep throwing the ball to three primary receivers with Olave as one of them.

Insight page
PositiveProjection19:00

Scored 19.6 fantasy points in Week 4, described as another nice outing.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveValue42:02

Christian Watson receives a slight edge in rankings over Matthew Golden due to his upside and scoring equity, though the source acknowledges Golden's case is getting close and could be favored in flex decisions.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeInjury36:06

Adam Schefter reported DJ Moore's shoulder injury was a re-aggravation of a prior injury and is not considered long-term as of right now. The source interprets this as Moore could be out this week, though he remains in projections; conservative early-week approach suggests monitoring for updates.

Insight page
PositiveInjury54:30

DJ Moore suffered an injury in week two that impacted the Bills offense target distribution, contributing to Dalton Kincaid's inconsistent production in subsequent weeks.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeProjection24:15

DeAndre Swift had a tough performance in Week 5, part of a knockout league lineup that underperformed.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveBust53:24

Dalton Kincaid is trending the wrong direction through the first month of the season. He leads his position in average depth of target and was shadowed half the time last week. After showing promise in week two (the source thought he could have a breakout), it has instead been an outbreak of sadness and disappointment. He is a lineup lock but the source is writing about him in the playbook because he's trending the wrong direction. The source notes this is just Dalton Kincaid from last year and the year before—the same disappointing production.

Insight page
PositiveRole54:30

Kincaid has failed to realize preseason potential; week one showed playing time, week two excusable due to Detroit matchup, but last two games show declining playing time and productivity with no clear explanation. The offense exhibits unpredictable target distribution similar to Packers last year, rotating between Keon Coleman, Kincaid, and Dawson Knox week-to-week, making him a guessing game on which week he'll produce rather than a reliable starter.

Insight page

Darren Waller

NegativeProjection20:00

Scored 6.6 fantasy points in Week 4; the source notes they talked Mike into starting him.

Insight page

Dawson Knox

NegativeRole55:30

Dawson Knox is part of the unpredictable target rotation in the Bills offense, with week-to-week variability in receiving opportunities alongside Keon Coleman and Dalton Kincaid, making it difficult to project which receiver will lead in any given week.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveProjection49:48

DK Metcalf is trending in the right direction with nine-plus targets in three of four games through the first month of the season. Aaron Rodgers has had yards per attempt over 10 in back-to-back weeks and is being much more aggressive downfield, which bodes very well for Metcalf given his status as one of the best deep ball threats of the last 25 years. He is wide receiver 10 in targets, wide receiver 4 in routes run, and wide receiver 1 in snaps played. He has the Colts this week (top 30 play) and should be in lineups despite being only wide receiver 32 in fantasy points so far, suggesting more expected fantasy points are on tap.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeUsage5:00

Drake London caught five passes for 94 yards in Week 5 against the Saints, which is a solid output, but felt disappointing after his 194-yard performance the previous week. The source notes that London is one of only two primary pass-catchers for Atlanta alongside Bijan Robinson, making him a core part of the Falcons' passing game.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveRole48:33

Emmanuel Wilson is the priority waiver wire add for Week 5 based on his performance last week. With Zach Charbonnet out and no designated return date, Wilson is the primary option to add this week.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

NegativeUsage24:15

Garrett Wilson did not play well in Week 5, contributing to a knockout league lineup that failed to survive the week.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveProjection19:00

Scored 17 fantasy points in Week 4, rumbling into the end zone.

Insight page

George Pickens

NegativeProjection57:16

Pickens has 28 targets, 18 receptions, 225 receiving yards, and zero touchdowns through four weeks despite being drafted in the top three rounds. Targets have been consistent (6, 8, 11, 3 targets week-to-week) but touchdown drought is notable. Projected as WR17 rest of season. Source notes frustration rather than concern; touchdown will eventually come and he'll be startable, but lacks the upside of Parker Washington due to lower ceiling.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeInjury24:15

Jamar Chase got banged up during Week 5, mentioned in the context of a knockout league update where he was part of a lineup that underperformed.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

PositiveMatchup25:55

Brissett faces the Detroit Lions, who have allowed four straight quarterbacks to score as top-10 fantasy performers; Bryce Young scored just 21.5 points against them last week, the fewest any QB has scored against Detroit this season. The source recommends grabbing Brissett off waivers and starting him directly if needed. Brissett averaged 18.9 fantasy points per game last year but is at 16.5 this season with inconsistency (duds of 6.5 and 10.4, but also a 25.6); his efficiency has dipped to 5.4 yards per pass attempt, though the Lions matchup could improve that.

Insight page
PositiveValue45:02

Jacoby Brissett is ranked ahead of Jalen Hurts in Week 5 rankings and is worth considering as a pickup, particularly for those with Hurts on their roster. The source would rank Brissett higher than Hurts this week despite the Eagles' generally favorable schedule.

Insight page
PositiveProjection46:31

Brissett is now at a full season (16 games) as Arizona's starter since taking over for Kyler; he has 31 total touchdowns and has two passing touchdowns in two straight weeks, trending the right way. The Lions allow the most touchdowns (11 through four games), making Brissett a great streamer option for Week 5.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeInjury1:30

Jadarian Price is not dealing with a season-ending injury, meaning he could return to the Seattle backfield at some point. However, with multiple backs in the mix (Charbonnet, Mixon, Wilson, Helani), the backfield situation remains unclear and week-to-week.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeProjection43:18

The source is not fully confident that Jalen Hurts will be a top 10 quarterback the rest of the season, only sort of confident. Hurts has never put up huge passing numbers and has relied on elite rushing; without that rushing production, he might be just a fringe QB1 from a fantasy perspective, similar to Kyler Mariota. However, the Eagles' schedule still looks good moving forward, and the source would try not to drop Hurts despite considering Jacoby Brissett ahead of him in Week 5 rankings.

Insight page

Jalin Hyatt

NegativeUsage23:39

JSN (Jalin Hyatt) is noted as receiving most of the passing volume in his offense, with the source observing that nearly every pass goes to him rather than to other receivers like Tori Horton.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeProjection18:00

Jeremiah Love scored 6.5 fantasy points in Week 5, appearing in a starts-of-the-week lineup but with modest production.

Insight page
NegativeProjection18:18

Scored 6.5 fantasy points in Week 4.

Insight page

Joe Mixon

NegativeRole1:00

Joe Mixon was signed by the Seattle Seahawks, but the source emphasizes he does not have standalone value currently. Mixon was brought in with the idea he could play soon, but with Zach Charbonnet, Emmanuel Wilson, George Helani, and Jadarian Price all in the mix, the backfield is crowded. The most likely outcome is that Seattle's backfield remains a stay-away situation week-to-week, though it may eventually settle into two guys once health improves.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

PositiveInjury10:00

Jordan Tyson's return timeline has been extended beyond initial expectations. The latest update indicates it will be longer than originally planned at the start of the season, with Week 9 now being the most logical target for his return, putting him still weeks away from availability.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeProjection20:00

Scored 4.6 fantasy points in Week 4, disappointing performance.

Insight page

Kalif Raymond

PositiveSleeper22:58

Kalief Raymond was rostered as a waiver wire target and played well, though the source notes the picks have trended toward finding good fantasy plays that score in the end zone rather than consistent fantasy performers.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

PositiveBreakout35:59

At some point, Coleman might emerge as a flex option even with DJ Moore in the lineup; he could be having a year three breakout. The source recommends keeping him on your bench as a speculative add, especially if DJ Moore's shoulder injury sidelines him this week.

Insight page
NegativeRole55:30

Keon Coleman is part of the unpredictable target rotation in the Bills offense, with week-to-week variability in receiving opportunities alongside Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox, making it difficult to project which receiver will lead in any given week.

Insight page

Khalil Shakir

NegativeRole36:06

Khalil Shakir is not going to be used near the goal line, limiting his touchdown upside in the Bills offense.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeRole5:00

Kyle Pitts had another quiet night with only three targets in Week 5 against the Saints and wasn't even playing early in the game, suggesting a possible coach's decision. The source notes this continues a pattern of underutilization and compares it to concerns about Marvin Harrison Jr., indicating there may be behind-the-scenes issues affecting his role despite his involvement and energy when scoring.

Insight page

Marcus Mariota

NegativeInjury19:00

Got banged up and left the game early in Week 4, scoring only 5.34 fantasy points.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeRole47:52

Chatter is percolating about a possible trade of Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Colts; there is now a non-zero chance of this move happening. The source notes there is plenty of pressure on Colts GM Chris Ballard, which could lead to moves, though it is unclear whether a trade would resurrect Harrison's fantasy value in Arizona's struggling offense.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveValue42:02

Matthew Golden has seven more targets than Christian Watson and has consistently been in the mid-20% target share range. The source gives a slight edge to Watson in rankings due to his upside and scoring equity, but makes a case that Golden could be favored over Watson in flex decisions.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

NegativeBust50:08

Michael Pittman Jr. is trending the wrong direction through the first month of the season. Despite five straight years of heavy usage and production in Indianapolis, he is only wide receiver 32 in fantasy points and the Colts are not throwing at him despite him playing basically all snaps and running all routes. The source is hopeful he might not yet be featured in the game plan (similar to Rashee Rice early in the season) and that this will change, but so far it's been disappointing. The source would drop Pittman for Jacoby Brissett if also rostering Jalen Hurts.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveRole57:16

Parker Washington is the clear WR1 in Jacksonville's offense with 26% target share and strong first-read metrics from Trevor Lawrence. Despite appearing to have 6 or fewer targets in three of four games, this is explained by game script: Jacksonville's blowout over New England (35-6) limited volume, and last week Lawrence threw only 23 passes. Washington had a near-miss 40-yard catch last week and faced CJ Turner shadow coverage on all perimeter routes. Projected as WR22 rest of season. Source is not concerned about target volatility, holds him, and prefers him over Pickens rest of season due to clearer role and higher floor.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeBust42:02

RJ Harvey's 10 targets are probably a mirage; the source does not recommend him over Matthew Golden in flex decisions.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

PositiveRole50:50

Roman Wilson is not startable in fantasy. He barely played last week and his target share was 30%, making him third or sometimes fourth in line in the Steelers wide receiving core behind DK Metcalf and others like Jeremy Bernard.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveProjection18:18

Scored 22.4 fantasy points in Week 4 from the same game as Terro McMillan.

Insight page

Seth McGowan

PositiveSleeper40:40

Seth McGowan is the clear number two running back in Indianapolis behind Jonathan Taylor and is the type of guy to fill out the end of your bench as a league-winner candidate. He was a day three draft pick this year, the team seems to like him, and if Taylor were out for the season, McGowan would be the only guy discussed on waivers. He has a Jonathan Taylor aesthetic—when he's in the game and gets a carry, he produces yards.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

NegativeInjury49:23

Tank Bigsby got hurt and will be out for a couple of weeks, creating volume uncertainty for the Philadelphia Eagles backfield.

Insight page

Tommy Tremble

PositiveBust22:22

The source attempted to roster Tommy Tremble, the Panthers tight end, as a waiver wire target in week 4, but the pick did not work out.

Insight page

Tory Horton

PositiveSleeper23:21

Tori Horton was selected as a waiver wire target and scored a touchdown; the source notes Horton wasn't playing much volume and most passes go to JSN, but as a player available in over 99.5% of leagues, the pick was based on luck rather than process. The source credits producer Q for the selection and notes Q also bet the end-zone touchdown.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveProjection59:00

Trevor Lawrence is playing at an elite level; his strong first-read metrics support confidence in Parker Washington's target share and production potential despite recent game-script limitations.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveValue54:14

Tyler Warren is a better option than Dalton Kincaid at tight end. The source had Tyler Warren initially, then picked up Dalton Kincaid to go back to the well with Warren, which is what they did last week, suggesting Warren is the preferred tight end option.

Insight page
PositiveValue54:30

Tyler Warren is presented as a viable waiver wire alternative to Dalton Kincaid in tight end-needy leagues; the source pivoted back to Warren after initially adding Kincaid in a 10-team league, suggesting Warren offers more consistent value than the unpredictable Kincaid.

Insight page

Tyreek Hill

PositiveSleeper38:11

Tyreek Hill is worth adding to your bench as a speculative end-of-bench guy, though the source won't spend much on waivers given uncertainty about his team destination and fantasy relevance. Last season's first four weeks showed 7.2 targets per game, 5.3 catches, 66 yards, and 13.4 fantasy points per game before his major injury. A lot has to go right for him to be fantasy relevant in 10-team leagues, but he could produce 130 yards and two touchdowns in weeks 6-17 and help win a league.

Insight page

Will Shipley

NegativeRole49:34

Will Shipley is being considered as a waiver option for the Eagles, but the source has limited faith in starting him. With Tank Bigsby out and Saquon Barkley's status uncertain, there is significant volume available, but Shipley would likely be the fourth running back option behind other candidates like Damian Pierce, Carson Steele, and Jaden Blue.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeInjury2:00

Zach Charbonnet is not going to play this week and may still be two to three weeks away from returning, based on Seattle's roster moves. The source notes that Charbonnet could return and take hold of the backfield enough to matter in 10-team leagues, but the addition of Joe Mixon and other backs suggests the backfield will remain crowded and unclear even when he returns.

Insight page
NegativeInjury48:33

Zach Charbonnet is out this week with no designated return date; the source would still add him off waivers if an open IR spot is available, but would prioritize Emmanuel Wilson as the immediate add for Week 5.

0:08And with access to over a thousand out-of-market games, you can watch them and the rest of the league.
0:13Holy hockey! That's more hockey to love for more fans who love it.
0:16The NHL's best on ESPN. Watch all season long on ABC, ESPN, ESPN Plus, and the ESPN app.
0:21You're in the 06010. Welcome to Fantasy Focus Football alongside Mike Clay and Field Yates.
0:25Good for both of you guys being ready and prepared for that intro.
0:29I was waiting to see if you reach down and touch your ears.
0:33I'm good this time. Fantasy Focus Football. I tried to do a little bit of the voice.
0:37Oh, you did? Yeah. Yeah, I was ready today.
0:40I checked my phone right before the music ended.
0:42I had my mic ready. I took an allergy pill before the show today, so hopefully I could hold up and speak today.
0:48What the problem was? Was it allergies yesterday? Yeah, certain times of the years.
0:52Why don't you guys get that too? Wait. Pollen and get a little congestion.
0:56But it's usually springtime for us to wing them.
0:58I don't know. I get it. I get it.
1:01Hit or miss. It's random. I think this is the thing.
1:04I know what it is. Clay eye is just susceptible to viruses is probably what the thing is.
1:09It could be. I was trying to weave in a joke like Mike is allergic to B.
1:14Robinson's after last night. We'll talk about that game.
1:16And I would like to formally issue an apology.
1:18Oh, wow. I'm preemptively announcing said apology because it comes once we get into our Monday Night Football Recap.
1:24Yeah, very excited about that. We got Monday Night Football Recap.
1:27We're going to dive into the waiver wire here and a bunch of other fun segments like we always pay off starts of the week and whatnot.
1:34But with that, let's get in. By the way, do you want to talk about the news of Joe Mixon getting signed by the Seattle Seahawks?
1:41We can mention it. Here's what I would say.
1:44You think it matters? And we mentioned it. No, here's where I think it matters.
1:48It's not that I think Joe Mixon has standalone value.
1:50It's that I felt like there was a chance.
1:53I don't know about a strong chance, but a chance that Zach Charbonnet could return and take hold of this backfield enough
1:59that he might matter in 10-team leagues. If there's a world in which you have Zach Charbonnet and Emmanuel Wilson and George
2:05Helani probably playing on passing down backs and Joe Mixon, because they didn't bring him to the practice.
2:10Joe Mixon's not going to go to Seattle's practice squad to sit there for the year and just play scout team.
2:16He went somewhere with the idea that he could probably play soon.
2:19And Jadarian Price is not a season-ending injury. You're going to have at least four backs that matter on the active roster in given weeks.
2:26It may be that yesterday was further confirmation that by far the most likely outcome for the Seattle backfield is it's a stay away.
2:32Like enjoy the Emmanuel Wilson ride you had this past week and probably will have again this week because Zach Charbonnet is not going to play.
2:39Because sooner rather than later, it's just going to be too many cooks in the kitchen.
2:44Yeah, we'll talk more about this backfield I think here in waivers.
2:47But I think at some point this year, assuming their top guys get back to health, it'll settle into two guys.
2:53I don't know if it's going to be Charbonnet and Price or Charbonnet and Mixon.
2:57Because look, maybe Mixon just gets cut loose. You know, he didn't play last year.
3:01Yeah. It's possible it doesn't work out. We see that all the time.
3:05So situation to monitor, but this is definitely a week-by-week proposition.
3:08By the way, a state of how banged up they are.
3:11They also are signing Robert Henry Jr. from the Commander's Practice Club.
3:14Oh, Bob Henry. Which is not that I'm like, hey, you know, he was a talented runner at UTSA.
3:19He had some things in his background. But they have to keep him on the roster for three weeks because of eligibility rules in the NFL.
3:26So for the next three weeks, they're carrying him.
3:29They're carrying Emmanuel Wilson and George Helani. Like maybe that's a sign that Zach Charbonnet, who's not going to play this week,
3:35might still be like two or three weeks away.
3:37So very cloudy backfield in Seattle will address Emmanuel Wilson's value in waivers.
3:41Hey, is there a cloudy backfield in Atlanta with the way that these two were used this last night, guys?
3:46Let's talk about the Falcons. Do you want me to do my apology right now or no?
3:51You know what field I do? Okay. All right.
3:53So you guys can flash the final score graphic because it goes hand in hand.
3:57I thought about doing a recap of that time a couple weeks ago when I went on.
4:02I wouldn't call it a rant, but I did have some thoughts on why on earth did the NFL schedule maker wake
4:08up really mad one morning and deliver us not one, not two, but three straight primetime games with the Atlanta Falcons.
4:14Thursday night football last week. Correct. Monday night football this week.
4:17Yes. And Sunday night football against the Ravens this upcoming week, by the way.
4:20I'm thinking to myself, really? The Falcons? I owe them an apology to the entire Falcons organization, to the city of Atlanta, to B.
4:27John Robinson specifically. Yes. My God, you guys aren't just a team that I enjoy watching.
4:31Like, you're one of the most enjoyable teams to watch in the NFL right now because you have an identity.
4:37That running game is absolutely off the charts. So I apologize to Atlanta and to the Falcons for doubting your squad.
4:43I can't wait to watch them now on Sunday night against the Ravens.
4:46And that mostly means the running game because B.
4:49John Robinson is preposterous. The 59-yard run at the beginning of the game last night, there's no way that Bijan Bijan Robinson
4:55is that fast when he's also not efforting at all.
4:57No. He didn't look like he was trying. It looked like he was jogging.
5:01Yes. And the next thing you know, he's 10 yards further down the field from any other player.
5:06How is this possible? Yes. It looked like when Mike is playing football with his daughters in the backyard and he's just so much faster than they are.
5:14No, not even that much faster. That's, yeah. No, no.
5:17They get me on a shoestring tackle. I can't get away anymore.
5:20He's amazing. He had only one catch last night for two yards and he still went for 27.7.
5:25We were having this conversation briefly before the show, re-litigating that number one overall pick.
5:29It doesn't really matter, right? We kept saying him and Jameer Gibbs, don't waste your energy on that decision.
5:34Waste your energy on your second, third, fourth, fifth, et cetera picks.
5:37Yeah. And Jameer has outscored him in three or four games and he is the number one scoring player in fantasy.
5:43Excuse me. Second highest scoring player in fantasy. Number one is Jackson Smith and Jigba.
5:47But it's not like Bijan has been anything other than brilliant.
5:50No, he's awesome. What a joy it is to watch Bijan.
5:53Yeah. He's been fantastic. Exactly what you said. Nothing more to add there.
5:57Although guys, he didn't even lead his team in touchdowns.
5:59He didn't even lead his team in rushing touchdowns.
6:02He wasn't even the highest scoring Robinson. No. There were better B.
6:05Robinsons on the squad. Yeah. The people who accidentally drafted Brian Robinson did okay.
6:09Yeah. Told you so. Did all right. I mean, you weren't starting him, but maybe in best ball or something.
6:14But yeah, 14 carries, 62 yards and three touchdowns for Brian Robinson.
6:18That one stung as some, you and I were going head to head with Alave and Drake London.
6:23And you, we were what, you were up three going into the night.
6:26You ended up beating me. But the Falcons scored 45 points and Drake London did not find the end zone.
6:32So I ended up coming up a little bit short in this one.
6:35But yeah. What is it now? Five, six, seven, eight rushing, two passing touchdowns for Atlanta since Michael Penix has come back.
6:41Amazing. So here's what I would say about the Falcons.
6:44Like Bijan's amazing. Brian Robinson, incredibly valuable insurance back.
6:46Obviously, he is a good player. Drake London, five for 94.
6:49This reminds me of what I said about JSN yesterday where I was like, man, it tells you how good JSN is
6:55that he goes for five for 76. And you're like, damn it.
6:59Drake London's awesome. Five for 94 is a good number for him.
7:02It just felt a little bit disappointing after the 194 yards he had last week.
7:06But for the Falcons, it is Bijan and Drake London.
7:09That's it. Because another quiet night there for Kyle Pitts to the point that Micah Parsons is tweeting, free Kyle Pitts.
7:15Last night. Three targets. Yeah, he wasn't even playing early on in this game.
7:18Yeah, they brought it up. It sounded like maybe a coach's decision.
7:22Yeah. I don't know what's going on. It's wild.
7:24He seems like you're watching him. You know there's been a lot of commentary on Marvin Harrison Jr.
7:29And there's just not much energy there. Like, I actually do see that from Kyle Pitts.
7:33He's like hyping up his teammates when he's scoring.
7:36Like, he's involved. But like, I don't know what's going on behind the scenes.
7:40By the way, one more note on Brian Robinson.
7:42You mentioned it's Bijan. It's London. Brian Robinson, not a guy you're running to the waiver.
7:47Why is he still, to your point, does not have standalone value?
7:50No, he had a three-touchdown game. That's not going to be sustainable moving forward.
7:54Or maybe I'm just trying to convince myself of that because you know what I did yesterday in one of my leagues?
8:00You dropped him. I dropped him for a Tyree kill.
8:02No! No, Michael! But I'm okay with it. I'm okay with it because, look, I'm not.
8:07You don't want to be spending on Brian Robinson.
8:09So next week, he's going to have seven carries for 25 yards.
8:13Correct. Yeah, he's going to. I can't wait for us to get a YouTube question that says, would you guys drop Brian Robinson this week for Tyree kill?
8:20It's very, he's very Jordan Mason-y is what I would think of.
8:23Yeah, yeah. Only rostered in 27% of leagues. But like you said, obviously a very valuable insurance back if this is the
8:30way they're going to utilize their running backs. How about the other side of this one?
8:34Let's talk about this game because there are actually like a few more things to take away.
8:39Yeah. Till Travis H. And returns. Sure feels like it's going to be the Alvin Kamara show.
8:43Sure does. Not that he was amazing last night as a runner, but he did have 23 rushing yards and a pair of rushing touchdowns.
8:50More importantly for our purposes, seven targets last night for Kamara.
8:53Tons of volume for Tyler Shuck. But with the way they play defense, I feel like that's going to be a fairly regular occurrence.
9:00Maybe not this week because they play the Vikings.
9:02But generally, the Saints defense is going to keep them in a lot of shootouts.
9:06So Kamara, the clear guy that is going to be the lead back in this backfield because I got to tell you
9:12guys, I don't, we don't understand the utilization for the Saints backfield.
9:15We haven't so far this season. Why is Kendrick Miller really playing for them even?
9:20I don't know. Hasn't been going well. Six carries, nine yards, 10 yards and three targets.
9:24I mean, it just has not been very good.
9:26But also like at Kamara's age, you can't run him into the ground.
9:30I mean, he's going to be limited. He actually left this game toward the end.
9:34I don't know if he's going to see. Did he leave the game again?
9:38He missed a little time during the game. I don't know where.
9:41He came back. Yeah. I'm sure he'll be fine going forward.
9:44But the point is like at his age, he's not going to be a 20 touch guy.
9:49So there's room for someone else. And it's probably going to be Kendrick Miller for the time being.
9:54He was terribly far behind him. Jamal Williams. Yeah.
9:56The truth is what it should be is when he's healthy, it should be the Travis Achan show.
10:01Of course. Like it should be. His Saints shouldn't have wavered on that from the jump.
10:05I don't know why they did. But it's a Kamara show.
10:08And then for the pass catchers, like Chris Olave, the guy's awesome.
10:12Like he just whatever, every week is going to be wide receiver six and you're not going to blink.
10:17Do we think Devon Vele has enough value to be a flex weekly?
10:20Or is it like it was a lot of late production in garbage time last night?
10:25What do you guys think? To your point, though, they're going to keep throwing the ball.
10:29It's going to go to three guys and he's one of them.
10:33So until Jordan Tyson's back, yeah, I think he's in the flex.
10:36I think now that we have bye weeks coming up, you're going to start having a smaller player pool.
10:41So I would be with Mike on that. My question is.
10:44We've seen all four games so far. Love that.
10:46Nine last night. And Tyson, by the way, did you guys see the update yesterday?
10:51I did. I was just going to bring that up.
10:53Fire away. Jordan Tyson, when we get, it's going to be a little bit longer than we had initially planned or we
10:59had talked about at the start of this season.
11:02So yeah, it's still weeks away. Yep. So we're in a spot where if you were wondering, hey, should I maybe try
11:08to sell high on Devon Valet before Jordan Tyson comes back?
11:11We have weeks until we get to that point.
11:13I think you just keep riding it as a potential flex option for your squad.
11:17That was the thought. I remember when the Tyson news came out, the thought was, at least this is what I put
11:23on social and Saints fans didn't like it, but I believe it's a week eight bye for them.
11:28Yeah. So week nine was probably the most logical target for them, which would put him right on track based on the latest report.
11:35By the way, we're going to get into this hopefully at some point this week, but the new look strength of schedule charts come out this week.
11:42I'm pumped to drop these. They're going to be really cool.
11:45It's awesome. But so far, Saints, just a little preview here.
11:48Fifth easiest for quarterbacks and receivers so far. 26th going forward for both spots.
11:52So should tighten up a little bit on them, which is something interesting to keep in mind.
11:57That could move Valet down a little bit, Valet down a little bit moving forward.
12:01But again, we'll get into that as we go.
12:03What a quagmire of a team they are. I did pick the Falcons last night.
12:07You guys may recall that. No big deal. Yeah.
12:10But this Saints team came in with big expectations and Tyler Shucks got a lot of numbers through four games, but it
12:16felt like, again, it feels a little bit like circumstantial stat production.
12:19They just kick themselves in the shin for the first half of these games, find themselves down big.
12:24And next thing you know, it's like, okay, Tyler Shucks got 286 passing yards.
12:28It looks good when you go to the ESPN.com stats page and you're like, wow, he's second to the NFL in passing
12:34yards through basically a quarter of the season. But don't feel like that offense is playing to expectation through the first four games.
12:40Who are you guys taking to win the NFC South based off what we've seen through four?
12:45Oh, man. Panthers, Falcons, both two and two. Saints one and three.
12:48Bucs oh and four. Not the Bucs. I wanted it to be the Bucs, but I'm writing the Bucs off.
12:54Okay. I guess the Panthers. I think so. I mean, Panthers.
12:57Oh, Falcons. No way. Yeah. Oh, man. If Penix keeps playing like this, it's going to be the thought.
13:02You know what's wild is they spent two first round picks on edge rushers last year and neither of them are a part of this team right now.
13:09And they're still holding down the fort defensively. Doing a great job.
13:13The offense is maybe Penix has just made the leap.
13:15There's a lot to like here. Yeah. You know what?
13:18Probably lean Falcons at this point. One last question before we move on from this one.
13:23Do you think that Mike gets more excitement out of buying Christmas presents for his children or coming up with the strength
13:29of schedule full screens that we're going to see later on this week?
13:32Well, which one like brings him. Do you want me to answer that honestly?
13:36Yeah, I will. The Christmas present thing. It's fun, but also it's stressful.
13:39It's taxing. Yeah, it's okay. All right. There's a lot of planning that goes expensive.
13:44So, yeah, I don't know. Yeah. Tough call. I'm still on this though.
13:47Yeah. Panther. Just like a machine. Can you give us one little preview?
13:51We have like one player you think benefits the most based off.
13:54I'm not ready yet. Okay. I'm not ready yet.
13:56Okay. I literally just put all this together this morning, so we'll save it.
14:00All right. I'm not ready yet. Not Tyler Shuck, apparently.

14:47Many people's first serious relationship didn't start with a kiss.
14:49It started with a kickoff. Or perhaps it was love at first hike.
14:53But unfortunately, many of these football lovers don't live in the same city as their team.

15:11We'll see you there. Alright guys, we're going to dive into Starts of the Week next.
15:16You know, we got a little bit of information though about a Starts of the Week punishment we had from last week.
15:22I'd like for you guys to watch this. We're out of time.
15:25Alright guys, well thanks to the corporate overlords, we are no longer allowed to do the beer mile, which was going to
15:31be a lot of fun for some people. It wouldn't have been fun for me, I would have done it, but it
15:37wouldn't have been a ton of fun. But they said no.
15:40They put the kibosh on it and said you are not allowed to do that anymore.
15:44And so I have to spin the wheel and do something else.
15:48Luckily for me, I get to stay late for work and do this while Field and Mike have already gone home.
15:53So that's great for them. We're going to head into the studio right now though.
15:58You got to push the button in order to make it work.
16:01Did you know that when the hair grows back on your leg, it also kind of hurts then too?
16:06So it's like a double punishment. I didn't know that.
16:09That's fun to find out. I really didn't know that.
16:11So anyways, here we go. Another wheel spin. All right, guys.
16:14Smelling salt! No! Guys! I care about what I put into my body.
16:18Can't you tell? Oh, this is going to be terrible.
16:21I have smelling salts right here in front of us.
16:23And I'm going to go through and because Mike is going to, someone else is going to have a spin the wheel.
16:29Either Mike or Field is going to have a thing.
16:32Oh, you just said. I'm going to go through and...
16:35Can we ask a couple questions before we do so?
16:38All of the lineups. Yeah. Can I ask you a question?
16:41Have you ever done smelling salts as a football player?
16:43Okay. Do you have any tips you want to give me?
16:46Well, so we used to... I used to... When I was working for the Patriots, I'm not going to lie to you guys.
16:53Hold on, Field. You dropped that. Just a second.
16:55No big deal. A name dropper. No, no, no.
16:58But seriously, when you're like an 18-year-old hanging around the players, and these guys are doing smelling salts, you think you're cool.
17:04You're like, I got this. And it strips, right?
17:06Yes. Aaron Rodgers still does them right before the game.
17:09You see them all the time. They're little cylinders, right?
17:12They look like really long, skinny pillows. You crack them, hit the ammonia.
17:15It's ammonia that's inside of there. And it just wakes you up real fast, and it gets you focused.
17:20It gets you wired. It lasts like 30 seconds.
17:23But for those 30 seconds, it's kind of cool.
17:25You're in it. Yeah. So do you have strips, or do you have...
17:29What do you have? I think it's not strips.
17:31This is just like salts inside of here. And so I'm going to open this up.
17:36I'm going to have a comparable effect. Yeah. It's not fun, but it's kind of a weird sensation.
17:41Well, I don't think that was the point. I don't think fun was the point of the punishment.
17:45What is the point if it's only 30 seconds?
17:48I mean, it's just like to get your brain focused.
17:51Then you let the adrenaline of the game kind of get it on.
17:54Or also, listen, you're getting smacked around. Sometimes it just wakes you up.
17:58Okay. Okay. All right. That's fair. All right, guys.
18:00Well, I'm going to read starts of the week and tell you how everyone did.
18:04I'm going to do a hit of smelling salts before I read every single lineup.
18:08So we're going to start with whose lineup first.
18:11I believe yours, Daniel. I'm going to start with mine.
18:14All right. My lineup first. Whoa. Oh, that is gross.
18:16That's all you had to do. Oh, I'm getting a little whiff of it over here, too.
18:21All right. I'll put the lid back on. My starts of the week.
18:25I don't mind it. I'm not going to lie to you.
18:28I'm going to say, quarterback, you are a sicko.
18:30Tyler Shuck, 15.9 fantasy points. I got bailed out by a touchdown late in that game.
18:34This might be the best starts of the week lineup all year.
18:38Jeremiah Love, 6.5. Terro and McMillan, 45.2. That was half of your points.
18:41And 22.4 points from Sam Laporta on the other side of that game.
18:45Total of 90.4 fantasy points. That was a good one.
18:48Well done. That was a good one. Well done.
18:50All right. I like how you're being punished while showing that lineup.
18:53Yeah. It's tough, right? Oh, that one was worse.
18:56That one was worse. I did more. Because the first time I took it a little easy, it really is.
19:01Field starts of the week. This one was trending in the right way.
19:05Marcus Mariota was not great. Unfortunately, he got banged up and left the game early.
19:095.34. Aaron Jones, 16.8. Chris Olave, 19.6. Another nice outing.
19:12And George Kittle, rumbling, bumbling, and stumbling his way to the end zone.
19:1517 fantasy points. 58.74 for the entire week. Way to go field with that one.
19:19Don't do it again. That Marcus Mariota, I feel like that Marcus Mariota one, I was worried when that happens.
19:25I'm like, God. Oh, you're not. Oh, yeah. It starts before it even begun.
19:29Because those are like three other guys at 16 plus.
19:31It's not bad. Is that safe to keep doing that?
19:34I don't know. I'm trying to see if it says.
19:37I think you're good on two. Don't do. Brief inhalation.
19:39Do not exceed 10 times in 24 hours. So we're good, guys.
19:43We're all right. You have seven more to go.
19:45All right. Best one. It really smells like cat urine.
19:48Like super unbelievable. Oh, and you have cats. Cat urine.
19:51So bad. People do this for fun on a football field?
19:54Okay. So counterpoint. How wired do you feel right now?
19:56I'm like, I'm going to be good to go for the show.
20:00But my gosh. All right. Here's Mike's lineup. Bryce Young, 21.46.
20:03That was good. Then Bucky Irving, 6.1. Nope. Then Josh Downs, 4.6.
20:06Nope. Then Darren Waller. I definitely talked Mike into that trick.
20:096.6 fantasy points. 38.76. I think Tedderall McMillan outscored your entire team.
20:12Didn't you do that to me once earlier this year, Mike?
20:15But I wasn't paying attention. Oh, okay. Gotcha. I have some excuse, though, that I could fire up.
20:20Yes. I'm sure that you do. I think what we talked about with that lineup is I went very matchup heavy.
20:26And I knew on paper, I remember talking about this last week, didn't look like the best squad, but I was thinking matchups.
20:32All about the matchups that did not work out for me last week.
20:36You want to hit? Do it. No way. I don't think it's kicked in anymore.
20:40No, I'm good. I don't think it's strong enough anymore.
20:43You don't think it's strong enough anymore? It needs like a refurbishing of them.
20:46Uh-oh. You lost me at cat urine. You want to try?
20:49I think he's saying it's not really that strong.
20:52Do you want to try it? Nope. It's not my punishment.
20:55What are you trying to do? Are you going to share my punishment with me?
20:59I might have to. If you get the right thing, then you will have to.
21:03All right. So, Mike Clay, you're going to spin the wheel for setting the worst lineup here in week four.
21:09What do you got, buddy? Mike, your punishment is going to be, and for those listening at home, That was a really nicely gentle spin.
21:15Oh, my God! Are you kidding me? That is so lame.
21:18Man, he whacks the leg into smelling salts, and you get safe?
21:22What a perfect spin. You know what you said?
21:24I took a nice safe spin, landed right on safe.
21:27Nailed it. I am so mad at it. I'm so mad at it right now.
21:31Are you kidding me? Do my smelling salts. No.
21:33I can't on principle now. I can't punish myself.
21:36Did you run a projection of, like, how much muscle and force you have to put in the net?
21:41Oh, my gosh. I'm so mad. Yes. Damn it.
21:44That's how it's done, folks. Right there. Okay? That's how it's done.
21:47Good process with the lineup and the football gods.
21:49So how about this? It's like... I am so sorry for Daniel.
21:53Let's just recap through four weeks what's happened to Daniel at the start of the week.
21:57First week, I lose. Yes. You get double punishment.
21:59We spin once. We get shared punishment. Yes. We spin it again.
22:03We get shared punishment. Then we get neck tattoos.
22:05Yes. Which for you is not really a punishment.
22:08But still, you had to take part in it.
22:10I had to do it. Right? Yeah. Second week, you lose.
22:13Third week, you lose. Fourth week, Mike loses and gets no punishment.
22:16Yes. Well, you both did smelling salts. Let's have a conversation with the start of the week.
22:21Seems rigged. Yes. I agree. How has Daniel failed you in the past?
22:25What have I done? How has he sinned, Father?
22:27Well, thank you, Field. I mean, in two of those four cases, you set the worst lineup.
22:32So that's just how it goes. Oh, my gosh.
22:34Let's talk about some long shots here. I did take a shot here with the Panthers tight end.
22:39Did not work out in Tommy Tremble. Field, I think you went with Alec Iomanor in this one.
22:44Yep. Didn't work out. Mike did another thing that we've been doing all year, though.
22:48You set a guy that actually played well just in the end zone.
22:52Yeah. Instead of getting scores, we're getting good fantasy plays somehow.
22:55Field played Kalief Raymond in one in a crush.
22:57We need to start saying start these guys as sleepers in fantasy or DFS.
23:01It's trended toward that. But we are burying the lead because producer Q.
23:04He thought about this one long and hard. Pick Tori Horton who got in the end zone, baby!
23:09Let's go! I'm not going to lie. Okay. So, like, really well done by Q because I don't exactly know what the thought process is for Tori Horton.
23:17Right? Like, Tori Horton wasn't really playing very much.
23:19It feels like every pass goes to JSN. Yep.
23:22And I guess the reality is that when you're drafting or picking players that are available in over 99.5% of leagues, there is no process.
23:29It's just good luck. So, nailed it by Q.
23:31Hopefully, he bet the end-of-time touchdown as well. He absolutely did.
23:34He did? Oh, let's go Q! Okay, Q! Q was in on it.
23:38All right. So, that was a lot of fun.
23:40All right. Wait, does that count? Do we move it down to two now?
23:44Or is it? It does count? Yeah, that counts.
23:47So, now you've got to be available in 98, 99.75%.
23:49So, 0.3 or under. Just 0.3 or under. That seems weird.
23:52I think so. Yeah. Okay. They're rounded on the site.
23:55Again, just like if you've been tailing these picks to hit twice in four weeks, it's a redonkey.
24:00Like, you'd be making money if you bet on all of the picks, right?
24:04Right. So, something to consider. Something to consider. All right.
24:07Let's talk about our Knockout League update really quick.
24:09And our buddy, unfortunately, Matt Bowen did not survive.
24:11Was knocked out in this one. Joe Burrow did him pretty good.
24:15But, unfortunately, Jamar Chase got banged up. Garrett Wilson did not play, unfortunately, very well.
24:19DeAndre Swift also had a tough one. And then he had a couple of goose eggs on the bench.
24:24Do you guys know that Matt Bowen, you guys know this, but America needs to know this.
24:29Matt Bowen's son, Grant, is like one of the top five high school recruits for football in the country.
24:34Yeah. I think we talked about that a few weeks ago.
24:37Between him and Marcus Spears, we have just prodigy children coming from these families.
24:41Well, also, like, your kids are going to have, like, they share DNA with the greatest athlete in Brooks School.
24:46That's true. That's a good call. You know what I mean?
24:49Yeah. That's a good call. Yeah. I'm hoping that college is free for my kids.
24:53Because there's a lot of them. Otherwise, I might be toast.
24:56I'll be doing this podcast until I'm 90 at this rate.

25:49Call 1-800-GRANGER, clickgrainger.com, or just stop by. Let's dive into the priority waiver wire ads this week, guys.
25:54We're going to start at the quarterback spot. You may have heard us have this story before.
25:59If you're playing the Detroit Lions, you might want to start the quarterback that's playing against them.
26:03Do it. Yes, do it. Jacoby Brissett taking on the Detroit Lions, available in 90% of leagues.
26:08Bryce Young actually scored the fewest points a quarterback has scored against the Lions this last week.
26:13He scored, what, 21.7? 21.5. 21.5. So four-string quarterbacks so far have been top 10 quarterbacks.
26:17You should grab Jacoby Brissett, not just off the waiver wire, you should put him directly into your starting lineup if you need somebody.
26:23Yeah, no doubt. 18.9 fantasy points per game last year.
26:26He hasn't been quite there so far this season.
26:2916.5. Then he's had two duds. 6.5 and 10.4.
26:31Also had a 25.6. And the week he actually got to 25, he required 52 pass attempts.
26:36So the production hasn't been quite as good. 5.4 yards per pass attempt efficiency has been down.
26:40I think the Lions could probably fix a lot of that.
26:43But, you know, I look back. I was kind of curious because Brissett's now at about a full season with Arizona.
26:4916 games now as their starter since taking over for Kyler.
26:5231 total touchdowns. Wow. Yeah, so he got the job done for most of last year.
26:57And he does have two passing touchdowns exactly in two straight.
27:00So he's trending the right way. And again, your Lions, most touchdowns allowed with 11 already through four games.
27:05So I'm with you. Great streamer this week. The chatter is starting to pick up about whether the team will eventually turn the keys over to Carson Beck.
27:12So I'm saying, like, why not do it now?
27:15It's clear this season is going sideways. Don't think it's going to happen in week five.
27:19And if Carson Beck does start in week five, even with that good of a matchup, having never played an NFL regular
27:25season snap before, would not feel nearly as good about the Cardinals offense.
27:29I agree. I think it's a ways down before they make a quarterback change.
27:33Maybe the trade deadline is where it becomes interesting if a team needs a quarterback.
27:37But remember, it's not just about the quarterback. It's also about the skill guys.
27:41And they have to get the ball to Michael Wilson and Trey McBride and Jeremiah.
27:45You know what I mean? So I think we have a little time on this one.
27:49Just a quick note. It does feel like Marvin Harrison Jr.
27:52to the Colts is starting to, like, percolate a little bit.
27:55Which, I don't know if that resurrects his fantasy value.
27:58But is that real or is that just because of the...
28:01I think it's starting to, like... His dad. Like, that's why people are bringing it up or it's a real possible...
28:06No, I think this is, like... I think there's a non-zero chance now.
28:10It's where I think we've graduated to. But there is plenty of pressure on that GM.
28:14So, Chris Ballard. So, you could see some moves.
28:17Yeah. All right. Let's talk about the rest of them because I think we should weave some really important news in here as well, Daniel.
28:24But give us your next priority ad. And if there's anything relevant news-wise, we'll talk about that too.
28:29Yeah, right now. And we kind of talked about this at the top of the show.
28:33But Emmanuel Wilson, if you needed somebody for this week with the way he played last week, would be the guy that we are looking at.
28:40And to reiterate, no Zach Charbonnet this week. Correct.
28:43No Zach Charbonnet this week. And we don't know when he's going to come back.
28:47Still hasn't been designated when we know he will be part of this offense.
28:51I would still add Zach Charbonnet off of waivers if I had an open IR spot.
28:55If I already had someone that I liked in the IR spot, I wouldn't add him.
28:59But I would definitely look at Emmanuel Wilson as the priority ad.
29:03And then we unfortunately found out for the Philadelphia Eagles, Tank Bigsby also got hurt.
29:07So, we're not sure what's going to go on with Saquon Barkley.
29:10We know Tank Bigsby is going to be out for a couple of weeks.
29:14Will Shipley, guys, as someone that you're looking at, how much faith would you have if you had to start Will Shipley?
29:20Mike shook his head no. I mean, there's a ton of volume available because name the Eagles fourth running back.
29:25Have you accounted for this? It's probably going to be Damian Pierce, I would imagine.
29:29But they also have Carson Steele. That's a name from the past.
29:33Carson Steele and Jaden Blue. So, they're the options.
29:35Two of those guys will be up this week, assuming Barkley's week-to-week is out.
29:39We know Bigsby is definitely out. So, my guess is it'll be Shipley.
29:42But this is a guy that's never had 10 carries in a game before.
29:46He's had some passing game involvement so far this season.
29:49I suspect he'll be the leader, but probably maxes out at half the carries.
29:53He's got a couple of targets as well. Yeah, I remember they're playing Jacksonville.
29:57They're allowing 2.8 yards per carry so far. One of the best run defenses in the league.
30:01We just want dump-offs. That's what Will Shipley does, though.
30:04He's a much better pass-catching back, I think. I think you said it quickly.
30:08So, just for those that maybe have missed it.
30:10Saquon Barkley is now week-to-week with the hamstring injury, which, you know, it's not specific.
30:14Like, could he play this week? I guess it's theoretically possible.
30:17I would say week-to-week. If someone is listed week-to-week, I pull them out of the projections.
30:22There's a reason they didn't say day-to-day. Not this week, but potentially as soon as next week.
30:26It did not look good for Saquon Barkley when he pulled up.
30:30And we've seen hamstring injuries cost players multiple weeks on plenty of occasions.
30:33Those would be the only two running backs that we're really looking at so far this week that are going to get
30:39starting runs, and that would be Emmanuel Wilson and Will Shipley.
30:42Anyone else that you guys like? I don't even really like Will Shipley, but he's just another one to add.
30:48I would add this to the Will Shipley conversation.
30:50The volume, I think, might be better than what Mike just mentioned, 50% or so of the snaps or total touches.
30:56I would also note, though, like not all touches and opportunities are created equally.
31:00They're going up against Jacksonville, which Mike just alluded to, and it is like the third-string offensive line he's going to play behind.
31:06In a struggling offense as it is, Lane Johnson will see he missed this past week's game due to personal issues.
31:12Cam Juergens, who is a player that they have been leaning on at center, is now in the concussion protocol.
31:17Landon Dickerson already placed on injured reserve. Daniel's taking smelling salts because he might have to be in there.
31:22I think I'm addicted now, guys. So it's a banged-up offensive line.
31:26They don't play with the fullback, you know, and so it's not like they have different ways to create running lanes there.
31:32It's kind of messy right now, Mike, for your Philadelphia Eagles.
31:35Shipley, I do think, needs to be added because running backs are so paper-thin, but his outlook relative to a guy stepping
31:41into a starting role is not that rosy. Yeah, it's going to be, it could be one week of Shipley, and it might not be very good.
31:48You know, you might not get to double-digit fantasy points, so don't overspend, is what I would say.
31:53I'm not going to go out of my way for Will Shipley unless I absolutely am desperate for an RB2 this week.
31:59And you might be with the injuries, and don't forget Ken Walker and Chuba Hubbard are on a bye.
32:04So you might need him. Because I was going to say to you, like, don't go crazy.
32:09It's not a great waiver-wire week this week, once again.
32:12And Jacoby Brissett only makes sense if you're somebody, like, if you've been starting the likes of Bo Nix or, I'm trying to think, like, Trevor Lawrence.
32:19Justin Herbert. Justin Herbert. One of my lowest-ranked quarterbacks this week.
32:22Who does May get this week? Yeah, Raiders. Drake May.
32:25That one's all right. That one's okay. That one's okay.
32:28But even, like, Jared Goff's a great. He's also a great streamer.
32:31Yeah, I'm just saying, like, yeah. I play him over Jalen Hurts.
32:34I played Jacoby Brissett as a good example, too.
32:37If you have, but if you've already, you know, like, the number of people that have a quarterback that aren't going to mess around with Jacoby Brissett.
32:44Yep. If you have Josh Allen, if you have Lamar, well, Lamar's uncertain.
32:47Yeah, we're in this conversation, though. That's probably some news we should discuss is that Lamar Jackson sounds unlikely to play this week.
32:54Yeah. So we'll talk about Stu Puntley and what that means for the value of Zay Flowers.
32:58That's kind of the only impacted player. If there's a silver lining of sorts of Lamar missing time, it's that Derrick Henry
33:04is still going to be startable, and the Raiders are a one-man passing attack that is a guarantee to be in your lineup.
33:11Mark Andrews on the periphery, but Mark Andrews hasn't exactly been lighting it up with Lamar.
33:15Zay Flowers has been. Yeah, he was—Lamar was one I couldn't read through the words.
33:19It was like something like, it's not a super long-term injury or— I can't remember exactly what the quote was off the
33:25top of my head, but I was like, does that mean— There's been subsequent reporting this morning from Ian Rappaport, which is—
33:31Let's see, let me get the exact terminology from Ian, which is— How many quarterbacks then while field looks this up?
33:37Oh, you got it. Lamar Jackson is dealing with a sprained ankle that gives him only an outside chance to play Sunday against them.
33:44All right, so he'll be out of the projections today.
33:46So Lamar Jackson out of the projections. Well, this is brand new.
33:50Yeah. It's like on the way into the podcast.
33:52Got it, got it, got it. We know we're going to be without Bryce Young and Patrick Mahomes.
33:57There's a good chance you don't want to start Jalen Hurts this week.
34:00You don't want to start Justin Herbert. There's a handful of guys that we would have had inside the top 10 that,
34:06like, now all of a sudden, Jacoby Brissett at least comes into the conversation.
34:10But I want to talk about some wide receivers, guys.
34:13Let's do it. Yeah, these are interesting. Kian Coleman.
34:16Kian Coleman and Dante Myers both—they had really nice games for their squads.
34:19Do you think that there was enough here that this is a potential investment opportunity for something more in the future?
34:25Yeah, well, I mean, worth noting that their opportunities— Yeah, exactly.
34:28That assisted Dante Myers. DJ Moore dealing with that shoulder injury.
34:31That assisted Kian Coleman. So, neither of those guys is a lock to play in Week 5, which means that both of
34:37these players, Dante Myers and Kian Coleman, are both at least a bet.
34:40Yeah, these are both if-thens. Yes, yes. That's a good way to put it, an if-then.
34:45Stole that from our guy Al, his Idenfeld. Yes.
34:47He used that all the time for DFS. Yeah, it's certainly an if-then.
34:51I mean, if the other guy's out, you can consider these guys, but that's it.
34:55I mean, Coleman has one catch for one yard and one catch for 37 yards in the two games Moore has played in full.
35:01The two he's been out, six for 63 and six for 116 in a touchdown.
35:06So, obvious if-then there. By the way, they're playing the Rams, too.
35:09So, even if Moore is out, Coleman is going to have his hands full here.
35:13The Rams are mid-pack in fantasy points to receivers, but that's due to six touchdowns.
35:17It's a little inflated. They've allowed the fewest passing yards this season, and the second lowest EPA against the pass.
35:22So, they've been really tough and only enough to a slow start.
35:26And as for Myers, yeah, he was terrific last season.
35:28Good stat line, seven for 82. Had five targets the week before.
35:32But again, we've talked about this. The problem with playing Miami is that you're not throwing the ball very much.
35:37You don't have to. Miami's allowed one touchdown and the third fewest fantasy points to wide receivers so far.
35:42Only Rasheed Rice has gotten to 11.5 points against them.
35:45He's the only one. So, that's a little bit dangerous, especially if T.
35:49Higgins or Jamar Chase are able to go in this game.
35:52Again, I'm not going to overspend on Myers. I'm more likely to spend up a little on Coleman just because he might actually be breaking out.
35:59Like, at some point, he might emerge as a guy we feel like is a flex option even with DJ Moore because Dalton Kincaid's going the wrong direction.
36:06And Khalil Shakir, we know he's not going to be used near the goal line.
36:11So, it's at least possible Keon Coleman's having a year three breakout.
36:14It's just a guy that you would keep on your bench.
36:17Adam Schefter tweeted yesterday, or maybe it was late Sunday night, that DJ Moore's shoulder injury was a re-aggravation of the prior one.
36:23It is not considered serious. Sorry, it is not considered long-term as of right now.
36:27Okay. Could that be that he is, you know, is he out this week?
36:31I would say not considered long-term right now means he could be out this week.
36:35I would think so. I agree. It's a toss-up.
36:38He's still in the projections as DJ Moore, but I try to be a little bit conservative early in the week, and then today we'll learn something.
36:45I was saying just if you're considering Keon Coleman on the waivers, and when Mike is saying spend up on waivers, I
36:51hope people understand, he means if you have a fab budget, a free agent acquisition budget.
36:55Yeah, or use your claim, yeah. I mean, I'm just saying I'm more likely to go after Coleman.
37:00And when I say spend up, by the way, maybe a couple bucks, you know?
37:04Like there's a difference between throwing $1 at a guy to fill out your bench and maybe going up, you know, I'll
37:10do $5 this week on Keon Coleman. I understand.
37:13No, I'm not saying $40 or 50%. Not everyone does leagues where you have fab, but more often than not, our leagues
37:19will have a waiver priority, and I get to a spot sometimes where when you have a high waiver priority, it's like,
37:25is this the week that I really want to use my number one claim on these guys, or do I want to
37:31save it for another week where there might be a better option?
37:34I'm not sure if I have number one waiver priority.
37:37Anyone's like screaming at me this week that I have to grab.
37:40Well, also it depends on whether your waiver priority sets each week, resets each week.
37:44Correct. Yes, exactly. Got to know your rules. All right, let's go on one more.
37:48Okay. Wide receiver spot. Is Tyreek Hill worth an ad?
37:51A speculative ad at the very end of bench.
37:54Would you drop Brian Robinson Jr. or Tyreek Hill?
37:56That's what I need to know. I will, you know what?
37:59As a make good, if you want Brian Robinson Jr.
38:02back, I'll add him off of waivers and you can trade me Bichon back.
38:06Okay. All right. I mean, one, your guy had more touchdowns than my guy, so that seems like an easy call.
38:11Yeah, look, I think Tyreek Hill is worth just adding to your bench.
38:15Again, I'm not going to spend a lot here because we don't even know what he has left, if he's going to
38:21be, if he's going to sign with the team where he wants him to go.
38:25What if he doesn't go to the Chiefs or somewhere else?
38:28I think he's going to. And what if he's still, what if, I do too.
38:32I think that's the most likely outcome, but may not even be startable in fantasy.
38:36Yeah. He might be a situational guy. I will say this, the last time we saw him, 7.2 targets per game, 5.3
38:42catches, 66 yards, 13.4 fantasy points per game. That was the first four weeks of last season before what was a major injury, obviously.
38:49So there's still a lot to learn here. A lot has to go right for him to be fantasy relevant, especially in 10 team leagues.
38:56But is it also possibly is 130 yards and two touchdowns in week six, week 17, and helps you win your league?
39:02Yeah. So that's why he's fine as a speculative end of bench guy, much like an insurance running back for the time being.
39:08I think that's well said, is that like end of bench, it's know your needs, know your roster, right?
39:13And as you look at players that are available on the waiver wire right now, how many of them have championship equity for your team?
39:20Right. And the answer is not that many. Tyreek Hill might not have any either.
39:24But if you had to take a guess of like, who's more likely to help me win a title with a strong second half push?
39:31Is it Dante Myers or is it Tyreek Hill?
39:33Tyreek Hill. So that's kind of how I calculate these things is like, if I'm going to really, if I'm desperate, if
39:39I'm one in three or oh and four, and I have to win just to keep my season afloat, then I can't
39:45use my waiver priority on Tyreek Hill. Do you know why Tyreek Hill is listed as out?
39:50Well, it makes him IR eligible in our game.
39:53Well, he's hurt. But he's a free agent. Like, are you going to be listed as out if you don't have a team to give you a designation?
40:00I guess so. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. I guess so.
40:03Yeah. By the way, I agree 100%. There's, that's the tricky part of fantasy.
40:06Sometimes sometimes you need to add someone because you need to fire them up for a week.
40:11Like maybe last week you picked up Bryson Tremaine in a 16 team league because you needed a wide receiver badly.
40:17And it was a great matchup, but you're not just going to leave him sitting on your bench now.
40:22Like you want a guy with more upside. I think kind of funny, just I'm going to give you guys a random
40:28name that kind of fits this bill. When I'm looking at, let's say I throw a guy in IR Sunday morning, right?
40:34He's ruled out. And I'm looking at waivers trying to find like a guy that fits that bill, a guy that could be a league winner.
40:41Yep. Seth McGowan. Right. Like guys like that are the guys that you just want to throw on there because if something
40:47happens to Jonathan Taylor, that's where everyone's going on the waiver wire next week.
40:51He will be the guy we talk. If Taylor was out for the season, he would be the only guy we'd be talking about today.
40:58Seth McGowan. You got again. They don't really have anyone else at running back and they might go acquire someone, but McGowan
41:04the next week might see 18 touches and they seem to like him a lot.
41:08He was a day three draft pick this year, but they seem to like him and he's the clear number two in a good situation there.
41:15So those are the kind of guys you want to fill out the end of your bench.
41:20It's not quite Alexander Madison behind Dalvin Cook, but Seth McGowan has a little bit of the Jonathan Taylor aesthetic to him
41:26that when he's in the game and gets a carry, I'm like, there we go, baby.
41:30More yards for JT. And then it's like, nope, that's Seth McGowan.
41:33My bad. I take him back. 28 versus 20.
41:36Last night, wasn't, isn't Brian Robinson 17 and he's 15.
41:39Oh, was he 15? Okay. All right. Then nevermind.
41:41I didn't like it. He still has the same size body as, as Bajon Robinson.
41:45I didn't like seeing that. Guys, let's take a couple of questions from the, the YouTube chat.
41:50If you don't mind, follow our buddy, Eric Moody at Eric and Moody everywhere on social media, hanging out with all the people here in chat with us.
41:57This first one comes from Peter Vasilik wants to know Matthew Golden or RJ Harvey at the flex.
42:02Golden. Come on. I think RJ Harvey, like the 10 targets is probably a mirage.
42:06I would agree with that. Yeah, definitely. Do you know Matthew Golden has like seven more targets than Christian Watson?
42:12I mean, his, he has consistently been in the 20 mid 20% target share.
42:16I mean, he's, he's rolling. I think you can make a case for Golden over Watson.
42:20I'm, I'm giving a slight edge of my rankings to Watson.
42:23Cause he has that upside and the scoring equity, but it's, I think you can make the case.
42:28It's getting close. Do you guys know many Broncos fans?
42:31Do I know many Broncos fans? Like what do Broncos fans feel about this offense right now?
42:35Yeah. Very. That's a good question. A lot of the teams like that this year.
42:40You're like, how? Yeah. You had Jalen Waddell. You still have an elite O-line.
42:43Yeah. Ben Moe Nix is year three. You still have Sutton.
42:46How? How is it worse? No idea. No idea.
42:49I mean, the only thing you can point to is the change really is the play caller.
42:53So hopefully that'll improve for them. Yeah. All right.
42:56Next question we have from our chat. Fully Baked wants to know, debating on dropping Jalen Hurts for Jacoby Brissett.
43:01Am I crazy? Okay. Pick up. Like there's, is there nobody on your bench that's...
43:06Would you roster three quarterbacks in order to... Okay.
43:08With one of them on a bye and one of them in a bad matchup?
43:12Absolutely. Okay. Yeah. I don't even know if Jalen Hurts is going to outscore Bryce Young the rest of the season.
43:18Totally. But again, I said this yesterday. I want to excuse some of Hurts because there's so many injuries.
43:23I mean, they're dealing with more injuries than they're getting really that's being discussed.
43:27So it's been rough. We started at the very beginning of the year talking about how the Eagles, and I'm excited for
43:33the rest of this week, they had a very easy schedule now that we're a month into the season.
43:38I'm excited to be able to re-look at it and see kind of where that falls for Jalen Hurts when we dive in later this week.
43:45That's a... I got to be honest with you.
43:48That's a tough one. When you say like dropping Jalen Hurts is one of those things that...
43:52The ones that you regret the most when you plant your flag on something is when it's that you're betting against the established superstar.
43:59Yeah. Even if there are real warning signs. I've been guilty of this throughout my career at ESPN, like being a year
44:05too late rather than a year too early to count out a team that you're like, no, I don't know, like just
44:11by default, they're still in the mix, right? I was with...
44:14I feel like when Seattle... And now they're back at the top, but like when they were still kind of hanging around
44:20with Russell Wilson at the end of his time in Seattle, I was like, no, I don't know.
44:25The Seahawks will find a way. They'll be there.
44:27Have had plenty of those. Remember the Patriots that last year that Tom Brady used?
44:31There are plenty of examples. And like, am I fully confident that Jalen Hurts is a top 10 quarterback the rest of the season?
44:38No. Am I sort of confident? Sort of confident.
44:40But that's a far cry from where I had been with Jalen every other year.
44:44If this question in some ways feels outlandish and it could make you look ridiculous if you drop Jalen Hurts and he
44:50gets it going so you can have one bite at the apple against the Lions with Jacoby Brissett.
44:55I think that... But my gut is telling me there's got to be somebody else in your roster that's more dropping than Jalen Hurts.
45:02Yeah. I think so. Maybe for now. I think there's also a real chance that...
45:06Remember, Jalen Hurts has never put up huge passing numbers.
45:09He's been relying on that elite rushing. If he doesn't have that, is he just like a...
45:13From a fantasy perspective, like a Kyler Mariota sort of fantasy producer?
45:17He might be. He might be... He might be from a real life perspective too.
45:21He might be a fringe QB1 going forward in fantasy if he's not putting up those elite passing numbers.
45:26I will say this. Again, tipping this a little bit, but the schedule still looks really good for the Eagles moving forward.
45:32The playoff schedule is brutal, but over the next few months, it's still pretty late.
45:36All right. I think I agree with Field. I would try not to drop Jalen Hurts, but I think we will all
45:42have Jacoby Brissett probably ranked ahead of Jalen Hurts this week in our Week 5 rankings.
45:47All right. One more question here. Roddy wants to know, do we hold on Emeka Abuka?
45:51Are we looking for trades? If you're trading right now, you're trading too low, right?
45:55Yeah. Exactly right. That's the problem. Bench, not drop.
45:57Yeah. Yep. You really just have to hold... Just hold.
46:00That's it. I just looked for this week. If he comes back, maybe they get it rolling and he's back in the
46:06top 20 conversation, but right now he should be on benches.
46:09I have trade advice that's in a vacuum. It's not specific to this or just in general, because I think we're starting,
46:15you know, now that this season has a bit of a sample size, you're starting to see some people want to move and shake a little bit.
46:23But the best thing that you can do for me with trades is be fair from the jump.
46:28Yeah. Like, to get a good player, you probably have to give up a good player.
46:32To get a great player, you might have to give up two awesome players or two very good players.
46:37But these chemically imbalanced trades just come across as disingenuous and it's like, do you want to do business or not?
46:43It sucks, right? Like, it sucks when you have to give away a good player, but like, you're not going to be
46:49able to hoodwink somebody into giving them like, dude, like, I'm telling you, like, I really do think you should be giving me Jonathan Taylor.
46:56You know what, O'Field? You might be able to do that, but don't be that person in the league that preys on
47:02the people that don't have as much knowledge because there's always a handful of people.
47:06I feel you. So, but let's assume like leagues where like people are all kind of like generally invested.
47:11Like the idea of being like, listen, Jonathan Taylor for Terry McLaurin and DK Metcalf, like, let's make a deal.
47:16Right? Like, is that really? Like, that's, I mean, that's going to be what gets a Jonathan Taylor trade done.
47:22Probably not. Probably not. So I probably want something more for that.
47:25Yeah. You, of course you want something more. You probably want, you know, a really good running back and a wide receiver for Jonathan Taylor.
47:32I will say there's nothing worse than making a trade offer and it's immediately accepted.
47:36Just like, Oh, did I, did I listen too much?
47:39Did I overpay? I mean, we were, you know, we're going to be more thoughtful with our offers.
47:44So that's not really something we're going to be too worried about.
47:47If we make an offer, obviously we feel like it's fair to us, but in general, it's just like, Oh, maybe I,
47:53maybe I gave up a little too much if they hit the, that was too quick.
47:57I've been there on the other direction where I get an offer and I'm like, I can't like, how do I get in and accept?
48:04Say yes. We wanted to have them in a dynasty league in this off season where someone offered us their 2027 first rounder for pick 1.1 this year.
48:12This was before it was, it was late last season.
48:15It was during the season. Like, yeah, we'll take the guaranteed 1.1 a year earlier.
48:19And we, I couldn't, couldn't get faster. And we of course took Jeremiah love.
48:23Yeah. Yep. All right, let's do it. We're going to dive into a new segment here, guys.
48:27We got a month into the season. We got a little bit of a history now that we can look back on
48:33with these players, a little bit of a sample size.
48:36I'm bringing some blind box scores to the table.
48:38I know who these players are. Mike and field do not, but there were some things that I thought were noticeable when
48:44I looked through the first month of the season.
48:47Okay. And then we're just going to discuss what we think about these players afterwards.
48:51So I'm going to give you guys player one from a blind box score.
48:55You can see it on the YouTube feed. If you're watching from home, first player four catches for 40 yards, 10 targets
49:01in week one for eight fantasy points, four for 27 and nine targets and 6.7 in week two, three for 31 and a touchdown.
49:07Only five targets though in week three and then five for one 15 on nine targets in week four for 16.5 fantasy points.
49:14One of the things that stands out to me there guys.
49:17And the reason why it was so big was the number of targets.
49:20I mean, nine plus targets in three of four games here.
49:23Do you think you know who this player is?
49:26I do. I'm a sicko. I don't. I, my thought was Casey Concepcion, but there's no carries there.
49:31So it's not him. He's wide receiver 10 in targets, wide receiver four in routes run and wide receiver one in snaps played.
49:37It's also, do you want me to give him my guess?
49:40Um, yeah, you can. He's also wide receiver one in muscle distribution.
49:43It's DK Metcalf. Oh, this is in fact DK Metcalf.
49:46Good call. When you look at this, is there any reason to be a little bit more optimistic about DK Metcalf's volume
49:52with us not seeing Michael Pittman materialize the way that Mike and I hoped he would?
49:56At least we talk about volume being king. This isn't that kind of an offense where Aaron Rodgers necessarily brings you a
50:02ton of excitement with what he brings to the table.
50:05But would you say no to nine plus targets?
50:08Is there something more here to DK Metcalf than what we're seeing?
50:11Um, here's what I would say is that in back to back weeks, Aaron Rodgers has had a yards per attempt.
50:17Yep. I think even an air yards per attempt.
50:19Oh, guys. Over 10 yards. Yeah. Wow. Aaron Rodgers is being much more aggressive on the field right now.
50:24That bodes very well for DK Metcalf. It sure does.
50:27For the limitations he may have is amongst the best deep ball threats of the last, what, 25 years in the league?
50:33Yeah. He's an exception. He's a rare deep ball threat.
50:36Yeah. Has the Colts this week. Top 30 play.
50:38Should be in lineups, I would say. Only wide receiver 32 in fantasy points, but wide receiver 10 in targets.
50:44I'm assuming there are more expected fantasy points on tap there.
50:47When you look at the Steelers wide receiving core, though, honestly, DK Metcalf is actually second on the team behind Roman Wilson.
50:53Yeah. Who barely played last week, by the way.
50:55I believe his target share was 30%. So, Roman Wilson's still very clearly third or sometimes fourth in line, too, because Jeremy Bernard's getting mixed in.
51:02We'll see if that number goes up for now, though.
51:05Wilson not startable. Metcalf is. And obviously, Pittman borderline rosterable.
51:08But I'm going to write about him for the playbook this week.
51:11I'm optimistic. Or I'm hopeful they'll get him going at some point.
51:14But so far, so bad. I would drop Michael Pittman for Jacoby Brissette if I also had Jalen Hurts.
51:19Yeah. I agree with that. I actually have a league in which I put that waiver claim in literally this morning.
51:25You did not. No, I promise. We have a very short bench.
51:28And so the options are limited. Can I ask, is the point of this, like, once we see the blind box score.
51:34I just want to talk about it. And just, like, you think sort of you're assessing up or down.
51:40Up or down. Yeah. After the first month of the season.
51:43We all agree going in the right direction. And I would have said the opposite.
51:47I would have, because Mike and I were very into Michael Pittman.
51:50One of the things that we saw from Aaron Rodgers earlier this, or last season, was he just wasn't throwing the ball deep.
51:56Now, after the first month, with the kind of volume that he's getting, and Aaron Rodgers pushing the ball downfield, I think
52:02there's a little bit more excitement around DK Metcalf than we did, than we had to start the season.
52:08I'm just hoping with Pittman, because remember, five straight years of just heavy usage and production in Indianapolis, it doesn't make sense
52:14for them to acquire him, have him play basically all the snaps and run all the routes and just not throw at him.
52:20I'm hoping there's a little bit of, remember, he was out week two, like Rishi Rice to him, where maybe he's just
52:26not there yet, and he's not being featured in the game plan, and then that'll change as the season goes on.
52:32If not, I don't know what they're thinking. I don't know why they acquired him.
52:36Next four weeks are Indy, Tampa, New Orleans, and then a bye.
52:39So they've got a nice little schedule there for DK Metcalf coming up.
52:43All right, here's another guy they want to throw up here.
52:46A blind box score through the first month of the season.
52:49This player. Oh, I know this one. Five for 130 and 18 points.
52:52Seven for 95 and a touchdown. 22 and a half points.
52:55And then two for 38, 3.8, and one for seven here in week four.
52:59Yeah, I got this one. I'm going to let you, I mean, you're going to have to hold on then.
53:04Let field stew for a second. Give me a moment here.
53:07This player. I believe I'm writing. Yeah, I am.
53:10This player leads his position in the average depth of target.
53:13Okay. I keep giving you hints. He's still a lineup lock.
53:16Writing about him in the playbook because he's trending the wrong direction.
53:19He is trending the wrong direction. Went into like the sixth round, I would say, by the end of draft season.
53:25Totally flummoxed by who this is. He's one of his teammates might be getting traded soon.
53:2977% of his targets came when he was lined up at the wide receiver position.
53:33That is one. He was shadowed half the time last week.
53:36Dalton Kincaid has been so bad. What? That's. Oh, my God.
53:39I was wrong. Who did you think it was?
53:42I was so confident that I was right. Wow.
53:44Parker Washington. No. Oh, wow. It was like it's like the same thing.
53:48Oh, my. I was so confident. Guys. Why didn't you stop me from giving all them terrible hints?
53:53I'm just I'm letting you do that. This is you're the one that wants to talk about it.
53:58I don't know what you have the answer. I do have the answer.
54:01Dalton Kincaid. Wow. Trending the wrong direction, guys. I got to look at this now.
54:05Are we in a spot now where you're looking at Dalton Kincaid?
54:09Don't go too far on that one. Yeah. And you say to yourself, we thought we had something.
54:14Yeah. And now where it's like, shoot, everything that we thought this is just Dalton Kincaid from last year and the year
54:20before and the year before is is that where we're at through the first month of the season?
54:24Yeah. Unfortunately. Yes. And I was a member after week two.
54:27I was like, this could be the breakout breakout football.
54:30Yes. And that would instead it's like it'd been an outbreak of sadness and disappointment for Dalton Kincaid.
54:35So what do you do here? Because that's, I think the question that people that either added Dalton Kincaid or maybe the
54:41very rare people that drafted Dalton Kincaid is if you added him, are there options that you would turn to instead?
54:47Like go to waiver wire. No. Right now. No.
54:49No. Not if he's the guy you're set on, but like in the FFC league, which is, you know, 10 team league,
54:55I had Tyler Warren and then I picked up Dalton Kincaid so I could just go back to the well with Tyler
55:01Warren, which is what I did last week. I think that's a good example of sticking with Tyler Warren.
55:07I just don't know that given some of the injuries and just given the fact that there have been a couple of
55:13players who haven't come close to realizing sort of the potential we hope for them coming into this season.
55:18Yep. I think Dalton Kincaid just fits into that big old bucket of yo-yo players.
55:22Usable-ish items. Yeah. I mean, I was obviously terribly wrong on that, but one thing that was accurate that I said is
55:28that I did write about him for the playbook.
55:30So the problem when I was looking at it was I was like trying to figure out a rhyme or reason for what has happened.
55:37And I don't really have one. I mean, week one, the playing time was there.
55:41Week two was Detroit. I mean, you can excuse it on that.
55:45DJ Moore got hurt though. But the last two games, I don't know.
55:48He's not playing as much. He's not here as productive.
55:51I don't know. It still feels to me like this offense is like what we saw from the Packers last year, where
55:57it's just like one week it's going to be Keon Coleman.
56:00One week it's going to be Dalton Kincaid. One week it's going to be Dawson Knox.
56:04Or what we've seen from Kincaid his whole career so far.
56:07It's just like maybe it just is what it is.
56:10You're guessing on which week is going to be the week that he smashes.
56:14So unfortunately, probably not the guy that you hoped after the first two weeks.
56:18But we'll see whether or not we keep starting up here as we dive into the rankings.
56:22I know the last two for sure. All right.
56:25Well, yeah, I know one of them now. Last two we have.
56:28It's a little bit of a back-to-back. We're going to see which wide receiver would you rather have.
56:33These are the season stats. 28 targets, 18 receptions, 225 receiving yards for 40 fantasy points.
56:37On the left side, right side, 26 targets, only two less.
56:4016 receptions, two less. 228 receiving yards, only three more.
56:43And two touchdowns for 51.1 fantasy points. All right.
56:46So the reason why I know who both these players are is because you gave us, or at least our rundown has
56:52the game-by-game outlook for these two players. Correct. I think if you were just reading the information or watching the information, that
56:58Daniel gave you a moment ago, when you've got a guy who was drafted in the top three rounds without a touchdown
57:04so far this season, there's sort of like one guy that's not like the others.
57:08And who would that player be? I'm spacing on it.
57:10I don't know. Really? Yeah. I like it. Oh, yeah, of course.
57:14Right? Yes. Okay. Yeah. George Pickens is one of them.
57:16And the targets have been there for the most part.
57:19Like, not down, but not terrible so far. George Pickens has six targets, eight targets, 11 targets, and then three targets this last week.
57:26So not terrible. But has not found the end zone.
57:28Parker Washington, though, is a different conversation. Yep. This is Parker Washington's last month.
57:32And by the way, it's pretty similar to Kincaid.
57:35It's just not quite as bad in that third game.
57:37Five for 83 and a touchdown on six targets for 19.3 fantasy points.
57:41Huge week one. Seven for 98 on 12 targets in week two for 16.8 fantasy points.
57:45And then week three, three for 40, a touchdown, but only five targets, 13 fantasy points.
57:50And then week four, one catch for seven yards on three targets.
57:53So he's had six or fewer, Parker Washington, six or fewer targets in three of his four games.
57:58That's not like the strong end wide receiver two that we've kind of been billing him as in this offense.
58:03Okay. So I think there are a couple of ways to qualify this.
58:07Yeah. Why is this happening? Well, so the first two games of the season for Jacksonville actually were competitive.
58:12Yes. Well, the first, you know, like they had to throw the ball a little bit, especially in that second game against Denver.
58:18Yep. Third game against the Patriots. They waxed the Patriots 35 to six.
58:22Yep. He scores a touchdown, but there was also a sequence where if my memory has this play by play, totally correct.
58:28It was in the like, like deep goal line, like five yard line target for Parker Washington, incomplete pass target for Parker
58:34Washington, incomplete pass target for Parker Washington, touchdown. Called back because of penalty, very next play target for Parker Washington, touchdown.
58:40He scores last week. Um, so that, that like those five targets in a game in which the Patriots were getting like there just wasn't that much volume.
58:47Yep. Trevor Lawrence threw 23 passes last week and Parker Washington, this wouldn't have totally changed the narrative, but at the end
58:53of the game, it was a seven yard catch that he was like half an inch away from turning into a 40 yard catch.
59:00Um, some of the first read stuff, if you buy into first read metrics, it's really strong for Parker Washington.
59:05Trevor Lawrence is playing awesome. Yeah. Parker Washington is awesome.
59:08And I think Mike, you don't, you mentioned this on Monday.
59:11He got DJ Turner. Yeah. Half of his routes were against CJ Turner.
59:15They had Turner shadowing him and all of his, I believe a hundred percent of his perimeter routes were against Turner.
59:21So you, I think I feel pretty good about Parker still me too.
59:2413 plus and three games so far. He is a 26% target share.
59:28Offense is very good to your point. I mean, by the way, they're playing the Eagles this week.
59:33They've allowed 19 plus fantasy points to three different receivers in their last two games.
59:37So it's, you know, people have been, or receivers have been productive against that defense recently.
59:41So not really sweating this one too much. Which one would you rather have rest of season?
59:46George Pickens or Parker Washington? Probably still Pickens. Oh man, that's close.
59:49I kind of want to look at the projections.
59:51Pickens is, so. So, I thought Washington. Pickens offers more upside in case of potential injury to a teammate.
59:57Yeah. Right? Parker Washington is just, I still think the clear wide receiver one of his squad.
60:01It's just, is there as much upside to his game as George Pickens potentially has?
60:05I have Washington a little bit ahead. 17 and 22.
60:08Do you really? Wide receiver 17. 17th and 22nd in the projections going forward.
60:12Yeah. I mean, and by the way, I'm still optimistic about Pickens.
60:15I like both of those guys. But I still think he'll be startable.
60:19I like both. I think they're both wide receiver twos, but I'm buying on Washington a little more.
60:24Pickens has started slow. If he had just found the end zone in one of these games, I think it would feel
60:30different when you look at this box score. And that's going to eventually come to fruition.
60:34So here's, I think, a way of describing the difference.
60:37Here's an important dynamic in play here for these two guys specifically.
60:40Is, would you say you're more frustrated or concerned?
60:43Frustrated. Right. And it's because it sounded like a little bit more of concern on Parker from you and a little bit more frustration.
60:49That's a good segment idea. Frustrated or concerned. Do you get what I mean, though?
60:53Yes, no. I'm not concerned about Parker, but I wanted to walk through the exercise of his six targets, five targets, three
60:59targets, which is what we did based on how the game script worked out.
61:03So you're saying the potential sell high? No. On Parker Washington.
61:06All right. I would not sell high. I would hold Parker Washington.
61:09Got it. Yeah. I like that. Future segment idea right there.
61:12It's like, I'm not mad. I'm disappointed. Yes. Like that.
61:15Exactly. It's different. How many times have you had that conversation with your parents growing up?
61:19I had to tell them a couple times I was not mad, but disappointed in them.
61:24Yeah. You're right, Fields. Sorry, Mama Dopp. So it actually hurts more than it grows back?
61:28Oh my gosh, guys. I had no idea. It has to go through the skin and then it's all prickly.
61:34I'm like a little cactus. It's not fun. Well, you could just keep shaving it.
61:38Do you want us to wax it again for you?
61:40No, Michael. That's it. Isn't there some cream called Nair?
61:43Yes. It rubs off hair? It does. I got a feeling that if it just rubs the hair off, it might not be good for your body.
61:51And I do care about what I put into my body, guys.
61:54So with that being said, thank you for hanging out with us.
61:57Shout out to the smelling salts. Where'd you get those?
62:00I can't. I don't know. Locals Pharmacy? Yeah. All right.
62:03I think it was a farmer's market. That's going to do it for us today, guys.
62:07Thank you for hanging out with us. For Mike Enfield, we'll be back tomorrow diving into the week five ranks.
62:12Don't forget to love each other and be kind to yourself.
62:15You deserve it. We'll see you guys tomorrow. Peace!
62:18You're in the 06010.
