Aaron Jones

NegativeMatchup20:23

On lineup locks for Vikings-Saints game, but Vikings defense has allowed fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs through four weeks; only Ollie Gordon reached 13 fantasy points against Minnesota this season.

Insight page
NegativeUsage40:00

Touched the ball a bunch in Week 4 against Miami Dolphins when Vikings ran the ball a ton; context for understanding Vikings' run-heavy approach under Kyler Murray.

Insight page
NegativeRole42:19

Aaron Jones is part of Minnesota's offensive arsenal that Express Delivery believes has the pieces to move the football and score points against New Orleans in Week 5.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup58:12

Express Delivery recommends Aaron Jones as a flex play for Week 5 against the Saints, who have allowed the most fantasy points to running backs. Jones has strong volume and an excellent matchup for both DFS and season-long formats. However, Express Delivery notes this is likely one of the last weeks to utilize Jones at this volume level, as Jordan Mason is expected to return after Week 5 (with a potential bye in Week 6), which will significantly reduce Jones's touches and value going forward.

Insight page

Aaron Rodgers

PositiveMatchup59:15

Express Delivery ranks Aaron Rodgers one spot ahead of Sam Darnold for Week 5 streaming, citing a much better matchup against the Colts. Looking ahead, Rodgers has favorable matchups over the next two weeks (Tampa Bay and New Orleans after Indy), making him a better multi-week streaming option than Darnold. Rodgers is pushing the ball downfield aggressively and could provide enough upside to be a QB2 option, though he won't add significant rushing value. When Caleb Williams returns from IR, Rodgers should be dropped.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

NegativeInjury38:08

Did not practice yesterday due to back injury (not knee injury); knee injury briefly sidelined him Monday night; expected to play.

Insight page

Blake Corum

NegativeRole63:33

Express Delivery uses Blake Corum as an example in a flex spot strategy discussion, illustrating how playing a Thursday/early-game player in flex instead of their natural position could prevent you from pivoting to Corum (or another late-game option) if an injury occurs to your primary player.

Insight page

Bryce Lance

PositiveSleeper54:29

Express Delivery identifies Lance as a deep-league sleeper with three specific reasons: (1) the Saints are determined to give him shots weekly despite 0.1% roster rate; (2) Tyler Shuck is one of the most aggressive QBs in the NFL and will take hits to deliver downfield; (3) the Vikings are the blitz-happiest team in the NFL, forcing man-to-man coverage where Lance's elite speed creates explosive play potential. Express Delivery is comfortable with Lance even if it's just one catch, as long as it goes for a touchdown, and specifically mentions a potential 62-yard touchdown scenario.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

NegativeUsage16:00

Bucky Irving had 16 carries for 61 yards last week but zero targets, which is concerning. While he has enough rushing volume and talent to warrant starting, the lack of passing game involvement is problematic. The Buccaneers' offense was inefficient with Jalen Daniels (19 of 27, 148 yards, 5.5 yards per attempt, 8 carries for Daniels), limiting Irving's upside.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

NegativeProjection23:15

CJ Stroud's 23.1 fantasy points against Dallas last week was only his fourth-best fantasy game over his last 39 games (since Week 1 2024), illustrating poor fantasy production; while he's top-8 in passing attempts, completions, and yards, game script has been a huge factor with the Texans trailing 71% of the time (fourth-highest in NFL); against Tennessee, no quarterback has hit 19 fantasy points, and Express Delivery does not view Stroud as a viable streamer going forward.

Insight page

Cade Otton

NegativeUsage17:00

Cade Otton had 13 yards on four targets in Week 4, showing some involvement but limited production in the Buccaneers' inefficient passing game.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveMatchup9:05

Carnell Tate has an easy strength of schedule for wide receivers the rest of the way, with upcoming matchups against Houston, Cleveland, Jacksonville (twice), Dallas, Washington, and Detroit—all teams that have been generous to wide receivers so far.

Insight page
NegativeProjection22:34

Carnell Tate is a lineup lock and is now a full-on wide receiver two, not just a flex play, based on his escalating target share (28%, 25%, 42% over the last three weeks) and the Texans' matchup against Tennessee, where four straight opposing WR1s have scored 18+ fantasy points (Keenan Allen 18.3, DJ Moore 21, Jamar Chase 26.5, CeeDee Lamb 41.3); only concern is lack of end zone targets (one all season).

Insight page

Chris Olave

NegativeInjury37:59

Listed as rest on injury report with speculation about possible underlying injury; expected to play Sunday against Vikings despite uncertainty.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeProjection31:30

Chris Rodriguez is not recommended as a start; Express Delivery believes he would need to replicate last week's performance of a 20+ yard touchdown run to be viable, indicating limited upside without scoring.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeMatchup8:00

Christian McCaffrey faces a difficult remaining strength of schedule for running backs. The 49ers have a mid-pack schedule so far but it gets tough ahead with matchups against the Commanders (good against RBs), Atlanta, Minnesota, Seattle, the Rams, and the Chiefs. However, McCaffrey's extensive involvement in the passing game mitigates some of this concern.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

PositiveRole14:30

Dak Prescott gets his all-pro guard Tyler Smith back tonight against Tampa Bay, a team that has just six sacks and cannot pressure the quarterback. This should give Prescott plenty of time to throw and support his passing game.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

NegativeProjection34:00

In a rest-of-season comparison, Debo Samuel is ranked behind Denzel Boston; Express Delivery leans toward Boston due to the Browns offense trending upwards and Boston's growing role potential, while Debo has had only three games over 15 fantasy points and could eventually lose touches when John Stribbling returns.

Insight page
NegativeValue60:37

Express Delivery uses Debo Samuel as an example of a decent receiver you should not drop in order to stream a backup quarterback. In a 10-team league, dropping Debo to pick up Aaron Rodgers as a streaming option over Sam Darnold is not worthwhile, as you'd be sacrificing too much bench depth.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveBreakout34:00

Denzel Boston is preferred over Debo Samuel for rest of season; Express Delivery sees growing role potential and the Browns offense trending upwards; Boston is ascending and looks like the real deal, with a high-end outcome comparison to Drake London through four games, though there's uncertainty about whether he'll settle in as a T. Higgins-type player (boom-bust with touchdown dependency) or something more consistent.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveInjury21:15

Devonta Smith is expected to miss the Eagles-Jaguars game in London; he did not participate in practice but was present, suggesting his absence will open up target opportunities for other Eagles receivers.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveProjection14:00

George Pickens is projected to score tonight against Tampa Bay. He has just one end zone target through four weeks despite his elite talent, making a touchdown likely given the matchup. The Buccaneers have allowed the fifth-highest completion percentage and have just six sacks, giving Dak Prescott (who gets Tyler Smith back) plenty of time to throw. Pickens is ranked as WR16, three spots higher than consensus.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper55:36

Express Delivery mentions Pickens as a potential parlay partner with Bryce Lance in a deep-league touchdown-scorer contest, suggesting Pickens might be a better bet than Lance for scoring upside.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveRole2:18

If Malik Nabers is unavailable against Washington, Isaiah Likely would likely become the focal point of the Giants' passing game in what the source describes as a great matchup for the tight end.

Insight page
NegativeRole43:43

Isaiah Likely is mentioned as part of the Giants' offensive weapons in the Week 5 matchup against the Commanders.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeInjury4:00

Jamar Chase is going through the concussion protocol and may be cleared for this weekend, but remains uncertain. He is currently in projections pending Friday's injury report designation.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

PositiveValue38:57

Express Delivery's pivot option at QB this week; added off waivers as a replacement for Tyler Shuck in Week 5.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeProjection19:35

Jalen Hurts has scored under 16.5 fantasy points in three straight games and under 13.5 fantasy points in back-to-back games, placing him outside the top 12 at the quarterback position heading into Week 5 against Jacksonville.

Insight page

Jalon Daniels

PositiveProjection16:15

Jalen Daniels' Week 4 performance was inefficient: 19 of 27 passing (fine completion percentage), only 148 yards, one touchdown to Kenny Gainwell, and two interceptions. His average depth of target was just 4.2 yards, indicating a very short-range passing game. He also ran 8 carries for 55 yards, which is a lot of plays for a low-volume, inefficient offense.

Insight page
NegativeRole18:28

Jalen Daniels is a good story as an undrafted player who won the number two job and is starting this early in the season, though the hosts note it's a positive narrative without making specific fantasy projections.

Insight page

Jauan Jennings

NegativeUsage42:05

Jawan Jennings has been quiet this season so far, limiting his fantasy relevance despite being available as a passing-game option for Minnesota.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveInjury2:27

Jaden Daniels was upgraded from DNP to practicing on Wednesday, a positive sign for his availability against the Giants. The Commanders have not added a veteran quarterback and Marcus Mariota will not play, making Daniels' return to practice significant for Week 5 projections.

Insight page
PositiveProjection44:40

Jaden Daniels maintains a high fantasy floor due to his rushing ability; even if Terry McLaurin and Stevon Diggs remain unavailable, Daniels will still be a solid fantasy starter and lineup lock because of his dual-threat upside.

Insight page
PositiveInjury62:16

David Blau confirmed that Jaden Daniels is full go with no limitations coming back off injury. Express Delivery is excited to see Daniels return to his rookie-season form, noting he was fun to watch and hoping to see him thrive with the full offense available (including Terry McLaurin if healthy).

Insight page

Jaylen Wright

NegativeUsage31:30

Jalen Wright had just five carries for seven yards last week with nothing in the passing game, making him an unattractive option in a tough running back decision; Express Delivery is eliminating him from consideration.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

NegativeInjury3:40

Jordan Addison did not practice on Wednesday, contrasting with Justin Jefferson's return to limited practice for the Vikings.

Insight page
NegativeRole40:00

Not starting in Week 5; Express Delivery would bench Addison if Justin Jefferson is back, citing concerns about Kyler Murray's ability to support a second wide receiver in the Vikings offense.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeMatchup7:00

Josh Allen's remaining strength of schedule for quarterbacks is the hardest in the NFL. He faces the Rams, Ravens, Vikings, Jets (twice), Chiefs, Patriots, and Broncos. While he gets Miami twice (including Week 17), the gap between Allen and other elite QBs like Lamar Jackson and Brock Purdy narrows due to this difficult slate.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveProjection61:25

Express Delivery prefers Josh Downs over Amari in Hampton for Week 5 flex consideration. Despite disappointing last week, Downs had 20 targets over the prior two games with 70+ yards in both. While not a big touchdown scorer, he typically finds the end zone 4-5 times per season and will eventually score. Express Delivery is concerned about Hampton's floor being too low, as he's not getting enormous rushing volume and is nothing in the passing game.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeMatchup3:11

On lineup locks for Vikings-Saints game, but Vikings defense has allowed fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers over past three weeks; no receiver has scored over 12 fantasy points against Minnesota.

Insight page
PositiveInjury3:15

Justin Jefferson returned to practice on a limited basis after nursing an ankle injury, generating positive sentiment about his availability for Week 5.

Insight page
PositiveProjection40:00

Limited at practice but expected to play; will be a top 10 wide receiver if active. Express Delivery ranks him highly despite Kyler Murray's offensive struggles, suggesting Jefferson's talent transcends the current QB situation.

Insight page
PositiveRole41:57

If Justin Jefferson returns alongside Hawkinson and potentially Addison, Minnesota will have the offensive weapons to move the football and score points against New Orleans; Express Delivery notes confidence in this matchup despite scar tissue from Minnesota's scoreless performance against Miami.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

PositiveProjection31:30

Keaton Mitchell is recommended as a start over Jalen Wright and Chris Rodriguez in a tough running back decision; Express Delivery expects Mitchell to get 4-5 targets and has seen him get goal line carries and score due to his explosiveness, making him a viable flex play.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

PositiveRole16:15

Kenny Gainwell scored a touchdown in Week 4 with Jalen Daniels at quarterback, indicating he is involved in the red zone.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeProjection40:00

Express Delivery is worried the Vikings offense never takes off under Kyler Murray; first two games back have not met expectations with only 13 fantasy points last week. Despite Minnesota's easy schedule moving forward and leading on 59% of offensive snaps (third-highest in NFL), Murray hasn't shown reason to start him until seeing something different on the field. However, the Saints matchup presents an opportunity if Saints score early and force Minnesota to pass.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

NegativeProjection20:54

Express Delivery is not starting Makai Lemon in the Eagles-Jaguars game, indicating a stay-away recommendation due to limited upside in the matchup.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeInjury2:00

Malik Nabers did not practice on Wednesday due to a sore knee, marking him as at least a question mark for Sunday's game against Washington. The source notes potential gamesmanship given Nabers' similar situation in Week 1 against Dallas when his status seemed uncertain despite earlier indications he would play.

Insight page
NegativeRole43:43

Malik Nabors is mentioned as part of the Giants' offensive weapons in the Week 5 matchup against the Commanders.

Insight page

Mike Gesicki

PositiveRole5:05

Mike Gesicki is a known quantity who is prone to finding the end zone when receivers are unavailable; he has already scored three times this season. His projection will receive a boost if Chase or Higgins are out, though he is inconsistent and can also get zero targets.

Insight page

Najee Harris

NegativeUsage47:07

Najee Harris is splitting carries series-for-series with Cam Scadaboo in the backfield, which is a factor being considered in fantasy analysis for the Steelers running back room.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveProjection17:30

Nico Collins went for 30.8 fantasy points last week, demonstrating that Dallas has allowed 15-plus fantasy points to a receiver in three straight games.

Insight page
PositiveProjection22:34

Nico Collins is a lineup lock for the Texans-Titans game, indicating he is a must-start receiver in Week 5.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

NegativeUsage38:33

Only running back to reach 13 fantasy points against Vikings defense through four weeks of season; Vikings have allowed fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeUsage22:34

Parker Washington is a lineup lock for the Jaguars-Eagles game but has fallen off over the past couple of games; he has the 11th-best target share in the NFL but drew a DJ Turner shadow for a ton of his routes last week against Cincinnati, which may limit his upside.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeRole63:33

Express Delivery uses Puka Nakua as an example in a flex spot strategy discussion, advising that if both Puka Nakua and Emeka Abuka are in your lineup, you should put Abuka at wide receiver (his natural position) rather than flex, to preserve flexibility in case something happens to Nakua and you need to pivot to another player for Monday night.

Insight page

Rachaad White

NegativeUsage16:55

Rachaad White did not clear 37 yards in Week 4, indicating minimal production in the Buccaneers' inefficient offense.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

NegativeMatchup59:15

Express Delivery has Sam Darnold ranked very close to Aaron Rodgers but slightly behind for Week 5. Darnold faces the 49ers in a big divisional game against a good defense, which could stifle his production. Looking ahead, Darnold's matchups deteriorate significantly: Denver Broncos in Week 6 and Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7, making him a candidate to drop after this week. However, Darnold has a better receiving option in JSN compared to Rodgers' options.

Insight page

Sean Tucker

NegativeRole18:05

Sean Tucker is mentioned as a potential recipient of trick plays (hook and ladder plays) if the Buccaneers employ a kitchen sink game plan due to being 0-4.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeMatchup6:45

Bills wide receivers face the hardest remaining schedule in the NFL. After having the easiest schedule so far (Houston, Detroit, Chargers, Patriots), they now face the Rams, Raiders, Ravens, Vikings, Jets, Dolphins, Chiefs, Patriots, Packers, plus Chicago, Denver, and Miami during the fantasy playoffs. This represents a dramatic shift to the toughest slate.

Insight page
NegativeInjury43:43

Stevon Diggs did not practice for the Commanders and remains a monitoring point for Week 5; his availability alongside Terry McLaurin will impact Jaden Daniels' passing-game ceiling.

Insight page
NegativeRole44:56

Stefan Diggs becomes a flex option if healthy with Jaden Daniels back in the lineup; his fantasy value is contingent on both his health and the quarterback's return.

Insight page

T.J. Hockenson

NegativeProjection40:00

Low-end tight end one based on recent performance; Express Delivery sees him as a grasp-onto option given the weak tight end position overall. Can maintain fantasy value for guys around him in the Vikings offense, but Murray hasn't shown reason to start him confidently.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeInjury4:05

Tee Higgins is dealing with an abductor injury and a neck issue, was listed as DNP on Wednesday, and will be monitored through Friday when the Bengals decide if he is listed as questionable or out.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeInjury43:43

Terry McLaurin did not practice on the Commanders' injury report; he was held out last week despite reportedly wanting to play, and his status for Week 5 against the Giants remains a key monitoring point.

Insight page
PositiveRole44:51

With Jaden Daniels back, Terry McLaurin will be a lock-in wide receiver if healthy; the return of the quarterback significantly elevates his fantasy outlook.

Insight page
PositiveRole62:16

Express Delivery mentions Terry McLaurin in the context of Jaden Daniels' return, expressing hope that McLaurin plays and noting that having the full offensive weapons available (including McLaurin) will help Daniels get back to his rookie-season form.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

NegativeValue33:00

Tyler Warren loses a trade comparison to Travis Kelsey; Express Delivery prefers Kelsey, noting it's at least close but Kelsey is the better asset.

Insight page

Will Shipley

NegativeProjection19:55

Will Shipley is ranked in the RB24-30 range and is not someone to feel great about starting; the best an Eagles running back has done this year is 11.9 fantasy points, and Shipley will likely split carries with Damian Pierce in a committee approach rather than receiving a full-time role.

0:41Can I just say something? May I? Haircut looks amazing.
0:43So good. I was going to say your analysis is always so cogent and the best and you're underappreciated.
0:49You're appreciated and just want to say you're a generally awesome guy.
0:52There's no judge segment today. No. There's not? No.
0:55Mike, do you're... Is there a chance though that...
0:57This is Wednesday's rundown. That's why. That's why. Oh, my bad.
1:00I mean, yes, there's a judge segment every... We should do that every day.
1:04I'm enjoying it. Uh oh. What'd you just do?
1:07I don't want to talk about it. Is it true, Mike, though, that your feet hurt?
1:11Do your feet hurt right now? No? No, because I have these comfy shoes on, but...
1:15Field's throwing literally metal. Field's throwing things around. Wow.
1:18Why? Calm down. You've just been running through my mind all night.
1:21That's why I wondered, so... All right. Let's dive into a little bit here.
1:25Let's start the scoreboard again. All right. Bringing it back.

1:36Get your league hooked up. Guys, Eric Moody hanging out in chat.
1:40Eric and Moody, make sure you hang out with him as always.
1:43We always go to the chat, have a little bit of fun with some questions.
1:47We had a little bit of news before we dive into everything today.
1:51Field, I'm going to let you take it away.
1:53Let's go to Washington DC to play the Commanders on Sunday.
1:56And it looks like one team might be getting some good injury news.
2:00One team, we're not sure yet. Malik Nabors didn't practice on Wednesday for the Giants.
2:04I'm going to use this as a chance, a blanket statement.
2:07The further we get into the season, and I know that it's only week five, I think the more likely it is
2:13that guys just don't take part in Wednesday practices and they're erring significantly on the side of caution.
2:18Yeah. But no Malik Nabors because of a sore knee at practice yesterday.
2:22Remember when Malik Nabors all of a sudden got coy about his week one status against the Cowboys after it seemed like
2:28he was going to play all throughout training camp?
2:31I wouldn't be surprised if there's something along the way of gamesmanship going on here.
2:35Malik Nabors is at least a question mark for Sunday.
2:38The Giants very thin at wide receiver. It would likely be the, let's be honest, Isaiah likely show if there is no
2:44Malik Nabors on Sunday in Washington in a great matchup.
2:47Jaden Daniels though did return to practice for the Commanders.
2:49I think every player on the Commanders 53 man roster is on the injury report in some way.
2:54Yeah. But Jaden Daniels being upgraded from DNP to practicing on Wednesday is a good sign.
2:59The team has not yet added a veteran quarterback.
3:01And of course, Marcus Mariota is not going to play this weekend.
3:05So it sure feels like, and the rankings and projections reflect this, we'll see Jaden Daniels on Sunday against the G-Men.
3:11Love it. We saw Justin Jefferson back at practice as well, was limited after nursing that ankle injury.
3:16So if he is going to be back, we'll continue to monitor that situation.
3:19But feeling good that he is at least back at practice.
3:23Jordan Addison did not practice. We'll dive into that a little bit more with the rest of this Viking squad.
3:28But if Jefferson is back feeling good about that, we're going to preview that game a little bit later on today.
3:34Great matchup. Yes. Great matchup. Mike, we got another big name wide receiver.
3:38A couple of them actually though that we're monitoring.
3:40Yeah. The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver situation is tricky for sure.
3:43Jamar Chase going through the concussion protocol. Maybe he's cleared for this weekend.
3:47We'll monitor that over the next few days. He's in the projections for now, as is T.
3:51Higgins. Is he abductor? And they added the neck to the injury report as well.
3:56It was kind of tricky on if he was going to practice yesterday or not.
4:00Ultimately, he was listed as DNP. So, again, we're going to monitor both of these down to Friday when they decide if
4:06they're listed as questionable or out for the game.
4:08In the meantime, if Dante Myers is out there on waivers, his projection is still going to look kind of low because Higgins and Chase are in there.
4:16Same for Mike Kosicki. You can scoop those guys up if you're in a tough spot, especially if you have Chase or
4:22Higgins just in case they are rolled out. I did watch Dante Myers, all of his catches.
4:27Somebody does a great job on YouTube of clipping.
4:30I'm talking not just like big performances, but any performance.
4:32Like the suggested playlist after Dante Myers for me was all of Austin Eckler's week four touches.
4:37Oh, wow. He had five. But this person is working very hard to clip them all.
4:42I thought it was notable that watching Dante Myers, who obviously had this incredible game, and he's been one of the coolest
4:48stories from the Bengals on their roster, is that seven catches, if my memory is correct, three of those seven, maybe even
4:54four of those seven, were designed quick screens to Dante Myers.
4:57Which bodes really well for him because if he steps into a larger role with no T.
5:02Higgins or Jamar Chase, maybe both of them. Yeah.
5:04Yes, he's going to have to do some more of the stuff down the field, but in PPR formats, if he gets
5:10three screens in a game, you might as well just put five points in the bank right away before Dante Myers does anything else beyond that.
5:18So he has me intrigued. Mike Kosicki is more of a known quantity.
5:21We know with Kosicki. Like, he's prone to finding the end zone when guys are unavailable.
5:26He's already done it three times so far this year.
5:28Yes, or getting zero targets. You just never know.
5:31It's one of that. He's all over the map, but he can put up 20.
5:35So if you're in a desperate spot, certainly his projection will get a boost if those guys are out.
5:40It very much helps that they're playing the Miami Dolphins, who would be number one on every team's strength of schedule list to play every single week.
5:48Mike, we did have a unveiling of your strength of schedule.
5:51We're going to kind of talk about it a little bit here.
5:54Nicely done. Yeah, let's do it. It's up at ESPN.com.
5:57This is something I worked on throughout the offseason to kind of build a new looking tool, and it's a lot of fun.
6:04So check it out over there. There's the normal, your standard, you know, for whatever Minnesota's quarterbacks, what the strength of schedule
6:10was so far and what it will be the rest of the season based just on what we've seen so far.
6:16I also remove the impact of those specific games like against that team so that it's not influenced by that.
6:21Obviously, if you're Josh Allen's strength of schedule against quarterbacks, it's going to seem easier because he's putting up huge points every single week.
6:28So you have to remove that influence. So that's kind of a unique twist we have on it.
6:33Also, it can expand to the PDF where it goes week by week.
6:36So you can look forward to every team they've played so far and how hard or easy that was and then what it looks like going forward.
6:44This will be updated every single week. So if we can go back to that page that we had.
6:49Can we go back one page to the quarterbacks and running backs, which we flashed on the YouTube stream here, Mike?
6:55And just describe, there we go. So just so I interpret this correctly, it says you have 116 and 32.
7:01So the hardest, middle, or do the Vikings have the easiest strength of schedule?
7:05Yeah, that's where we're going next. So we're going to start here with quarterback and running back.
7:09You're seeing them on the screen. So the Vikings have the easiest remaining schedule for quarterbacks based again, based again on the first four weeks of the season.
7:17They have had the ninth easiest so far, but it should be pretty smooth sailing going forward.
7:22Their schedule includes the Colts, the Lions twice, the Bills, the Panthers, and the Commanders are kind of highlight games going forward.
7:28So that's a big chunk of their schedule. On the other hand, the Bills at the bottom.
7:33I mean, after watching Josh Allen against Houston in week one, not that they've been very good defensively.
7:38They've been a disappointment, but maybe we're not super concerned about this.
7:41They've had a mid-pack schedule so far, but guys, going forward, they get the Rams, the Ravens, the Vikings, the Jets twice,
7:47who have been actually pretty good so far. The Chiefs, the Patriots, and the Broncos as well.
7:52They do get Miami twice, which helps. One of those is in week 17, which is a key moment in the season.
7:58I'm not panicking, but the gap between Josh Allen and then Lamar and Brock Purdy is a little closer because of what the schedule looks like going forward.
8:06I like it. And then right in the middle, you had the Seahawks, just as a reference point.
8:11That's just for a reference point, and you can see the full list, 1-32 on the site.
8:16Running backs, New England is set up with the easiest so far.
8:19Oh, does that make it easier for us? On that graphic.
8:22Quarterbacks and running backs, yeah. Does that mean that we all of a sudden know what to do with New England's running
8:28backs now that they have the easiest fantasy schedule?
8:31Oh, yeah. That's a no for me, Don. Still a no.
8:34Okay. Well, if Armandre, are we talking about that today?
8:36We will. If Armandre's out this week, then it might help.
8:40But they've had the eighth easiest so far. They have the easiest going forward.
8:43Jets twice. Dolphins, Packers, Bills, and Broncos. And then on the hardest side, the 49ers, Daniel.
8:48Oh, my gosh. Uh-oh. Almost like if someone said sell high on CMC.
8:52Yeah, mid-pack so far, but it gets tough. They have the Commanders who have been actually really good against running backs so far.
8:58Atlanta, Minnesota, Seattle, the Rams, and the Chiefs are the highlights of that one.
9:02So, luckily, with McCaffrey, it's not too scary because he does so much in the passing game.
9:07But, again, it's not ideal. You ideally prefer a lighter slate.
9:10Oh, look at that. I love looking at the wide receivers because we've started to unlock Carnell Tate.
9:15We'll talk about him here a little bit more later on in the show.
9:19But love seeing that he has an easy strength of schedule the rest of the way.
9:23Sure does. Titans have had the eighth easiest so far.
9:26Jumps to the easiest the rest of the way.
9:28Houston, who, again, maybe that gets tough at some point.
9:31But for now, it's one of the easiest. Cleveland, the Jags twice.
9:34Dallas, Washington, and Detroit all have been pretty generous to wide receivers so far.
9:38And on the other end, this kind of, of course, correlates with Josh Allen.
9:42It's the Buffalo Bills. And this is the most interesting one on the list.
9:46Why? Because they've had the easiest schedule for receivers so far.
9:49It goes to the hardest going forward. Third, this is the Bills receivers that face so far.
9:54Houston, Detroit, the Chargers, and the Patriots. So it's been pretty light.
9:57Those teams have struggled very much. I'll explain a little bit about Houston later on in the show.
10:02Yeah, I was trying to articulate that the right way.
10:05But they have struggled. Going forward, check this out.
10:08Who they have? The Rams, the Raiders. So, again, they've been good so far against them.
10:12The Ravens, the Vikings, the Jets, the Dolphins. That's a light one.
10:15The Chiefs. Well, I shouldn't say a light one for the Dolphins because no one throws on them.
10:20They don't try. They don't need to. They haven't allowed a lot.
10:24The Chiefs, the Patriots, and the Packers. They also have Chicago, Denver, and Miami as well.
10:28So this is like, oh, that's a fantasy playoff.
10:31Chicago, Denver, Miami is during the fantasy playoff. So just across the board, a tough one for Bills wide receiver.
10:36Something to monitor. And then really quick, tight ends is the trickiest one because sometimes it just depends on who you face.
10:42So this early in the season, it's not super impactful.
10:45But the Falcons' easiest going forward, Houston, the hardest.
10:48Maybe that helps Kyle put Pittsgett going at some point, guys.
10:51I was going to say he's now projected for two catches next week.
10:54Exactly. Yeah. So it's a tricky one. But anyway, early on, we're only four weeks in.
10:59This will evolve as the year goes on. It'll get more and more reliable as the season progresses.
11:04But this is what we're looking at so far.
11:06It's my favorite tool to rely upon for trade deadline decisions.
11:09Yeah. It's great. Because you're sitting there and you're like, man, Christian McCaffrey's been so good so far this season, but maybe there is a slight discount.
11:17I don't know the perfect running back example. Like if CMC continues to outpace Ashton Gentry, if you have CMC and maybe
11:23you like the slate ahead for Ashton Gentry going forward, you might be able to orchestrate a CMC for Ashton Gentry swap
11:29as we get closer to the deadline. Yeah. Plus, remember, you click the PDF that's on that page and you can actually
11:35go ahead if you want to look at like weeks 15, 16, 17 and just see who the three opponents are and
11:41how they rate so far at all. And this includes kicker and defense as well.
11:46So you can look at all those kinds of things.
11:48And there's some fascinating things. Like if you've had Denver's defense, you're like, that's pretty disappointing.
11:53I thought that was an elite defense, but you look at their schedule and you're like, oh, well, they've played some really good offenses.
12:00The rest of the way, they have the easiest schedule for defenses.
12:03So maybe that's a time to scoop them up off of waivers.
12:06Big opportunity for Denver. Although we'll make our picks later, but I got a feeling on the Jaguars this week.
12:12By the way, this is very easy to find because if you just go to our rankings page, like you already do
12:18to look at quarterbacks, wide receiver, side ends, it's right there within that list of links as well.
12:23So you can find it right on our rankings page.
12:26Shout out to you for that, Michael. Hey, thank you.
12:29Great job. Many people's first serious relationship didn't start with a kiss.
12:32It started with a kickoff. Or perhaps it was love at first hike.

13:43Let's dive into our team previews, my friends. Bucks and Cowboys.
13:46Who wants to start with this one? Because I look at these lineup locks.
13:50Bucky Irving, technically on one side is a lineup lock.
13:52Javonta Williams, CeeDee Lamb, after his huge game. We talked about George Pickens a little bit earlier this week.
13:58Guys, we'll start with you, Field. Do you think that Pickens, this is the week he's getting back on track and finally finds the end zone?
14:05This is the week. This is the week that George Pickens gets back on track.
14:09He scores tonight. And George Pickens is so talented.
14:12The idea of him scoring in any given week should not come as a major surprise.
14:16The fact that he hasn't done it through four weeks is an even bigger surprise than that.
14:21Let's talk about the matchup a little bit, though.
14:23As you think about this Tampa Bay team and so much attention has been paid to the offensive struggles and injuries that
14:29we haven't really focused too much on this defense.
14:32Well, the Bucks have allowed the fifth highest completion percentage so far this season.
14:36They have just six. No, that's bad. That's good for George.
14:39Bad for the Buccaneers. Yes. Yeah. They have just six sacks.
14:42They can't pressure the quarterback. Dak Prescott gets his all-pro guard Tyler Smith back tonight.
14:46Lots of reason to believe that Dak Prescott will have plenty of time to throw.
14:50Dak, one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
14:53Pickens has just one end zone target. And George Pickens is a guy that the Cowboys have to find a way to keep happy.
15:00Right? George Pickens has had a mercurial nature to him throughout his career.
15:03Right? You've got to find a way to keep him happy.
15:06I think that happens tonight. Tonight just one end zone target so far this season.
15:10I think he gets at least one tonight. And he scores.
15:13I got George Pickens as a touchdown. He was a little bit on that JMO path to start the season.
15:19Where like when you have drafted him, it's like we're just going to keep rolling with him.
15:24You kind of knew that he's going to get involved sooner or later in an offense that's going to eventually find him.
15:30I like the call here. I've got him as wide receiver 16, which is three spots higher than you guys.
15:35A little bit higher than consensus. I'm in on George Pickens tonight.
15:39Love that. Mike, the Bucs with no passing game last week basically because of Jalen Daniels stepping in.
15:44Does that mean that it's only the Bucky Irving show?
15:47Yeah, I think so. And even him, I'm a little nervous about it.
15:50What do you have? Enough volume that you're starting Bucky Irving.
15:53He did have 16 carries for 61 yards last week.
15:56But guys, we have to get him involved in the passing game.
15:59Zero targets last week. That's not going to cut it.
16:02Kind of all of our fears going into last week kind of came to fruition with Jalen Daniels.
16:0719 of 27 passing. That completion percentage is fine, but only 148 yards.
16:11He did have one touchdown to Kenny Gainwell. Yeah, well, I was going to get there in a second.
16:16Also, two interceptions in the game. But yeah, to your point, 5.5 yards per attempt.
16:20That's very poor. And the reason for that is 4.2 is his average depth of target.
16:25The average depth of throw, very short range. And also, as if that's not enough, we were worried he was going to run way more than Baker Mayfield.
16:33Sure enough, 8 carries, 55 yards in this game.
16:358 carries is a lot of plays when you're a low-volume, inefficient offense.
16:39So Irving, again, enough rushing volume, enough talent. We're starting him.
16:42But no buck cleared 37 yards in this game last week.
16:45Ibuka had 13 yards on four targets. The thing that makes this somewhat interesting, if you're thinking about Ibuka as a flex,
16:51is Dallas is not better against the pass this year so far.
16:54They have the worst EPA against the pass. They're mid-packing fantasy points to receivers, but they have allowed 15-plus to a receiver in three straight games.
17:02Remember, Nico Collins last week went for 30.8 points.
17:04So maybe there's enough for Ibuka to get you to 12 points, maybe.
17:08But it's very risky to invest in this offense.
17:10The thing that I am watching most closely from Tampa, specifically on offense because you can't really do this as much on
17:16defense, is could this be a kitchen sink game?
17:19They're 0-4. Like, if they're 0-5, even in the NFC South, you might as well just start thinking about the draft tomorrow
17:25morning if they lose this game tonight. I'm looking for trick plays.
17:28I'm looking for running backs, throwing passes to wide receivers down the field.
17:32Anything. Flea flickers, reverses. Hooking ladders. Hooking ladders. You name it.
17:35I hope this Bucs offense, and the reason I bring up those trick plays, is not that those totally change the outlook
17:41for a player in fantasy, but a few bonus points here or there wouldn't hurt for the guys that we might still
17:47be considering starting, which is basically just Bucky Irving and Nemeca Abuka.
17:51Okay, so if they're going to throw, naturally they're going to do the hook and ladder because everyone's doing that now, right?
17:57So they throw it to... Sean Tucker. I'll bet Sean Tucker.
18:00They throw it to, what, Kate Otten or someone?
18:02Who are they going to throw it to? And he's going to lateral it to...
18:06Who do we want to get it? Ted Hurst, Abuka.
18:09Ted Hurst, Abuka, yeah. I'm cool with Nemeca Abuka getting all of the yards.
18:13Yeah. Irving and Abuka, that's where we want it all to go.
18:16This might be a surprise here, guys, but I'm going to take the Dallas Cowboys in this one.
18:21Where are you going to go? We are all the way across the board.
18:25Across the board, even the producers maybe. Dallas at home, yeah.
18:28By the way, Jalen Daniels, good story too. Hopefully he performs well.
18:32It'd be nice if he could carve out a role in the league.
18:35Yeah. We'll see. Go to undrafted to win the number two job to be starting this early.
18:40Yep. Good story. Let's talk about this Houston Texans offense taking on the Tennessee Titans, my friends.
18:45Sorry about that. I meant Eagles. I did. Eagles versus Jaguars.
18:48No, we could skip the Eagles game. Mike wanted to skip the Eagles and Jaguars game.
18:52I'm very nervous about this one, especially after the Eagles, shockingly, traded a guard yesterday.
18:57Yeah, they did. They're down. Eagles came into the season thinking they'd have a top 5-0 line.
19:0160% of it's gone. I mean, at least for now, Landon Dickerson will be back at some point, but Lane Johnson retired.
19:07Cam Juergens goes to Baltimore for a 2 and a 5.
19:11So, interesting direction for the Philadelphia Eagles team right now.
19:13I'm not feeling good about them going into Jacksonville this weekend.
19:16As you can see on the screen, Daniel, no lineup locks right now.
19:20They are playing in London. In London, yeah. Jacksonville Jaguars.
19:23The London Jaguars. Basial Toot and Trevor Lawrence and Parker Washington, the only three lineup locks for this game.
19:28On the other side with the Eagles, I just want to quickly run through this with where we have all these players right now.
19:35Jalen Hurts, three straight games under 16.5 fantasy points, back-to-back games under 13.5 fantasy points.
19:39He's outside the top 12 for all of us at the quarterback position right now.
19:43With both of the running backs and Saquon and Tank Bigsby being hurt, it looks like it's going to be Will Shipley.
19:49We have him in the running back 24, 25 to 30 range, and not someone that you really feel great starting, because
19:55the best an Eagles running back has done this year is 11.9 fantasy points.
19:59So, did you guys see Nick Sirianni's comments? I was just going to say that, yes.
20:04Now take it away then. He said Damian Pierce is a starting NFL running back, and they didn't want to mention that
20:10previously, because he was on the practice squad, and they want anyone to scoop him away.
20:14I mean, Pierce has been around the league a little bit.
20:17I think it's news from the sense that he's going to have a significant role, which is what I said yesterday.
20:23Like, I don't think Shipley's going to have an 80% snap share, like Aaron Jones and some of these guys I've been getting.
20:30I think another running back's going to have a big role.
20:33Also, wouldn't shock me at all if Pierce leads them in carries, and Shipley's more involved in passing situations.
20:38I just don't think it's going to be a full-time role for any of them.
20:42So, is that enough for either of them to be starters in fantasy?
20:46No. I think this is the best. If it's like Green Bay, like, I don't want to mess with him.
20:51Stay away? It's a stay away. Same with the wide receivers.
20:54I'm not starting either Makai Lemon or Dontavian Wicks in this one.
20:58The only person I might consider would be Dallas Goddard, knowing that he's back at practice.
21:02I think Dallas Goddard's probably close to a lineup block.
21:05Yeah, he's tricky. It's like, yeah, he's like coming back, so it's like we're on the fence if he's going to go
21:11for sure, but he is back at practice. But if you have him, I would say you're probably rolling him out there.
21:17Especially without Devonta Smith, I feel like he could just become like one of the target for Jalen Hurts.
21:23And Devonta Smith, I think, will miss this weekend.
21:25But he was out at practice yesterday. He did not participate, but he was out there.
21:30Dallas Goddard was back in a limited fashion, right?
21:32Yes. I think that we'll find out based on who travels to this game.
21:36We'll have a pretty good indicator who's going to play.
21:39They're leaving on Friday. They're doing sort of a Rams-type thing where they're going to get to London on Saturday and have a quick trip over there.
21:46I say Goddard only because, mostly because of the position he plays.
21:50Yes. Like we're sifting through the wilderness of tight ends, and it's like, well, Dallas, he's been a good player for a long time.
21:56As long as it doesn't sound like he is going to play, but just be a situational player.
22:01If it feels like they're going to play, let him roll.
22:04Then I will be starting Dallas Goddard if he's out there.
22:07Do you know who the Eagles play next week?
22:10Not off the top of my head. I do not.
22:13Are they at their bye? Do they have their bye after them?
22:16No, I don't think they're having their bye. I think they're not taking their bye right after this, which is becoming more of a time.
22:23If only there were a strength of schedule chart you could look at.
22:27Panthers. That's who they play next. Okay. So the only thing that I'll say is I will monitor this backfield most closely
22:33for what it might mean the following week against Carolina.
22:36Yep. That's a more palatable matchup than I think they'll have this weekend against the Jaguars, who have been one of the
22:42best run defenses since the start of last season.
22:44Yeah, I feel like the Eagles are very much a long shot in this game, so kind of getting Devontae Smith healthy
22:50for next week and a good matchup against Carolina, who's shorthanded at corner, might be in their best interest to try to
22:56turn the season around at that point. Did you guys know that this Sunday marks the first of 26 games away from
23:03Jacksonville the Jaguars will play over the next 30 NFL regular season games?
23:06Wait, wait, wait, wait. Say that again? Wow. The Jaguars, if you take into account the rest of this season, the 17 games next season, that's 30.
23:14Yes. We'll play 26 of them not in Jacksonville.
23:16They're going into a temporary stadium in Orlando next year.
23:19Oh. Right? They obviously play the International Series. Yes.
23:22They've given away home games in London every year anyways.
23:24As a part of it? Yes. Wow. So 26 of their next 30 games will not be played at Everbank Stadium.
23:30Wow. Field dives deep for Nuggets. Yes. That was a good one.
23:33Do you have anything you want to add from a fantasy perspective or just that stadium stuff?
23:38I mean, I thought that was a good fact.
23:41Okay. All right. It is a good fun fact.
23:43How do I change my lineup with that information?
23:46Yes, what do I do? How do I update my lineup?
23:49I mean, you know what? I love you. Now, no, no, no, no.
23:52You know what? Now I'm going to go the other way.
23:56Okay. You know what? Awful analysis for you. Okay.
23:58All right. And your beard is scruffy. It is.
24:01And it's getting white, Field. Oh. It is. I didn't even see that.
24:04Some of the grays are coming in. This just got me in a hurry.
24:08Wow. Yours is real white. Yeah, it is. It's okay.
24:11That's all right. I'm okay with that. You look good, salt and pepper.
24:14I can. Yeah. I appreciate that. I have no beard.
24:17No. It would be great. You know what would be funny?
24:20It'd be funny if you did the opposite. You know how people will have a full beard and then they'll shave and their kids will see them?
24:28You should do the opposite where your kids don't see you for, it would probably take 12 or 15 years.
24:33Yes, yes, yes. To be able to do it and then see how they feel about it.
24:38That'd be fun. I was going to make a reference to something, but you guys wouldn't find it fantasy relevant.
24:44Oh, wow. Wow. Okay. Not a guy who walked around the world in 28 years.
24:48Okay, that's fair. That's fair. You guys pick it in this game.
24:51I'm going to take the Jaguars. The Jags. Yeah.
24:54Sadly. Yeah. Last week, I picked the Rams and I thought they would handle the Eagles pretty easily and the Eagles had
25:00that thing in the bag for a long time and blew it.
25:03So, I don't know. Maybe it'll surprise me, but I'm low on confidence right now in this team.
25:08I have a couple of ebbs while others flow.
25:11We can talk about the Jaguars though, by the way.
25:14Bring it. Okay. Just real quick. The three guys that we have as starters.
25:17Did we ask him to do that? We did.
25:20Sorry. That's all right. Facial Tootin. We talked about him yesterday, but just to reiterate, he's playing just 50.7% of the snaps,
25:26but the guy in the backfield you most want to start.
25:29A 10 plus yard run in every game this season.
25:32Parker Washington, as Daniel reminded us a couple of days ago, fallen off a bit over the past couple of games.
25:38Has the 11th best target share in the NFL.
25:40Mike noted the DJ Turner shadow he drew for a ton of his routes last week against Cincinnati.
25:45And the Eagles, surprisingly, bottom 10 against wide receivers and quarterbacks so far this year.
25:49So a better matchup than you would expect this Eagles team to be based off how they played last year.
25:55Any comment on the weather forecast, which says intermittent clouds?
25:58Does that change your analysis? Intermittent clouds. It just made me laugh.
26:01I don't know. Just random. It's just a silly weather.
26:04So mean. There might be an occasional cloud. There may be every once in a while.
26:08Texans and the Titans. Finally, we get to talk about my Titans here, guys.
26:12Super excited about it. Your Titans? Your Titans? Yes.
26:15Is that news? Well, no. I mean, I was excited.
26:18I jumped the gun here and false started on this game earlier in the show.
26:22Lineup blocks in this one. Nico Collins and Carnell Tate.
26:25Two good looking receivers right there. Carnell Tate has looked good the last couple of weeks.
26:29You started slow. If you had him as a rookie and you looked and watched this offense, it didn't feel great.
26:35But last three weeks, 28% target share, 25% target share, 42% target share last week.
26:39It was unbelievable. And you look at what wide receivers, Mike kind of teased this earlier on in the show, have done
26:45against the Houston Texans so far this year. Are you ready for this?
26:49Yes. These are the four wide receivers that were basically the wide receiver one of their squad that played the Houston Texans.
26:55Keenan Allen scored 18.3 fantasy points. What? This year?
26:57This year. DJ Moore scored 21 fantasy points. Jamar Chase scored 26.5 fantasy points.
27:01And CeeDee Lamb scored 41.3 fantasy points. That was awesome.
27:04That's four straight guys with 18-plus fantasy points. This is a great situation right now for Carnell Tate, who's only getting more
27:10and more looks and more integrated in this offense.
27:13I don't think I... The question was, is he a flex play?
27:16I don't even think he's a flex play. I think he's a full-on wide receiver too right now with the volume and this matchup this week.
27:23Yeah, only concern is will he find the end zone ever in this offense?
27:27Please. That's a concern. Please. Just not getting much run near the end zone, one end zone target on this season.
27:33But to your point, top 10 in target share in the whole NFL this season.
27:37That's why we chase volume even after the slow start.
27:40That's why he was a buy because he's getting heavy volume.
27:43Agreed. Not to mention the talent level, obviously. Yeah, so he is very much in our lineup locks and going to be in the lineup.
27:50What about on the other side of this one?
27:53Just Nico Collins, I see. Yes. I wanted to talk about CJ Stroud because he's coming off a rare good fantasy day last week.
27:59347 passing yards and two touchdowns against Dallas. But guys, this is fascinating.
28:0323.1 fantasy points in that game, which is a decent number.
28:06Not like an elite number, but a pretty good number.
28:09Over his last 39 games, going back to the start, week one of 2024.
28:13That's his fourth best fantasy game. Wow. That shows you how poor he has been from a fantasy perspective.
28:18The difference this season from years past is he's had added passing volume.
28:22He's top eight in attempts, completions, and yards. But game script has been a huge factor there because they're 0-4.
28:27They've been trailing 71% of the time. That's fourth highest in the NFL.
28:31And even still, he has five passing touchdowns in four games, and he's still not a factor with those like just 66 yards so far.
28:38Also, this is a game where we expect game script to be a little bit different.
28:42Houston better handled this game against the Titans. Teams have not had to throw a lot against them.
28:47A quarterback has not hit 19 fantasy points against Tennessee this season, and I think they've had a fairly light schedule.
28:53It hasn't been super tough, but nonetheless, no one's gotten to 20 against them.
28:57I don't think Stroud is the guy we're going to be talking about as a viable streamer in fantasy going forward.
29:03It will be interesting if this becomes a game very similar to what happened last year in week four.
29:08The Texans start 0-3. The sky is falling. The Texans play the Titans, and they win 26-0.
29:13They totally smother them. They outclass them. If that happens, it probably is not great news for – I think that CJ
29:19Stroud will be fine in a game like that, but certainly not dominant.
29:23They've played the Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, and New York Giants.
29:26There you go. Two 0-4 teams. Who would have thought?
29:29Yeah. Yeah. Field. You're going with the Titans here.
29:32I low-key like this. I like the – Tighten up!
29:35I like the bold call. It's in Tennessee. I think I like it, too.
29:38In Tennessee? Yeah. I think I like that. Cam Ward's showing some signs of life the last couple of weeks.
29:44All right. One of my themes today and tomorrow's picks is I'm zigging when others are zagging.
29:49I like that field. When we're talking about fantasy analysis, you're talking about stadiums.
29:53Chad's talking about lineup questions. I was trying. It didn't really work.
29:56That was okay. It still worked. I feel bad.
29:58I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Oh, you have a tender touch.
30:01You just got my knee. Does Mike ever grab your leg under the desk like I do?
30:06No, I don't. It's just me. I'm the only one that does it.
30:10Sorry about that. You're not supposed to do that.
30:12All right. Don't talk to HR. Mr. Big Sheesh.
30:15Need help bad guys. Who do I start at running back one and two?
30:19Will Shipley, Jalen Wright, Keaton Mitchell, or Chris Rodriguez?
30:21Chris Rodriguez-y. I think we can throw one in there.
30:24The answer is no. That's a tough list. The answer is no.
30:27That's a tough question. You know, I was thinking about this though, and I know Mike's being tongue-in-cheek when he says this,
30:33but I was thinking about something that I found that on occasion, whether it's, you know, on social media, usually on social
30:39media, people will ask questions for fantasy and analysts will respond, and they have almost this condescending tone, like, you know, like.
30:46Like Mike just did. Yeah. Mike was joking, obviously.
30:48Yeah, it's obvious. But it's like, I'm telling you, you play in a deep enough league.
30:53Yeah. No, you're right. Crazy crap like this happens.
30:55Yep. So, this person, Mr. Big Sheesh, maybe he's in a 10-team league and he just went super wide receiver heavy, or
31:01he drafted Travis Achan and somebody else who's hurt right now.
31:04Peace Hall, like it could be all these guys.
31:07Yeah, there are any number of ways in which a situation like this could percolate.
31:11I mean, I joke about that because been there, done that.
31:14You know, we've all been there. I know the pain.
31:17I'm feeling the pain with you. In our fantasy-focused countdown league, my four running backs are Blake Corum, Emmanuel Wilson, Rico Dowdle, and Ja'Cory Krosky-Merritt.
31:24But that's not that far off from this question right now because I've got Devon Achan and Jadarian Price that have both been hurt.
31:30Price has been very good. So, I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel on that league.
31:35This stuff happens. It does. So, I'm going to try to answer these as best I can.
31:40Can we throw it back up there one more time so we can see?
31:44Will Shipley is one. Shipley, Keaton Mitchell, Jalen Wright, and Chris Rodriguez.
31:47I am going with Will Shipley, Keaton Mitchell. Those are the two picks.
31:50Agreed. I'm eliminating Jalen Wright. He had just five carries for seven yards last week.
31:55Nothing in the passing game at all last week.
31:57And that would be the way that he kind of helps his cause.
32:01And Chris Rodriguez, I think he has to do what he did last week, which is run free for a 20-plus yard touchdown run.
32:07I think that I am banking on Keaton Mitchell getting four to five targets potentially.
32:12Enough touches. And Will Shipley getting maybe 12 carries and three to four targets himself.
32:16Yeah, by the way, we've seen Keaton Mitchell get a goal line carry and score because of his explosiveness.
32:21That one where he went around. He actually went backwards and went around the defender because he's so fast.
32:26So, yeah, I'm with you. I think it's Shipley for sure is as pessimistic as I am.
32:31I think he's the clear right number one here.
32:34And then the rest are closer, but I would go Keaton Mitchell.
32:37And by the way, the fantasy basketball season opened up very soon.
32:40If you want to join fantasy basketball league, you can jump in there.
32:44All right. This guy's still grinding. Another question. Patrick wants to know, what do we think of this trade?
32:49These are always our favorites. Tyler Warren and Malik Neighbors for Ashton Gentey and Travis Kelsey.
32:54This feels like an easy call to me. Gentey and Kelsey.
32:57I mean, you can make a case Kelsey is over Warren right now.
33:00At the very least, it's close. And you want Gentey over Malik Neighbors.
33:04For sure. I mean, the running back value as good as Gentey's been, I think that's an easy call.
33:09His passing game work, yeah. I concur as well.
33:12This goes back to the contract we've been talking about a lot recently, which is running back is already the hardest position to find players at.
33:19It's even more difficult when this season so far, players that either are out for the rest of the year or for
33:25a significant period of time include Devon Achan, Travis Achan, Jadarion Price.
33:29We've got backfields that we thought might have some level of value that just flat out don't.
33:33So like Philadelphia, for example, that's a Saquon Barkley is no longer a thing that matters to us as an elite fantasy running back.
33:40Obviously, he's hurt now too. The Broncos, that's a cross-off backfield.
33:43The Chargers are largely a cross-off backfield. So to me, the Ashton Gentey side wins that one pretty clearly.
33:48Yeah, definitely. Definitely. If I got that offer, I would be like, how quickly can I hit the show?
33:54Does Gentey hurt? What's God's worth? Gentey? No, he's not?
33:56Okay. Yes. Accept. I like it. All right. Let's do one more question here.
34:00This one comes from FigJam12. Ooh, good one. Debo or Denzel Boston rest of season, guys?
34:05That is a great question. That's a great question.
34:07Browns offense has been trending upwards. I'm going to lean on Denzel Boston.
34:11Yeah, me too. I think there's a growing role potential for Denzel Boston.
34:15The Browns offense is just flat out passable now.
34:17It's not great. It's not bad, though. And with Debo, that one game where he has the 80-yard touchdown on no receptions,
34:23maybe it's clouded the value of how good he has been so far this season.
34:27So I go Denzel Boston. Yeah, also it's... Oh, sorry.
34:30Go ahead. Debo's got to hold up. They could eventually get to John Stribbling back.
34:34Exactly. So I'm leaning towards Boston here. I would agree with you.
34:38Also, what I'm trying to figure out with Boston right now is what he's going to settle in as in the pros.
34:44Like, I think he's going to be a legit fantasy starter for a long time.
34:48Is this like a T. Higgins type of player that's going to be like, you know, a little bit dependent on touchdowns and be a little boom bust?
34:56I'm not saying injuries necessarily, but you know, kind of how that role he's been.
35:00And he's always kind of hung around as a wide receiver too.
35:03But the bottom line is, I think Boston is ascending and looks like the real deal.
35:08Looks like a good find by Cleveland. I mean, the player that kept coming back to him or kept coming back to
35:14with him in the pre-draft process is like, the high-end outcome is Drake London.
35:18And through four games, they're like, wow, okay. Like, you can see a little bit of Drake London in Denzel Boston's game.
35:24Long ways to go, obviously. But through four weeks, like, you could understand how that comparison will make some level of sense.
35:30I love this question too, because it really shows one of the things that sometimes is really easy in fantasy is just
35:36to get hooked on the really exciting new young prospect that you're just going to over-expect a thing to happen.
35:42Debo Samuel is a great veteran to have this conversation with.
35:45He's had three games over 15 fantasy points. Try not to just become totally excited about the shiny new toy and see
35:51which one is actually a better option for my fantasy squad.
35:54I'd be curious if this person is asking the question because he or she has an offer on the table, like his
36:00or her Debo for the other person's Denzel Boston.
36:03Or if it's just like, you know what? I'm thinking about trading one of them to try to get something.
36:08Who should I be hanging on to versus the other?
36:11Yeah. I mean, I think those guys are border...
36:13And 10-team leagues are borderline rosterable if you have a shallow bench.
36:17I think already rosterable. Denzel Boston, definitely. They're both...
36:19I think they both should be on rosters, but I think they're kind of on that fence of like, hey, I need
36:25to drop somebody because I need a running back.
36:28And during die weeks, like maybe do I drop Boston or Debo?
36:31I don't know if Boston is more cemented where in general people are like, oh, no, this guy's going to be the real deal yet.
36:38I think he's very much on that cusp along with someone like Debo Samuel.

37:50All right, let's dive into the next game here, my friends.
37:53Vikings and Saints. Vikings and Saints. This is going to be an interesting one.
37:57On lineup locks, Chris Olave, Aaron Jones, and Justin Jefferson.
37:59Fields, you are a little concerned the Saints, oh, will crash down to earth, potentially.
38:03Potentially. A couple of weird injury report situations. Yesterday, we'll talk about one later in New England.
38:08But in New Orleans, Chris Olave was listed as a rest.
38:11Although there was some speculation on Twitter that maybe he is dealing with some sort of injury.
38:16Sounds like one way or the other, Chris Olave will play on Sunday.
38:20Alvin Kamara didn't practice yesterday as well. That's just him being an old veteran, right?
38:24It's a back injury, not a knee injury. Remember, the knee was a worse what took him out of the game briefly on Monday night.
38:31But let's just assume all of those guys play.
38:33Not sure that the outlook is particularly rosy against this Vikings team.
38:37Now, this Vikings team has not played a bunch of absolute game-changing offenses.
38:40But through four weeks, the Vikings have allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.
38:44An average of 10.51 per game. They've allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs.
38:49Ollie Gordon was the only one to reach even 13 so far this season.
38:53Over the past three weeks, no wide receiver has gotten over 12 fantasy points against Minnesota.
38:57And no tight end has reached 10 fantasy points against the Vikings all season.
39:01One of the things that has helped the Saints this year has been the game script.
39:06So bad on defense that they have been in these shootouts or serious comeback mode.
39:10Yeah, and they don't score early. They wait to get going offensively.
39:13And the Vikings don't score early or late. You know, the Vikings just win games.
39:17They grind out games with their defense and their kickers.
39:20So I'm a little nervous. Not to the point I've got Olave very highly ranked.
39:24But Tyler Shuck has dropped outside our top 10.
39:27Jawan Johnson, borderline top 10 tight end because he plays tight end.
39:30But if the Saints score 17 points on Sunday and Shuck finishes with 13, this should not come as a major surprise to you.
39:37If you have been riding Tyler Shuck, and I have in a couple of leagues, I added Jacoby Brissett.
39:42That's my pivot option this week. I did the exact same thing.
39:45I am benching Tyler Shuck, and I added Jacoby Brissett off waivers.
39:49Yep. So the Vikings defense has been excellent. And I don't think that the Saints are going to have to throw the
39:55football 40 times because this might be a grinded out game.
39:58Yeah. On both sides. Yeah, it's going to be a really fascinating.
40:01Big spot here for Kyler Murray. Is that the next topic?
40:04Yeah. I don't want to steal it. That's okay.
40:07We can talk about it, though. Yeah, good. Field is worried that this offense comes crashing to earth.
40:12I'm worried the Vikings offense never takes off under Kyler Murray.
40:15First two games back, it has not been what we had wanted to see necessarily under 13 fantasy points from a fantasy perspective.
40:21In part, though, last week he played the Miami Dolphins.
40:24This is a team that ran the ball a ton.
40:27You saw Aaron Jones touch the ball a bunch.
40:29I am nervous with what this offense is going to be through the first two weeks of really seeing it.
40:35I think there's at least a question mark of, is this going to be what you want?
40:40With that being said, if you have Justin Jefferson, he's limited at practice.
40:43As long as he plays, he's going to be a top 10 wide receiver for us again.
40:48A lineup block for you. Jordan Addison not starting.
40:51I wouldn't start a second wide receiver right now with what I've seen from Kyler Murray in this offense.
40:56If Justin Jefferson is back, I am benching Jordan Addison.
40:59And TJ Hawkinson at the tight end spot. I guess he's maybe a low end tight end one, given what we saw this last week.
41:06And like we've said for a number of guys, the position just isn't great.
41:10So we're sort of looking for anyone that we can kind of grasp onto.
41:13I think he can actually maintain fantasy value for the guys around him in this offense.
41:18But I'm not sure Kyler has shown us that there's any reason to, other than Mike's strength of schedule, which says he has the easiest schedule moving forward.
41:26He hasn't shown me any reason to think that I should be starting him until I see something completely different on the field.
41:32Yeah, that easy schedule does start in this game though.
41:35So there is an opportunity here. Minnesota has led on 59% of their offensive snaps.
41:39That's third highest in the NFL. So if you're invested in Kyler, which I actually am in our knockout leagues, because I
41:45have Mahomes and one and the other quarterback situation, I lost Jackson Dart.
41:49So in an 18 team league, naturally, it's hard to find a quarterback.
41:52So I'm hoping he gets rolling. I have some confidence in this matchup against the Saints.
41:57My hope is that the Saints were some points early on this Minnesota defense.
42:01And then there's actually some pressure on Minnesota to operate a passing game.
42:04I think if Justin Jefferson is back with Hawkinson there, and we'll see on Addison, but they do have Jawan Jennings as
42:11well, although he's been so quiet this year so far.
42:13He hasn't done that. Aaron Jones. I mean, there's the pieces here that they should be able to move the football.
42:19They should be able to score points. I have a little bit of scar tissue, to be honest, on the idea that
42:25they went in, they played Miami and didn't score a single touchdown.
42:29Yeah, but they didn't get in the end zone.
42:31I mean, I totally get that also. There's just teams when they play Miami this year, just like we don't have to do anything.
42:38They can just kick their ways into victories, unfortunately.
42:40Will Reichert, NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
42:43Who are you taking in this one? Vikings or Saints?
42:46Which side are you going to land on, Mike?
42:48I took the Vikings, I believe, in this one.
42:51I believe that I took the Saints in this one.
42:53Bam! Three out of four went with the Saints.
42:56I thought I was going to zig when all people were zagging.
42:59Oh, Saints, I'm still in. Mike is the only person picking the 4-0 Vikings.
43:03Yeah, I believe in Kyler. He's going to get rolling this week.
43:07We'll see. Which of these two teams, I mean, 4-0 Vikings versus the 1-3 Saints, which of these two teams are more
43:13real in spite of the fact that their records couldn't be more different?
43:16I don't think the Vikings are a 4-0 team by any means.
43:20I don't think the Saints are a 1-3 team.
43:22The Vikings did this to us a couple years ago where all year everyone was like, oh, they're not this good.
43:28They're not this good. And next thing you know, they have what, three losses with Sam Darnold?
43:33Ryan Flores' defense is real good too. They're always good.
43:36Let's talk about Giants and Commanders. Excuse me. The Janders.
43:38Oh, this is going to be a fun one too because hopefully we get to see Jaden Daniels back in this one.
43:44Jaden Daniels, Cherry McLaurin, both lineup blocks on one side.
43:47Malik Nabors, Isaiah Likely on the other side of this one, guys.
43:51McLaurin, obviously a major question mark. DNP. Health. Yep.
43:53Same for Stevon Diggs. Yeah, I was feeling confident McLaurin had come back even when he was rolled out last week because
43:59they said he was kind of clamoring to play in that game and then they decided to not throw him out there.
44:05I thought he'd certainly be back this week, but we'll see.
44:08Maybe they just gave him an extra day off and he'll practice today.
44:12So that's one to monitor. So I have the Commanders injury report, the practice report, and it's huge.
44:17This is an entire page of so many different people.
44:20Stevon Diggs, like you said, and Terry McLaurin both did not practice.
44:23I'm curious, Mike, with the way that you have Jaden Daniels projected now, we still have both of those wide receivers in the projections.
44:30Yeah, whole offense is in there right now. Okay.
44:32If that were to change and we were to find out that either one or both of them were to come out, how would that impact Jaden Daniels?
44:40Yeah, it'll come down a little bit, but also part of why he has high floor in fantasy is his rushing.
44:46So as long as he's going to run the football, he'll still be a pretty good fantasy starter.
44:51Still a starter for sure. Still a lineup block even if the wide receivers aren't there.
44:56So obviously continue to monitor that. Hopefully he gets back on the field and he is good for practice the rest of the week.
45:02Same with the wide receivers. It is kind of just a wait and see right now.
45:07But if Terry McLaurin's healthy, he's going to be out there, especially with Jaden Daniels back.
45:11He will be a lock it in wide receiver for us.
45:14Stefan Diggs, if he plays and is healthy, maybe a flex option with Jaden Daniels back kind of now in this conversation.
45:20That's really it. I don't want to start anybody in the backfield.
45:24Guys, I don't even, unless you want to, there's no reason for me to talk about Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt, Rashad White.
45:29Ideally, you just have much better options than either one of them.
45:33This is one of those dead zone backfields we've been talking about through the first four weeks.
45:37I almost feel like we can institute a new term where we call each team, we use a number to assign the value to them.
45:44The commanders are a twofer team. Like if you're healthy, right now it's one quarterback and one wide receiver, two total players.
45:50They're a twofer team. Yep, that's a good point.
45:53Two and a half, maybe in a deeper league if Stefan Diggs is good.
45:57But twofer is kind of the appropriate tag for them.
46:00That's how you're approaching the commanders. How are we approaching the Giants this week?
46:03Yeah, I'm looking at Cam Scadaboo. I feel like just good to check in on players sometimes.
46:08He's kind of been, I've used this term a lot, but just kind of ho-hum in what he's done week to week so far in fantasy.
46:15He has played 65% of the snaps, so that's a pretty good number for a running back.
46:20He's 10th in carries, 18th in scrimmage yards at that position.
46:23The rushing efficiency, underwhelming 3.46 yards per carry. We'd like to see that higher.
46:27We'd also like to see more touchdowns. One touchdown, two carries inside the five.
46:31Not a big role in the passing game. It's been very inconsistent.
46:34He has nine targets and 67 yards. And the bottom line is he's right around 11 fantasy points per game and is zero top 15 so far.
46:42So, again, he just kind of is kind of motoring along as like a borderline RB2, but hasn't had any big games yet.
46:48Did you see his comments? Jordan Renan, hold on, I'll pull it up.
46:52Jordan Renan said, after yesterday, I'm delighted to find out I'm finally playing for a team in the Irish Twins that want
46:58me to be a part of their locker room.
47:01So it feels like... Oh, that's my Borum League team.
47:03Oh, yes. Oh, yeah. Field did trade for Cam Scadaboo the other day.
47:07So a couple of questions for you. One note and then one question.
47:11He was limited yesterday in practice. He wore the non-contact jersey because of a shoulder issue, at least based off early reporting.
47:17Doesn't sound like he's in any peril of missing on Sunday, but just passing that along.
47:21His snap percentage did drop in week four. Did you make anything of that?
47:25Him and Najee Harris were kind of going series for series for a little while there.
47:30A lot of what I'm doing... Snaps is a good number, but obviously you don't get fantasy points for just being on the field.
47:36So I'm more focused on the carries and target numbers.
47:39So if anything, I think his target share projection went down a little bit because he's been kind of all over the map.
47:45In that department, it was low last week. So...
47:48We're panning. Come on. Certainly I'm using... Certainly I'm factoring Najee Harris into the backfield.
47:52I'm a normal... Just like I want to be a normal person right now.
47:56Najee Harris hasn't been on an NFL roster and comes back and gets this much work in his first game when Cam
48:02Scadaboo is supposed to be one of the futures of this franchise.
48:06There's a part of me that's like, what? Really?
48:08A guy that hasn't even been a part of the NFL for the last year and a half.
48:13But what are you panicking on? Like, do you think he's going to lose the starting job?
48:18Yes. Year and four days. No, it's the idea that we feel like we are going to bring in somebody that adds
48:24enough to our offense that didn't even play football over the last year rather than what we saw out of the rookie
48:30and what we thought he was going to be based on his rookie season.
48:34Still getting... Even last week, getting a lot of rushing volume.
48:37I feel like he's still going to hang in the top 20.
48:40I mean... That's what I mean. I don't know if Najee Harris' role is moving him from RB 20 to 30, right?
48:46I think he's still... Maybe 18 to 21 or something.
48:49It just caps the upside. There is... It caps the upside.
48:52Yeah. And by the way, Washington, I mentioned this earlier, they've been good against running backs so far.
48:57Jonathan Taylor is the only one to get to 11.
49:00So I don't want to get too carried away in Cam Scadaboo, but I think there's enough rushing volume and just enough
49:06in the passing game where if we get some more goal line work, he'll be fine.
49:11He'll just continue to be a serviceable... At some point, we'll just stop talking about him.
49:15Like, he'll just be a back-end RB2 every week.
49:18I hope so. You hope it's not Tony Pollard.
49:20You hope it's better than that, but I don't know.
49:23He's a tricky one. Amongst the outcomes that include Cam Scadaboo staying healthy, this is like bottom probably 25% of what you could expect from him.
49:30I was a Cam Scadaboo skeptic coming into the season because I was worried about them peeling back the workload a little
49:36bit for a guy that has dealt with so many injuries, including one last year and plays this really physical, rugged style of play.
49:43That being said, if you go around and look at volume around the NFL, that was...
49:47I mean, I'm in a 16-team league. That was the problem is that I'm otherwise strutting out a third string running back somewhere.
49:54I'm interested to see where you guys land on this because I am going to take the New York football giants in this game.
50:01I forget who I'm taking. I think I took the...
50:03Commanders! I'll take the Commanders at home. All right.
50:06Me and the producers on the Giants. All right.
50:08Next game, guys, here. Raiders and Patriots. I feel like there's going to be...
50:12This is a twofer as well. Field. There's definitely...
50:15Well, for the whole game. Another twofer. Okay. Okay.
50:17Ashton Gentey and Brock Bowers are obviously lineup locks for the Raiders.
50:21Right now, we got nothing on the New England Patriots side, guys.
50:24Let's talk about the running back room. Yeah. So, kind of an interesting one yesterday.
50:28Mike Vrabel at his press conference was asked about Mac Hollins and Ramondre Stevenson.
50:32He said, I don't anticipate Mac Hollins practicing today.
50:35Kind of paused, thought about it for a second and was like...
50:38And I don't anticipate Ramondre doing anything out there either.
50:41The media went, the local media went and reported that Ramondre Stevenson was not spotted during the media access portion of the practice report.
50:47How long is that practice, that media access? I think it's like 10, 15 minutes maybe.
50:52Okay. And then the practice report came out yesterday and Ramondre was listed as a limited participant.
50:57So, you know, it went from not looking very good at all to limited participant gives you some hope that he will play on Sunday.
51:04But if he does it, what do we know?
51:06Travion Henderson could be in a smash spot. Yeah.
51:09In back-to-back weeks last year without Ramondre Stevenson, Travion Henderson totaled 60.2 points.
51:12I remember those two 30-point games. It was just ridiculous.
51:15I think it was like 28 and 32. 32 is what it was?
51:19Okay. So, if Ramondre Stevenson is out, Travion Henderson managers will have themselves a much rosier outlook for Sunday.
51:24So, we'll keep an eye on this one. Based off of him being a limited participant yesterday, I still think there's a real chance that Ramondre plays.
51:31But if he doesn't, Travion will probably be ranked as high as any Patriots running back has been so far this season.
51:37That includes when Ramondre played without Travion in week one against the Seahawks.
51:41I like it. I like it. On the other side, obviously we have the running back and the wide receiver.
51:47I just want to mention really quickly, Kirk Cousins has scored 20-plus fantasy points in three straight games.
51:52All in! He's been doing it in kind of this way that is not really sustainable, it doesn't feel like, because there's zero rushing.
51:58I take that back. He's had four rushing yards over the last three games.
52:02It was .4 points. They could have won some people matchups.
52:05Yes. But he has negative two rushing yards on the season.
52:08So, that's not great either, guys. But at least multiple passing touchdowns in every single game taking on the Patriots here.
52:14This is a situation in which I just don't feel confident starting Kirk Cousins.
52:18I understand. I've seen the touchdown production. I've seen the way that it's worked.
52:22He is absolutely managing this offense really well. But from a fantasy perspective, I just feel like there are better streaming options
52:28in spite of the fact that I've seen three 20-point games on the board.
52:32I would still go another direction. If that burns me and we get four 20-point games in a row, then maybe I
52:38look at this and say, all right, with bye weeks upon us, we need to have a different conversation about Kirk Cousins.
52:44Also, yeah, I mean, he also, the Patriots are a legitimately good pass defense as well.
52:49Even without Christian Gonzalez, they kept Josh Allen in check last week.
52:52So, something that has inflated his numbers is the fact that they have 11, they have 12 offensive touchdowns so far, 11 have been passes so far.
53:00That's going to even itself out. Something I look at in addition to the percentage of touchdowns that are passes for an
53:06offense is essentially what that number should be based on their play calling, right?
53:10And that's 65%, but it's 92% right now. So, those numbers always start to merge as the season goes on.
53:15They're going to have more rushing touchdowns going forward.
53:18It's going to obviously benefit Ashton Gentey, who, was it Mike Washington who scored the only rushing touchdown for them?
53:23So, Gentey is all receiving. That didn't even occur to me until right now, and he's still been good in fantasy.
53:29But anyway, that will regress to the mean moving forward, which is something that's going to bring Kirk Cousins' fantasy output back to Earth.
53:36What matters the most for us is that Kirk Cousins just keeps putting the ball in the hands of Ashton Gentey and Brock Powers like we want.
53:43That's really plenty of volume. And the other thing that matters the most to us in this game is if Drake May
53:50performs up to expectation, then we can just stop Drake May conversations for at least some period of time.
53:55He can just be a lineup lock. I would love to get back to that point.
53:59Who are you guys taking in this one? Patriots get it done.
54:03You think so? Raiders. I am taking the Raiders.
54:05This one's in New England, right? I think New England gets rolling now.
54:09All right, we'll see about that one. Guys, Raheem Sanders long shot picks.
54:12We hit it last week. We sure did. Our producer Quentin hit with Torrey Horton this week.
54:17Really well done. We're going to do a couple more.
54:20I'm going with Elijah Higgins. You want to know why?
54:23Why is that? He's a tight end that plays against the Lions this week.
54:27You had that pick in early this week. Really early.
54:29He's a good athlete, good player. 0.1% rostered. Bryce Lancefield, I think we saw, didn't Mike need something from Bryce Lance this last week?
54:36He was expecting Bryce Lance. I was hoping for, because it was Alave against Drake London.
54:41That's what it was. That's what it was. And I needed Atlanta to have to throw the football because they were up
54:47big and I was like, oh, they're not going to throw it to London anymore.
54:51I needed some points. So I was like, can we get like a 74-yard bomb to Bryce Lance?
54:56And then Atlanta gets the ball back and has to throw.
54:59So Alave didn't get points. And sure enough, the next play is a bomb down the right sideline, like 50 yards down
55:05the field to Lance and he gets interfered with.
55:08Next play, they go deep to Lance again. And they were trying so hard to get it for me.
55:13Maybe it's this week. I have sort of three, usually my reasons for my pick and Raheem Sanders are just vibes.
55:19I got three reasons why I like Bryce Lance here.
55:21First of all, the Saints seem determined every single week to give him a few shots.
55:26He's an electric athlete. He's so, so fast. This, of course, is the brother of Trey Lance.
55:31Second of all, Tyler Shuck is one of the most aggressive quarterbacks in the NFL and we love it.
55:36Like there was that throw, I think it might have been to Bryce Lance where he's about to get walloped on Monday
55:42night and he just drives that thing down field and takes a huge hit in the backfield and he is unbothered by it.
55:48Three, the Vikings, Blitz happiest team in the NFL.
55:51Yeah. What do you do coverage wise behind a Blitz?
55:54You play man-to-man coverage. If the quarterback sees man-to-man with Bryce Lance, he's throwing the football to Bryce Lance because of his speed.
56:00It may be like a 62-yard touchdown, but as long as he goes into the end zone, I am good with Bryce
56:06Lance, even if it's just one catch. All right, so field eights in on Bryce Lance and George Pickens.
56:12That's right. That's right. Pickens might be a better bet.
56:14A little parlay with that one. There you go.
56:17What about you, Mike? Which one? Who are you going with?
56:20I'm going with tight end Eli Rardin, the number two tight end for New England.
56:24The first player to score a touchdown in the NFL this season.
56:27Yeah, he sure was, and now he's about to score a second touchdown of the season.
56:32Week four, he comes back. He missed a lot of time there with the injury.
56:36Comes back last week, plays 60% of the snaps for what should be a pretty good New England offense.
56:4140% route participation caught my eye as well. He scored that touchdown on week one.
56:46He has two end zone targets this season, which doesn't seem like many, but that's eighth most a tight end.
56:51Yeah. Like just getting a couple of wide receiver for them.
56:54That's another good point. No, Matt Collins is one of their bigger receivers and obviously an option near the goal line.
57:00And by the way, the Raiders have already allowed five tight end touchdowns so far this season.
57:05That is second most. The Raiders have also allowed just seven passing touchdowns this season, but six of them have come over the past two weeks.
57:12Did you know that they've allowed five touchdowns to tight ends so far this year?
57:16I did. I heard that just a few seconds ago.
57:19The wise sage man. Yes. Thank you. That's true.
57:22Our producers are going to go with Jacob Cowan.
57:24Producer Q hit last week. He asked us specifically in chat, does a special teams touchdown count?
57:29Yes. Punt return touchdown. He's looking for a punt return touchdown here going with Jacob Cowan.
57:33I did notice on this list where you could go to players up to 0.3% rostered.
57:38Mike really maxed that one out. He did. Yeah.
57:40I mean, the rest of us really took some longer shots there, but it's, I mean, they're all some of us just follow the rules.
57:47They're all shots, Mike. It's fine. It's no big deal.
57:50You want to win or not? All right. Let's dive into the mailbag a little bit.
57:54If you want to win, make sure that you follow along with our mailbag.
57:58Eric Moody is amazing. Hot barbecue ruffles. Love it when hot barbecue ruffles ask us questions.
58:03Who are we feeling at flex this week, guys?
58:05Aaron Jones, Bucky Irving, or Jalen Warren? I feel like one of the two of you paid more attention to this than I did.
58:12Did Rico Dado practice yesterday? I believe he was limited, right?
58:15If I'm not mistaken. I'll pull it back up.
58:18Rico's value, or sorry, Rico's appearance, obviously, you know, his practice status influences.
58:21Limited. Okay, limited. So, real chance that Rico plays on Sunday.
58:24I'm going to go with Aaron Jones here. Yeah, me too.
58:27I mean, the Saints have allowed the most fantasy points to running backs.
58:31We saw what happened last week. I mean, Aaron Jones, with that volume, with this matchup, excellent, excellent DFS.
58:36season long, whatever it is, he should be locked in the lineup.
58:40Cease the call here. Your weekly, your weeks of being able to utilize Aaron Jones with this level of volume are going
58:46to start shrinking very quickly once Jordan Mason, potentially.
58:48This is the last one? Five, two, three, four, five, and then I think they might have a bye next week, and
58:54then I believe Jordan Mason's back, if I'm not mistaken.
58:57I'm with you on that, Aaron Jones. All right, next question.
59:00This one comes from Brian Busseby wants to know, pick up and stream Aaron Rodgers, or would you stick with Sam Darnold?
59:06Caleb Williams is in the IR spot for them.
59:09This is a good one. I have these guys back to back, but I actually have Rodgers one spot ahead against the Colts.
59:15It's a much better matchup. Darnold has the 49ers, so if they're ever going to be stifled in a big divisional game
59:21against a good defense, this might be it. So I have no issue with Rodgers here.
59:26I have Sam Darnold ahead of Aaron Rodgers, but it's very close.
59:29Oof. I also have it very close, to be honest.
59:32They're right next to each other. I think I would go with Sam Darnold because I just like, I just think he
59:38has a better option in JSN to be able to Yeah, by the way, if you're in a situation where you're dropping
59:44a player and burning another roster spot to keep Darnold and Rodgers, that's probably not worthwhile.
59:49If you're dropping Darnold for Rodgers, I'm fine with that, but I don't want you to drop like a decent receiver or running back.
59:55Like, for example, to use our example from earlier, like in a 10 teamer, don't drop Debo Samuel to pick up Rodgers to stream over Sam Darnold, right?
60:03I agree. Just be more aware of what, how, the quality of the player that's on your bench.
60:08Next week, just to go a little farther, next week Sam Darnold gets the Denver Broncos and then the Kansas City Chiefs, so I don't like the matchups.
60:16You could probably drop Darnold. After this, immediately, Aaron.
60:18Yeah, very interesting though, to see how this Broncos defense looks this weekend.
60:22Oh, yeah. I know they're playing the Chargers, but Pat Sertan's not going to play.
60:26Riley Moss sounds like he's very uncertain. Those are their two best corners by a long shot, and if they're not going
60:32to play on Sunday, it doesn't bode well for them to play on Thursday.
60:36Aaron Rodgers taking on Indy this week, the next two, Tampa Bay and New Orleans, so you like those matchups quite a bit more.
60:43So I guess if I had to look at the next couple weeks and I wanted this to be a multi-week streaming
60:49option, I might go with Aaron Rodgers over Sam.
60:52Again, and we talked about this, I think, on Monday, like Rodgers is trying to push him down the field.
60:57I mean, it's not like he's going to add a lot with his legs or be a fantasy star, but there could
61:03be enough there to be a QB too. Don't keep them both.
61:07Keep Aaron Rodgers. Caleb Williams on the IR. When Caleb Williams comes back, you drop Aaron Rodgers, you're good to go.
61:12All right, one more question. This one comes from Reggie Richen wants to know, oh, no.
61:17Oh, Amari in Hampton or Josh Downs? I'm more than Amari in Hampton.
61:21Man, this is such a close call. I mean, at least one of them is getting targets.
61:25Like, I don't know. Look, I'm going to go Downs here.
61:28I know he disappointed last week, but he had 20 targets over the prior two games, 70 plus yards in both of them.
61:35He's not a big touchdown scorer, but he'll usually get around four or five.
61:39Like, he's going to find the end zone at some point.
61:42Like, I'm going to lean Downs here. I'm just really worried about Hampton.
61:45I mean, the floor with him is just so low right now.
61:49So, he's not even getting enormous rushing volume. He's nothing in the passing game.
61:53I'm leaning Downs. I think I would lean on Amari in Hampton.
61:56It's close call. I don't feel good with it though, guys.
61:59I just think the floor with Downs is higher despite what happened last week.
62:03All right, we got a really quick little bit of news.
62:06We're going to throw up a tweet before we get out of here.
62:10John Kime asked David Blau if Jaden Daniels has any challenges coming back off an injury, any limitations, what the game plan is.
62:16Blau said, quote, he is full go. All right, stuff right.
62:19That's great news. Let's get him going. Yes. I want rookie season Jaden Daniels back.
62:23Let's go. Run the ball, throw the ball. We have good, hopefully Terry plays.
62:27They have everybody there. Like, you know, as a football fan, you don't want to see him thrive because I'm an Eagles fan.
62:34Because you're an Eagles fan. Yes. Like in fantasy, come on.
62:37Like, Jaden was so fun his rookie year. Like, I want to see him get back to what he was.
62:42Let's go, Jaden. Have fun watching Thursday Night Football.
62:45Make sure you utilize the flex spot appropriately with your Thursday Night Football matchups, guys.
62:49Let's talk about this for a second. I think people sometimes overlook it.
62:52And Pierre, one of our editors of ESPN, wanted to remind us.
62:56So do you want to walk through the mechanics of the flex spot?
62:59It is really valuable that make sure when you have someone playing on Thursday, you will not be able to move them out of your roster.
63:07So the best thing for you to be able to do is put them at the actual position they're going to be
63:13playing at, giving yourself the flexibility to have a player in the flex that you can change later on in the week
63:19in case something happens or an injury takes place or you need to pivot to a larger matchup.
63:24You just want to make sure that you are not playing someone in the flex because you're then taking away that advantage
63:30that you have to be able to pivot later on on Sunday.
63:33Exactly. Even if you have Puka Nakua, if Emeka Abuka is also in your lineup and you're going to play him, put him in at wide receiver.
63:41Yep. Because just in case something happens with Puka Nakua and the only player you have available to pivot to for Monday night is Blake Corum.
63:48Well, if you played Emeka Abuka at flex. You could have played Blake Corum.
63:52Right. You would not have the ability to play a wide receiver because you only have Blake Corum left.
63:57So if a player in your roster is going in either a Thursday night game, a Sunday morning game, a Saturday afternoon
64:04game, or even in a one o'clock slate and your other wide receivers or other running backs are playing in 4pm or
64:10later, always tap into that player's natural position before you get to the flex.
64:14Love it. All right, guys. That's going to do it for us.
64:17Thanks for hanging out with us. Come back and hang out again tomorrow.
64:21Don't forget to love each other and be kind to yourself.
