Aaron Jones

NegativeRole47:21

Rushed for over 100 yards and a touchdown in Week 5, but this production level may not be sustainable; Jordan Mason is expected to return in Week 7 after the Packers' bye in Week 6, which will likely reduce Aaron Jones's role and fantasy value going forward.

Insight page

Aaron Rodgers

PositiveProjection8:00

Aaron Rodgers threw for 235 yards and 3 touchdowns in Week 5, marking the third straight week with 3 TDs and the third consecutive game over 20 fantasy points. He's QB6 in fantasy points per game over the last three weeks. Travels to Tampa Bay in Week 6.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

NegativeUsage49:31

Saw some snaps in Week 5 against the Vikings; the Saints running back room is characterized as low upside in general, and Kamara's snap involvement in this game is noted but not elaborated with specific production or role clarity.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

NegativeProjection65:56

Scored 15.8 fantasy points in Week 5, which is a passable total in isolation but disappointing relative to Jameer Gibbs' 37.7-point performance in the same game; the comparison dynamic makes Robinson's output feel underwhelming despite solid play with multiple explosive runs and no touchdown.

Insight page
PositiveRole66:24

Looked awesome in Week 5 with multiple explosive runs despite not finding the end zone; Express Delivery expects Robinson will be fine going forward and notes he consistently performs well.

Insight page

Bo Nix

NegativeProjection58:48

Bo Nix is under 14.5 fantasy points in all but one game so far this year. Express Delivery doesn't want to start him if they don't have to, citing the Broncos' dysfunctional offense that spread carries and targets across 16 different players.

Insight page

Brenton Strange

PositiveProjection18:00

Brenton Strange had back-to-back weeks with 8 targets, 7 catches, and at least 13 fantasy points. He's in the low-end tight end one conversation, especially heading into Week 6 when Travis Kelce, Sam Laporte, T.J. Hockenson, and Mike Kosicki are all on bye.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveProjection4:00

Brock Bowers is TE5 for the season despite missing two games. He has scored at least 20 fantasy points in every game played and is averaging close to 24 points per game, compared to Trey McBride's 19 points per game. Described as the biggest single positional difference maker in the game right now and will be in lineups every single week.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

NegativeProjection8:25

Purdy scored 16 fantasy points in Week 5 against Seattle despite a tough matchup; the source warned beforehand that he was in a difficult spot, and his performance was aided by an 11-yard touchdown drive early in the game, suggesting the score was not as impressive as it appeared.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

PositiveProjection40:47

Scored 20.9 fantasy points in Week 5; back-to-back weeks with over 20 fantasy points, demonstrating consistent high-end QB production.

Insight page
PositiveProjection41:04

Scored 20.9 fantasy points in Week 5, marking back-to-back weeks with over 20 fantasy points; benefited from six points via rushing touchdown.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

NegativeMatchup43:46

Despite being positioned as a potential smash spot against the Texans—a defense that had allowed at least 18 fantasy points to wide receivers—Tate managed only one catch in Week 5 against Tennessee. The source attributes this to the Titans offense being inconsistent and weaker than other NFL offenses; even in perceived good matchups, the offense may not produce. The quarterback situation is described as streaky, making it difficult to rely on consistent production from Tate despite favorable defensive matchups.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup43:50

Was expected to be a smash spot against the Texans given wide receivers' success (at least 18 fantasy points) against Houston so far, but caught only one pass in the game against Tennessee; performance did not look great.

Insight page
NegativeRole44:04

The Titans offense is characterized as boom-or-bust for Tate; some weeks will be strong, others will disappoint. The offense lacks a clear number-one target hierarchy and a strong run game to stabilize production, compounded by a streaky quarterback. This volatility makes Tate difficult to project week-to-week despite his talent.

Insight page

Chris Olave

NegativeMatchup49:31

Played in Week 5 against the Vikings, a tough defensive matchup that resulted in a throwaway game from a fantasy perspective; Express Delivery expects better days ahead for Olave despite the poor Week 5 performance against Brian Flores's aggressive Vikings defense.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeDepth Chart17:00

Chris Rodriguez had just 2 rushing attempts in Week 5, confirming Bazial Tootin as the clear lead back in the Jaguars backfield.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveProjection40:31

McCaffrey scored over 17 fantasy points and played 80% of snaps in Week 5; positioned as a mid-tier RB4-RB6 option who will play when games matter, with the source noting he's not definitively behind Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, or Kenneth Walker III, and some analysts prefer him to Kyron Williams and Derrick Henry.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveProjection30:02

Christian Watson led the Packers in targets and receiving yards in Week 5, catching 6 of 8 for 143 yards and 2 touchdowns for 32.3 fantasy points; this was the second time all season he has cleared 30 fantasy points, with the first occurrence in Week 1 against the Vikings, demonstrating his ability to produce elite fantasy performances against division opponents.

Insight page

Courtland Sutton

NegativeProjection59:12

Cortland Sutton scored a touchdown and finished with 9.8 fantasy points (6 points plus a catch for 7 points from the TD catch alone). Despite the touchdown, his production is limited by the Broncos' dysfunctional offense, which spread targets across 16 different players and utilized nine different pass-catchers in one game.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeInjury66:02

Not 100% healthy heading into Monday Night Football against the Rams; official word pending as of the podcast recording, with confirmation expected at 6:50 PM. He traveled with the team, which is a positive sign, but his status remains uncertain.

Insight page

Darius Cooper

NegativeRole21:15

Not interested in starting Cooper despite recent touchdown; Express Delivery is not chasing touchdowns in the Eagles passing game due to lack of consistent volume and opportunity.

Insight page

Darnell Mooney

NegativeRole27:53

Mentioned in context of Jameis Winston's Week 5 performance; jawing with Winston during game noted as part of vintage Jameis Winston game where he kept both teams in the contest.

Insight page

Davante Adams

PositiveProjection66:48

Designated as a must-start (chalk) for the Rams offense in Monday Night Football against the Bills; Express Delivery considers him an automatic lineup inclusion.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveInjury40:43

Got banged up this week in Houston against the Texans; had been struggling and trending the wrong direction as an RB2 prior to injury, opening opportunity for Woody Marks to take over with every snap and become heavily added waiver target available in over 50% of leagues.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

NegativeBust39:06

Early-season struggles and injury have given way to Ollie Gordon's emergence; Achan had turned out to be touchdown dependent early in the season without receiving game work, and Gordon's success may reflect Achan's misfortune rather than a fundamental change in the offense.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

NegativeInjury61:48

Debo Samuel suffered a hamstring injury in Week 5 and was already ruled out, leaving Mike Evans as the only healthy option in the Niners wide receiver room.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveUsage63:41

Derrick Henry had 102 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown in Week 5 against the Falcons, demonstrating continued involvement in the Ravens offense even with Tyler Huntley at quarterback. This receiving production is a positive sign for his fantasy value.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeDepth Chart21:50

Smith was absent from Week 5 game against the Eagles; his return is expected to provide a lift to the Eagles passing game, though the primary issue remains Jalen Hurts' reduced rushing efficiency due to offensive line problems.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveUsage64:42

Drake London had 118 receiving yards in Week 5 against the Ravens but did not score a touchdown. The source wanted more production to go toward London rather than Kyle Pitts, but acknowledges 118 yards is still solid production.

Insight page
NegativeRole65:33

Express Delivery notes that Michael Penix's potential absence due to rib injury would impact the ranking and starting decisions for Drake London, but would not eliminate him from consideration; the quarterback change would affect deployment strategy but not overall roster inclusion.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveProjection2:00

Drake May was QB1 for Week 5 with 39.5 fantasy points despite missing A.J. Brown, Mac Hollister, and Travion Henderson (injured early). He's now QB10 for the season after three straight games under 10 points to start the year. Over the next five weeks (Jets, Bears, Dolphins, Packers, Lions), all matchups support top-10 QB status going forward.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveRole63:07

Emmanuel Wilson is the lead back for the Seahawks backfield in Charbonnet's absence, scoring 13.2 fantasy points in Week 5 despite the team's overall backfield dysfunction. He remains the primary option until Charbonnet returns.

Insight page

George Holani

NegativeRole62:58

George Helani had two fumbles in Week 5—one he recovered and one the 49ers recovered for a touchdown at the end of the first half—contributing to the Seahawks' backfield dysfunction. Despite the fumbles, he still managed 13.2 fantasy points.

Insight page

George Kittle

NegativeProjection61:55

Kittle had a dud performance in Week 5 with 5 catches for 24 yards, though the source notes he remains part of the Niners' core fantasy options alongside CMC and Purdy.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveUsage28:03

Isaiah Likely received 13 of 54 passes in Week 5, making him the second-most targeted player in the Ravens offense behind Malik Neighbors; together, Neighbors and Likely accounted for 33 of 54 total team passes, showing a highly concentrated target distribution.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeProjection21:46

Hurts is no longer a starting-caliber quarterback due to collapsed rushing touchdown production; he has only one rushing touchdown through five games versus his historical average of eight-plus rushing touchdowns per season and four-plus in four straight prior seasons, with three consecutive seasons of 13-plus rushing touchdowns. The decline stems from offensive line absences and exits that have reduced his rushing efficiency and upside.

Insight page
NegativeProjection22:18

Through five games, Hurts has recorded only one rushing touchdown, eliminating the rushing upside that previously defined his fantasy ceiling. In Week 5 against the Bears, rushing accounted for just 1.5% of his fantasy points on two rushes for two yards. The source states 'the days of Jalen Hurts being an elite fantasy quarterback are on ice,' positioning him as QB20 and averaging 0.2 more fantasy points per game than Deshaun Watson but 0.6 fewer than Aaron Rodgers.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection65:59

Designated as a lineup lock for Monday Night Football against the Rams; Express Delivery considers him a must-start in this matchup.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

NegativeRole59:00

Javonte Williams is part of the Broncos' dysfunctional running back situation. The Broncos spread carries across multiple backs, and Express Delivery notes the running back situation is a dead zone. Williams is not recommended for fantasy play.

Insight page

Jaxon Smith-Njigba

NegativeInjury62:31

JSN was clearly battling an ankle injury in Week 5 and refused medical attention during the game; Fox broadcast noted he was not sounding alarms for Thursday night. Expect possible DNP designations in practice leading up to Thursday night game.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeRole8:25

Held responsible for situational awareness issue in Week 5 game; comparison made that if this were Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, or Patrick Mahomes, the fundamental mistake would be more egregious; protected his elbow; Commanders should have won the game but tied instead.

Insight page
NegativeRole25:05

In a non-fantasy context regarding situational awareness in the NFC East's winless week, the source critiques Daniels' decision-making at the end of a game, suggesting that as the franchise leader, he should demonstrate the fundamental awareness expected of elite quarterbacks like Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, or Patrick Mahomes.

Insight page
PositiveProjection28:20

Jaden Daniels finished as QB2 for Week 5 despite a late-game turnover; he was efficient as a passer (17-for-25, 199 yards) and added significant rushing production with 9 rushes for 103 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns, demonstrating dual-threat upside even in a game where the Commanders struggled overall.

Insight page
NegativeRole28:40

Despite Jaden Daniels' strong individual performance in Week 5, the broader Commanders offense lacks consistent fantasy contributors week-to-week; Stephon Diggs was absent, Terry McLaurin scored only 12.2 fantasy points, and Bill Krosky-Meritt had zero targets despite a rushing touchdown, making the Commanders a 'stay away offense' for most skill positions outside of Daniels himself.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveUsage10:00

Jalen Warren touched the ball 21 times for 188 scrimmage yards and 2 TDs (36.8 fantasy points) in Week 5. He's cleared 125 scrimmage yards for three straight weeks and is RB6 in total fantasy points and RB2 in receiving yards since the season start. He's the clear pass-game target for Aaron Rodgers and will remain a starter even if Rico Dowdle returns, though snap share may decrease from current levels.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeProjection12:00

Jonathan Taylor had 15 carries for 45 yards and 3 catches for 37 yards (11.2 fantasy points) in Week 5, failing to find the end zone. Despite the down week, he remains a dominant player at the position and is not a concern going forward.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveProjection65:54

Designated as a lineup lock for Monday Night Football against the Rams; Express Delivery considers him a must-start in this matchup.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeProjection13:00

Josh Downs continued to disappoint in Week 5, converting just 3 of 6 targets. He remains a source of frustration for fantasy managers.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeBust57:12

Express Delivery is out on Justin Herbert entirely; not even benching him but cutting him from consideration. The Chargers offense is dysfunctional under Mike McDaniel, and Herbert is deemed unplayable in fantasy.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

PositiveProjection47:29

Delivered 18 fantasy points in Week 5 against the Vikings; made a ridiculous touchdown catch with three defenders around him on what was an ill-advised throw by Kyler Murray, but the play still worked and showcases Jefferson's elite ability to create in contested situations.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

NegativeRole57:22

Keaton Mitchell is part of the Chargers' three-way running back committee alongside Kamani Vidal and Omari Hampton. Express Delivery notes Mitchell shows some explosive plays but doesn't want to play any of these Chargers running backs unless forced to.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeUsage13:00

Keenan Allen drew 9 targets in Week 5 but was inefficient, catching just 5 for 45 yards. He continues to deal with health issues but remains in the target mix for the Colts.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

PositiveValue66:30

If DJ Moore is ruled out for Monday Night Football, Keon Coleman becomes a top-30 wide receiver play; Express Delivery notes that Coleman would be a strong fill-in option for managers who added him off waivers, though Monday Night Football timing limits flexibility.

Insight page

Kimani Vidal

NegativeRole57:22

Kamani Vidal scored a touchdown for 12.6 fantasy points but is part of a full-on committee backfield with Keaton Mitchell and Omari Hampton. Express Delivery notes Vidal has shown legitimately great plays but doesn't want to play any of these Chargers running backs unless forced to.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveBreakout64:24

Kyle Pitts scored his first touchdown of the season in Week 5 against the Ravens, marking a potential breakout moment for the Falcons tight end after a slow start to the season.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeProjection48:38

Scored 18.2 fantasy points in Week 5 against the Saints, but Express Delivery expresses no faith in him as a quarterback option; through three full healthy games, Kyler has only two passing touchdowns, which does not inspire confidence despite his legs being back and his performance against a weak Saints defense.

Insight page

Malik Washington

NegativeRole6:49

Remains Willis' favorite target; caught 6 of 8 balls for 43 receiving yards but has yet to find the end zone despite favorable matchup against Bengals' defense.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveRole41:27

Traded to Houston Texans; managers should expect a limited role in his first game in London due to short practice time with the team, but the theoretical value in Houston is better than zero value in Arizona; the trade becomes more interesting if Houston wins on Sunday.

Insight page
NegativeBreakout41:57

The test going forward is whether Marvin Harrison Jr. is as advertised skill-set wise; if he fails on two separate teams, it raises questions about whether it's a talent issue or a scheme/team fit issue; the speaker is willing to bench a huge game to see the results before believing in him.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

PositiveMatchup66:54

Legitimate streaming option for Monday Night Football against the Bills; Express Delivery notes the matchup is favorable with an over/under of 54.5 and Drake May posted QB1 numbers against Buffalo last week, suggesting high-scoring potential. Starting Stafford in this spot is not a mistake if he's available.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

NegativeInjury65:06

Michael Penix Jr. might be out next week against the Bears due to a rib injury; an MRI on his ribs was scheduled. This injury could impact the fantasy value of Falcons receivers and the offense overall.

Insight page
NegativeInjury65:20

Scheduled for an MRI on his ribs and may be out next week against the Bears; the injury status will impact the Falcons offense and affect fantasy decisions for Bijan Robinson and Drake London.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveProjection61:45

Evans scored 26.3 fantasy points in Week 5, described as 'ridiculous' and 'amazing' performance where he 'turned the clock back'; positioned as one of the great values and the only healthy option in the Niners wide receiver room with Debo Samuel ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeRole41:15

Nico Collins remains consistent in his role regardless of game performance; described as 'going to keep being that guy' in the Texans offense.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

NegativeBust38:57

Sixth-round pick has rushed for 88 yards and a score on 18 carries for 14.8 fantasy points and managed a rushing touchdown in three straight games with third straight 14+ fantasy point effort, but Express Delivery expresses concern about sustainability; Gordon is touchdown dependent with minimal passing game work and low-end RB2 floor, contrasting with Devon Achan's early-season struggles and suggesting Gordon may be benefiting from luck and favorable matchups rather than elite skill set.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveRole18:00

Parker Washington is the only Jaguars receiver being trusted week-in and week-out. He's compared to Amon-Ra St. Brown in terms of his leveled-up role—a small, not-particularly-fast player being utilized in multiple ways at or near the line of scrimmage, similar to how St. Brown has evolved.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout19:19

Washington has leveled up as a receiver, drawing comparisons to Amon Ross St. Brown in terms of playmaking ability and chip-on-shoulder mentality despite being undersized and not the fastest; drafted in the sixth round like Ross was in the fourth, he's making ridiculous catches and adding value to his contract extension through five weeks.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

PositiveProjection11:00

Pat Freiermuth converted 7 targets into 5 catches for 44 yards and 2 TDs in Week 5, marking his third touchdown of the season. He's a consistent target in the Steelers passing game.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveProjection66:48

Designated as a must-start (chalk) for the Rams offense in Monday Night Football against the Bills; Express Delivery considers him an automatic lineup inclusion.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveRole3:00

If Travion Henderson misses time, Ramondre Stevenson is expected to see significant volume. Described as a player who gets counted out but has nine lives in fantasy; not a superstar but will ham-and-egg his way to mid-tier, low-end RB status. Projected around RB15 in rankings against the Jets if Henderson is out.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

NegativeDepth Chart10:00

Rico Dowdle is expected to return in Week 6 after missing time. However, Jalen Warren's dominance in the passing game and Aaron Rodgers' preference for him as a safety valve means Warren will remain a starter. If Dowdle returns, snap share will likely move closer to 65-35 split rather than full committee, but Warren's role is secure.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

NegativeInjury11:00

Roman Wilson hurt his finger and is expected to miss some time. His absence opened up receiving opportunities for Jeremy Bernard in Week 5.

Insight page

Ryan Williams

PositiveProjection66:48

Designated as a must-start (chalk) for the Rams offense in Monday Night Football against the Bills; Express Delivery considers him an automatic lineup inclusion.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

NegativeProjection60:13

Darnold had two bad interceptions in Week 5 against the Niners, with the source noting he 'was all over the place,' suggesting inconsistent and poor performance.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeProjection28:42

Terry McLaurin scored 12.2 fantasy points in Week 5 and has had a 'ho-hum season' overall; despite Jaden Daniels' strong performance, McLaurin remains an unreliable fantasy option week-to-week in the Commanders offense.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveProjection17:00

Trevor Lawrence had 331 passing yards and 2 TDs in Week 5 against the Eagles in London. While the game didn't look pretty overall, Lawrence looked good from a fantasy perspective for those who used him.

Insight page

Tua Tagovailoa

NegativeProjection65:33

Came in during overtime and immediately threw an interception to Kyle Hamilton, which could negatively impact fantasy decisions for Falcons receivers like Bijan Robinson and Drake London depending on whether Michael Penix can play.

Insight page

Tyler Huntley

PositiveProjection63:52

Tyler Huntley looked fantastic in relief of Lamar Jackson, posting 24 for 32 passing, 201 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, and one rushing touchdown for 24 fantasy points. He got Zay Flowers involved and maintained Derrick Henry's usage, suggesting strong fantasy viability if Lamar misses additional time.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveProjection13:00

Tyler Warren scored a rushing touchdown in Week 5 and was tied for the team high in targets with 9 looks, converting 7 for 83 receiving yards. His 21.4 fantasy points was his highest total of the season, driven by the rushing score.

Insight page

Will Shipley

NegativeInjury20:54

Shipley suffered an injury in Week 5 against the Eagles, removing him from consideration as a viable running back option in a backfield already depleted by Tank Bigsby and Saquon Barkley absences.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveRole40:43

Comes in to play every snap following David Montgomery's injury; will be a very heavily added waiver target this week and available in over 50% of leagues, with significant opportunity ahead.

Insight page
PositiveRole40:51

With David Montgomery injured, Marks plays every snap and will be a heavily added waiver target this week; available in over 50% of leagues.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeRole63:04

Zach Charbonnet's return timeline is uncertain; the source notes the Seahawks backfield problem will persist until Charbonnet or another option emerges to challenge Emmanuel Wilson's current lead role.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveRole63:58

Zay Flowers remained involved in the Ravens offense with Tyler Huntley at quarterback, which is a key positive indicator. The source emphasizes that if Lamar Jackson misses time, Zay Flowers and Derrick Henry are the two guys to ensure stay involved in the offense.

0:34It's a little chilly. But she went to college in England.
0:37Yeah, that's true. In Rhode Island. I love this season.
0:40I bit my tongue when Daniel said, like, it's an upgrade.
0:43I can't bite my tongue no more. Oh! It's an upgrade.
0:47Big upgrade. That's right. You always make me feel so well.
0:50Oh, gosh. It's going to be a lot of fun.
0:53Mike, take the rest of the year off. We're going to dive into a bunch of fun games today, guys.
0:59It's what we love. Of course. We wouldn't say that.
1:01And by the way, you're not going to be here tomorrow.
1:05Liz is holding it down for me tomorrow. Yeah.
1:07We're going to have me, Mike, and Liz. No, we'll see how that one goes.
1:12But we've got a lot of fun stuff to dive into today.
1:15A Week 5 recap. We're going to do a quick Monday Night Football preview.
1:19Shout out to our friends over at Trophy Smack, even though they beat me this week in the Fantasy Focus Show League.
1:26Did they? They did. Yep. He auto-drafted, and his team is really good.
1:29Go to TrophySmack.com. Use the promo code TrophyWeek6 for 10% off your order there.
1:34You can grab something fun for your league. And with that, let's dive into what was a fun game if you were a Patriots fan, Field?
1:41Yeah. On top of that, by the way, we will have not breaking news, but we'll have reaction to breaking news from yesterday.
1:48That's right. Which is a huge trade involving a guy that we once thought was going to be a fantasy superstar.
1:54The Patriots absolutely wax the Raiders 45-17. Hey, hey.
1:57Trigger warning. You're not allowed to say that anymore.
1:59Gosh. The Patriots absolutely shave off the Raiders. 45-17.
2:02And guys, Drake Mayee is back. Yes, he is.
2:04Drake May is all the way back. Depending on what happens tonight in Monday Night Football, then Josh Allen hasn't played this week.
2:11So it's still possible. It's in the bag, yeah.
2:14But Drake May, as of right now, quarterback one for the week.
2:17He was quarterback one last week as well. As we record this show, Drake May is already back up to quarterback 10 for the season, guys.
2:25He had three straight games to begin the year under 10 fantasy points.
2:29It would take a pretty Herculean effort for Matthew Stafford to jump over Drake May.
2:33So he'll probably enter week six as a top 10 quarterback.
2:36And this Raiders team, like I don't think this is Drake May doing this to the Seahawks defense, but this Raiders team,
2:43there were three and one coming into this game and they nearly beat Kansas City last week.
2:48This is a real team he did this against.
2:50And they had not been surrendering a ton to opposing quarterbacks.
2:53And on top of that, Drake May had no A.J.
2:56Brown. Yes. No Mac Holland. Travion Henderson gets hurt really early in this game.
3:00We'll talk about that in a minute. The Patriots offensive line, bunch of injuries there.
3:05Drake May was throwing to Pop Douglas and Eftem Chisholm.
3:08Romeo Dobbs had one catch yesterday and Drake May still went off for 39.5 fantasy points.
3:12He was unbelievable. And here's the schedule coming up for Drake May over the next five games.
3:17Yes, please. Tell me any of these that say to you, all right, I'm scared.
3:22I'm worried that like that under 10 fantasy points performance is coming again.
3:25Yep. We got the Jets. We got the Bears.
3:28We got the Dolphins. We got the Packers. We got the Lions.
3:32All of those teams are, all those games are ones in which Drake May will be right back inside our top 10.
3:38We're not going to be talking about Drake May in the rankings portion of the program.
3:43He was awesome. Travion Henderson got hurt. He played just 18.2% of the snaps.
3:47And think back to week one when Ramondre Stevenson played a ton against Seattle because there was no Travion Henderson.
3:52Yep. I think if Henderson's going to miss some time, you can expect something like that going forward.
3:58Ramondre is one of those guys. He's kind of like a cat in fantasy football, right?
4:02You count him out. He's got nine lives though.
4:05Okay. Not a superstar. Yep. Right? But kind of going to ham and egg his way to mid-tier, probably low-end RB status.
4:11For rankings purposes, with no Jameer Gibbs and four teams going to buy next week.
4:16I think Ramondre, assuming Travion is out, will probably be somewhere around RB15 in our rankings against the Jets.
4:21For the Patriots, while Pop Duggos had a huge game yesterday, there's really no Patriots pass catcher.
4:26Right now you're saying to yourself, all right, got to lock him in, even with Drake May being back.
4:32The Raiders had a couple of interesting things to me.
4:35And we did see Fernando Mendoza at the end of this game.
4:38I don't think we're quite on Mendoza watch yet, guys.
4:41But it was cool to see him out there.
4:44He did have 48 passing yards on six for eight attempts.
4:47Two things here for the Raiders. One, Brock Bowers is just ridiculous.
4:50Super good at football. He's already tight end five for the season and he missed two games.
4:55Insane. He's had at least 20 fantasy points in every game.
4:59I think he's the biggest single positional difference maker in the game right now.
5:03Right now. And Trey McBride's awesome. He had another great game yesterday.
5:06And he's under 19 fantasy points per game. Brock Bowers is close to 24.
5:10That's ridiculous how good Brock Bowers is. But Brock's going to be in our lineup every single week.
5:16To me, the most interesting part that I think bears monitoring going forward is Ashton Gentry, who yesterday the Raiders seemed like they were being very careful with.
5:24This game got out of hand and they yanked him.
5:27But Ashton Gentry had just 27 rushing yards, 10 carries for 27 rushing yards.
5:31A couple weeks ago, I brought the debate to the table.
5:34And this is before we knew about this foot injury.
5:37Is Ashton Gentry more mid-tier RB2 than low-end RB1?
5:39I was concerned by the incredibly inefficient rushing opportunities for Ashton Gentry.
5:43And the passing game stuff is really good. It was good again yesterday.
5:47Three catches, 50 yards. But until we see better rushing efficiency between that and this injury that I think the Raiders are
5:53going to have to manage for a while, I think Ashton Gentry is more like a, not mid-tier RB2, but a stronger end RB2 than a legit RB1.
6:01Any disagreement there from you guys? I don't disagree.
6:04I think it bums me out that he's not operating at 100% because with this offense, if he was operating at 100%
6:10in this offense, I'd be fine with it. But this offense, we've already downgraded a little bit because it's the Raiders.
6:16They don't have as much touchdown equity. They're not going to push the ball down the field nearly as much.
6:22Like, there's not as much there. So with him not operating at full potential, would you rather just have the Raiders throw
6:29him on IR for four weeks as a fantasy manager?
6:32I don't think that's going to happen. But I do.
6:34Does he miss a week? No mention. Maybe. He said something to the effect of like, I think the Raiders would at
6:41least consider whether they need to give him a week to rest, Liz.
6:45And it feels like the kind of guy that needs a week to rest right now.
6:49I think that that makes sense. I just wish Mike Washington was more available as a pass catcher.
6:55I wish he had more receiving appeal. He was not a player in college that was used that much in the receiving game.
7:01We know he has great speed and we know he's a great downhill rusher, but I think he's much more game script dependent.
7:08And that's what makes Ashton Gentry so tricky in terms of where you place him because he can be used even if game script isn't going his way.
7:16You mentioned the receiving work. So yes, I would like to see him rest up.
7:20But I also, we were just talking about before the show started running back and how you need somebody.
7:26So yes, we might have to rank him as a high end RB2 instead of a low end RB1, but we're not.
7:32What does that mean for managers though? Right? Like you still have to roll him out, you know?
7:38So it's like, you know, well, that's, I think that will be a question.
7:42Is that like, if he misses two practices this week, are you still going to absolutely without question, roll them out?
7:48And also it comes down to like, how many of these players are the difference between winning and not winning a championship?
7:54You can win a championship with Ashton Gentry right now.
7:57Now, if this efficiency and this injury lingers, I don't think you win a championship because of Ashton Gentry.
8:03I agree with that. We did see Dylan Lobby, by the way, yesterday.
8:07He was playing a decent amount even before the game got out of hand.
8:11Last thing for me on this game. If we were to do a mini quarterback draft right now, going forward, Josh Allen's going to go number one.
8:18Yep. Who's going number two for you guys for the rest of the season amongst all quarterbacks, knowing what we know through five weeks?
8:25Is it Brock Purdy? Is it Aiden Daniels? Lamar Jackson?
8:28Who's healthy? Not healthy? Is it Drake May? It's really hard for me to say Drake May because the first three weeks
8:35of the season did happen and that's factored into overall.
8:38I mean, there are some people who are working their way out of a whole three weeks into the season.
8:44Yeah. This is just for the rest of the year.
8:46Okay. If it's not like who's going to finish this QB2, but if we started the clock in week six and went forward.
8:53That's a tough question. It is a good question because we're sitting here perseverating over it, right?
8:58Yeah. I don't, I think I would still rather have Lamar Jackson.
9:02Okay. I just think that there's part of this is Drake May did some things and you talked about it that like,
9:08I don't think I expect him to do. I don't expect him to have 374 passing yards with Efton Chisholm and Pop Douglas more often than not.
9:16Doesn't mean that it's not in his bag to be able to do some things.
9:20Yeah. But like, I, I'm not sure that I view him there.
9:24I do definitely view him as back into my top seven without question.
9:28Like, I feel like there's no way I'm benching him, especially with the schedule that you just talked about.
9:33I mean, I think it's at least possible that Drake is QB2 the rest of the way, which is a testament to how talented he is.
9:41I mean, totally just a ridiculous performance from him yesterday.
9:44That's all I got on the Patriots and the Raiders.
9:46All right. Well, I'm going to take over for the Colts and the Steelers because there's another quarterback who is surprising.
9:53Oh my God. We'll start with Aaron Rodgers took care of business at home, beating the Colts by a score of 34 to 22.
10:00Rodgers was mistake free in a home effort against the Colts.
10:03He completed 22 of 31 for 235 passing yards and three touchdowns.
10:06That makes the third week in a row in which he's thrown for three scores.
10:11He's also now cleared 20 fantasy points in three straight efforts, making him the QB6 in fantasy points per game over the last three weeks.
10:18Right? That is a mind blow when you contextualize everything.
10:21He'll travel to Tampa Bay in week six and we'll see if the Bucs can do to him what they did to Dak Prescott.
10:28I'm not really holding my breath. Other standouts, obviously Jalen Warren, who continues to be a star while Rico Dowdle is out of the lineup.
10:35Warren touched the ball 21 times for 188 scrimmage yards, two touchdowns, one on the ground, one through the air, and that was good for 36.8 fantasy points.
10:43Warren has now cleared 125 scrimmage yards for three straight weeks.
10:46Remember, Rico Dowdle has only been out for two, which leads me to my next point because right now there are whispers
10:53of Rico Dowdle returning in week six. But I'm still starting Warren regardless of Dowdle's availability also because of his dominance in
10:59the passing game and because we know Aaron Rodgers needs a safety valve.
11:03Kenny Gainwell went to the pirate ship and now Jalen Warren, who was in second place in that regard last year, now gets a promotion of sorts.
11:11We will take it. He's the RB six and catches the RB two in receiving yards since the start of the season.
11:17Other performances of note got Pat Fryermuth, who converted seven to five for 44 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
11:23That was the third time this season he found the end zone.
11:26Michael Pittman, obviously on IR, which made an opportunity for Jeremy Bernard, who drew nine targets seemingly as a result.
11:32Also part of that equation was Roman Wilson's absence.
11:35He hurt his finger and he is expected to quote miss some time.
11:39Yep. So that's the Steelers side. Shall we move on?
11:42Yes. The Colts. I was glad you covered it.
11:44This is my question for you guys on the Steelers.
11:47Okay. It's very fast. Do we think that Jalen Warren can do to Rico Dowdle what Rico Dowdle did to Hubbard last
11:53year, at least for a little bit, which is, hey, Rico's going to return at some point.
11:58Yeah. Almost played this past weekend. If he comes back next week, the Steelers can't put the toothpaste back in the tube
12:05here and go, all right, you know what? Running back by committee here.
12:09Jalen Warren and Rico Dowdle. I don't expect Jalen Warren to play 80% of the snaps when Rico Dowdle was around, but
12:15the number's got to be much closer to like 65.
12:18I think it's also a little bit different because Bryce Young does not have the same command of power that Aaron Rodgers does.
12:25And if Aaron Rodgers is favoriting someone, that person is going to continue to be targeted both in the receiving game, obviously, and utilized on the ground.
12:33I would default towards being disappointed and starting Jalen Warren with an expectation and then finding out, oh, wow, they really do want to get Rico Dowdle involved.
12:41He's outscoring Ashton Gentry. I'm surprised about this. Yeah.
12:43Then we'll get there. But until then, like Jalen Warren has been unbelievable.
12:47You got to keep rolling with it. Jonathan Taylor has normally been awesome.
12:51He struggled a little bit in this one. 15 carries for 45 rushing yards, three catches for 37 receiving yards.
12:57That was good for 11.2 fantasy points. Didn't find the end zone, but I don't think anybody is too concerned.
13:03Things are up. Things are down. He is still a dominant player in the position.
13:07I'm not concerned because I have another player in the squad that got in the end zone, Liz Loza, and I am
13:13so grateful that it finally happened this year. And Tyler Warren.
13:16Who scored a rushing touchdown instead of Jonathan Taylor.
13:19He sure did. And it spiked his total fantasy performance.
13:22He was tied for the team high in looks, converting 7 of 9 for 83 receiving yards.
13:27Yes. And also that rushing score, 21.4 fantasy points, his highest fantasy point total of the season.
13:32Other quick mentions, Keenan Allen, who has been healthy and not healthy, obviously had some issues ahead of the season.
13:38He also drew nine targets. Wasn't as efficient with his opportunities as Warren.
13:42Just five catches for 45 receiving yards. And Josh Downs continued to disappoint, converting just three of six looks.
13:47Yeah. Not really a whole lot from the Colts' perspective.
13:50It feels like this is, they are kind of what we think they are.
13:54They host Tennessee, right? That's not a secondary I'm particularly afraid of in week six.
13:58But there's nothing exciting here outside of Warren and Jonathan Taylor.
14:02Do you agree? Might be one more thing. Okay, okay, okay.
14:05Tell us. You guys ready to do some sicko stuff right now?
14:08Oh, I'm ready. I'm ready, Phil. Nothing like sickos on a Monday.
14:12How many players are a bigger positional advantage besides Brock Bowers and Spencer Schrader right now, baby!
14:17Oh, kicker talk on the show. Are you guys aware of what's going on right now?
14:21Bring it. Nope. Give me the loadout. Spencer Schrader, over the past four games, this is his fantasy points in each of those last four games.
14:29This is in a league with decimal scoring, so it may not be exactly this in your league, but it's not far off.
14:36So if it's like a 34-yard kick, you would get 3.4 yards.
14:39Okay. 15.9, 19.7, 17.4, and 21.3. Are you kidding me?
14:42You can also tell that Field had a quiet night yesterday because he got to dig into some other stats.
14:48Some kicker stats. I do have him in a high leverage league.
14:51Really? Really? Like, he's actually getting 16.4 fantasy points.
14:54He put his rears on and did the work.
14:57I know. I mean, it's amazing. So just for context, right, like the guy that we think many of us believe is
15:03or was often the number one drafted kicker and is the best kicker in the league is probably Brandon Aubrey.
15:09He's at nine fantasy points per game. Our guy Spencer Schrader is at 16.4, and I'm not even sure if that, let's see, does that count?
15:17That may or may not. That doesn't even factor in what we did yesterday yet.
15:21Like, the guy is, this is ridiculous. That's unbelievable.
15:24So a couple things here. Very, very quickly. And then I will get off my Spencer Schrader, Schrader soapbox is, uh, he
15:30is obviously a very talented kicker, right? He has, he is, he's, he's crushing it.
15:34He had two 50, I think it was a 57 and a 54 yard bomb yesterday.
15:39Unbelievable. They play, he plays for a coach in Shane Steichen that is going to take the points.
15:44And in a league where we're seeing these coaches and it did not cost them.
15:49We'll talk about the Jaguars in a bit, but Liam Cohen had probably what, at least two field goal attempts that he could have kicked.
15:56And he said, I'm going for it here. Shane Steichen loves to kick field goals.
16:00So Spencer Schrader, that's two minutes on Spencer Schrader had to give a shout out to him.
16:05Also available in 46% of ESPN fantasy leagues. I just looked it up.
16:09So that's close to 50%. Eric Moody, be on alert for your waiver article.
16:13What's his updated point total? Well, I'm not sure what his updated point total.
16:17I was just looking to see how many players have scored at least 14 points in every single game so far this year.
16:24There's only five players in the NFL that have scored at least 14 points.
16:28And then Spencer Schrader has done it four times as a kicker.
16:3168 fantasy points right now in this, in this league, which it depends on again, scoring and all that.
16:37Anyways, I digress. Let's talk about Eagles and Jaguars.
16:40Speaking of kickers, let's talk about this London game.
16:42Someone give me a good Cam Little impression. Can you give me a Cam Little impression at the end?
16:48I thought he was going to hit the Ronaldo at the end, but he just sort of went the, yeah, he just, he, yeah.
16:55Oh, he did the Jude Bell game. Oh, that's what it was.
16:58Zach is mentioning. The game was, of course, being played in London.
17:02This game took forever. By the way, we watched the entirety of our fantasy focus countdown show on Sunday, which has never been able to happen before.
17:10The Jaguars pulled this one out. Trevor Lawrence, none of this looked pretty, to be honest, when you were really watching the game.
17:16It wasn't great. But for the Jaguars, Trevor Lawrence, 331 passing yards with two touchdowns.
17:21From a fantasy perspective, the dude looked good if you utilized him this week.
17:25For the running back spot, Basial Tootin touched the ball 24 times.
17:28Again, didn't really turn into a ton of production, but he is getting all of the volume as the guy in this backfield still, it feels like.
17:36I mean, he dominated touches yesterday. Yes. Tootin had 22 rushing attempts.
17:40Chris Rodriguez had two. Yep. And he had three targets as well for Basial Tootin.
17:44So like, he's clearly locked in as that guy.
17:47When I look at this receiving core, Parker Washington, clearly the only guy that like I'm trusting week in and week out.
17:53Brenton Strange popped off. I'm not done yet. Okay.
17:56Brenton Strange, back-to-back weeks with eight targets, seven catches, and at least 13 fantasy points.
18:00Like, that's awesome from a tight end perspective. Right now, he's in that tight end one conversation.
18:05I believe low end tight end one conversation, especially going into week six because you'll have Travis Kelsey, Sam Lapora, TJ Hawkinson, and Mike Kosicki all on by.
18:13And Tootin, as I had said, 11 straight fantasy points in four straight.
18:17He just needs a touchdown. Like, if he doesn't get into the end zone, he's not going to like pop off.
18:23With the volume he's getting, he's getting like a decent floor for you as a low-end RB2.
18:28But if he doesn't get in the end zone, he's not getting enough receiving game work, and he's not super efficient to
18:34really pay off in a major way, but he's not crushing your fantasy squad.
18:38He was a little bit like Cam Scadaboo, a little bit like Chase Brown.
18:42We'll talk about Chase Brown in a little bit.
18:45The want to. For Tootin. But yeah, so he's, again, he's not the reason you're winning your league, but he is at
18:52least not the reason you are losing your league right now.
18:55The Jaguars will stay in London. Oh. Yes. Another game for them next weekend in London.
18:59Yeah, what was the thing, the set that you had there playing?
19:03Yesterday was the start of a rip of 30 regular season games, 26 of which will be played not in Jacksonville.
19:09They're going to Orlando next year. It's a temporary home as they do stadium renovations.
19:13So between the London games and the Orlando games, a lot of games not being played in Duval.
19:19Is Parker Washington? It's not the exact same type of player.
19:22But I think the player that I'm going to compare him to, and you would know this better than anybody, Daniel, I
19:28think has leveled up, which is a crazy thought because he was already amazing.
19:32He's like my, he's like Amon Ross St. Brown now.
19:35He is similar to that. Like, you know, Amon Ross for a while was just basically just, you know, just, it was
19:42a lot of stuff at or near the line of skirmish.
19:45Now Amon Ross being utilized in all different ways.
19:47Parker is a little bit like that. Just like small guy, not the fastest guy.
19:52And yet he just, like if you throw the football to him, he is going to dominate.
19:57He plays a similar chip on the shoulder too.
19:59Also in terms of draft capital spent, right? Like Amon Ross was very disappointed that he was drafted.
20:05He, I believe it was a third round pick, right?
20:08He was drafted. Amon Ross, fourth rounder. Fourth round pick.
20:10He was upset that he fell. Parker Washington, I believe a sixth round pick, right?
20:15So I love the grit when these guys are like, you know what?
20:19I'm going to show you. And he's showing all of us.
20:22He's not getting, I would love it if he got Amon.
20:25Well, Amon Ross didn't get a ton of volume, but I would love it if Parker Washington got Amon Ross St.
20:31Amon Ross St. Brown kind of volume. Not really doing that, but size, stature, what he does.
20:36That second touchdown. Yeah, he's awesome. He's the man.
20:39He's making ridiculous catches. Better on himself coming into the year.
20:42Yep. Turned down an extension. And through five weeks, I would say that he's adding a few million dollars per year to that extension.
20:49Shout out Parker Washington. Yep. On the other side of this one, the Eagles looked awful.
20:54Awful. Terrible. Will Shipley, unfortunately, got hurt in this one.
20:56He was the only running back that you may have tried to roll with because both Tank Bigsby and Saquon Barkley were already out.
21:03But Damian Pierce carried the ball 11 times for 14 yards.
21:07Yeah, that ain't it. That's not going to do it for us.
21:10When you look at the wide receivers, obviously, in this game, there was no Devontae Smith.
21:15I'm not interested right now in starting either Makai Lemon or Dontavian Wicks or Darius Cooper in spite of the fact that he's found the end zone again.
21:23I'm not following that. I'm not chasing the touchdowns.
21:26The real conversation for me is that Jalen Hurts just isn't a starting quarterback for us anymore.
21:31Who was the debate we had? Jalen Hurts. It was somebody who was like, I want to cut Jalen Hurts for this person.
21:37I think it was to cut Jalen Hurts to acquire Jacoby Brissett.
21:41I think it was something like that. Yeah. We were like, well, you can't do that with Jalen.
21:46I'm not sure you can cut Jalen. Well, I don't know.
21:49You might be able to. You might be able to because people are going to say that when Devontae Smith comes back, there will be a lift.
21:57But the reason is because the rushing efficiency has gone because of the offensive line absences, exits, really.
22:02So Jalen Hurts has five straight seasons with eight plus rushing touchdowns.
22:06There you go. Up until last year, he had four straight seasons with 10 plus rushing touchdowns.
22:11He had three seasons in a row in there where he had 13 plus rushing touchdowns.
22:15That's the reason why he had all of that volume.
22:18When you look at it now, one rushing touchdown through the first five games, that means that his upside is not there anymore.
22:25You remember that rushing touchdown, by the way? That was the rushing touchdown against the Bears on Monday night.
22:31Oh, that's right. End of the first half. Where we thought maybe they'd go up and spike it to kick a field goal or run one play.
22:38Yep. Instead, they just snuck it in. Yeah, 1.5% of Jalen Hurts' fantasy points came from rushing yesterday as he had two rushes for two yards.
22:46The days of Jalen Hurts being an elite fantasy quarterback are on ice.
22:50I am going to say that you can eat definitely, clearly, obviously, Benjam.
22:54I'm okay with you cutting him. Right now, he is quarterback 20, averaging 0.2 more fantasy points per game than Deshaun Watson
23:00and averaging 0.6 less fantasy points per game than Aaron Rodgers.
23:03He is not it right now. That much is for sure.
23:06Not great. Hopefully, things bounce back, but it is not looking good.
23:10Today's forecast? Falling leaves, football, and an 80% chance you're going to need to do a few more things for that backyard project.

23:58Many people's first serious relationship didn't start with a kiss.
24:01It started with a kickoff. Or perhaps it was love at first hike.
24:04But unfortunately, many of these football lovers don't live in the same city as their team.
24:09Which is why Marriott Bonvoy has hotels close to nearly every NFL stadium.
24:13Bringing fans closer to the teams they love with over 30 different hotel brands.
24:17So if you want to stay closer to your team, check in for game day with Marriott Bonvoy.
24:22The official sponsor of the NFL. We'll see you there.
24:25Right now. Speaking of a bounce back field. Did you know that you could not win at a football game?
24:31I was not aware. Actually, our friend Pat Doherty does an amazing job over at Roto World.
24:36Had a tweet that only the NFC East could find a way to go winless as a division in a week in
24:42which they had two teams playing each other. It's unbelievable.
24:45Cowboys, Eagles, Commanders, Giants combined for zero wins yesterday.
24:48We were in the war room. Field was at home because he was on daddy duty while also watching.
24:53And being in the war room while this happened, Field, I so desperately wish you were there.
24:58It lost its mind. It must have been the perfect.
25:01Poor memory. Yes, absolutely. I just, I can't get over.
25:04This is not a fantasy conversation. Just the way the game ended.
25:08Frankly, I think it's Jaden Daniels' responsibility. To be honest with you.
25:11I just, I think if that were. Situational awareness?
25:14Yeah, I think so. I mean, I think if this were Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, we'd be saying like, how
25:20on earth do you not know that? That's fundamental stuff.
25:23You are the leader of this franchise. Yep. I don't know.
25:26He protected his elbow. I'm not getting mad. Okay.
25:29But they also tied. They should have won that game.
25:32They should have. As far as this game, it brings me great joy to say that Malik Neighbors is back.
25:38Oh my gosh. Back to back monster weeks for Malik Neighbors.
25:41Yeah. Looked awesome. He had 20 targets yesterday. Mm-hmm.
25:4320 targets. Now, Jameis Winston threw the ball 54 times.
25:46So, ton of opportunity there. He had 20 targets.
25:49He looks great. The weather was awful for much of this game, and he still managed 121 receiving yards, 11 catches.
25:55He was sensational. He and Isaiah Likely form one of the most enjoyable wide receiver tight end duos to watch right now in the NFL.
26:02Well, Isaiah Likely, who had 13 targets of his own, 11 catches for 94 yards, two touchdowns.
26:07Incredible value at tight end. Tight end won for the week, and I don't think that's going to change tonight.
26:13Obviously, Brock Bowers. Obviously, Trey McBride. Isaiah Likely is in that next tier.
26:17Whether you want to call that a one-man tier of just Isaiah Likely, whether you want to include George Kittle, whether you
26:23think Tyler Warren's good enough to be in that tier, I don't know.
26:27But Isaiah Likely's been amazing. He's going nowhere. He is with all those Giants injuries.
26:32And by the way, they draw the Saints next week.
26:34The Saints have been awful against the run, but they have not been efficient at all against the pass.
26:40So, they can move the ball through the air.
26:43On the running back front, Cam Scadaboo fumbled in overtime.
26:46He did see... Oh. He had the exact same tweet, too.
26:49Sorry, I saw Pat's first, but that is Mina.
26:51Of course. You guys know me. Always on top of it.
26:55The absolute best. Yes. Absolute legend, Mina Kimes. Great tweet there as well.
26:58Cam Scadaboo played a ton of snaps yesterday. Oh, my God.
27:02Jaden Daniels ensuring no one can win in week five out of respect for Jaden Daniels.
27:06It's a great tweet. Amazing. Man, I got to spend more time on Twitter.
27:10That is in the lore. Wow. That is amazing right there.
27:13Scadaboo played a ton of snaps for the Giants.
27:16He did. Continues his remarkably inefficient season, though. 7.1 fantasy points in PPR.
27:20I think... So, Liz and I talked about this a little bit.
27:23I believe Cam Scadaboo played 61% of the snaps, and both the other guys played, like, under 20.
27:29Yeah, it was... Naji Harris. 63.1 for Scadaboo and 19 each for Naji.
27:32There you go. A little frustrating to see, like, Isaiah Likely being, like, targeted on bubble screens when I'm like, Cam Scadaboo's right there.
27:39Please just give the ball to Cam Scadaboo. Just let him fall on the goal line, please.
27:44What are we doing, Jameis? You know, the reason...
27:47If you survive week five and you're looking for a silver lining, I mentioned they play the Saints next week, and maybe
27:53that's the week that he gets it going, but he has had one of the more disappointing seasons for any running back in the NFL.
28:01How many targets did you say for Malik Neighbors?
28:0320 for Malik Neighbors, 13 for Isaiah Likely. So, 33 of the 54 passes went to those two.
28:09That's unbelievable. Vintage Jameis Winston game there. I mean, just he kept both teams in this game.
28:13Down to the jawing with Darnell Mooney, the whole thing.
28:16So good. Top to bottom. Jaden Daniels. This was awesome to see.
28:20Yes. Jaden Daniels, the end of the game was obviously a massive flub, but he was really efficient as a passer.
28:2617 for 25 for 199 yards. But more importantly, nine rushes, 103 yards, two rushing touchdowns.
28:31So, Jaden Daniels currently quarterback two for the week.
28:33That's pending Monday Night Football. Besides Jaden, though, nobody in this Washington offense, week in and week out, is the kind of
28:40player that you're like, I'm definitely trusting you. Right?
28:42No Stephon Diggs yesterday. And Terry McLaurin, 12.2 fantasy points.
28:45Fine. Not great. Been kind of a ho-hum season for Terry, for sure.
28:49Bill Krosky-Meritt had a long rushing touchdown, but do you really want Bill Krosky-Meritt as your go-to running back?
28:55I started him because I had to. Yeah. And I got lucky he got in the end zone this last week.
29:01That's what I was hoping for. It's zero targets yesterday for Bill Krosky-Meritt.
29:04So, it was great to see Jaden bounce back, but the commanders, for the most part, a stay away offense.
29:10Even if Jaden Daniels is banged up, even if you're concerned about the elbow, if he is healthy and out there on
29:17the field, this is the kind of game that he can deliver.
29:20Yeah. I don't feel uncomfortable about playing Jaden Daniels.
29:23There's a chance with him or any quarterback that halfway through a game, he gets hurt and he may...
29:28But like, I'm not going to have that fear in my head as I'm starting Jaden Daniels.
29:33This is why he is your starting quarterback. Monday Night Football next week at San Francisco for Jaden and the commanders.
29:39Let's go to the Bears and the Packers, Liz.
29:42I'm sorry you have to do this. I was going to say, do we have to?
29:47Yikes. Well, I'm just going to get the score out of the way.
29:51It was Packers 31, Bears 7. Let's start with some positives, at least from a fantasy perspective.
29:55I am absolutely loving this concentrated target tree from Green Bay.
29:59We haven't seen it in a minute, and it is legit.
30:02Christian Watson led the team in looks and receiving yards.
30:05He caught 6 of 8 for 143. I like to call that, and I love you.
30:09And two touchdowns. That was good for 32.3 fantasy points.
30:12Second time all season, by the way, he's cleared 30 fantasy points.
30:16The last time was week one against another division opponent.
30:19The Vikings, also impressive when we're talking about Brian Flores' defense.
30:22Yes. Yes? You're looking at me quizzically? Yeah, I am.
30:25Why? I'm going to let you finish your sentence.
30:28Why is 143 I love you? One letter for I.
30:30Four for love. Oh my gosh, guys. That's so cute.
30:33You didn't know that? No. I like said it on last night's show, and you didn't bring it up until right now.
30:40Yeah. Okay. Oh, you're just like she's- Well, I didn't want to look silly on last night's show, so I decided to wait until today.
30:47So you made a clown of yourself in front of fields.
30:50In front of fields. Yes, exactly. You know what?
30:53It was golden vulnerability, and Matthew was also golden, even though he had one fewer target than Christian Watson.
30:58He converted six of seven for 123. That is not, and I love you.
31:02No. That's an IU, I don't know what you, for 20.3 fantasy points.
31:06There you go. I to you. I to you.
31:09He has managed seven or more targets in four of his first five games.
31:13He's also cleared 100 yards in two of five efforts.
31:16Now, the debate between which one of these is the team's true number one, I don't care about.
31:21Watson's going to see more of the high value looks.
31:24Probably golden will see more overall looks. Fine if you drafted both of them, especially given where you drafted them.
31:30And good matchup next Sunday against the Cowboys. That is true, too.
31:33Backfield struggle just in terms of efficiency, as we've seen, averaging just 2.7 yards per carry as a whole.
31:39But Marshawn Lloyd, little tiny shout out, did manage two rushing scores on 10 totes.
31:43First time he scored since week two, and that was at the Jets.
31:47I like the matchup for him, especially with those teams on a bye that we mentioned.
31:52People having volatility and question marks at the running back position.
31:55He might be someone that you roll out. Jordan Love recorded his best fantasy outing of the season, 25.3 fantasy points.
32:01He cleared 360 passing yards and tossed two touchdowns.
32:04Looked good. All right, so that's the good stuff.
32:06Okay. Let's talk about the Bears. We'll be quick here.
32:09Luther Burden led the team in targets. He converted four of six for 47 receiving yards.
32:14Romo Dunze only managed three catches and 40 receiving yards on nine looks.
32:18I hate that. Colston Loveland caught two of five for 19 receiving yards.
32:21DeAndre Swift was the star again. It needs to be stated, obviously, that Kyle Monongai was sidelined for this one.
32:27He eked out 43 rushing yards and a score on nine carries.
32:31Also managed four catches and 30 yards through the air.
32:34That was good for 17.3 fantasy points. Caleb Williams, please come back soon.
32:37Let me ask you this question, guys. With how bad the Bears offense looks right now and knowing that Caleb Williams is
32:44coming back, would you put in by low offers on some of these guys because managers are like, I want out, I want out.
32:51But we think something better is on the horizon with the QB returning?
32:55Definitely possible. Definitely I would. You know what's amazing about the Bears, and Liz, you know this better than probably anybody, is
33:01it just feels like the Bears recently, when they lose, they lose in like spectacular fashion.
33:06It's like we just, they're such a feast or famine team, right?
33:09It's not like, hey, you know, like the Minnesota game, which Caleb got hurt in.
33:14It was like a total no-show offensive effort. And then the other three games, they've been really good on offense, right?
33:20The Case Keenum game and last week Tyson Bajan and week one against the Panthers.
33:24So a hard team to figure out, but it sounds like Caleb Williams has a real chance to play next week against the Falcons.
33:31They then play on Thursday night against the Patriots.
33:34So two big opportunities in a short period of time for the Bears to kind of get this offense rolling.
33:39All right, next one here, Field Yates, Browns, and Jets.
33:42We can probably be pretty quick on this one.
33:45We can. The Jets get a good win. The Jets are now two and three.
33:49And coming into the season, there was one thing and one thing more so than anything else that we wanted from this Jets offense.
33:56Geno Smith, keep Garrett Wilson afloat. Yes, sir. Well, 11 of his 30 passing attempts went to Garrett Wilson.
34:02Seven catches, 104 yards and a touchdown. Wilson looked awesome yesterday.
34:05As did his teammate, Braylon Allen. Yeah, he did.
34:08Was playing all the snaps without Brees Hall. He had 24 rushes for 116 yards.
34:12He had zero receiving yards, but he found the end zone.
34:15So he is currently RB6 on the day. They put the Patriots next week, a very tough run defense.
34:21And if Brees Hall is back, then Braylon Allen goes back to zero value.
34:25But he has done a more than serviceable job filling in for Brees Hall since Hall hurt himself a couple of weeks back.
34:32The Browns are just a flat mess right now in the backfield.
34:35So Quinchon Judkins left the game yesterday. He had 14 rushes for 44 yards.
34:39He had three catches for six yards. He got hurt.
34:42He left the stadium in a walking boot. Certainly sounds like missing time is on the table.
34:47Our guy, Raheem Sanders, he steps into a bigger role.
34:50He has three carries. He runs nine routes. He's been a part of this Browns offense, kind of a pass catcher.
34:56He leaves the game because of a hip injury.
34:59The Browns are down to literally practice squad level players in the backfield right now.
35:03So it would be great to have more information later today from Todd Munkin on the severity of those running back injuries.
35:10But the Browns, a team that we've already dealt with injury attrition.
35:13Dylan Sampson missed one game. We've already been dealing with injury attrition there in the backfield.
35:18Even more of it coming our way for the Browns.
35:21Feels like the player that you most want to roster right now for the Cleveland Browns in fantasy is actually Denzel Boston.
35:27Good game for him. Three for 46 and a touchdown.
35:3013.6 fantasy points. Harold Fannin Jr. has just 1.4 fantasy points.
35:33Fannin kind of bailed out last week as well with a short touchdown.
35:37Casey Concepcion got hurt. He had a concussion. So he was out for much of the game.
35:42Denzel Boston, the most exciting player on this Browns young offense.
35:45Disappointing. Kind of an egg laid by the Browns who had a chance to have a four-game winning streak for the first time in a few years.
35:53So Cleveland, with that backfield uncertainty, the best player for fantasy, Quinchan Judkins.
35:57Now a big cloud hanging over him for Week 6.
36:00Is there any truth to the rumor field that NFL Fantasy Hall of Famer Peyton Hillis is thinking about signing with this
36:06team in order to roll it out? So thin right now for the Browns.
36:10I think the next man up would be Jared Patterson.
36:13We'll have to check to see where Dylan Sampson's at health-wise.
36:16That's right. But it is brutal right now. The Browns probably scouring the waiver wire this week for backfield options.
36:22Doesn't feel great. Speaking of scouring the waiver wire for backfield options, if I've got Chase Brown, that's felt great.
36:28I mean, last week wasn't too bad, but this week, Liz, this was the Dolphins.
36:32Yeah, let's get into Bengals-Dolphins. Bengals did come away victorious in this one, 31-24.
36:36Joe Burrow I want to start with, though. Sure.
36:39Let's start at the top, okay? He only threw for 190 yards, but he tossed four touchdowns.
36:44Amazing. Managing nearly 25 fantasy points. Those touchdowns went to, unsurprisingly, Jamar Chase.
36:48More surprisingly, Samaje Pirine. And even more surprisingly, Tanner Hudson and then Mike Gusecki gets a score in a revenge game against his old team.
36:55So that was nice. Let's start with Jamar Chase.
36:58I don't think anyone's... There were questions about whether or not he would play because he was in the protocol.
37:03He came in healthy, converted 6 of 10. We love double-digit targets.
37:0777 receiving yards in that aforementioned touchdown. Nearly 20 fantasy points in this one.
37:11He is automatic. Chase Brown, this is... There's a lot in this matchup that's been triggering you.
37:16We'll start with Cincinnati. Chase Brown, your guy. My guy.
37:19Two years in a row, he struggled. He is driving that bus, friend.
37:2316 touches for 60 scrimmage yards. 7 fantasy points.
37:25This is now his second single-digit fantasy total over the last three weeks.
37:29And this was supposed to be the game that he smashes.
37:32It's the Miami Dolphins. People don't throw four passing touchdowns against the Dolphins.
37:36They run for four rushing touchdowns. Right, yeah. So how are you feeling moving forward?
37:40Well, how does it sound like I'm feeling? Well, it doesn't feel great.
37:44They are on bye in week 6. Cincinnati is, as is Miami.
37:48Miami, so there's a moment to maybe retool, get things back together.
37:51And then we'll regroup in week 7. There's plenty of time.
37:54Chase Brown, as disappointing as sometimes his games are, he's still on a team, one of the highest scoring teams in the
38:01NFL as a pass-catching running back that's still going to...
38:04Even though, you know, Samadji Piran got the goal line work.
38:07Yeah. You're going to keep rolling him out there, even if there's a disappointing game here and there.
38:12Again, another one of those versatile players. Yep. He didn't do much through the air.
38:17We don't really expect that, right? 15 of 27 for 137 passing yards.
38:20One touchdown, two interceptions. But he did produce on the ground eight carries for 74 rushing yards and a rushing score.
38:26That was good for 18.8 fantasy points. Again, what we wanted out of him, what we thought could be possible.
38:32He's delivering Malik Washington. Just a quick mention. Remains Willis' favorite target.
38:36I double... There you go. Double Malik. I got it.
38:39I got it. I love you both times. He caught, what, six of eight balls for 43 receiving yards, but has yet to find the end zone.
38:47I thought it could really happen in this matchup, given the Bengals' defense.
38:50But finally, let's end on the one bright spot.
38:53Ollie Gordon. I know you're shaking your head because it keeps triggering you.
38:5788 rushing yards and a score on 18 carries.
38:5914.8 fantasy points. He has now managed a rushing touchdown in three straight games.
39:03His third straight effort with 14 or more fantasy points.
39:06This is a sixth round pick doing what Devon Achan couldn't.
39:10Yeah. And I think that is what is so confounding.
39:12Triggering. Triggering. To so many. I don't want to...
39:15Like, I just don't think that the skill set is here for Ollie Gordon to continue this over the course of the season.
39:22I know. That's the thing. You only know what you know.
39:25I just... It's... Did Devon Achan get bad at football?
39:28Did they change something after he got hurt and now they're running...
39:31No, I don't think so. I mean... The difference in skill sets here.
39:35Playing a touch better defensively. A touch. Not a lot.
39:38But a touch better defensively. And... I think teams...
39:41Honestly... Let their guard down against the Dolphins. That's a fair thing.
39:44They're going to win. It's a trap game every week.
39:47Kind of a trap game every week. Yeah. Maybe Devon Achan just kind of got unlucky and Ollie Gordon has gotten lucky.
39:54You know, he's a low-end RB2 week in and week out.
39:57He's getting minimal. I mean, just nothing in the passing game.
40:00And that's the thing. He's got to fall into the end zone.
40:03So, with him being able to do this, he's done this because he's gotten into the end zone.
40:09And if he's... He's touchdown dependent. Which is kind of what Devon Achan had turned out to be in the beginning because
40:15he wasn't getting as much of the receiving game work as I had wanted.
40:19Sure. Yep. But how many running backs have we now just said are touchdown dependent?
40:24Well... A lot. Basically 15 of the... We're halfway through the show.
40:27We're halfway through the top. It's 23. It's like Tim Gibbs, B.
40:31John Robinson. That's it. Christian McCaffrey, Jonathan Taylor, James Cook.
40:33And then it's... They're not catching balls. They're touchdown dependent.
40:36Yeah. There's so many of them. Another touchdown dependent running back.
40:40Unfortunately, got banged up this week in Houston. Texans and Titans.
40:43We can be quick on this one. David Montgomery, unfortunately, got banged up.
40:47Had been struggling and trending the wrong direction, unfortunately, as an RB2 with us.
40:51Obviously, Woody Marks comes in and touches the ball.
40:53Plays every snap. Once David Montgomery gets hurt, he's going to be a very heavily added waiver target this week.
40:59Available in over 50% of leagues. We will spend a lot of time tomorrow talking about him.
41:04CJ Stroud scored 20.9 fantasy points. Back-to-back weeks with over 20 fantasy points.
41:08It helped that he got six points from a rushing touchdown.
41:11Those count. But they count. So we'll see how that works, obviously, moving forward.
41:15But I think the big thing that we... And, you know, Nico is Nico.
41:19Regardless of what he looked like, Nico Collins is going to keep being that guy.
41:24The big news here is that this team traded for Marvin Harrison Jr.
41:27Yeah, baby. Trying to figure out what this is going to look like moving forward.
41:32Obviously, it didn't mean anything for us now. But just opening up a conversation about the offense, guys.
41:37You add Marvin Harrison Jr. If you were a Marvin Harrison Jr.
41:40manager, you're pumped because you're at least, hey, I'm in a new spot.
41:44I have potentially unlocked. Can't get worse. Right. Exactly.
41:47Are you going to wait and see a couple weeks if you are a Marvin Harrison Jr.
41:52manager before you roll him out there? Definitely. Yeah.
41:54Okay. Kind of an unusual week for them, by the way.
41:58He's going all the way to London for his first game.
42:01So he's got to get to Houston today. Got to, like, practice with the team this week.
42:06I'm sure he'll play on Sunday, but I expect a very limited...
42:09I expect a limited role for Marvin Harrison Jr.
42:12But this is where, like, the test going forward is going to be whether Marvin Harrison Jr.
42:17is as advertised skill set-wise. Because if he fails in two separate teams, and I grant you that, like, I wouldn't say that Houston has necessarily been...
42:25This is not going to, like, the LA Rams.
42:27Where it's like, if you go and you play with Sean McVay and you can't get it done there, then it's probably
42:34a you problem, not a Sean McVay problem. He's got a big sample size there.
42:38But we're going to find out about Marvin Harrison Jr.
42:41But the theoretical value he has now in Houston is better than the zero value he has in Arizona.
42:47I'm willing to eat a huge game on my bench because I want to see it before I believe it.
42:52I'm okay with that if it happens with me with Marvin Harrison Jr.
42:56I think that that's the conversation you have to have with yourself.
43:00And, you know, it's interesting because obviously we know this team needed depth at the receiver position.
43:05And with them, maybe not in this effort, but with their defense regressing, their secondary regressing as much as it did, they
43:11will need to be chasing some points. So there is some added boost there, potentially, like Field said perfectly, theoretically, for MHJ.
43:17By the way, this feels like the trade... I get it.
43:21Houston will tell you we made this trade about the long term.
43:24He's a very talented player. This trade becomes much more interesting if the Texans win on Sunday in London against Jackson.
43:30I agree. Because they would then be, you know, just two games back of the Jaguars.
43:35Yep. We'll see what happens with both Indianapolis and Tennessee.
43:38They play each other. So I presume Indianapolis will be 3-3.
43:41But Houston will get right back into the mix with the win on Sunday in London.
43:46On the other side of this one, unfortunately and quickly, Tennessee Titans were awful.
43:50And we thought this was going to be a potential smash spot for Carnell Tate, given what wide receivers had done against the Texans so far.
43:57At least 18 fantasy points. One catch here in this game.
44:01It just didn't look great. I think this is part of what's potentially going to happen in this Titans offense.
44:06You're going to have some weeks where they just don't look great.
44:10You're going to have some boom weeks where Carnell Tate does the things that we looked at.
44:15But I think you're going to be in this spot where even if you feel like this is one of those good
44:21games, this offense isn't as good as some of the others in the NFL.
44:25It's not just going to be as... It's easier to take away a number one when there's a clear number one.
44:31Also... And a struggling quarterback, a streaky quarterback. And Taji Spears had a...
44:35I was just laughing. He had nine catches yesterday.
44:38Yeah, a bunch in the receiving game. But they don't have a fantastic run game either to be able to...
44:44To stabilize them. Yeah. So it's a tough one right now if you're a Titans fan.
44:48Carnell Tate, the only guy that we are hoping maybe gets back on track.
44:52Well, Wandell Robinson. But I've sort of lost my Wandell Robinson faith through the first five weeks of the season.

47:18Let's talk about Viking Saints. Oh, I got a back-to-back game.
47:21Sorry, guys. I didn't realize I was back-to-back here.
47:24Vikings and Saints as well. Do you, buddy? Vikings have a buy in week 6 for what it's worth.
47:29As a reminder, Justin Jefferson, 18 fantasy points. You'd love to be able to see that.
47:34Aaron Jones over 100 rushing yards and a touchdown, which is big because they're going on to a buy this week.
47:40And once they come back from a buy, we're going to assume that Jordan Mason at least has a chance to be a part of this backfield again.
47:48Sounds like he will be back in what will be week 7.
47:52Week 7. So I'm not sure that we're going to see Aaron Jones delivering this level of value for our fantasy squads moving forward.
47:59Hopefully you got the last of it here in week 5 and it helped you out.
48:03Kyler didn't look terrible. 18.2 fantasy points as well.
48:06Do you believe that when you look at Kyler Murray, he's someone that you would, I mean, this was against the Saints.
48:12Yes, that's the problem. That's okay. Yes. He could win 80% of his passes.
48:16I wouldn't say that Kyler has been a particularly impressive passer so far this year.
48:21He still struggled downfield is what I was saying.
48:23He could, his legs are back, but you know.
48:26Oh, it's so much. It also was, I would say it was more testament to Justin Jefferson.
48:31The touchdown to Jefferson. There are three defenders all the way around.
48:34Ridiculous play by Jefferson. Probably ill-advised throw by Kyler, but it still works.
48:38I do not have faith in Kyler Murray as my quarterback at all, even with what we saw yesterday.
48:44Through three full healthy games, Kyler has two passing touchdowns so far.
48:47So it doesn't feel great right now with what we're doing.
48:50On the other side of this one, Tyler Shuck, who I think we all love, looked rough.
48:55Awful. Negative fantasy points in this game. Guys, he's quarterback 31 on the week and 28 have played so far.
49:01So Fernando Mendoza and Case Keenum outscored Tyler Shuck.
49:04Case Keenum barely outscored Tyler Shuck. Barely, but yes.
49:06But he did. Yes. I mean, it's preposterous. And we told you, we came into the week and we said, you know what?
49:13Let's talk about the Saints offense and let's see what they're made of this week.
49:18I didn't think we could talk about negative fantasy points.
49:20No. Brian Flores. We saw the matchup. Blitzed him at a 90% rate.
49:24He's a madman. Unbelievable. This is, what I'm going to say is just, it's a throwaway game in my estimation from a fantasy perspective.
49:31I like Tyler Shuck more than this. I like Chris Olave more than this.
49:35I like John Johnson more than this. This game is just a throwaway game.
49:39It was not good against a really tough Vikings defense.
49:42Hopefully better days are ahead. The only thing there that, again, they're kind of a low upside running back room in general,
49:49but Alvin Kamara seeded some snaps yesterday. I wonder if he hit him with the back.
49:53Yeah. Back injury. Kamara's sort of hanging on by a thread as it is.
49:57If it's going to be like that, like if he's still managing this back for the next few weeks, only decreases the
50:04chances of Alvin Kamara having any chance. I know that I'm probably overdoing it with my expectations, but the Saints got to
50:10frigging lean into Travis H when he gets back.
50:13You have to. It's so obvious how much they need an actual running back to help them out on offense.
50:19We'll see whether they do when he is back.
50:21Well, let's hope Kellen Moore takes the note. Let's talk about the Lions, Daniel.
50:25You're Lions and the Cardinals. 45 to 21. Congratulations.
50:28Thank you. That was fun. Dan Campbell's bell cow continued to eat.
50:3225 carries for 151 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
50:34Another five catches on top of that for 56 receiving yards.
50:3737.7 fantasy points. This is his third game in five that have gone over 30 fantasy points.
50:42Absolutely ridiculous. Sonic all the way. Jared Goff also.
50:45I think this has been a bit surprising. He acquitted himself quite well in this matchup.
50:50He threw for a mistake free 271 yards, three touchdowns, 28.9 fantasy points.
50:53Don't look now, but Jared Goff is the QB three.
50:56You had it up in fantasy. I thought you were just saying you love me.
51:01Fantasy points per game. Amen. Amon-Ra St. Brown. We will forgive him for this.
51:05He got going a little bit late, but we'll take it.
51:08He converted six of 11 for 69 receiving yards.
51:11That was good for nearly 13 fantasy points. He's allowed Sam Laporta.
51:14This is one call that I made that actually turned out right heading into this week.
51:19Thank you. He put together another monster effort. Led the team in receiving yards with 88 on five grabs.
51:2419.8 fantasy points. That's three games above 17 fantasy points for Laporta.
51:28Now his back, his hip ain't nothing. He is fine.
51:31And Jamison Williams, some might say that he got lucky.
51:34Others would say that he was due. Only two catches, but both of them in the end zone for a cool 18.7 fantasy points.
51:41This is the JMO coaster, my friend. Also, I looked this up because I wanted to see how involved he was.
51:47James Williams right now, the wide receiver five in routes run just behind Amon Ross St.
51:51Brown. That's out there a bunch and being utilized within that offense.
51:55Jared Goff, 12 passing touchdowns, zero interceptions. Look at the smile out of him.
51:59Plus a rushing touchdown. Plus a rushing touchdown. It was so good.
52:02Which one of our friends in the Michigan men chat is always questioning Jared Goff?
52:07I believe it is Josh is the one. Yes, Josh.
52:10He's a skeptic. Yes, he has been the Jared Goff skeptic.
52:13Is it because Goff definitely needs his mittens when he plays outside?
52:16You know what? He's got mittens right now. I'll take this, man, to start the season.
52:21And obviously when you don't have this rushing upside, what he's doing right now is kind of Matthew Stafford-esque from last year without any legs whatsoever.
52:29But both Matthew Stafford last year and Jared Goff this year, they have the offense that they could do it.
52:35It's just a difficult thing to do. All my hot takes for the year, remember?
52:39Absolutely. And Jared Goff's defense is helping him continue to throw.
52:42So if you did, speaking of the Detroit Lions defense, stream Jacoby Brissett because of the matchup, you were rewarded.
52:48It was not pretty to watch necessarily, but the numbers were the numbers.
52:52He threw the ball 47 times in catch-up mode.
52:54Managed 29 completions for 292 passing yards. Three touchdowns once again.
52:58One interception. Also caught a pass for seven yards.
53:00Sure, why not? Thrown by Michael Wilson. He's the QB six heading into Monday Night Football.
53:05So I was working on my week six quarterback rankings, and I have Bi, who faces the Lions next week, as quarterback three.
53:12That's mean. That is perfect. That's so mean. I mean, I love it.
53:15Yeah, we don't get the Lions to stream again, so we don't get the Vikings to stay away against.
53:21I want my DFS stack this week, and I don't have a DFS stack against Detroit either because of it.
53:27Unsurprisingly, Trey McBride led the Cardinals in targets with 10.
53:30He ended up with nine grabs, 66 receiving yards, and a touchdown.
53:33That's his third score of the season. 21.6 fantasy points.
53:36Somebody, I believe he directed Reservoir Dogs called Tegan Quintanaro.
53:39Yes, Quentin Tarantino. Yes, yes, yes. He hauled in two of Brissette's three touchdowns for 15.5 fantasy points.
53:44What's the fantasy? Okay, fine. Also, he entered Sunday having recorded just two receptions since the beginning of 2023.
53:50Yeah, very normal stuff. The takeaway here is that Detroit continues to be a boon to the tight end position.
53:55Speaking of movies, the Bourne Identity franchise was resuscitated in the desert because Kendrick Bourne made an appearance.
54:01Second in team targets with eight looks. Ended the day with five catches for 70 receiving yards.
54:06Might be the team's new wide receiver, too, with MHJ out the door.
54:09And I don't want to end this on a womp womp.
54:13Yeah, something to keep an eye on. This is a massive story.
54:16Jeremiah Love struggled again. Game script didn't help him, but just 22 rushing yards on 12 totes, that's 1.8 yards.
54:22But isn't it supposed to help him? Yes, I was going to say that because the backup— Well, because of the passing?
54:28Yeah. Yeah. Because Tyler Algier, to me, is not the receiving game back.
54:32If you're down the entire game, I would think Jeremiah Love would be a part of this offense.
54:37So, like, here's the only thing that I'll say about Jeremiah Love.
54:41The only thing that the Cardinals could say right now that would make me feel a little more at ease is, hey,
54:47listen, man, he's really banged up right now. That foot or that ankle is so bad, we just can't tell you about it.
54:54That doesn't seem to be the case. No. But over the past two weeks, Jeremiah Love has negative eight receiving yards.
55:00That's bad. He's yet to reach 20 receiving yards in a game this season.
55:04I posted this on social media, and some people were like, well, we overused the term weapon in pre-draft discourse about running backs.
55:11Okay. I'm not asking for them to line Jeremiah Love up opposite of Michael Wilson and play wide receiver.
55:16No. I'm hoping for positive receiving yards. How did they utilize Jameer Gibbs and Bijon Robinson in their respective offenses?
55:22Very creatively in the passing game. Jameer Gibbs had five catches for 56 yards yesterday, and you don't bat an eyelash.
55:28You're just like, that's what you do when you have a guy like Jameer Gibbs.
55:33What is the point of making this investment in Jeremiah Love?
55:36Bingo. To not utilize, and I get it. Tyler Algier's fine.
55:39Okay. I'm not asking for 30 carries a game for Jeremiah Love.
55:43But even if you're going to use him as a part-time player, wouldn't the part of part-time be the receiving opportunities?
55:49Well, you're not asking for 30 carries, but you might be asking for close to 30 touches.
55:54And I think that's the argument. And the argument also around him is not dissimilar than the one we had about Ashton
56:00Gentey at the top of the show. Yeah. Do you just give him a week to get healthy and figure it out?
56:07Yeah. The Gentey thing seems like a legitimate, like he's really playing through it.
56:11Do you think Love was- Jeremiah Love is like, I think this just might be a really bad offense, but they score
56:17a lot of points in other ways. The broadcast crew was speculating about it quite loudly.
56:22I don't know if you're right if that's an excuse.
56:25The best part of draft, if you're going to take a running back early, you got to get the most out of
56:31that player during the first four to six years of his career.
56:35It's a long ways to go for Jeremiah Love.
56:37You just hope they don't punt on this rookie season.
56:40You mentioned, I mean, when you look at Jameer Gibbs and Bajon Robinson, both running backs who were drafted early in the
56:47first round by their franchises, they are locked in on exactly what Field is talking about.
56:51We are going to find ways to put the balls in the hands of the guys.
56:56Yeah, you got to pay your play. Let's talk about the Broncos and Chargers.
57:00Are we just going to pass on basically both of these entire offenses, guys?
57:04Can we be honest about this? I think, yeah.
57:07I think we'll reach the point where we can just be very succinct about everything involving the Chargers.
57:12Yes. Chargers is super easy. Justin Herbert, I'm out.
57:14I can cut him. It's not even just a bench.
57:17We're done there. From a running back perspective, Kamani Vidal scored a touchdown, got 12.6 fantasy points.
57:22They're utilizing Keaton Mitchell. Sometimes you see some explosive plays out of him.
57:26They're also giving the ball to Omari and Hampton.
57:29It's a full-on committee. All three of them struggle.
57:31I don't want to play any of these guys unless I have to.
57:35I think the question with Omari and Hampton, unfortunately, has veered into this territory.
57:39The role's not going to be good. He played 32% of the snaps yesterday.
57:43The touchdown upside is going to be low. The question is, how good of a player is he?
57:49It's like we've had a few separate opportunities this year where it's like, wow, that was a legitimately really great play by Kamani Vidal.
57:56Why don't we stumble into one of those for Omari and Hampton?
57:59I hear that question. I hear that question. I think about what he did last year and think to myself, boy, I'm
58:05not sure I've seen someone bury an offense as badly as Mike McDaniel has so far.
58:10I hear you. I mean, with the expectations. For our purposes, none of them are worth a squat.
58:15Nothing. Not one Charger is worth discussing until further notice.
58:18Even Lad McConkie. The only way that I'd play Lad McConkie is if he was completely fully healthy, full practice, full practice, full practice, full practice.
58:26If we got transparency about that. Correct. And I'm on bye weeks.
58:29Yes. And I have to then be like, all right, well, I guess I have to start him, but at least he's fully healthy in this matchup.
58:37He was active and played zero snaps yesterday, which Adam Schefter kind of warned us.
58:42But anyways, Chargers out. Let's just not bring up the Chargers until further notice.
58:46They put the Chiefs out and Denver's roulette. Yeah.
58:48Honest. Bo Nix under 14 and a half fantasy points in all about one game so far this year.
58:54I don't want to start him if I don't have to.
58:57The running back situations. This is one of the running back dead zones that we've talked about.
59:02I know Dobbins got in the end zone, but it took him getting into the end zone.
59:07But it took him getting in the end zone.
59:10And then you look at the other two guys.
59:12Cortland Sutton got in the end zone also and finished with what?
59:16You get six points plus a catch. That's seven points just for a touchdown catch.
59:20He finished with 9.8. I'm not saying that Davis Webb was doing a good job, but it's very clear to me that
59:26the biggest problem in Denver was not just the play call.
59:30No. On offense. No, no. We talked about this too.
59:33He was under center. I think Sean Payton had in the first half.
59:36Was it the first half? He had like seven people with carries and nine different players that had like a target or something like that.
59:44It's all bad. It was just spreading around. 16 different players on offense were utilized.
59:48Both of these offenses, the Broncos and the Chargers are, I hope I don't have to start anyone in fantasy.
59:54And if I do, it's because I probably have no other better options on my squad.
59:58But right now we're just in a stay away mode for both these squads.
60:03Agreed on that. The Niners and Seahawks play a great game.
60:06Came down to a measurement of Cooper Cup who was, it was real short on the field.
60:11Ended up being short if the Seahawks had converted.
60:13Maybe they kick Jason Myers' sixth field goal of the day.
60:17But the Niners win 32-29. We talked about Brock Purdy maybe being in a tough spot in this game.
60:2216 points, 16 fantasy points. Not bad. No. Definitely not like a great effort from Brock Purdy.
60:27We told you kind of beware of this. He was helped because they had an 11-yard touchdown drive at the beginning of the game.
60:34Sam Darnold was all over the place. He had two bad interceptions yesterday.
60:38But let's talk about the Niners. Christian McCaffrey just sort of right there in the mix.
60:42It's like a mid-tease, you know, somewhere between, I don't know.
60:46He's not RB1, 2, or 3. He's somewhere between RB4 and on the low end RB6.
60:50Yeah. Right? Just rock steady. 15 receiving yards. I feel less, I understand where you're coming from.
60:55I'm not as... Who would you rather have ahead of him?
60:59Like who's definitely ahead of him amongst running backs?
61:01The two... Jonathan Taylor? No. No. Right? Is it...
61:04KW? KW3? Yes. He's 1, 2, 3. It's B.
61:06John Gibbs. It's Gibbs, B. John, Kenneth Walker III.
61:091, 2, 3. Okay. Whatever order you want. It's not James Cook.
61:12It's not Jonathan Taylor. Wait. You're saying I don't want those people over Christian McCaffrey?
61:17I might want Jonathan... You don't definitively want them over Christian McCaffrey.
61:20I think you don't definitively want them over Christian McCaffrey.
61:23All right. That's fine. I mean... I would rather...
61:26I might rather have Kyron Williams. Right now, I'd rather have Derrick Henry.
61:30Okay. Interesting. All right. Well, CMC, right there, close to it.
61:33We don't have to... Litigate it. The bottom line is CMC once again yesterday.
61:37Over 17 fantasy points. He had played 80% of the snaps.
61:40When games matter, Christian McCaffrey is going to play.
61:43Absolutely. It's a difficult matchup. Yes. Very tough matchup.
61:45Mike Evans turned the clock back yesterday. He was ridiculous.
61:4826.3 fantasy points. I know. That was amazing. Sorry.
61:51All-time taunt of Trayvon Diggs. It's been great. One of the great values.
61:55And he's the only man standing... Checking the back of his jersey.
61:58Yeah. ...of this Niners wide receiver room. Debo Samuel gets hurt.
62:01Hamstring injury. Already ruled out. Brandon Cook's had a touchdown yesterday.
62:05People were like, wait, you're on the Niners? So, George Kittle had kind of a dud yesterday.
62:10Five for 24 is it. I think you're an illness.
62:12Yeah. But, guys, Mike Evans, amazing. For the Niners, it's going to be CMC.
62:17It's going to be Purdy. It's going to be Kittle.
62:19And with all the injuries, it's going to be Mike Evans next week.
62:23Seahawks. We've got a problem here. The problem is not Jackson Smith and Jigba.
62:27He was awesome once again. Five for 102 with a touchdown.
62:31Also had play. It almost looked like a Sam Darnold pass, but it was ruled a rush.
62:36This could have easily been an extra... It could have been 23.8 points as opposed to 22.8 points.
62:41He's great. They play on Thursday night. Wouldn't surprise me if JSN is a DNP today and tomorrow in practice because he
62:47was clearly battling something with his ankle yesterday. Fox broadcast Brady and Burkhart were all over this.
62:52And he kept... They said he was refusing medical attention, not sounding the alarms for Thursday night and not playing.
62:58But if you see DNP, DNP, don't be shocked.
63:01The Seahawks have a backfield problem. Nobody come on the ball.
63:04I mean, guys, it was a comedy of errors yesterday.
63:07George Helani had two fumbles? He had one fumble that he recovered, one that he did not recover, and the Niners recovered
63:13it for a touchdown at the end of the first half.
63:16I don't know where the answers come from, whether Zach Charbonnet comes back soon, but it's still until Zach Charbonnet or somebody
63:23else has added the Emmanuel Wilson show, he ends up with 13.2 fantasy points.
63:27But for the Seahawks, really, it's Emmanuel Wilson, and then it's JSN.
63:30It's JSN. It's JSN, right? And then it's Emmanuel Wilson on the periphery.
63:34So no major surprises there for Seattle otherwise. Yep.
63:37Let's talk about Ravens and Falcons, my friend. Fun finish to the night last year.
63:41Very fun finish. Snoop Huntley, guys, had a, I mean, first off, looks great running the ball, but that man can throw some piss missiles.
63:48Let me tell you, 24 fantasy points. Absolutely crushes in this one.
63:52If you got Derrick Henry, Derrick Henry had 102 receiving yards.
63:55Does that say a receiving touchdown next to his box score?
63:58It sure does. Yes, it does. We love it when that happens with big Derrick Henry.
64:03Tyler Huntley honestly looked fantastic. 24 for 32, 201 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, plus a rushing touchdown.
64:08I mean, this is like, this is everything you could ever want.
64:12He got Zay Flowers involved, which as a part of it, the two guys that we want to make sure are still involved.
64:18If there's not Lamar Jackson, it's Zay Flowers and Derrick Henry.
64:22Both of those guys still eight. We love that.
64:24And Snoop, if for some reason he has to roll it back and Lamar misses more time, give me a little bit
64:31more excitement to potentially utilize him as a streaming option in upcoming weeks.
64:34I think I almost, my eyes were receiving me for a while, but I think I almost saw Kyle Pitts score a touchdown last night.
64:42It was somebody that looked like him. You did see Kyle Pitts score a touchdown.
64:46First of the season. It's true. Wow. It's true.
64:49First touchdown of the season. Didn't love it for Atlanta because I did sort of want a little bit more to go towards our guy Drake London.
64:57I did want a little bit more. What do you get, 9?
65:00118 receiving errors. Yeah, but did he get in the end zone?
65:04No. Okay, well I wanted him to be the one.
65:06118 still. Okay. Were you down by like 22?
65:09You needed a 22. I need, you need a little bit more than just that.
65:13Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hard to argue with what Drake London did last night.
65:17Yeah, he really crushed. He needed more there. The biggest problem is that Michael Penix Jr.
65:22might be out next week against the Bears. MRI on his ribs scheduled for today.
65:26Tua came in and overtime, unfortunately, threw an interception right off the bat.
65:30Right to Kyle Hamilton. Yeah, it wasn't great, unfortunately.
65:33That is going to potentially impact the way that we feel about these players, but I don't think it's going to impact
65:39the way that I'm going to rank either Bijan Robinson or Drake London if Michael Penix can't go.
65:44When I say that, I'm still going to be starting.
65:47It'll impact the way I start. I rank Drake London.
65:50It will not impact whether or not I play Drake London.
65:53That's a better way to say that. Yeah. That's fair.
65:56Yeah. Bijan, and the thing about Bijan is that he had 15.8 fantasy points last night, which is a totally passable number.
66:03The problem with Bijan now, and this goes to Jameer Gibbs on the other side as well, is that it's no longer
66:09measuring whether 15.8 fantasy points is okay or not.
66:12It's not 30. Right. Did the other guy, did the other mutant go for 30 or not?
66:17And when one of them goes for 37.7, the other one goes for 15.8, you're like, God damn it.
66:22I should have taken the other guy. 16 fantasy points?
66:25Yeah. Meanwhile, we're sitting here and we're like, yeah, you know, like Chase Bryant, he could probably get you 12 next week.
66:31Maybe Scadaboo gets you 10. It's like, oh, Bijan, only 15.8.
66:35It's amazing. So it's a funny game we play.
66:37Bijan will be fine. He looked awesome once again last night.
66:41As he always does. Multiple explosive runs. Just didn't find the end zone.
66:44Yep. Going to definitely await word on that MRI, obviously, and see what that means for this Falcons offense.
66:50Guys, let's talk about Monday Night Football. Yep. Bills and Rams in this one.
66:54A couple of lineup locks. And I mean, I would think, obviously, we got Josh Allen, lineup lock.
66:59James Cook, lineup lock. DJ Moore is not 100%.
67:02We're still waiting for some official word on that.
67:04Obviously, we're at the point now where it's Monday Night Football.
67:08You're probably past the, I might have someone else to roll if I don't go with DJ Moore.
67:13Mike Clay suggested a Colby Parkinson pit it. Potential tight end.
67:16Yeah. Or Keon Coleman if you added him off waivers.
67:19But we'll see on DJ Moore. He traveled. That's a good sign.
67:22Yes. But it sounds like this one's still up in the air, truly.
67:26Yep. 6.50 is when you'll find out for certain on DJ Moore.
67:30And if you are a Keon Coleman manager that was hoping that you could start him and DJ Moore wouldn't go, all
67:36you can do is just continue to hope. If Keon Coleman, I'm sorry, if DJ Moore is out, Keon Coleman's in.
67:42Like, he's a top 30 wide receiver player. Well, you might not have a choice because it's Monday Night Football.
67:48But yes, yes. You would feel a lot better about your Keon Coleman shares.
67:52For the Rams offense, it's as chalk as it can get.
67:55You're just starting Puka, you're just starting Devante Adams, you're just starting.
67:59Ryan Williams. And then who's the other fourth one?
68:02Matthew Stafford. Well, if you have to. Yeah. I think Stafford in this matchup.
68:06I mean, Drake May was quarterback one against the Bills last week.
68:09Over under 54 and a half. I mean, we're expecting a lot of points in this one.
68:14That's fair. I didn't start Matthew Stafford. Maybe I just had better quarterback options.
68:18You might have, yeah, yeah. But I'm saying if you have Matthew Stafford and you were considering him, it's not because you've screwed up the quarterback position.
68:26This is a legitimately good week to be starting Matthew Stafford.
68:29Do you remember who you took in this one?
68:32I don't. I think I took the Rams, but I don't recall.
68:35You took the Rams. Okay. I took the Rams.
68:38Liz, speaking on behalf of Mike Clay, are you going with the Rams or Bills in this one?
68:43They are three-point favorites at home. I'm taking the Rams.
68:46All right. Mike actually picked the Bills, right? Mike did pick the Bills, yes.
68:50Mike picked the Bills. So one of us will be right.
68:53That's why we call it an upgrade. Any Monday Night Miracles you guys need tonight?
68:58Yes, I need two Monday Night Miracles. Okay. In order to get a dub against Tyler Fulgham, I need both Josh Allen
69:04and Puka Nakua combined to score under 38.5 fantasy points.
69:07That's why it's called a miracle. I prefer to be Tyler.
69:10I would too. That's why it's a miracle. We'll see.
69:13We'll see. This Rams defense is legit. Under 38.5.
69:16So that's what I'm hoping for in this one.
69:18What about you guys? Back-to-back not great. I need Kyron to stay under 25.1 to beat our friend Adam Schefter in the worm.
69:25Okay. I'd say it's like he's definitely not out of it, but that's a good night.
69:30So it's coin flippy. I need 21 points out of James Cook.
69:33Okay. That's doable. That's doable. Maybe he's got to give him the ball at the goal line.
69:38Yes. Not getting a receiving game work. Just get in the end zone.
69:42He's touchdown dependent. Oh, Liz. I'm kidding. That's a good finish to the show, right?
69:46All right. We're going to wrap it up. Thank you so much for hanging out with us.
69:51Have fun watching Monday Night Football. We'll be back tomorrow, Liz and I, with Mike Clay.
