Brown just doesn't look like the same explosive receiver he was a few years ago. He's not creating meaningful separation; he's leaving plays on the field and some of the bigger gains we're seeing are coming late in games rather than from him consistently beating defenders.

Brown at total panic: 6 catches on 16 targets since return, no separation.

A.J. Brown is at total panic heading into Week 8; since returning from a high ankle sprain, he's caught six passes for 75 yards on 16 targets, showing poor production despite high volume. He doesn't look like the same explosive receiver from years past, isn't creating meaningful separation, and is leaving plays on the field. Rome Odunze is considering moving him to the 'Coping Corner' if separation doesn't improve and targets continue to produce empty results, with one more game to prove himself.
