Deshun Watson against the Bengals and Michael Penn against the Lions... I got Pennix still just a little bit lower. I'm not sure they're going to be facing a sort of trailing game script to coax out a bunch of pass attempts from him, but he's playing some really good football this year. And if he is given time to throw, well, man, Drake London, Bejian Robinson, Kyle Pittz, certainly plenty of good places to go with the football.

QB22 vs. Buccaneers; back-to-back 3+ TD games; elite receiving options if given time.
Ian Hartitz ranks Michael Penix Jr. as QB22 for Week 8 against the Buccaneers. Penix is playing good football this year with back-to-back 3+ TD games. If given time to throw—the Falcons have the best clean pocket expectations this week—he has multiple elite receiving options in Drake London, Bijan Robinson, and Kyle Pitts. Hartitz ranks him slightly lower due to uncertainty about trailing game script to generate pass attempts. Hartitz also recommends Penix as a streaming option for Week 13 against the Lions, alongside Deshaun Watson against the Bengals.
