Aaron Rodgers

PositiveProjection25:58

Ranked QB21 for Week 8 against the Browns. Rodgers has played solid football this year averaging QB20 fantasy points per game. A major driver of his success is the Steelers' refusal to run the football at the goal line—of nine plays called inside the 5-yard line this season, eight have been Aaron Rodgers drop backs, providing consistent red-zone passing volume.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

NegativeProjection12:00

Ian Hartitz ranks Baker Mayfield as QB23 for Week 8 against the Falcons, citing significant volume concerns despite improved arm talent. Mayfield threw only 11 passes last week, and while his arm talent and accuracy looked better than expected given his thumb injury ("Frankenstein glove"), the Buccaneers had a minus 20% drop back rate over expected—the third highest single-game mark of the entire season. This suggests Tampa Bay will likely continue running the football heavily, limiting Mayfield's pass volume. However, Hartitz identifies Mayfield as one of his two preferred QB streaming options for Week 11 against the Lions (alongside Malik Willis vs. Bills), during a week when the Falcons, Browns, Packers, Rams, Patriots, and Seahawks are on bye.

Insight page

Bo Nix

NegativeProjection28:14

Ranked QB24 for Week 8 against the Chiefs. Concerns about Jaylen Waltzkin's chest injury affecting receiving options and the Chiefs' recent success in limiting Bo Nix's production. Recent matchups show 295 passing yards with no touchdowns, 182 yards with one touchdown, and 131 yards with one touchdown. Ian Hartitz is fading Bo Nix this week but notes potential for higher ranking in Week 9 against the Panthers.

Insight page

Bryce Young

NegativeProjection8:05

Ian Hartitz ranks Bryce Young as QB9 for Week 8 against the Packers despite a poor prior outing against Tampa Bay (3.5 adjusted yards per attempt). Hartitz contextualizes the bad game as an outlier, noting that elite QBs like Dak Prescott and Patrick Mahomes have also struggled against Green Bay and Seattle respectively. The Panthers offense has been one of the league's best stories through six weeks. However, the Packers' defense, while improving, still lacks Michael Parsons and may struggle to exploit the Panthers' banged-up offensive line. The poor performance against Tampa Bay reflected the Packers' defensive strength: they held the Cowboys to 16 points, Steelers to 26 (no TDs), and shut down the Panthers.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

PositiveRole32:30

Bears wide receiver back and healthy, contributing to Malik Willis's improved fantasy output of 18.9-26 points over last two games.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeProjection12:48

Ian Hartitz ranks Caleb Williams as QB1 but tempers expectations for Week 8 against the Seahawks defense. Williams has thrown for 300+ yards in back-to-back games and is "playing fantastic football this year," but the matchup against the Mike McDonald-led Seahawks—ranked second-best defense in the league behind Minnesota—makes this "not the spot to be expecting a blowup game in." Additionally, Williams has limited rushing usage with just 21 scoreless yards on the ground over the last two weeks and few designed runs.

Insight page

Cam Ward

NegativeProjection29:58

QB27 ranking against the Bengals. Ward has only one game with more than 183 passing yards this year and is averaging fewer fantasy points per game than last season when he was already very poor. Historical analysis shows Ward is among 21 quarterbacks since 2000 who averaged under six yards per attempt in their first 24 starts, a list dominated by busts including Bryce Young and Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

PositiveProjection8:47

Dak Prescott is QB6 for Week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals. He showed signs of life Monday Night Football with three passing TDs and the Cowboys run game showing pulse. Cardinals defense is weak. Prescott has strong home/road splits: averaging 20.4 fantasy points per game at home vs. 15.9 elsewhere over the last five seasons. Ian Hartitz says you could bump Dak ahead of Trevor Lawrence and still be reasonable.

Insight page

Daniel Jones

NegativeProjection30:30

QB28 ranking with career-worst fantasy performance. Averaging 9.2 FPPG this year, below his previous career low of 12.9 FPPG and his 2023 shortened-season average of 9.5 FPPG (six games before injury). Last year averaged 17.3 FPPG. Despite 100% snap counts in every game, Ian Hartitz says Daniel Jones in 2026 is the worst version of himself in fantasy land and pretty much real life that has ever been seen. No improvement expected against the Jaguars.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

PositiveProjection11:45

Ian Hartitz ranks Deshaun Watson as QB17 for Week 8 against the Steelers, noting the Browns hung 27 points on Pittsburgh just three weeks ago. Watson has an NFL-high five game-winning drives and posted arguably his best performance in a Browns uniform in Week 7 against the Titans with over 300 passing yards (with a dropped 50-yard touchdown by Casey Conception). He scored his first rushing touchdown of the year last week. Despite facing a very good Steelers defense, Hartitz identifies Watson as one of his top two QB streaming options for Week 9 against the Saints (alongside Malik Willis vs. Lions) and recommends him as a streaming option for Week 13 against the Bengals.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveProjection3:10

Drake Maye has scored 23.8 and 27.4 fantasy points in his last two games despite AJ Brown's limited production, with the primary driver being his rushing ability. He is one of only four quarterbacks with triple-digit fantasy points from rushing dating back to week one of last season, alongside Josh Allen, Jackson Dart, and Jaylen Hertz. The Dolphins rank dead last in EPA allowed per drop back, making this a favorable matchup.

Insight page

Geno Smith

PositiveProjection11:25

Ian Hartitz ranks Gino Smith as QB15 for Week 8 against the Raiders, identifying him as one of the cleanest QB matchups of the week alongside Jacoby Brissett. Smith is facing a Raiders defense that allowed an NFL-high 170 fantasy points over the last five weeks. He posted arguably his best game of the year last week and performed well against the Lions—his two easiest matchups. The Seahawks offense is getting healthier with Breeze Hall returning and the wide receiver trio healthy for the first time since Week 1; Mason Taylor has proven capable as tight end. Hartitz describes the combination as "a good combination of quarterback playing fairly good football in favorable matchup with offense that should keep game moving." Among players available in 6% or more of Yahoo leagues, Hartitz recommends Smith as his second-choice QB streamer after Brissett, describing the matchup as "a sneaky shootout going on there."

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

PositiveProjection9:09

Jacoby Brissett is Ian Hartitz's top QB streamer for Week 8 against the Dallas Cowboys. Brissett has posted 8.44 yards per attempt and a 115 passer rating against Dallas dating back to Week 1 of last season across 19 starts in that matchup. Since AT&T Stadium opened in 2009, the Cowboys have allowed 22.3 fantasy points per game to opposing QBs since Monday night of last week—the second-most in the NFL behind Josh Allen's team. Despite some defensive improvements (Joey Porter Jr., Quinton Williams), the Eagles still scored 20 points with a depleted roster, suggesting volume should overcome Dallas's marginal defensive gains. Brissett's job security is confirmed for at least Week 8, though Carson Beck (dealing with a back injury) may eventually take over. Hartitz identifies Brissett as having one of the cleanest QB matchups of Week 8 alongside Gino Smith, combining favorable fantasy points allowed with pressure, success rate, explosive pass plays, and EPA metrics.

Insight page

Jared Goff

NegativeProjection13:15

Ian Hartitz ranks Jared Goff as QB12 despite being the number two quarterback in fantasy points per game this year, citing a very tough matchup against the Vikings. Since 2020, the Vikings rank number one in pressure and number one in blitz rate. Goff has cracked 300 yards only once against Brian Flores in six tries over the last few years and hasn't thrown for three touchdowns in any of those games. Additionally, Amon-Ra St. Brown's ankle injury "doesn't help matters." Hartitz notes Goff is "not someone I'm completely shying away from starting" but prefers Jacoby Brissett if available.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveProjection10:51

Jaden Daniels is QB8 for Week 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football. Despite poor passing stats over the last two years, fantasy returns remain solid: scored 17.7, 14.7, 32, and 21 fantasy points in four games this year. He cleared 300 yards even in the 49ers game despite Terry McLaurin out for the season. Primary fantasy value comes from rushing: Daniels 'does the one thing that we need in fantasy and that is run the hell out of the football.' The Eagles defense may be worse than expected.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

PositiveMatchup2:32

Joe Burrow has eight touchdowns against zero interceptions since the Bengals were 2-2, and is QB3 in fantasy points per game to this point. He faces the Tennessee Titans, whose secondary just allowed the Browns QB to throw for 300 yards for the first time in his career wearing a Browns uniform. When Burrow is right, he does big things, and the Titans matchup is favorable.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveProjection0:24

Allen is averaging 26.9 fantasy points per game, a mark topped only by 2019 Lamar Jackson in NFL history. The Bills offense ranks number one in the NFL in both explosive pass play rate (16+ yard passes per drop back) and explosive rushing (12+ yards per rush attempt), the highest marks in passing since the 2016 Kyle Shanahan Falcons and in rushing since rookie Cam Newton's 2011 season. With DJ Moore likely returning and the Bills' defense unable to stop anyone, Allen is positioned as the clear QB1.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection28:44

Ranked QB25 with career-low fantasy production. Averaging 10.4 fantasy points per game this year, which is six full fantasy points fewer than his previous career low mark of 16.4 FPPG. This represents a significant decline from his typical production levels and places him at QB34 in fantasy points per game.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeProjection23:23

Ranked QB14 for Week 8 but concerning performance trend. Scored fewer than 14 fantasy points in three of four starts this year and hasn't been great overall. Played poorly last week against banged-up Colts defense despite having healthy Jetta, Addison, and Hawkinson. Minnesota offense is slowest-moving in football by plays per minute and riding defense to victory. Only kept high due to Week 9 matchup against Lions defense (worst in league for fantasy points allowed to QBs); if it were a tough matchup, would be outside top 20. Ian Hartitz is very skeptical of boom version rest of way. Despite Vikings having best raw matchup of the week against Lions in terms of fantasy points allowed, Hartitz cannot rank Murray in the top 10 like Jacoby Brissett because the Vikings' offensive limitations offset the favorable matchup.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveProjection1:22

Lamar Jackson is expected to return against the Bills with cautious management suggesting close to 100% health when he takes the field. Despite having really good passing numbers and career-high marks across the board this year, the Ravens' creative offensive scheme—featuring Zay Flowers at fullback, Rashad Bateman motioned to the backfield, and screen plays—is generating consistent chunk gains. Jackson has the second-highest game total of the week at 53.5 points against Buffalo.

Insight page

Malik Willis

PositiveProjection11:45

Ian Hartitz ranks Malik Willis as QB18 for Week 8 against the Patriots, noting caution around Christian Gonzalez and the Patriots defense but highlighting Willis's recent upside. Over the last two games, Willis has averaged exactly eight rush attempts in each game while managing success through the air with Caleb Douglas back and healthy, posting 18.9 and 26 fantasy points—finally delivering the late-round QB upside he was drafted for. Hartitz identifies Willis as one of his top two QB streaming options for Week 9 against the Lions (alongside Deshaun Watson vs. Saints) and recommends him as a preferred streaming option for Week 10 against the Colts and Week 11 against the Bills. After Week 8, Willis faces a favorable stretch: Lions (28th), Colts (20th), Bills (29th), and Jets (24th) in pass defense rankings, making him a multi-week streaming target. Hartitz gives "kudos to Malik Willis playing some good football" and indicates he will discuss Willis further in the episode.

Insight page

Mason Taylor

PositiveRole29:08

Seahawks tight end proven capable and more than capable of being a damn good tight end in his own right; part of healthier offense welcoming back Bree Hall and healthy wide receiver trio.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

NegativeProjection30:13

QB16 ranking against the Chargers. Shocking to keep Stafford this high with basically just Puka Nacua as a weapon, but he's likely to throw three combined touchdowns to Davis Allen, Kobe Parkinson, Tyler Higbee, or other tight ends. Rams sitting pretty at seven-point favorites. Ian Hartitz does not expect 350 yards and three touchdowns, but projects 200-plus yards and multiple touchdowns to keep him in mid-tier QB2 conversation.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

PositiveProjection12:27

Ian Hartitz ranks Michael Penix Jr. as QB22 for Week 8 against the Buccaneers. Penix is playing good football this year with back-to-back 3+ TD games. If given time to throw—the Falcons have the best clean pocket expectations this week—he has multiple elite receiving options in Drake London, Bijan Robinson, and Kyle Pitts. Hartitz ranks him slightly lower due to uncertainty about trailing game script to generate pass attempts. Hartitz also recommends Penix as a streaming option for Week 13 against the Lions, alongside Deshaun Watson against the Bengals.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

NegativeProjection20:25

Ranked QB19 for Week 8 against Denver. Mahomes had a poor performance against Seattle and now faces a Broncos defense that will likely have Payton Manning back. Ian Hartitz expresses significant concern about the Chiefs' passing game explosiveness following the losses of Rasheed Rice and Taekwon Thornton; while the Chargers game showed 9.1 yards per 10 plays, the offense lacks explosive play capability. Cyrus Allen appears to be the best option but isn't receiving a full-time role. Rice's return from hamstring injury is uncertain. Mahomes is averaging a career-low 11 rushing yards per game, warranting low-end QB2 treatment with a very tough matchup and all arrows pointing down.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

PositiveMatchup21:39

Ranked QB20 for Week 8 against the Bears. Despite a horrific end-of-first-half interception in the end zone, Darnold posted his best game of the year by repeatedly targeting Justin Jefferson, arguably the best player on the planet. Ian Hartitz expects this target-spamming approach to continue against the Bears secondary, which has no one who can match up with Jefferson. While the Bears defense has good numbers and causes havoc despite defensive front injuries, recent QBs have performed well: Jordan Love went for 367 and two touchdowns, Bryce Young 361 and three, and Drake Maye 321 and two. Hartitz is not going out of his way to play Darnold but notes he is set up very well against the Bears.

Insight page

Tanner McKee

NegativeProjection29:24

QB26 ranking against the Commanders on Sunday Night Football. McKee looked adequate against the Cowboys on Monday night, but that was a low bar for a backup quarterback. His entire offense is injured, and he's a pocket-passing quarterback with limited receiving options beyond A.J. Brown. His performance against the Cowboys was bottom-three compared to all other quarterbacks' performances against Dallas dating back to Week 1 of last season.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveRole1:38

Zay Flowers looks like the most efficient wide receiver in football, with the Ravens' creative offensive scheme using him in unconventional ways—including lining him up at fullback and running go routes through the B gap. The Ravens' play-calling features consistent chunk-gain opportunities for Flowers, positioning him as a key part of Baltimore's offensive attack.

0:00It is a great day to break down my week eight fantasy football quarterback rankings. Going to be going one through 28, giving some fun facts and matchup
0:07data about each and every QB along the way. Also tackling some bigger picture topics, things that we are going to be
0:12looking at in terms of the very best and worst matchups of week eight and also what quarterbacks are your best streaming options to get through these
0:19buys as well as the rest of them because ladies and mostly gentlemen, those are not stopping anytime soon. But with all
0:24that said, appreciate you guys tuning in. And with that, let's get after it with tier one, the Big 10 led by QB1
0:31Josh Allen. Currently averaging, guys, 26.9 fantasy points per game. That's only been topped by 2019 Lamar Jackson NFL history. So, at the peak of his
0:41powers, even with an offense that by and large has barely had DJ Moore out on the field this season. So, the one stat
0:48that's really just blown me away though, the Bills right now, they're number one in the NFL in both explosive pass play
0:53rate, which I believe True Media defines as 16 plus yard passes per drop back.
0:57Also, explosive rushing. Okay, that's 12 plus yards per rush attempt. Not just this year though, these are the highest marks passing since the 2016 Kyle
1:06Shanahan, Matt Ryan, Julio Jones Falcons, and rushing since rookie year Cam Newton when he had Jonathan Stewart and D'Angelo Williams doing their thing
1:13on the ground as well. So, this Bills offense is the class of the league.
1:18Their defense can't stop anyone and they're probably getting DJ Moore back.
1:22Good luck, Baltimore. Good luck, QB2.
1:25This would help out that cause. Give me Lamar Jackson, assuming he is going to be back in the picture against the
1:29Bills. I am hopeful that's a situation where they've been cautious about bringing him back obviously and because of that, we should be expecting
1:37something close to 100% Lamar Jackson if and when he decides to take the field again. And if that's the case, man,
1:44shout out Declan Doro. Every single week, I see a couple more plays where it's like, man, what a thought there.
1:49Like, what actually went ahead and went into that? We had Zay Flowers playing fullback last week and actually running a go like through the B gap. Got tripped
1:56up, so it didn't work out. But you can see the idea there. Rashad Baitman is being motioned to the backfield, sprinting through the line, pulling away
2:03three freaking defenders as they just throw a little screen to Josh Quavas for a chunk gain. Every single week, man, something's going right. And
2:10accordingly, Zay Flowers looks like the most efficient wide receiver in football. And Lamar Jackson, despite having by and large really good passing
2:17numbers than their top Monkin, averaging career-high marks and everything really along the way this year as well. So, Bills, they've only been better in the
2:25Lions than you pay a lot per drop back.
2:27It's Lamar Jackson, second highest game total of the week at 53 and a half. Get your popcorn ready for Bills Ravens at 1
2:33p.m. for some reason. Look, I know we're going fantasy ranks, but really confusing schedule for me this week, guys. They have some of the best games
2:41all littered in the 1pm time slot. We have Cardinals Cowboys, which has a 54 and a half point game total. Obviously,
2:48Ravens Bills is the best match up of the week. Vikings Lions, that's also at 100 p.m. I mean, in the late afternoon
2:56slate, we have Chargers, Rams, Patriots, Dolphins, and Chiefs Broncos, which, you know, I guess is a good game, but not exactly expecting too many points. So be
3:03better schedule makers, please. QB3, I got Joe Burrow going up against the Tennessee Titans. Eight touchdowns against zero interceptions since Joe
3:12Burrow told the world that, you know, it wasn't Armageddon or anything after the Bengals were sitting there at two and two. So look, Titans secondary, I mean,
3:19they just allowed the other starting NFL QB in Ohio to throw for 300 yards for the first time that he was wearing a
3:25Browns uniform. So Joe Burrow when he's right, guys, does big things. And as Mo did most of this year, QB3 in fantasy
3:31points per game to this point. QB4. I got Drake May going up against the Miami Dolphins. The AJ Brown thing, it's been
3:37rough and we'll talk about it more in the wide receiver episode, but for purposes here, it hasn't really impacted Drake May all that much, guys. 23.8 and
3:4527.4 fantasy points even in these two games with AJB leaving a lot of production out there on the field. So, big thing has been just the overall
3:53goodness on the ground for Drake May.
3:54Something that's been a relative, you know, just expectation since the beginning of last season. The only quarterbacks with tripledigit fantasy points from rushing dating back to week
4:02one of last season. Josh Allen, Jackson Dart, Jaylen Herz, and Mr. Drake May.
4:07Dolphins now dead last in EPA allowed per drop back. Yikes. Next up, I got QB5. Trevor Lawrence going up against the Indianapolis Colts. Did not have
4:17Amed Gardner last week. Still managed to actually, I think, perform better than many expected against uh, you know, Ky Murray and company. But, you know, I
4:24think that's a bit more of a Kyler Murray problem. So, here's the thing with Trevor Lawrence. Honestly, he's got plus 900 MVP odds. This is the fourth
4:31highest mark. I think he checks a lot of the boxes in terms of just being a quarterback putting up good numbers in a
4:36good offense for a team that could find itself near the top of the conference by the time the year is done. Trevor
4:43Lawrence is playing the best football of his career from a real life perspective.
4:48The problem is we're down fantasy points compared to last season overall because the rushing just hasn't been there. This dude had nine rushing touchdowns in
4:562025, zero through seven weeks of 2026.
5:00So, I could see him getting back going a little bit. This Colts defense loves to run man coverage. And when we do see
5:05defenders really latched on to their individual assignments that turn their back of the QB, we usually see that correlate with more quarterback rushing
5:12production.
5:13Mostly, I'm betting on Trevor Lawrence getting more production going on the overall counting numbers because he's playing such good football. He's got
5:21playmakers all over the place and it's a Jaguars offense that's been good, not great running the football honestly. A little bit more mid depending on the
5:27stats you're looking at. More volume will be appreciated in a winnable matchup for Tall QB6. I'm going with Dak Prescott against the Arizona Cardinals.
5:35Saw him come to life a little bit there on Monday Night Football. Three touchdowns through the air, but actually also saw the Cowboys run game for once
5:42this year show a bit of a pulse as well.
5:44So Cardinals defense is nothing to write home about. And Dak has been an even bigger world beater at Jerry Ralden on
5:49the road, averaging 20.4 fantasy points per game at home compared to 15.9 elsewhere over the course of the last five seasons. So honestly, if you want
5:56to bump Dak up ahead of Trevor Lawrence, I would still call you Superman and you know, not not just yell you for being
6:03crazy. All right, we can all have opinions in this world. QB7, I got Jordan Love going against the Carolina Panthers. Kind of a fun Thursday night
6:10game if we get the good version of the Panthers offense going again. But look, Jordan Love would be the only quarterback in the league with multiple
6:16touchdowns passing in every single game this season if it wasn't for Matthew Golden's touching Will Fo tribute against the Cowboys a few short weeks
6:23ago. So look, it's a team that's loved to throw the ball downfield. And by love, I mean, oh my god, Jordan Love
6:28will not stop doing this. He has 31 pass attempts, throwing at least 25 yards downfield this season. That's 10 more the next closest quarterback. So yeah,
6:37some of them, you know, borderline arm punts out there. Saw that long interception last week. But look, it's a Panthers team that I don't think on
6:44their pass defense or run defense, they deserve the benefit of the doubt. Jordan Love, Christian Watson, Matthew Gordon, Tucker Craft, even a returning Josh
6:51Jacobs doing good things in the passing game. I trust his Packers offense. And accordingly, I trust Jordan Love in Fantasy Land. QB8, I'm going with Jaden
6:59Daniels against the Eagles here on Sunday Night Football. I don't think the Eagles defense will be that bad moving forward, but man, that was a tough look
7:07against Dak Prescott and company there on Monday night. So with Jaden Daniels, I would just say as much as he has been
7:14bad, all right, for the better part of the last two years, depending on pretty much any passing stat you want to look
7:19at, the fantasy returns have still been fine. This year in four games, he scored 17.7 fantasy points, 14.7 and 1/2 against the Cowboys, 32 and then 21.
7:30Even that 49ers game, he cleared 300 yards. You know, Terry McLaren is out for the bulk of it and that's going to
7:35be the case obviously for the rest of the season as well. So Stefon Diggs, Antonio Williams, Chigosia Mcconquo, you know, Trayon Burks, I don't think we'll
7:42be writing songs about this pass catching group anytime soon. But Jaden Daniels does the one thing that we need in fantasy and that is run the hell out
7:49of the football. So, you know, and if this Eagles defense is going to suck, guys, maybe uh ranking is even a little
7:54bit low. I don't know if you saw Wade Phillips on the Manning cast, but he had a great line. He basically said there
7:59are only two plays that the Eagles can't stop. That's the run and the pass. Well done, Wade. QB9, I'm going Bryce Young
8:05against the Packers. It was really bad against the Buccaneers, but they've been doing this to guys, man. Packers only scored 17 points against this group. The
8:14Cowboys had 16. Steelers got to 26 no T, but then they shut down the Panthers as well. Very impressive performance that
8:22really brought out the worst in Bryce Young. We're talking about 3 freaking five adjusted yards per attempt. That's bad. And the sacks played a big role in
8:30that. We also saw Dak Prescott have a game like that against the Packers. We saw Patrick Mahomes do it last week
8:35against the Seahawks. These things happen. Now I get it. Dak and Mahomes have had a much better track record than Bryce Young. Some guys deserve more
8:46benefit of the doubt than others. Bryce Young and this Panthers offense one of the best stories in the league for the
8:51first six weeks of the year. I'm not going to let one very bad 60 minutes of football completely take away from that
8:57against a Packers defense that while they have been improving, still not expecting to get Michael Parsons back just yet. And I don't think accordingly
9:03they'll be able to fully take advantage of the biggest issue with this Panthers offense, that being their banged up, very, very pricey offensive line. QB10
9:11streamer of the week. We're doing this again, guys. Jacobe Brassette going up against the Dallas Cowboys. If you had to guess, what defense has brought out
9:19the most efficient of Jacob, most efficient version of Jacobe Brassette dating back to week one of last season?
9:2519 starts.
9:27Cowboys easily 8.4 4 yards per attempt, 115 passer rating in that matchup in Jerry World last season. And don't look now, guys. This one kind of surprised
9:35me. Since Jerry World opened in 2009, the Cardinals have the most wins without a loss than any other team in the NFL.
9:44They're 4-0. 4-0 at AT&T Stadium. Kyler Murray still never lost a game there.
9:50That one always blows me away. But look, after Monday night, going back to the beginning of last season, the Cowboys are allowing 22.3 fantasy points per
9:59game to opposing quarterbacks.
10:02There's Josh Allen leading the NFL and there's whoever is playing the Dallas Cowboys as the number two quarterback in fantasy football. That's how bad the
10:10group is. So, I think Joey Porter Jr.'s helped out the secondary. Quinnon Williams is obviously live around the line of scrimmage. They see the Marvy
10:15and Overone go out there and make some plays. They got some dogs out there. All right. But we also saw the Tanner McKe
10:22led Eagles without their RB1, RB2, RB3, RB4, wide receiver one, and wide receiver two, and a bend up offensive line. Still go for 20 points, still
10:31string together these 16, 17 play drives where again, Dallas could do absolutely nothing to stop them. So maybe the Cowboys are going from the the dead
10:40worst defense in the league to something closer to like 28th. Either way, volume should win out. I don't know how much
10:46longer Jody Brassette's going to have this job. It's at least for one more week, though. We've gotten that confirmed from Michael Flor and Carson
10:52Beck. Don't look now. Did miss the last couple practices of last week with a back injury. So, not sure they're going
10:57to be able to turn it over sooner rather than later. I don't think Jacob is going to be the starting QB after this next
11:02stretch from weeks 9 through 11. They face the Seahawks, Rams, and Chiefs. But for one glorious week eight against the Cowboys, I think everything will be fine
11:09for the Garbage Time Merchant. Once again, key question here though, guys.
11:13Obviously, Jacobe is going to be our top streaming option for week eight, but I wanted to go ahead and look ahead as
11:18well and give you guys the quarterbacks who I do believe have the best combin combination of some level of fantasy upside and a very good matchup to get
11:25ahead of your league mates again trying to find that right QB streaming option before it's time to go ahead and battle
11:30everyone else for him. So, week eight again, we got the Texans, Saints, Giants, and Niners on the buy. I do think Jacobe is going to be your best
11:36bet. After him though, among guys available in 6% or more of Yahoo leagues, I would go with Gino Smith against the Raiders and what could be a
11:43sneaky shootout going on there. Week nine, Steelers and Titans, I'm buy. So, I don't think too many people are dying to have, you know, Aaron Rogers or Cam
11:51Ward exactly lead your team in the first place, but Malik Willis against the Lions and then Deshun Watson against the Saints would be my top two streaming
11:57options there. Week 10, if you have the Bears, Broncos, Eagles, or Buccaneers quarterback, I think you should be looking at Malik Willis going up against
12:05the Colts or Gino Smith going up against the Bills as your preferred streaming option. By Meddon this year, guys, is week 11. We got the Falcons, Browns,
12:12Packers, Rams, Patriots, and Seahawks all on by during that week. Again, Malik Willis has a nice matchup against the Bills and also Baker Mayfield against
12:20the Lions. Those would be the two quarterbacks that be prioritizing for them. Week 13, we got the Ravens, the Colts, the Raiders, and Jets on by the
12:27Deshun Watson against the Bengals and Michael Penn against the Lions. Web two picks there. And finally, all the way up there in week 14, guys, Cardinals and
12:34Cowboys on by. Malik Willis against the Bears and Michael Penn against the Browns. So, kudos to Malik Willis playing some good football. We'll talk
12:41about him more in a bit. Tier two, guys, we got good QBs with a question mark.
12:46All right, so QB1, Caleb Williams. He's throwing for 300 plus yards in back-to-back games. I just have so much respect for this Mike McDonald led
12:53Seahawks defense. All right, when you do look at just the best overall performing groups in the league, it's definitely the Vikings, but just underneath them,
13:00we do have the Seattle Seahawks, and there's a bit of another gap between them to the Buccaneers and some of the
13:05other top groups in the league. So, look, great offense can be great defense, and I do think there is a great
13:10offense brewing in Chicago. The only thing that also holds me back though in addition to the matchup, we just haven't seen Caleb completely take the training
13:18wheels off as a rusher since he's returned from injury, just 21 scoreless yards on the ground over these last two weeks. And it has felt a bit intentional
13:26with Caleb getting the ball out quicker and not having really really many if any designed runs being called to this point. So Caleb, I still think he's
13:33playing fantastic football this year.
13:35This just isn't the spot to be expecting a blowup game in. Same sentiment for QB12 Jarro Goff. the number two quarterback in fantasy points per game
13:43this year, Jared Goff. Just a very tough matchup against the Blitz Happy Vikings guys. So, since 2020, which is as far
13:49back as I can get these numbers to go, this Vikings group ranks number one in pressure and number one in overall blitz
13:54rate. Are they that dominant though? The numbers say they are. I just look at the schedule. I know you can do this for
14:03several teams. It's only been seven weeks of the year.
14:07Week one against the Packers, Jordan Love for 350 yards. They made some big plays to Christian Watson, even later down the stretch, Matthew Golden. So,
14:14that was obviously a good performance for the Packers. Vikings won late. They overcame. Obviously, they've won every game this year. I get it. But the
14:20Packers game did show some flaws. All right. Since then, they faced Caleb Williams for three quarters in a very much weather impacted game in week two.
14:29They faced the Buccaneers, then they faced the Dolphins, then they faced the Saints, and they faced the Daniel Jones like Colts last week.
14:37This defense under Brian Flores has been really good more years than not with him there. But it's a very highly volatile
14:45way of playing football. When it's right, man is it right. And they just eat these young quarterbacks or bad quarterbacks alive. That's not Jared
14:53Goff. That said, in this matchup, we've only seen him crack 300 yards once against Brian Flores six tries over the last few years. Hasn't thrown for three
15:01touchdowns in any of those games. A Monro St. Brown deal with an ankle injury. I don't think it's going to keep
15:06him out of the game, but it really doesn't help matters. QB12 for me, Jared Goff, not someone I'm completely shying away from starting, but if you can find
15:15Jacobe Brassette out there, or you happen to have two options, I can see why you're going away from him in this
15:19spot. QB13, I'm going with Kirk Cousins against the Jets. Similar to Jacobe, we did get word already from Clint Kubak that it will be Kirk Chains under center
15:28once again. We'll have to wait at least another week for the again Fernando Mendoza experience to go ahead and get here. But Jets defense not exactly
15:35terrifying. Not a horrible group, but again, not not something we should be overly worried about. When we have the volume that we do with Kirk,
15:41particularly if they continue to fall behind, man, last three games entering the fourth quarter, they've been down 25, 10, and 22 points. It has helped,
15:48you know, Kirk and company go ahead and get that volume late, and it all counts the same in fantasy land. But hey,
15:52buried the lead here. NFL passing touchdown leader Kurt Cousins with 16.
15:57Shout out, man. UN still got it.
15:59obviously, you know, doesn't have the biggest weapons to work at with either outside of Brock Powers, of course, and Trey Tucker playing some good ball. But
16:05yeah, Raiders, Jets guys, sneaky shootout of the week here for sure.
16:10QB14, I'm going with Kylo Murray. It just scares me still because this year, guys, the Vikings have the league's best defense and EPA allowed per play and the
16:20third worst offense. Then we have the Buffalo Bills who have the best offense and the second worst defense. So they face each other in week nine. Wow. Get
16:30ready for that one. Just stoppable force versus movable object on both sides of the football. So unstoppable versus movable. Always messed that one up.
16:38Anyway, I hated what I saw from Kyler in this passing game last week. Played really well in six quarters before their buy
16:46and then you had a buy and you got to go up against a banged up Colts defense that's not all that good in the first
16:51place. Healthy Jetta, healthy Addison, healthy Hawinson. And we still couldn't get anything going. It's the slowest moving offense in football, the
16:58Minnesota offense that is, in terms of plays per minute.
17:02They're just riding the defense to victory. And honestly, who can blame them. Can they do that against the Lions? Remains to be seen. It is the
17:08worst defense in the league in terms of fantasy points being allowed to opposing quarterbacks.
17:14That's what's keeping Kyler up here because I'll tell you what, if it was a tough matchup, he'd be outside the top
17:1820. He scored fewer than 14 fantasy points in three of four starts this year. Just hasn't been great. I'm very skeptical that we get a boom version of
17:27Kyler the rest of the way. If he was going to be able to do it though, this would be a matchup we'd expected in QB
17:3415. I got Gino Smith going against the Raiders last week, arguably his best game of the year. Also performed well against the Lions and the fact that
17:40those were his two easiest matchups. Not exactly lost on me, but you know, also an offense that's getting a lot healthier. Should be welcoming Bree Hall
17:48back. We had the wide receiver trio healthy for the first time since week one. And even with a little bit of a
17:52banged up Kon Sadiq out there, Mason Taylor has proven capable, more than capable of being a damn good tight in his own right. So with Gino Smith,
18:00again, he's facing a Raiders defense that's allowed an NFL high 170 points over the last five weeks. I think it's a
18:06good combination of a quarterback playing fairly good football, at least in a good matchup, which he has with another offense on the other side of the
18:13football that should be able to keep this game moving. Again, love the potential over in this Jets Raiders matchup. Q16. I got Matthew Stafford
18:21guys going up against the Chargers. It's kind of shocking that we can keep Stafford this high with basically just Puka out there, but you know, probably
18:27throw three combined touchdowns to Davis Allen to Kobe Parkinson, maybe even Tyler Higgby, maybe even other tight ends who we don't even know exist at
18:34this point in time. So, we still got Puka out there doing their thing. Rams sitting pretty at seven point faves. I
18:40don't exactly expect Stafford to go for 350 and three touchdowns, but I do think 200 plus and multiple touchdowns enough to keep him in the mid-tier QB2
18:48conversation.
18:49QB 17 Deshun Watson NFL high five game-winning drives which is a silly stat but you know I guess credit where credit is due. It was rough in weeks
18:58five and six and then we got arguably Watson's best performance wearing a Browns uniform in week seven. Yes, it was against the Titans but that's the
19:05first time post Houston we've seen Watson throw for over 300 yards and that was with Casey Conception dropping potentially another you know 50 yard
19:12touchdown on top of things there. So Watson's been running around a lot, scored his first rushing touchdown of the year last week. And it's now a
19:19situation where yes, TJ Watt, the Steelers defense, very good group. You know, it's going to be certainly a tougher test in Tennessee, but only have
19:26to go back what, three weeks to find the last time the Browns hung 27 on the Steelers defense. So Deshawn QB 17 for
19:32me here in week eight. QB18, I'm going Malik Wils against the Patriots, guys.
19:37Now, this is the one spot I'm not thrilled about trying to play Malik in.
19:42And hey, maybe he keeps it going. All right. He's averaged eight rush attempts or I think he's had exactly eight in
19:47each of these last two games. Managed to get some success going through the air.
19:50We got Caleb Douglas back and healthy doing his thing. 18.9 26 fantasy points for Malik Willis over these last two games. So, he's finally giving people
19:58some of that late round QB upside that he was drafted for in the first place.
20:02It's just a little bit of respect for Christian Gonzalez and the Patriots here, guys. But after this week, Lions, Colts, Bills, and Jets, four ducks in a
20:10row here for the Dolphins, guys. 28th, 20th, 29th, and 24th. And you pay a lot for per drop back. Again, if you need a
20:17streaming QB for the next freaking five weeks, you can do a lot worse than Malik Willis. QB19. Patrick Mahomes, man. It
20:25was just one game, but it was a damn bad one. And I know it was a Seahawks, but now it's in Denver likely getting Pastor
20:32Tan back. I would imagine he is there.
20:33And honestly, they've still performed pretty well without him. It's just so tough. I remember sitting here talking to you guys a couple weeks ago and it
20:40was like, "All right, this offense, you lose Rasheed Rice and Taekwon Thoron, is Mahomes in the passing game be able to
20:46keep on keeping on?" And then I kind of caught myself and I was like, "Oh yeah, Rasheed Rice and Taekwon Thornton.
20:52That's why Mahomes is playing better this year." But through two games, at least a question.
21:00Chargers game was fine. We still averaged 9.1 yards per 10. Didn't get the touchdowns, but they're a pretty good pass defense as well. That was a
21:06nice performance.
21:08I just don't know how they can get explosive plays at this point in the passing game. Cyrus Allen looks like their best bet, but they're still
21:14refusing to give him a full-time role.
21:16Maybe they do get Rashi Rice back, but similar to what we saw earlier in the year, like he wasn't moving the way we
21:22were used to seeing previously to start the season, now coming back from a hamstring injury, I can't exactly expect him to be at 100%. We need some trades
21:31and we need them fast. All right. I think low-end QB2 fantasy treatment and a very tough matchup with the passing game all arrows pointing down is
21:39warranted when we have Mahomes averaging a career low 11 rushing yards per game.
21:43QB20 I got Sam Donald going up against the Bears. Horrific end of the first half interception in the end zone aside
21:51his best game of the year pretty easily.
21:53All right. And was a lot of that simply a function of Darnold repeatedly spamming targets to arguably the best player on planet Earth right now,
22:00Jackson Smith and Jigba. Yeah, I think it was. Is that going to be changing anytime soon against the Bears secondary with nobody that can match up with this
22:07dude? Don't think it will be changing.
22:09So, Bears defense has some good numbers.
22:11They're actually causing a lot of havoc this year, even though they have, you know, a bunch of injuries kind of going
22:15on the defensive front. But Jordan Love went for 367 and two touchdowns. Bryce Young 361 and three. Even Drake May last
22:22week 321 and two scorers on his own. So, Sam McDonald for me not going out of my way to play the guy, but set up very
22:27well against the Bears. Speaking of teams are set up well guys, I want to go through the best on paper passing game
22:33matchups this week. In the past, I've mostly focused on pressure, but I thought, hey, it's week eight. Let's step things up and get some more stats
22:38out here. So, blue is going to be good, red is going to be bad. I have ordered every single quarterback matchup by the
22:45fantasy points per game matchup from the defense. Otherwise, we had those combined metrics I like to use with pressure, success rate, explosive pass
22:51plays, and EPA that again are being weighted both by the offensive performance and the defensive performance, just giving us oneway streets instead of always having to go
22:58the offense ranks X and the defense ranks Y. So, with that guys, among the best matchups of the week in terms of
23:04fantasy points per game, they go to the Vikings, the Cowboys, the Eagles, the Ravens, and the Jets facing off against the Lions, Cardinals, Commanders, Bills,
23:11and Raiders, respectively. It's most clean, and also we have the Cardinals against the Cowboys. That's the other one. The most clean matchups here pretty
23:19easily go to Gino Smith and Jacob Brassette amongst the usual suspects, right? Because even though Ky Murray and the Vikings, they had the best matchup
23:28of the week in terms of fantasy points against the Lions, when you also factor in the Vikings offense. You guys can see
23:35it for yourself. It's just all of a sudden not nearly as clean of a situation. That's why I can't get Kyler
23:40into the top 10 say like someone with Jacobe. So that was my big goal here was just trying to add credence to the idea
23:46where we saw it last week. What was the matchup? I think it was the Raiders.
23:52Was that them? It's just the idea of teams like the Raiders, teams like maybe the Browns offensive line. You can say
24:01they have a good matchup, but when they're as bad as they are at that facet of the game, that's where I'm like, is
24:06it really can it ever really be a good matchup? So I think this does a good job of showing how again fantasy points.
24:11Yeah. Okay. A lot of teams have scored against the Lions. Can we expect Kyler and company to do that themselves?
24:16That's where it's a little bit tougher.
24:17So, four main takeaways though from this overall. Jacobe and Gino Smith best streaming options for this week. I mentioned for Kyler Murray, it's just
24:24not as much of a splash spot as you would expect given the overall limitations of the Vikings offense. I think the best bet for the Bears and
24:30Lions who are down here with the worst matchups of the week in terms of those fantasy points. As we can see though,
24:35bright blue marks and explosive pass play rates. So if we are going to see the Bears and also Lions overcome their
24:41respective tough spots would make sense when they do so with big plays and to their credit they've been able to do
24:46that this season. And then last point Buccaneers defense very very good this year. All right not just against the run like in most years with VA but also
24:54against the past. If the Falcons are going to be able to overcome that I think it's going to be by giving Michael
24:59Penn pockets. And to be fair with the combined pressure rates they do have the best expectations for clean pockets of any offense this week. So, I got Pennix
25:07still just a little bit lower. I'm not sure they're going to be facing a sort of trailing game script to coax out a
25:12bunch of pass attempts from him, but he's playing some really good football this year. And if he is given time to
25:16throw, well, man, Drake London, Bejian Robinson, Kyle Pittz, certainly plenty of good places to go with the football.
25:22But guys, before we get into the last batch of rankings, I did want to note that football season, hey, it's in full

25:55Head to slim.com today to get started.
25:58All right, guys. Handful more rankings here. We got QB21 Aaron Rogers leading off tier three of the other guys going against the Browns. He's played solid
26:06football this year and still just, you know, the QB 20 and fantasy points per game. I think a big part for that
26:11success is just the Steelers refusing to run the football by the goal line. This offense has had nine plays called inside
26:17the 5yd line. Eight of them have wound up being Aaron Rogers drop back. So look, we'll take that in fantasy land.
26:23It is a Browns defense though that you know, six EPA allow for drop back, 13th against a run. really are playing some
26:29good ball and again getting healthier guys like Mason Graham back in the picture. QB22 mentioned before Michael Penn has backto-back games of three plus
26:37passing touchdowns and maybe Kyle Pittz decides that the Buccaneers defense is going to be getting got just like they were last year in what week 15 when he
26:45dropped three touchdowns on them. Just the problem is this remains a run first offense if they can help it. 31st drop
26:50back rate over expected this season. So again kudos to the Buccaneers. I would say out of respect to that defense.
26:57That's the only reason I have Michael Penn higher this week. But as we talked about earlier, he's someone that also does have some good streaming matchups
27:03coming up. QB23 Baker Mayfield against the Falcons. He only threw 11 passes last week, but I thought the arm talent, accuracy, and everything. It looked
27:13better than I was expecting, guys, given the Frankenstein glove that they had going on. The Tampa Bay Rays helped them get together. There was a play early on
27:20where he was able to kind of get outside the pocket and then rolling to his right just threw a dart to TZ Johnson on the
27:24sideline. That again really answered many most of the questions I had about his ability to physically still play quarterback at a high level. The problem
27:32is he just threw only 11 passes guys and it really wasn't totally due to the game script. I mean that obviously help
27:38matters but again drop back rate over expected fun stuff from fantasylife.com.
27:43It adds game context, you know, down distance, scoreboard, all that sort of things to your drop backs. Minus 20% drop back rate over expected for the
27:52Buccaneers last week. That's the third highest single game mark of the entire season. So Atlanta, they're a defense that can cause a lot of havoc, man. The
28:01line of scrimmage has been a surprising development because of how many key guys they've had outside the front seven, but they've been good more times than not.
28:08And I do think the Buccaneers will probably try to get away with another game of just running the football. I'm keeper Baker Mayfield low in the ranks.
28:14Not as much this week because of the thumb, more so because of the expected volume. QB24, I got Bicks going up
28:21against the Chiefs. If he wants to run for 60 yard touchdowns every single week, awesome. We'll get him up in the
28:25ranks. But I don't know if he's going to have alleged number one wide receiver Jaylen Wald out there with a chest
28:30injury. And now it's just a Chiefs team that has pretty successfully defanged him in recent matchups. 295 and no touchdowns, 182 and one touchdown, and
28:37more recently 131 and just one touchdown against the Spagnola and company. I am good on Bo Knicks, but we'll talk to him
28:44about being maybe higher in week nine against the Panthers. QB25, welcome back. Justin Herbert, 10.4 fantasy points per game from Justin
28:52Herbert this year, guys. That's a full six fewer fantasy points than previous career low mark. QB 34 in fantasy points per game. There's only 32 NFL teams. I
29:04had an honest thought in August and I was like, "Oh, the Super Bowl's in Los Angeles this year. What if the Rams play
29:09the Chargers and then all Los Angeles Super Bowl? That's something I thought could happen two months ago. Sad. QB26.
29:18I got Tanner McKe going up against the Commanders on Sunday Night Football. So, he looked good enough on Monday night.
29:24Low bar, backup quarterback. His whole offense is hurt. It was the Cowboys though, guys. And against the Cowboys, it was actually like a bottom three
29:31performance based on everyone else's performance against the Cowboys going back to week one of last season. So, just not much to do here. here. He's a
29:38pocket passing quarterback without many guys other than Mai Lemon to even throw the football to at this point. QB27. I got Cam Ward guys going against the
29:46Bengals. He has one game with more than 183 passing yards this year. He's actually averaging fewer fantasy points per game than they did last year and he
29:52was really bad at that last season. So, rough, rough, rough. I looked at it.
29:57There's a list of 21 quarterbacks that average under six yards per attempt in their first 24 starts since 2000. It's one bust after another. You got Bryce
30:08Young in there. He's doing some good things. You got Ryan Fitzpatrick in there. You got Cam Warden in there, man.
30:14Not looking good. And finally, we got QB28, Daniel Jones. So, here's the especially annoying part with Daniel Jones this year, guys. All the numbers
30:22are, if not the worst of his career, that 2023 season, maybe a little bit worse. But he's been horrific. Banged up
30:29offense. We all get it. But, you know, he was still bad in earlier years with the Giants, too. But, he was still
30:35pretty good in fantasy. at least decent.
30:39In 2023, he averaged 9.5 fantasy points per game. That was like a weird six game shortened season before he got hurt. His
30:47previous career career low was 12.9.
30:49Last year was at 17.3. This year 9.2.
30:53Man, 100% snap counts in every game.
30:57Daniel Jones in 2026 is the worst version of himself in fantasy land and pretty much real life that we've ever seen. Don't expect that to be getting
31:06better against the Jaguars, who by the way, guys. I know it's a quarterback episode. The Jaguars are coming off the buy. They should be available in a lot
31:15of fantasy leagues. That DST, we obviously love them this week against the Colts. If you can stomach week nine against the Ravens, or maybe that's when
31:22you pick them up, all right, after they after that game. Anyway, from weeks 8 through 12, the Jaguars, who are good
31:30defense, and they get after the quarterback pretty well. Not incredible, but they're they're good. Okay, Colts, Ravens, Titans, Giants, Titans these
31:40next five weeks. You can do a lot worse than having the Jaguars DST for that.
31:44Last question to get you guys out of here. I want to go through what quarterbacks have been the most fun to
31:47watch this season. All right, because isn't football supposed to be a little bit of fun at the end of the day. So,
31:52one way I like to kind of try to quantify this over the years, and I got inspired by Jameus Winston uh back in
31:57the day with this PFFs, two stats, big-time throw rate and turnover worthy play rate. Yes, they are a little bit subjective, but having gone through and
32:04see what these guys do consider big- time throws in terms of worthy plays, I do believe these to be directionally correct. So, with that plotted these
32:10with a minimum of 60 dropbacks on a handy dandy graph in Excel and accordingly guys, we get some very lame quarterbacks who this year, at least in
32:18terms of their throwing stuff. We see Kyler Murray, Jaden Daniels, Tanner McKe, and Tyler Huntley standing out there. in terms of guys who have brought
32:25a lot of bad and also not much good to the table. Case Keenum, Daniel Jones, and sadly Justin Herbert. Lots of good
32:32and lots of bad. That's kind of what we're looking for like entertaining QB play for better or for worse. Guys that
32:38you want to be having on the quad box or, you know, when they cut away when you see, you know, Jameus Winston in a
32:43cut to on Red Zone channel, it gets your attention. Like that's kind of what we're looking for here. Marcus Mariota leading the way, man. Yeah, it's a small
32:50sample size, I guess. So if you wanted to go with, you know, removing him and just looking at the guys who have had
32:55more dropbacks, Drake May, Jordan Love, Michael Pennix, and yes, Jameus Winston, sprinkle Sam Darnold there as well, really standing out as the most
33:03entertaining deuce for better and for worse. However, I can't help but give a little credit to the artist formerly known as Nine up there in the top
33:10lefthand corner, JJ McCarthy. Man, number one big-time throw rate in the NFL right now and honestly doing a pretty good job protecting the football
33:19as well.
33:20I'm sitting here, guys. I sit here every single day pretty much wearing this Ohio State hat. All right. JJ McCarthy freaking annoyed me over the years. And
33:28you know, I'm not going to lie, seeing him not exactly go great in Minnesota wasn't the saddest I've ever been after
33:33this dude broke my heart freaking every Saturday after Thanksgiving for a good three, four years stretch. He played really freaking good last week. the
33:42mixtape of best throws, which I went ahead and threw tears published on Twitter because I do contrary to some belief. Try to be, you know, I'm biased
33:51out here. All right, you guys, you guys fantasy teams matter. Not who I freaking like because of what they did to my Ohio
33:56State Buckeyes three years ago.
33:59McCarthy looks good, man. And is he staring down the first read a little bit? Just letting it rip there. Yeah. Is
34:06that the worst thing in the world when Beyond Neighbors and Isaiah Likely, why even worry about going to progressions?
34:13That's the other argument. And to be fair, man, Malachi Field, some of these throws on the sideline almost hit I think it was Jaylen Hyde on a ridiculous
34:20one where he's freaking falling over trying to get velocity on it, but kind of working.
34:26I don't know if this is going to persist for another 10 weeks and JJ McCarthy is now suddenly a great quarterback, but at
34:32least for five quarters in 2026, man, he's looked far better than I can ever say he has in his career. He did that
34:40against the Texans, who I know have been worse off. All right, but there's still a good defense somewhere there in Houston.
34:49All right, and JJ did really freaking good. And it wasn't just neighbors making one big play after another and bailing them out. really was some
