Ian Hartitz ranks Jared Goff as QB12 despite being the number two quarterback in fantasy points per game this year, citing a very tough matchup against the Vikings. Since 2020, the Vikings rank number one in pressure and number one in blitz rate. Goff has cracked 300 yards only once against Brian Flores in six tries over the last few years and hasn't thrown for three touchdowns in any of those games. Additionally, Amon-Ra St. Brown's ankle injury "doesn't help matters." Hartitz notes Goff is "not someone I'm completely shying away from starting" but prefers Jacoby Brissett if available.
