A.J. Brown

PositiveProjection0:08

Ranked as WR19, Ian Hartitz believes this is too low for AJ Brown and projects a potential blowup game against the Bears. While Brown's recent drop issues are noted, Hartitz argues that high drop counts often correlate with elite target volume and that Brown remains a top-tier receiver who excels against man coverage, which the Bears run frequently.

Insight page

Adonai Mitchell

NegativeUsage18:55

Ian Hartitz notes that Adonai Mitchell's health status is a factor that impacts Garrett Wilson's target share in the Jets' offense when Mitchell is active.

Insight page

Amari Cooper

NegativeUsage18:57

Ian Hartitz notes that Amari Cooper's health status is a factor that impacts Garrett Wilson's target share in the Jets' offense when Cooper is active.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveProjection2:32

Ranked as WR4, Amon-Ra St. Brown is a must-start despite recent modest yardage against Green Bay. He plays in the game with the highest total of the week (53.5) and is playing indoors. Hartitz also uses him as a statistical benchmark for elite target per route run rates.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

NegativeProjection3:34

Ranked as WR5, CeeDee Lamb faces the Eagles, whose defense has allowed the second-most PPR points per game to slot receivers. Hartitz is not worried about the matchup against Quinyon Mitchell and uses Lamb as a benchmark for elite target per route run rates.

Insight page

Charlie Jones

NegativeUsage7:21

Charlie Jones was the target of a 60-yard heave from J.J. McCarthy while in tight coverage, highlighting his role as a deep-threat target in the offense.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveProjection7:27

Ranked as WR8, Chris Olave remains a strong play against the Steelers despite back-to-back games under 50 yards, as he is still the WR7 in PPR points per game on the season.

Insight page

Christian Watson

NegativeProjection10:03

Ian Hartitz ranks Christian Watson as a top-tier wide receiver option, noting his current standing as the WR5 in PPR points per game. Additionally, Hartitz highlights that Joey Porter Jr. only covered Watson on 24% of his routes last week.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveUsage18:27

Ian Hartitz notes that the return of DJ Moore is expected to create a more difficult environment for other Bills receivers, potentially limiting the target share and production consistency for teammates like Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman.

Insight page

Demario Douglas

PositiveValue36:08

Ian Hartitz ranks DeMario Douglas as WR35, arguing that this ranking feels too low given his recent production. Douglas has been the WR5 in PPR points over the last two weeks, and Hartitz highlights his ability to work downfield and his role as the best receiver in New England. With Drake Maye playing well, Douglas is a strong start in a potential shootout against the Bears.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

NegativeProjection50:24

Ian Hartitz ranks Denzel Boston as the WR29 for Week 7, characterizing him as a boom-or-bust WR3 option. While Boston is seeing significant downfield opportunity—ranking third in team air yards behind Carnell Tate and Jaxon Smith-Njigba—the Browns' offense is projected to score under 20 points, and the matchup against Jeffrey Simmons and the Titans' defense is tougher than expected. Hartitz acknowledged a previous miss on his expectations for Boston's production.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveProjection24:43

Ranked as WR13, DeVonta Smith is featured as a true WR1 by the Eagles with a 29.9% target per route run rate, which ranks sixth in the NFL. He is the WR10 on a per-game basis when healthy. Hartitz identifies Smith as a target in a bad offense where volume is highly concentrated, making him a viable fantasy option despite the team context.

Insight page

DJ Turner

NegativeMatchup14:30

Ian Hartitz warns that DJ Turner is a shadow cornerback who moves around the field to cover opposing WR1s, creating difficult matchups for receivers like Zay Flowers, DK Metcalf, and Emeka Egbuka.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveUsage25:05

Ranked as WR24, DK Metcalf has seen significant volume with 40 targets over the last two weeks alongside Jalen McMillan. He is one of four receivers with over 400 unrealized air yards and remains the primary deep-threat option in the offense, though he is also seeing more short-area usage than credited.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveProjection8:50

Ranked as WR9, Drake London is due for a touchdown after 47 targets without one. Ian Hartitz highlights his 3.24 yards per route run, the fourth-highest mark among wide receivers, as evidence of his elite play.

Insight page

Emeka Egbuka

NegativeUsage48:39

Ian Hartitz ranks Emeka Egbuka as a WR3, noting his high target volume (25 targets over the last two weeks, third-most in the NFL) but criticizing his lack of efficiency (3.3 yards per target). Hartitz expresses uncertainty regarding the quarterback situation with Baker Mayfield returning from a thumb injury.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveProjection18:48

Ian Hartitz ranks Garrett Wilson as WR14, viewing him as a top-15 option with double-digit target upside. While Hartitz believes in Wilson's talent, he notes that Wilson's target dominance has been less consistent when Adonai Mitchell and Amari Cooper are healthy. Recent struggles are attributed to a difficult matchup against Christian Gonzalez rather than a decline in role, and Hartitz notes the Dolphins' defense struggles in EPA allowed per dropback.

Insight page

George Pickens

NegativeMatchup3:47

Ian Hartitz ranks George Pickens as WR20 for the week against the Eagles, noting the Eagles allow the fifth-most PPR points per game to wide receivers. While Pickens' season has been volatile, Hartitz maintains him as a top-20 option when healthy and paired with a healthy quarterback. Expect significant coverage from Quinyon Mitchell, who primarily plays outside right corner, as Pickens lines up outside more than CeeDee Lamb.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeProjection7:13

Ian Hartitz expresses significant concern regarding J.J. McCarthy's performance, noting that the sample size of his play has been 'really, really, really bad.' While McCarthy showed improvement in the final 15 minutes of Week 6, his inconsistency poses a risk to the fantasy outlook of his pass-catchers.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveProjection2:00

Ranked as WR3, Jamar Chase is expected to have a breakout 100-plus yard or multi-touchdown game against the Ravens. He has historically performed well against Baltimore, posting three of his top eight career fantasy games against them.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveValue13:30

Ranked as WR16, Jalen Coker is a key part of the Panthers' passing game. Ian Hartitz emphasizes that his production is not fluky, citing his 2.53 yards per route run, which ranks as the ninth-highest mark among all wide receivers this season.

Insight page

Jalen McMillan

PositiveValue25:05

Ranked as WR25, Jalen McMillan is a recommended waiver wire pickup. Hartitz notes he and DK Metcalf are neck-and-neck in usage, with both seeing significant underneath targets. However, Hartitz also cautioned that he expects McMillan's recent three-week hot streak to likely regress soon.

Insight page

Jalen Nailor

NegativeBreakout37:50

Ian Hartitz ranks Jaylen Nailor as WR36, viewing him as a high-upside talent bet. Despite inconsistent route volume, Nailor leads all wide receivers in yards per target and boasts a 2.53 yards per route run, the 10th-highest mark in the NFL. Hartitz suggests that despite the role uncertainty, Nailor's efficiency makes him a compelling risk in the WR3/WR4 range.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveProjection22:36

Ian Hartitz ranks Jameson Williams as WR23. Williams leads all wide receivers in average depth of route (12.7) and is viewed as a boom-or-bust player who is highly startable in a high-scoring Lions offense with a quarterback willing to target him downfield.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveProjection0:14

Ian Hartitz views this week as a 'last chance' for Jaylen Waddle, projecting a breakout performance against a Cardinals defense that ranks in the bottom three in EPA allowed per dropback. Hartitz remains optimistic about Waddle's talent, noting he is a high-level player who has not received enough target volume to date.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

PositiveProjection5:06

Ranked as WR6, Justin Jefferson is a must-start against the Colts, who run the fifth-most man coverage in the league. Ian Hartitz expects a big day as Jefferson historically benefits from man-heavy defensive schemes, noting that most quarterbacks have been able to successfully get him the ball.

Insight page

Kendrick Bourne

PositiveUsage18:44

Ian Hartitz notes that Kendrick Bourne is actively impacting the target distribution in the Cardinals' offense, making things difficult for Michael Wilson and complicating the fantasy outlook for the group.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeInjury14:13

Ian Hartitz notes that Lamar Jackson's ongoing ankle injury is a significant factor negatively impacting the fantasy outlook of Ravens wide receivers like Zay Flowers.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveBreakout22:09

Ian Hartitz ranks Luther Burden as WR22, highlighting his efficiency as a 'man-beater' with superior yards per route run (2.05) and target share (25%) compared to Rome Odunze. Hartitz expects a massive boom game soon, especially if Christian Gonzalez shadows Odunze instead of Burden.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveProjection0:06

Ian Hartitz expects Malik Nabers to finish the year as a WR1, likely near WR12, despite ongoing concerns regarding quarterback play. Nabers has looked healthy following a shoulder issue and benefits from a favorable schedule from weeks 7 through 12. He is a high-volume target in a concentrated offense, making him a player Hartitz is willing to roster despite the team's offensive struggles.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveBreakout10:06

Ian Hartitz views Matthew Golden's production as impressive despite him leading the league in drops, unrealized air yards, and defensive pass interference penalties. Hartitz expects better days ahead against a weak Lions secondary, though he notes that Golden's two dropped touchdowns previously hurt the Cowboys' box score.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeUsage18:41

Ian Hartitz ranks Michael Wilson as WR21 against the Broncos, noting that Kendrick Bourne has outperformed him in target share over the last two weeks. Hartitz expresses concern regarding a potential shadow matchup with Pat Surtain II and the overall struggles of the Cardinals' offense, though he remains the only player from that tier he is interested in rostering.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveProjection6:00

Ranked as WR7, Nico Collins faces a man-heavy Giants defense. Ian Hartitz notes the Texans have high team implied totals and that Collins has significant scoring upside in the current C.J. Stroud-led offense.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveBreakout53:50

Ian Hartitz ranks Omar Cooper as the WR30 and considers him a strong waiver wire target. Cooper leads the NFL in yards per route run (minimum 25 routes) and is the clear-cut number two pass-game option in a productive Geno Smith-led offense. He faces a favorable Week 7 matchup against a Dolphins defense that ranks second-worst in EPA allowed per dropback.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeMatchup14:36

Ian Hartitz cites Parker Washington as an example of a receiver who was shadowed by DJ Turner.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveProjection0:25

Ranked as WR1, Puka Nacua has a limitless target ceiling following the departure of Davante Adams. He is coming off an 80-yard game and faces a Raiders defense that has allowed the most points in the league over the last three weeks.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

NegativeRole35:21

Ian Hartitz ranks Rome Odunze as WR36, noting his consistent yardage floor but limited ceiling. Odunze maintains an 11.5-yard average route depth, a top-four mark in the NFL, which Hartitz compares to Marvin Harrison Jr.'s role. However, the matchup against Christian Gonzalez and the Patriots defense presents a challenge.

Insight page

Tank Dell

NegativeUsage7:10

Ian Hartitz does not expect Tank Dell to play many snaps in his return, noting he will not be ranked in the top 60 wide receivers for the week.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

PositiveProjection30:44

Ian Hartitz advises keeping Tee Higgins in the top 20 wide receiver rankings, contingent on his health and the health of his quarterback.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

NegativeProjection52:31

Ian Hartitz ranks Trey Tucker as the WR30, viewing him as a boom-or-bust WR3 who he would consider moving even lower. Despite averaging 13.1 PPR points per game, Hartitz notes that Tucker faces a very tough matchup against the Rams, who have only allowed one wide receiver (Khalil Shakir) to gain more than 50 yards against them all season. Hartitz also expressed concern regarding potential regression for Tucker.

Insight page

Treylon Burks

NegativeUsage24:44

Ian Hartitz identifies Treylon Burks as the engine of the Titans' passing game, commanding 48% of the team's air yards. Despite this high volume, Hartitz expresses concern regarding Burks' struggles against man coverage (5-of-9 targets for 60 yards) and the team's low scoring projection.

Insight page

Xavier Legette

PositiveValue13:55

Ranked as WR15, Xavier Legette is a strong fantasy option within a high-volume, fast-paced Panthers passing attack. He is highlighted alongside Jalen Coker as a key beneficiary of the team's offensive scheme.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

NegativeProjection57:02

Ian Hartitz ranks Xavier Worthy as the WR33 for his Sunday Night Football matchup against the Seahawks. Hartitz defends Worthy against recent social media criticism regarding his route running, suggesting that the negative sentiment is piling on and that Worthy's recent performance was actually one of his better games of the season. Hartitz notes that while Worthy showed speed and made two diving catches previously, repeating that performance is unlikely with Rashee Rice still sidelined.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeProjection14:30

Ian Hartitz ranks Zay Flowers as WR17, noting he would be a top-10 play if Lamar Jackson were healthy. His production is currently hampered by the quarterback downgrade to Tyler Huntley. Flowers should avoid a shadow matchup with DJ Turner, as Turner rarely plays in the slot where Flowers runs most of his routes.

0:00is a great day to break down my week seven fantasy football wide receiver rankings. could be going wide receiver one to wide receiver 60 hitting on big
0:06picture topics such as can we still trust Malik neighbors with nine under center where AJ Browns drops in week six something that we should be worried
0:14about or something we should chill the hell out about is Jaylen Nol the best freaking player that is not getting the
0:20ball enough all that and much much more so appreciate you guys tuning in and with that let's get after it with wide
0:25receiver one Puka Nua only 80 scoreless yards last week could have should have would have had a 65 yard touchdown with
0:31a better ball from Matthew Stafford But no Devonte Adams in the picture. The freaking target ceiling here is now limitless. So Raiders defense looked
0:39pretty good to start the year. Now they've allowed the most points in the league over the last three weeks. Yikes.
0:44Wide receiver 2. I got Jackson Smith and Jigba going up against the league best Kansas City Chiefs in terms of fantasy
0:49points per game allowed the position on Sunday Night Football. So tough matchup, but come on guys, this is the Emerald City route artist we're talking about
0:56here. All right. And it was just shocking to me watching the game last Thursday night where I really do feel like down, you know, Pat Ran and
1:03everyone. The Broncos had their backs against the wall going up against JSN and I thought they did a good job against the dude and then you look at
1:10the box score at the end of the game.
1:11They had 12 catches for 134 yards. So King State Kings and JSN, don't look now, guys. Currently the NFL's triple crown leader in receptions, receiving
1:20yards, and receiving touchdowns. Wide receiver three. I got Jamar Chase going up against the Ravens. I think we'll finally get our 100 plus yard maybe
1:27multi-touchdown performance out of Chase this week because hasn't quite been there yet this season guys. Wide receiver 15 in PPR points per game. He's
1:34averaging a career low 58 receiving yards per game. We had the injury knock him out early. That fact is not lost
1:40upon me. But again, just not the usual fireworks for someone that we likely had to use a top five pick to get back in
1:45August. So expecting better days ahead against a Ravens defense that Chase personally has posted three of his top eight career fantasy performances
1:52against wide receiver four. I have a one-two sun got Aman Ros St. Brown.
1:56Green Bay has done a pretty good job against them in recent years. Last three full game performances 56 43 and 45
2:03yards which is one total touchdown across those games. But you know 53.5 point game total highest of the week.
2:09We're indoors. It's a Monra St. Brown.
2:12I'm not sweating it. Wide receiver four.
2:14Why is he receiver five for me? It's CD Lamb going up against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. They just will not stop putting the Cowboys
2:21in prime time games. But alas, we will all just have to deal with it. Here's the big thing for me with CD and this
2:27also applies to George Pickins, guys, because you know, we're starting them when we have them in our fantasy teams.
2:31That fact is not lost on me. With the Eagles, though, Quinon Mitchell, very, very good quarterback. I would imagine most people's idea of a top 10
2:37quarterback in the league. He has not specifically shadowed anyone this season. All right. He spends virtually all of his time as the defense is
2:44outside right corner. So just because City gets to line up in the slot more than George Pickkins, I would expect more Mitchell on Pickkins. But honestly,
2:51if the Cowboys want to go ahead and just put Ryan Foy out there as their left wide receiver, they can go ahead and
2:56just take care of the matchup that way.
2:58So not worried about that. And that honestly is probably a big reason why Philly has allowed the second most PPR points per game. Two opposing slot
3:05receivers this season. Wide receiver six, I'm going with Justin Jefferson against the Colts. They're not expected to have Ahmed Gardner out there. He is
3:12dealing with a calf injury. Not that it was probably going to matter because like Mitchell, Gardner really does just spend most of his time on one spot on
3:19the right outside corner spot on defense. He has not been specifically shadowing opposing wide receivers either this year. It's also just Justin
3:25Jefferson anyway. So solid connection with Kyler Murray even playing through a little bit of pain. Hopefully get a fully healthy Jet. Hopefully we get a
3:32even more improving Kyler Murray here coming out of the buy. Expecting big things here against a Colts defenseman that runs the fifth most man coverage in
3:39the league. So, historically, we have seen wide receivers get boosts more times than not in matchups against man-heavy defenses. Not too many
3:46continue to do it these days. I think there's five or six defenses across the league that run man on more than a
3:50quarter of their, you know, defensive snaps out there. But hey, Colts are one of them. And accordingly, big days ahead for Justin Jefferson and maybe, just
3:57maybe, Jordan Addison as well. Wide receiver seven, I got Nico Collins going up against another manheavy defense in the New York Football Giants. So with
4:05Nico, you know, it's a situation where we can actually kind of expect some scoring upside now. CJ Stroud has his offense cooking, baby. And I know last
4:13week it actually ended up being Jaylen Null and not Nico Collins. He was fine in the end zone, but still a solid
4:18enough game for Nico. And yeah, just looking at the Vegas team implied totals this week, only the 49ers and the Lions
4:24are implied for more points than the Texans. So obviously getting a good matchup here against New York Giants, that plays a big part in it. But you
4:30just look at this wide receiver room, returning Tank Dow out there. I'm probably not expecting him to play too many snaps. He's not going to be making
4:35the top 60 here. But you add in, you know, a motivated Marvin Harrison Jr. CJ Stra man looking pretty damn good. And
4:42obviously Nico Collins, the wide receiver one also deserves a lot of credit for that. Wide receiver eight. I got Chris Lave going against the
4:48Steelers and Paris. Hopefully they can chill out at least for a couple hours there in the morning. But yeah, it's been backto-back quiet games, you know,
4:55relatively for Chris Ave under 50 yards.
4:57But we're still talking about the wide receiver seven and PPR points per game on the season. Sounds like Jordan Tyson is nearing a return. However, that will
5:04not be this week. So, even once Tyson is back, I'm not expecting a lot of it to be falling out of the top 12 or anything
5:09like that. Just could lower the ceiling.
5:11I would just like to see Tyler Shuck get back to looking at the guy we saw more so in the first three weeks of the year.
5:16He has not cleared even six yards per attempt in these past three games. So, still scored plenty of touchdowns to be
5:21just fine last week against the Giants, but obviously a tougher matchup this week against TJ Watt in company. So, feeling good about Chris Ave, but man,
5:28everyone else in the Saints offense suddenly not exactly must start options for me. Wide receiver nine, I got Drake London going up against the 49ers. NFL
5:37high 47 targets now without a receiving touchdown for Drake London. The man is due and I think he gets it done here.
5:44Still playing great football. Okay, guys. 3.24 yards per out run. That's the fourth highest mark among all wide receivers. Hey, going up against the
5:51Niners offense that maybe can get up on the Falcons and compel them to be more of a pass heavy unit will be good for
5:56Drake London, Michael Penn, and even Jan Dawson, who's been doing some good things in recent weeks as well. Wide receiver 10 and 11, I got the Packers,
6:04Christian Watson, and Matthew Golden, the wide receiver five and wide receiver 14 in PPR points were gained this season. And in Golden's case, man, he
6:11has still left so much meat on the bone.
6:13He leads the NFL in unrealized area yards, which is a nerdy metric that helps us measure the overall just length that incomplete targets have have gone.
6:20Also leads the league in drops. Also leads the league in defensive pass interference penalties. So again, I'm not trying to take anything away from
6:26Matthew Golden. If anything, it's a compliment to him that he's been so productive despite having all these issues out there. So we'll expect better
6:34days to be ahead. And why not against a Lion secondary that oh um has been absolutely horrific this year. only if
6:39Bills in fact have a lot more PPR points per game. Two opposing wide receivers and the Lions giddy up points points
6:45points. Wide receiver 12. I got Malik Neighbors going up against the Houston Texans guys. So Malik is killing it and it is fantastic to see. Okay, three
6:53straight games well north of 100 yards.
6:55Really, he is getting forcefed the football. All right. Also looking freaking agile out there, right? He's actually tied with Luther Burden now for
7:02the position high with 10 tackles avoided this year. That's all the good.
7:05We believe in Malik Neighbors. There's no doubt about that. The potential bad is the JJ McCarthy experience. All right. And he looked great in the fourth
7:13quarter by and large. Did throw an interception that I think was more so miscommunication with Malachi Fields than anything, but did throw a pick.
7:21Almost got picked another time. You know, 60-yard heave to a very tightly covered Charlie Jones. Worked out.
7:28I think there was a level of there's nothing to lose. Let's just go out there and see what happens to that
7:33performance. And he's going to get a chance to go ahead and start in week seven, I would imagine, beyond. Why not
7:38try to find out what you have in McCarthy there? I would love to see, even as someone who usually is rocking
7:43an Ohio State hat in these videos, I would love to see JJ McCarthy be an awesome NFL quarterback. The league is
7:48more fun with more good quarterbacks in it. I'm just saying guys, in the sample we've seen with McCarthy under center, it's been really, really, really bad. We
7:56saw what happened with Justin Jefferson last year, and the fact that pretty much every other quarterback with a pulse has managed to get Jeders going. It is
8:04concerning for Malik Neighbors. It's also concerning the fact that yeah, he's getting more than enough volume here.
8:10And I I'm just wondering like is it also concerned that likely is far more of a one beat than any of us could have
8:17anticipated. Maybe not. There's probably still there's been enough volume for both these guys to ball out recently.
8:22I'm not going to hold that against him.
8:23Just something that was going across my mind there. But the big concern is JJ McCarthy looking like the guy we saw for
8:30the better part of last season and not for the last 15 minutes of week six. So, I'm cautiously optimistic. Neighbors has
8:36looked healthy after that shoulder scare. McCarthy did look better. I mean, I'm feeling better about Neighbors and likely moving forward the rest of the
8:43season after what happened in the last 15 minutes of week six and everything.
8:48It's just still a point where it's like, do I think Neighbors can finish the year as a wide receiver one? I do. I do
8:53actually believe that. Now, is that's going to be closer to wide receiver 12 than the wide receiver one? I also do
8:58believe that. So, if you got neighbors, get in those lineups. It's not the easiest matchup in the world against the Texans. But then again, the 2026 Texans
9:06haven't been your usual Texans team.
9:08They've already allowed 31 plus points in three separate games. They did that zero such times last year. And man, just looking at them, only the Bills and
9:14Lions have actually allowed more fantasy points to wide receivers on a per game basis. So, I do think part of that has
9:20been the matchups, but I don't know, guys, we're entering week seven at some point. You know, as Bill Parcels would say, you are what your fantasy points
9:27against say you are. I believe that was his uh direct quote. But yeah, last thing I'll add, the Texans have not been
9:32using Derrick Stingley to shadow anyone this year, just like Quin Mitchell and Sash Gardner, Amed Gardner, who we were talking about. He basically just chills
9:39as the left outside corner and that's that. So again, maybe they changed things up. This is one of the sort of
9:45offenses where you would expect them to say like, "All right, you know, let's let Darno Mooney or Malachi Fields try to beat us and put our best on their
9:51best." But so far this year hasn't been the case. even though they have faced teams where like the you know um like
9:57the Jaguars like the Dallas Cowboys or maybe you would have thought they had the sort of personnel to bring that out
10:02of them. Anyway guys question for this tier I want to go through who has the best and worst upcoming schedule. So
10:08blue is going to signify a good on paper matchup in terms of fantasy points per game allowed in the position and red is
10:14bad. So with that in mind best matchups moving forward from week 7 through 12 highlighted by Malik Neighbors and the Giants. So, good news for him and
10:21obviously McCarthy hopefully keeping on keeping on. Also have the Titans, Vikings, Cowboys, Ravens, and the Bengals standing out as wide receiver
10:29ribbons with the best on paper matchups here for the next month and a half. So, obviously, we're starting the Cowboys guys regardless and Justin Jefferson,
10:36but man, could be good news for the more auxiliary options involved. All right, Carnell Tape for the Titans, Jordan Addison for the Vikings, hell maybe even
10:44Rashad Baitman or more likely Jacobe Lane for the Baltimore Ravens. On the other side of things, really tough matchups coming up over weeks 7 through
10:5112 applies to the Bills, the Falcons, the Raiders, the Cardinals, the Jets, and also the Broncos. So again, matchups, guys, for me far more of a
11:00tiebreaker than a reason to be making sweeping changes to your ranks and what you think about a matchup and things like that. But, you know, for the Bills,
11:07a returning DJ Moore could make it tough for Cleo Shakur and Keon Coleman to keep on keeping on. For the Falcons, I would
11:13expect, you know, Jan Dawson's three-week Cinderella story to probably, you know, strike midnight here sooner rather than later. Similar sentiment to
11:19Trey Tucker and the Raiders. Cardinals obviously have Michael Wilson getting force-fed targets, or at least we thought he was going to, but Kendrick
11:25Bores are making things tough. More on that shortly. And then with the Jets, I believe in Garrett Wilson's talent, but it is at least somewhat noteworthy that
11:32he has been far less dominant in racking up those targets when one or both of AD Mitchell and Omar Cooper have been
11:38healthy.
11:40Moving on, guys. Tier two, wide receiver twos to feel good about. All right, let off by wide receiver 13, Devonte Smith,
11:45going up against the Cowboys here on Monday Night Football. And hey, Eagles were not kidding about actually featuring Smith as a true wide receiver
11:51one this season. 29.9% mark in targets per out run, guys. That is sandwiched between CD Lamra St. Brown for the sixth
11:59best mark in the NFL. And yeah, he's been dealing with some injuries, but when he has been out there, we have seen
12:04Smitty actually return. Wide receiver one worthy production. He is the wide receiver 10 on a per game basis here in fantasy land. So Cowboys defense looked
12:11a little better against the Packers, but then again if we didn't see Matthew Golden drop two touchdowns would have been a different story in the box score
12:19and obviously on the scoreboard as well.
12:20So a situation where again I will get to some corners soon enough that do in fact travel across the field and shadow wide
12:26receiver ones. Joey Porter Jr. so far has not been one of them though in Dallas. He was only on Christian Walter
12:32for 24% of his routes and Matthew Golden for 15% of his last week. So, Devonte Smith versus Don Bland in company. Get
12:39your popcorn ready for that one. Wide receiver 14. I'm going with Garrett Wilson against the Dolphins. I've been mentioning a lot of fantasy points per
12:45game, but you know, my spidey senses get get tingling when I see the Dolphins as the league's second best defense in PPR
12:52points per game. And this is actually one of the bigger just I I would say stat over stat just kind of wild not
12:57corrections, but wild happenings that we have going out there. Again, Dolphins rank as the second best defense in fantasy points per game allowed to wide
13:04receivers, but they're the second worst defense in EPA allowed per drop back, only better than the Dallas Cowboys. So, look, Garrett Wilson, as much as last
13:13week was more so the Omar Cooper show, I really do think that was more so just Garrett Wilson unfortunately having to
13:17deal with Christian Gonzalez on the outside, far more rous than not. So, double digit target upside for a great wide receiver in a have in a matchup
13:26that we could see him booming in. Fire up Garrett Wilson as a top 15 option.
13:30wide receiver 15 and 16. I got the Carolina Panthers duo, Ted McMillan and Jaylen Coker. The wide receiver nine and wide receiver 13 and PPR points per game
13:38this season. And it would actually be Coker in front of T-Mac if we took away the one game that T-Mac just went
13:44bonkers with Coker sideline in. But I'm not going to do that. I'm going to give both guys their respect because man,
13:49this Panthers offense, they love throwing the football. They love moving at a fast pace. And with Bryce Young just playing the best football of his
13:55career in a condensed passing game pretty much just fully revolving around these two guys. It has been awesome scenes for this Panthers offense really
14:02all season long. So I will say Coker's performance too guys doesn't feel fluky.
14:072.53 yards per out run. That's the ninth highest mark of the any wide receiver this season. So great stuff from this
14:13group. Credit to the Buccaneers. They do rank seventh in EPA allow per drop back despite facing the Bengals, the Packers, and the Cowboys already this season. But
14:20again, I think we have the volume, the pace, and so far the efficiency for the these guys to keep on keeping on. And
14:26once again, been such a fun Carolina Panthers offense.
14:30Wide receiver 17. I got Zay Flowers going up against the Bengals. Guys, this is assuming that Lamar Jackson is going to continue to be sideline with that
14:36ankle injury. Zay would be in my top 10 otherwise. But man, you look at the guy number one among all wide receivers in
14:42yards per out run. It's just been tougher to get the boom plays really with former Pro Bowl QB Tyler Snoop Huntley under center for these past two
14:48weeks. So the other issue could be a shadow date with DJ Turner on the outside unlike the other quarterbacks we have talked about. Turner for the
14:55Bengals actually does move around the field and shadow opposing number one receivers. He matched up with DK Mechaf and Mecha Ibuka and even Parker
15:02Washington on north of 60% of their routes during his matchups with them.
15:06That said, here's where I think we're going to still be okay. Turner has only spent six total snaps in the slot all
15:12season long. All right, and that is actually where Flowers continues to run the majority of his routes. So Declan Doyle has been one of the few, I would
15:19say, if not the only one, the first time play caller actually doing really good things this year and I do think he'll
15:24manage to be able to get Flowers free of that tough matchup. So save Flowers, he's playing great football. They're four seeding the ball. Just please get
15:31healthy soon. Lamar Jackson, wide receiver 18. I'm going with T. Higgins.
15:35It's just a situation where yeah, when he's healthy and Joe Burr are healthy, I'm going to find room in my top 20 for
15:40him. I did find this odd though. He's actually only faced the Ravens twice in the last four regular seasons. And in
15:46both those games, he had north of 80 yards and two touchdowns. So hopefully booms ahead for T. Higgins. And now the
15:53main event, wide receiver 19, AJ Brown, Arthur Juan going up against the Bears under those bright Thursday night football lights. It was rough on Sunday.
16:03They officially charged him with two drops. I think they probably could have gone for five. And by they, I mean the
16:09overlords at PFF who tend to supply the drops that me and everyone else reference in the industry. Going back to week one of last season, allegedly AJ
16:17Brown only has three drops. I'm sure Eagles fans, if you're hanging out, I appreciate you, but you probably spit out your drinks because yeah, I do
16:23agree. It seems like way more than that.
16:26Let's say it is way more than that, though. All right. Let's say AJ Brown, you've watched the film yourself and you
16:30say he's dropped 10 balls over the past two seasons. All right. Well, Jameson Williams has 13. Devonte Adams has 11.
16:38CD Lamb, Parker Washington, Chris Lave, they all have nine. Matthew Golden again crushing it this year. He's got two more drops than any other NFL player. Drops
16:48routinely year after year are correlated with wide receivers who are good enough to get open enough to earn high-end volume in the first place, guys. So, it
16:57was a rough, very rough week six. And I admit AJ Brown has not looked like the same world beater these past two
17:03seasons. He was still good enough to supply low-end wide receiver one production last week. And honestly, wide receiver 19 feels low. It's just the
17:12Panthers are playing so good. We got T.
17:14Higgins, Flowers, Garrett Smith. I still feel really, really good about starting AJ Brown wherever I have him this week.
17:20There's just a lot of good wide receivers right now set up in nicely matchups. So, I will say this spot particularly though could be of the
17:27blowup variety. This Bears defense is one of those groups that runs a bunch of man coverage. And going back the beginning of last season, AJB is 10th
17:34and seventh in yards in targets per outr run against man cover specifically. So it wasn't great, but let's relax and remember we're looking at someone who
17:44more more years than not of his career has been one of the very best real life wide receivers and accordingly also in
17:49fantasy. I do think we'll see both those things rectify themselves in a major way on Thursday night. Please AJ, we all
17:56believe in you, right guys? Right. Wide receiver 20. I got George Pickkins going up against the Eagles on Monday Night Football. I just whenever I see Pickkins
18:04versus the Eagles, I think of that crazy fever dream of a picture where he made the crazy contested catch down the
18:09sideline and then standing up with Cooper Deene and I think Reed Blankenship like literally just kind of falling over each other. So, more fun
18:16times in the 2025 season. Obviously hasn't been exactly what Pickkins fantasy managers were hoping for this season other than that blow up on
18:23Thursday Night Football. But hey, I mentioned Philly being bad against slot receivers. At this point, they've been pretty bad just as a whole. fifth most
18:30PPR points per game allowed to opposing wide receivers this season. So would like to see Dak Prescott and company find some more firepower. I mean, we
18:36knew this team was probably going to be volatile and still have a great defense, but the offensive struggles really have been surprising to me. Again, nine
18:44catches, 146 yards, and a touchdown, nine targets against this group last year. I still think George Pickins and T. Higgins, when they're healthy, when
18:52their quarterbacks are healthy, let's keep them in the top 20. Wide receiver 21. I got Michael Wilson going up against the Broncos, guys. I think
18:59better days will be ahead for Wilson, but don't look now. Kendrick Bourne is kind of Michael Wilsoning Michael Wilson a little bit better. All right, he's got
19:06more targets over the last two weeks.
19:08They are doing this bit again. That said, Kendrick Bourne is being used with the average route defaf guys that's down there with Cleos Shakur and Debo Samuel
19:16for the lowest in the league. So, it's not like Borne is actively taking away anything that Michael Wilson was doing early earlier. It's actually Jaylen
19:22Brooks who's running the Marvin Harrison Jr. sacrificial X stuff. The problem is if ace Broncos quarterback Pat Seran is able to return from that ankle injury.
19:31He's had that extra few days to get ready after the Thursday night game last week. He didn't practice at all last
19:36week, but I do wonder given the fact they didn't put him on IR if we could be looking at a return. And if they do,
19:42this is a rare situation, guys. Pat Certan and Christian Gonzalez top of my head. DJ Turner just to a slightly lesser extent, but those are the
19:50quarterbacks that concern me. All right.
19:52If we get Pat Sertan who shadowed Devonte Adams on 90% of his routes per fantasy points. All right, that is so
19:59rare to see. Usually it's like 50 60.
20:01That's why I don't overly care about most shadow matchups. I do when it's Pat Sertan though. If we get Pat Certan back
20:07against Michael Wilson who's been struggling a little bit in an offense that isn't good in real life. They just kind of play catchup late in the fourth
20:14quarter and helps us in fantasy land. I would move Wilson to probably wide receiver 27 status. him verse Carnell Tate would be tough. I would prefer the
20:24Steelers wide receivers and I would prefer our next two wide receivers as well. Wide receiver 22. Speaking of, I got Luther Buring going against the New
20:31England Patriots on Thursday Night Football.
20:34Was the season low 44% route rate last week weird? Yeah, but he had a season high 79% the week before and guess what
20:41game? He actually had more targets and yards in. All right. I think it's just a Bears offense that likes using some
20:47wonky personnel and guess what? They score so many points. just strap in and get along for the ride, man. Luther Burton, DeAndre Swift, Caleb Williams,
20:55even a lesser extent, Coulson Loveland, and Roma Dunes. We're going to see more sustained hopefully knock on wood points being scored here now with a healthy
21:03Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson doing their thing. So, with Luther Burton, you know, he's been I think wide receiver 25 and PPR points per game this year. Even
21:10without a true blowup just yet, maybe this is the week he actually goes ahead and gets one. So, mentioned before, but
21:15he is Tai Malik Neighbors for the most tackles avoided this year. He had a comeback last week against the Falcons just again quickly catching the ball and
21:22just the speed that this dude can get up field had maybe a foot of space between him and the sideline still was able to
21:27make the dude miss. So truly is the epitome of what making you miss in a phone booth and looking at this matchup
21:33I don't think he's going to be seeing a lot of Christian Gonzalez because when you look at Christian Gonzalez he is one
21:37of these cornerbacks who does not spend much of any time in the slot. Now he does shadow opposing wide receivers. We
21:42saw what he did to Garrett Wilson last week. 94% shadow rate, 86% against DK Mechaf, even 65% against JSN. That said,
21:52I do wonder if he just ends up matching up more at Roma Dunes. Burton has spent more snaps in the slot than outside this
21:58season. Rome has been the one that they've actually have more so on the outside acting as that sacrificial X.
22:03So, just a guess. I'm not in the game planning rooms, but I do think that we could see Gonzo spend more time on Rome,
22:09which would be fantastic for Burden.
22:10Okay, the Patriots do run more man coverage than just about anyone out there. When you look at the differences on the season in terms of who the Bears
22:16want to get the football to, it's been more and more burden over Rome. In fact, the yards per out run 2.05 versus 1.04.
22:23And the targets per out run 25% versus 15% in favor of Burton. He has been their man beater this season with Khif
22:30Raymond falling further and further out of the offense. I do think it's a matter of when, not if, we get a massive boom
22:36game for Luther Burton. Wide receiver 23. I got Jameson Williams. I mentioned this uh average route of average depth of route metric which is pretty cool.
22:45I've actually only seen it really used this year. Shout out to the fine folks at PFF for doing that. And that's the
22:49thing with PFF guys. I understand the issues with their grades and not want to lean on that and everything. But they do
22:54just supply a lot of good onfield tracking data. That really isn't up for debate. It just helps us quantify things we're seeing with our own eyes, which is
23:01kind of the goal of using stats at the end of the day, or at least it should be. But anyway, nobody has a higher
23:07average depth of route this year than Jameson Williams all the way up there at 12.7. Even past the artist formerly known as Maserati Mars. So, you know, in
23:15a good offense though with a quarterback willing to give him multiple chances downfield during the course of any given game, it can work out just like we saw
23:22before the buy with that two touchdown performance here. So, it's a Packers defense that has done a good job keeping everything in front of them this year.
23:29But, man, Lions, they have a week high implied point total of 28.25. We're expecting the Packers to move the ball as well. Points, points, points indoors.
23:38Yes, JO's always going to have a bit of a boomer bust, you know, vibe to him.
23:41But in this matchup, I'd be much more confident expecting that boom to be on the horizon.
23:46Key question for this tier, guys, I wanted to kind of quantify two of the things I've been talking about a lot.
23:50All right, fantasy points per game against on the defensive side of the ball and then the offense, how much how many points are they actually being
23:56implied to score? So, I actually got those two things on a graph that I myself was able to create in Microsoft
24:02Excel. What a freaking crazy concept.
24:05But yes, implied points on the x- axis and matchup in terms of fantasy points per game on the Y. And as you can see in
24:10the top right hand corner, guys, Packers, Niners, Lions, Cowboys really standing out as groups having the best mix of being in a really good offense
24:18and having a smashable matchup. Also would say Rams, Bears, Texans, and Ravens. Not not falling too far away from either of those. Now, we have bad
24:26offenses and a good matchup, at least on paper. Those actually feature the Giants, the Titans, the Browns, and the Eagles. And in these situations, I would
24:33just say, guys, I'm way more willing to take on a player in a bad offenses. The volume is very concentrated to them. And
24:39luckily, in pretty much three or for these four cases, we have just that.
24:43Neighbors with the Giants, Carnell Tate with the Titans, who we're talking about with shortly, Devonte Smith with the Eagles, just unfortunately a little bit
24:49too crowded in Cleveland. And then we have bad offenses with a bad matchup.
24:53Those feature the Dolphins, the Colts, the Cardinals, and the Chiefs. Big reason why I haven't talked about anyone other than Michael Wilson from those
25:00groups to this point.
25:02Tier four. Now we got wide receiver threes with some upside going on.
25:05Starting off with the Steelers wide receivers, man. DK Mechaf and Jeremy Bernard. My wide receiver 24 and 25. I actually flipped them after writing
25:13them. I was ready to give the rookie his time in the sun and actively rank him ahead of me getting provocative out here
25:18on you guys. But I couldn't quite do it.
25:21It's been very very good for Bernard. I just the more I dug into it, we've seen both guys get more short area usage I
25:29think than is given credit for. Meetaf has been getting a lot of bombs. All right, he actually is third, I believe,
25:34or he's he's one of four wide receivers with over 400 unrealized area yards. All right, Rogers has been trying to connect
25:39downfield. They just haven't really been able to get the big plays going more weeks than not, but he's got two top 16
25:44finishes in these last three weeks. And just again digging more into it, that average depric both Jeremy Bernard and DK Mechaf are in the bottom six. If you
25:54watch the end of that game last week, I mean, Mechaf, they just couldn't hit downfield, so they started throwing the dude one screen after another near the
26:00line of scrimmage. And say what you want about DK Mechaf, you know, he is a pretty freaking big dude out there. He
26:05can be tough to get that get get down the ground with the football in his hands. So, end of the day, they've
26:09combined for 40 targets over these past two weeks. I want to start both these guys wherever I have him. Okay? And if
26:15you picked up Jiren Bernard on the Waverwire, congrats. You are a scholar.
26:18Keep that dude in your lineup. I just think that we have a situation where both guys could be seeing five to six
26:25underneath targets and Mechaf is the one more likely to get the opportunities downfield. But hey, they're neck andneck. Next week it could be
26:31different. I do love this matchup overall guys because it's been a tough run out for me particularly with some of the quarterbacks they've had to face
26:37this year against the Saints in Paris.
26:4031st ranked defense in terms of just scoring this year. Really do think we're going to see probably big days for both.
26:46Wide receiver 26. I got Colonel Tate going up against the Browns, guys. And Colonel Tate really has emerged as the engine of this Titans passing game. And
26:53for good reason, man. You spent the number four overall pick on him. But seriously, he has gotten 48% of this offense's air yards. That is within a
27:02half a percent, guys, of what Jackson Smith and Ja has done in Seattle. So, when I say that he is the engine of the
27:07offense, I really do mean it. Now, the Browns, they are a very man-heavy defense, which is usually good for wide receivers, but we haven't seen Tate
27:16exactly kill man coverage this season.
27:18In fact, he's caught just five of nine targets, 460 scoreless yards against straight man coverage this year. That said, I don't think he will be seeing
27:25too much direct coverage from Denzel Ward. He is another one of these quarterbacks who, despite, you know, differences in past years, this season
27:32at least, has not been constantly traveling traveling across the field with opposing number one wide receivers.
27:37So Tate's playing well. He's getting a lot of volume. It's just also the Titans. That's the only thing holding me back from not ranking him higher. They
27:44are still implied to score the fourth fewest points here in week seven. Wide receiver 27. Jaylen Wadd. This is your last chance. Jaylen Waddle. Attention.
27:53This is your last chance. I'm rolling with you as an upside wide receiver.
27:57Three. One more week. Shout out Chad Steman. One more. You're getting it because you're facing the Cardinals.
28:05bottom three defense and EPA allowed for drop back. And I do wonder if maybe we're understating how rough of a schedule it's been for this Broncos
28:14offense. Okay, Chiefs, Jaguars, Rams, Niners, Chargers, and Seahawks. That's an absolute gauntlet, guys. A lot of stud cornerbacks in there. A lot of just
28:24good fundamental pass defenses in there.
28:27And when you got Bon Knicks being Charlie Czech, I get it. That hasn't helped matters for anyone involved as well. But we do have two years of
28:34evidence of Bon Knicks getting low-end wide receiver two numbers out of Corland Sutton. Shawn Peyton is still one of the brightest objectively offensive minds of
28:44the 21st century.
28:46They brought Jaylen Wadd in for the first round pick. Mrs. Peyton's fantasy team is completely struggling right now.
28:52And we finally got a good matchup in Arizona. We saw Wadd go for 138 in week two. I know that seems longer and longer
29:01ago. There's still a really good wide receiver in there. This is the week.
29:06Jaylen Wadd, he's gonna boom. He's gonna give us a hundred yards and a touchdown or he's going to be ranked as the wide
29:13receiver for that. Let's face it, he's been this season in week eight. But come on, Jaylen. Come on, Bo. I believe in
29:19you guys kind of at least in this matchup. Wide receiver 28. I got Mecha Ibuka, guys. He's got 25 targets over
29:25the last two weeks. Third most in the NFL.
29:28And he's got 86 yards. This is what kills me, man. Like I get that we need to chase opportunity more than anything, but I just sometimes
29:38the overall discourse in fantasy football land and me being way too online. I feel like too many people just ignore the actual production. It's like
29:48I don't know, Mecca Buuka, look how good he's been earning the targets. CAN WE AVERAGE more than 3.3 yards per target?
29:54Whatever it is, not asking so much. So Jaylen Daniels hasn't been helping matters, but I'm not so sure that Baker Mayfield coming back from a dislocated
30:00right throwing hand thumb less than a month ago is going to help matters more.
30:05Would love to be wrong. All right, hopefully I goes out there, he catches eight of 10 targets and balls out, you
30:10know, finishes wide receiver one next week. Go right ahead, man. That would be fantastic. Right now, got to keep him as
30:16a wide receiver three until we are certain that Baker Mayfield is still capable of throwing an accurate football. Wide receiver 29. I got Denzel
30:24Boston, guys. I lost my jersey bet last week. I swear to you there. I went on eBay. I ordered a Josh Cribs jersey. It
30:30is not here yet, though. So, next week I will be rocking my number 16 Josh Cribs jersey. Pumped. I love those old jerseys
30:36from the early 2000s. They're so breezy with the holes in it. But yeah, I was wrong. Casey Conception did come back,
30:43but you know, let's face it, I think he was he was out of the picture. We were still pretty freaking far off from 100
30:48plus yards and a touchdown. Big reason why Jerry Judy starting to come alive a little bit over these past couple weeks.
30:54Got a game ball from Tom Mon at the end.
30:56That was a cool shot in the locker room.
30:57But the biggest issue here is Deshun Watson largely turning back into a pumpkin over the course of these last two weeks, guys. He was playing
31:04objectively good football from weeks two through four, but the EPA drop back and the sacks taken and pretty much everything has been brutal outside of
31:12some of these game-winning drives. But, you know, Deshawn Watson might be number one in the NFL in gamewinning drives. Bo Knicks is uh number two. So, not exactly
31:20the stat I'd be hanging my hat on if we're trying to discern what is and what is not really good quarterback play. So,
31:26end of the day, similar to Carnell Tate, man, Boston's getting a ton of downfield opportunity. He's actually third behind Tate and behind JSN and and having
31:34percentage of his team's air yards. It's just the offense. Browns are one of six teams implied to score under 20 points
31:39in week seven. And as bad as the Titans might be as a real life football team, Jeffrey Simmons man is really well in
31:44that defense to actually being a group that you really can't be overly sleeping on. So boomer bus wide receiver three treatment for Denzel Boston and I think
31:51that's fair. Wide receiver 30 I got Trey Tucker guys 13.1 PPR points per game for Trey Tucker. George Pickins that 13.6
32:00just saying it's like that you know HR meme of the one person getting reported and the other person being like oh yeah
32:05great good to see you. I don't think it's going to keep going this week.
32:09Kudos to Kirk Cousins and the passing game for enabling more than just Brock Bower so far and Michael Mayer as well.
32:14Like that has been surprising to me, but we've only seen Khlo Shakur among wide receivers gain more than 50 yards against the Rams this year. So very very
32:22tough matchup. Trey Tucker just again boom or more likely bust wide receiver three for me this week. Honestly, I'd even move him down. Omar Cooper wide
32:31receiver 30. Trey Tucker wide receiver 31. Let's talk Omar Cooper, guys.
32:37That was a fun game last week. 103 yards and a touchdown. Touchdown was a little bit busted coverage. Safety, you know,
32:45let him get away from a little bit. Also had the touchdown nullified though. That just looked like a smooth route. Was
32:50able to kind of get on the same page with Gino and scramble drill. Omar Cooper is number one in the NFL right
32:57now in yards per route run with a minimum of 25 routes. It is a very, very, very small sample size, but it is
33:04someone who hasn't had an opportunity yet to increase that sample size because of injury. It's someone who many considered to be worthy of being the
33:12first round pick that he eventually was and is now someone in an offense where we don't have the target competition to
33:17really worry about behind Garrett Wilson. AD Mitchell is the two to start the year. I'm not sure when we're going to see him play football again. Kenyan
33:24Sadique is currently losing out a ton of routes to Mason Taylor. Omar Cooper is the clear-cut number two pass game option and a Gino Smith passing attack
33:34that has not sucked. and he's now set up against a Dolphins defense that is the second worst group in the league and EPA
33:40allowed for drop back. I think if you got Omar Cooper on your waver wire, you should be patting yourself on your back
33:45and looking forward to someone who really does profile as a boomer wide receiver three down the stretch and hey in this matchup would not be surprised
33:52if we get that boom outcome. Wide receiver 32, I'm going with Devon Bailey guys against the Steelers. It's just been starting to get tough here and I do
33:59think once Jordan Tyson gets back is going to be rendered as pretty much a zero factor in fantasy land. So has a
34:05game more than 70 yards in the game.
34:07We're starting to get to the point where it's just again pretty low upside options are available. So I will say that again the one issue that I thought
34:14not issue the one thing I did think maybe could be going in Bailey's favor the fact that he's again used underneath
34:19maybe a little bit more maybe against a very very zoneheavy Steelers defense. He could be relied on but just really hasn't been the case this year. Alb has
34:27outtargeted Bailey 46 to 26 against zone this season. Wide receiver 33. I got Xavier Worthy going up against the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football. I
34:35know he's been getting mocked all over social media for basically catching that pass before halftime and then running out of bounds when he could have had an
34:42extra 10 or 15, you know, yards after the catch. But it was also under 10 seconds left. They were already in field
34:48goal range. I don't know. It feels a little bit like piling on the dude at a certain point because that otherwise
34:53really was one of the better games we've seen from Worthy. He had a 30-yard catch on the first play of the game where he
34:58looked actually fast out there. actually looked like one of the fastest guys we've seen at the combine. Actually the fastest guy. You guys still you know how
35:04that know how that is. But Worthy had two diving catches out there. I thought it was one of the better games he's
35:10played other than the second half of the Super Bowl to be quite honest with you.
35:13Should we expect that to repeat against the Seahawks? Probably not. That's where I'm at. Wide receiver 33. Even with Rashid Rice still sideline. Wide
35:21receiver 34. I'm going Roma Dunce against the Patriots here on Thursday Night Football. He's had at least 39 yards in every single game, but outside
35:27of the one where he had like 94, I don't think he's had more than like 52 in the other ones. So, it's really just I don't
35:33think more so I don't think it's been super on Rome. It's just the role. It's been Marvin Harrison Jr.esque just in a
35:39better offense. 11.5 yard average route depth this year. That is again a top four mark in the NFL. And the problem
35:47here is I do think we could see a good chunk of Christian Gonzalez. So, the Bears are implied to score 26.75 points
35:54and we would expect to see some booms.
35:56All right, as I mentioned with Jameson Williams, just cuz you're being used downfield isn't a bad thing if you're in an offense with the quarterback willing
36:01to chuck it and also, you know, presenting the scoring upside. Now, didn't see Caleb as willing to chuck in his first game back from injury. Would
36:08like to think against a man-heavy Patriots defense, we get a little bit more of that. Speaking of the Patriots, wide receiver 35, super Deario Douglas,
36:17guys, the wide receiver five in PPR points over the past two weeks. That's happening. Only Malik Neighbors, Pukanakua, Jackson Smith, Njigua, and
36:26Matthew Golden have more PPR points than Super Deario Douglas. And it hasn't really felt fluky, man. We can go back and watch every route and sure find some
36:35times where defense probably should have been paying a little bit more attention, but Deario's largely during his career made the most out of his opportunities.
36:42He's flashed the ability to work downfield in addition to being a jitterbug after the catch. And now the Patriots are forced to play him. Matt
36:49Holland is on IR. Romeo Dobs is on IR.
36:52Could we see with an extra couple days to figure out what they're going to do without Dobs all of a sudden featuring
36:57Kyle Williams or Chismore? Yeah, but I wouldn't hold my breath particularly for Kyle Williams unfortunately. Remember free Kyle Williams. Dear Douglas is
37:06performing like the best wide receiver in New England right now. And while yes, I of course have AJ Brown ranked ahead
37:11of him, Drake May's playing like one of the best quarterbacks in the league. And I do think it's very reasonable to
37:15expect in a potential shootout against a Bears secondary that does not deserve the benefit of the doubt more than just AJ Brown getting their fantasy points on
37:24here under the lights. So Dear Douglas for me, wide receiver 35, and honestly that feels low. Wide receiver 36, give me Jaylen Null going up against the
37:32Giants, guys. Now, this is a little bit of a bet on talent and offense because just like Demaro Douglas, the routes
37:39have been up and down this season. We have a returning Tank Dell and I would expect Marvin Harrison Jr. to have
37:43something closer to a full-time role in the second game in Houston. But goodness gracious, this dude is balling. 2.53 yards per out run. That's the 10th
37:52highest mark in the NFL. Jaylen Lol leads all wide receivers in yards per target this year. The dude is making the
37:59most out of his opportunities. Why not just give him more and see what happens out here? So again, we have some
38:06question marks about the overall role and the volume that's going to be afforded, but if we're going to be taking a risk on a guy in the wide
38:11receiver three and wide receiver four range, why not be someone really talented in an offense that's now flashing a lot of scoring upside? And
38:17hey, that's Jaylen Null. Speaking of key question, guys, I want to highlight three wide receivers who actually have been performing really freaking good
38:24this year in a small sample size. All right, and I get it. It is a small sample size for a reason. We shouldn't
38:29expect little Johnny to continue shooting 50% on three-pointers, you know, after going after doing so on four attempts when he's being asked now to do
38:36it on 12 attempts. So, all that said, sometimes small samples actually mean that a player is performing excellent and will get bigger roles. So, with that
38:43in mind, Jets wide receiver Omar Cooper again guys, first in yards per route run. We've only seen him run 29 routes,
38:50but the big thing for me too here, if you guys watch Omar Cooper, Indiana, like his superpower was everything he did after the catch. That Purdue play
38:57was freaking nuts. He had a couple real nice moments against Miami as well in that national championship game. Omar Cooper, man, he hasn't even fully tapped
39:05into what I believe his superpower as a prospect was coming out and the fact he's already putting up numbers in his
39:10first real full game. Very, very bright future here for this young man ahead.
39:14Also, as we just talked about, Jaylen Null, he gets to see at the table as well. Nico Collins is eighth in yards
39:19per run. Jaylen Null is 10th. First in yards per target. Again, they got Marv, they got Tank Dell. It's a great time to
39:26be a CJ Stout and Houston Texans fan.
39:28I'll just say that, man. This passing game is fun. Hopefully they don't make Jaylen Nol take too much of a back seat.
39:32And then Kyle Williams. Speaking of yards per target, Kyle Williams, he's third. If you move that threshold down to just, you know, 10 targets. So, this
39:41is a very, very small sample size, but I am tired of pretending like Kyle Williams can't be more. All right.
39:48Number one in yards per catch, minimum five receptions, but he's been doing it all preseason, too.
39:55I just think in this Patriots offense that Mario can get downfield and AJ Brown of course can do anything when he's catching the football. I get it.
40:04Put Douglas in the slot. Put AJ be on one side and put Kyle on the other side because we've seen the connection with
40:10Drake May. We've seen him get open deep.
40:12I just think Kyle can lift the lid off defenses in the way that no one else on this roster can. Particularly with Kan
40:18Booty out of the picture and Romeo Doss and M. Holland free Kyle Williams.
40:22Absolutely love what this dude is doing on the football field. Hey guys, before we get back into our wide receiver discussion, I want to give a shout out
40:29to our friends over at Fantasy Genius because let's face it, being in a long-term fantasy league, it isn't just about competition. It is about the
40:35history. And Fantasy Genius keeps all the history for you. All you have to do is connect your league and boom, you
40:40have access to every story and piece of analytics tailored to your leagues. And by analytics, guys, there's plenty of personalized league stuff. That's
40:45awesome. You can see who's been owning T. Higgins over the years, who passed on CMC in the wrong years and who drafted
40:51him in the right years. All right, that said, also a lot of really cool league specific stuff that I do think can
40:56actually help you guys be that much smarter about fantasy football as a whole. Again, they aren't kidding when they say they are the fantasy geniuses.
41:02But one of my favorite updates that they've been sending me each and every week is the percentage of playoff chances based on your team's record
41:08right now. And this is all based on 2025 sleeper data. So, if your team right now, guys, is 6 and0, you have a 98%
41:15chance of making the playoffs. and a 25% chance of winning that championship. 5- one, 93% chance of making the playoffs.
41:224-2, 76% chance. Yeah, starting to go down a little bit. Three and three is a situation we're looking at just a 50%
41:29chance. Two and four, 24% chance. We're saying there's a chance. Not necessarily a great one, but we are saying one and
41:36five, 7.5% playoff chance. And if you guys are 0 and6 and fantasy right now, per 2025 data, just a 1.5% chance of
41:45making the playoffs. So, I get it.
41:46That's tough. But you know what? Life's tough and sometimes we got to know the numbers that go around it. So, also want
41:52to shout out Fancy Genius because they have human written fantasy writers for your league. No more boring and generic AI generated recaps that nobody reads.
41:59If you want custom fantasy football analysis from Colorful Personalities, Fancy Genius should be your go-to. Head to fancygenius.io. Connect your league
42:06and see what your history has to say.
42:08Make sure you use code rotoire for 20% off your first year. Again, that's fancygenius.io.
42:13Code rotoire for 20% off.
42:16Back to the wide receivers. We're in Boomer Bus. Wide receiver for season now. Everyone wide receiver 37. Malik Washington going up against the Jets. 36
42:24scrollers targets this year. That's good for the third highest mark in the league. So yeah, not exactly getting scoring upside, but has caught at least
42:31five passes in three straight games.
42:33Then we have Kendrick Bourne as a wide receiver, 38 against the Broncos.
42:36Mentioned before that Kendrick Bourne is Michael Wilson. Michael Wilson. Not entirely true because Bourne is again all the way down there with Debo and Kho
42:43Shakur in terms of his average defer route. But, you know, he does have 16 targets over the past two weeks. That's
42:49only three fewer than Trey McBride. So, Jacobe Brassette is no stranger to peppering his wide receivers and tight ends underneath the coverage and trying
42:56to march his way down the field down three touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
42:59And at least for the last two weeks, Kendrick Bourne has been someone who's been again able to just rack up fantasy
43:04points from that. So, he's been the wide receiver 27 in full PPR land. Not much of a ceiling here, but hey, with
43:10by-week, sometimes you need someone like Kendrick Bourne in that lineup. We'll also say shout out to my friend Dwayne McFarland. He brought up a good point,
43:16too. We saw it last year, 143 yards, I think it was in back-to-back games for Kendrick Bourne. God forbid something happens to Michael Wilson. Borne's one
43:25of those guys where we actually do have evidence can produce more when given the opportunity. Wide receiver 39, Jordan Addison could see this being the boom
43:32side of a boomer wide receiver for outcome. Again, Coulter on a ton of man covers. They're not going to have a Mike
43:37Gardner out there. Maybe just maybe a hopefully healthy Jordan can get it done. Just tough when again Justin Aerson Justin Jefferson and maybe even
43:44TJ Hawinson are clearly projecting ahead of them in targets. Wide receiver 40. I got Casey Conception. They have been feeding him screens this year guys. He's
43:52got a league high nine at least among wide receivers through six weeks of action. Just haven't quite been getting the big plays and with Deshawn Watson
43:58not playing very well recently. Not to be too excited here. Similar sentiment.
44:02wide receiver 41. Chris Goblin, I mean, fantasy points, average separation score, very cool stuff. Only Marvin Dy Brown worse than Chris Goblin this year,
44:11but has seven plus targets in two of his last three games. Maybe Baker can come back and do something good for him. More
44:18slot mavens. Wide receiver 42. I got Juan Dale Robinson. Seven plus targets in three of his last four games. Just averaging career low receiving yards per
44:24game in a largely broken Titans offense.
44:27Wide receiver were 43 and wide receiver 44. Come on down Colts wide receivers.
44:30We got Keenan Allen and Josh DS going up against the Minnesota Vikings. So expecting this to be a hilaciously tough match up for Daniel Jones and company.
44:39This is a sort of defense again blitz happy group that probably is going to bring out the worst in someone like
44:44Daniel Jones and it did the only match up that we've really seen between Jones and Flores since he got to the Vikings.
44:49So credit to Keenan Allen's getting away with it again. 28% targets per out run.
44:54That is the ninth highest mark in the NFL. I would like to think Josh DS can eventually catch up to what some of
45:01these underlying metrics say about him, but man, it's been rough. 42 targets now this year without a receiving touchdown.
45:07Only Drake London has more. So ultimately guys, only the Giants and Dolphins are implied to score fewer points than the Colts this week. And if
45:15I was the one setting the lines in Vegas, I probably have Andy last wire 45. I got Brandon Cooks going up
45:21against the Falcons. It's a little bit tough to know what's going to be going on in Sam Fram, but hey, last week
45:26Jordan Watkins 91% route rate, Cooks 47%, Jacob Cohen 32%. With Mike Evans bang up out there. So, not expecting Evans out there, but you know, when he
45:36isn't there. Christian McCaffrey and also George KD probably just going to be more so than the facto wide receiver ones and wide receiver twos for Brock
45:43Perie.
45:44Wide receiver 46. Marvin Harrison Jr.
45:47against the Giants. We can't rank him much higher until we see him actually go out there and have a full-time role. But
45:53I was encouraged.
45:55I was encouraged last week, guys. I mentioned the average route def 12.2 yards in weeks one through four. Second highest mark behind anyone other than J
46:03Mo. First game, very small sample, but first game with the Texans, 9.9.
46:11That's a quality drop off, man. 42nd among 101 qualified wide receivers last week.
46:18I don't think Marv's overtaking Nico. I don't think we're getting generational wide receiver one production, but we like Straoud. If we see Marv get a
46:26full-time role here. Boomer Bust wide receiver four, maybe even wide receiver three. Could do worse. All right, next up, wide receiver 47. Courtland Sutton
46:35go against the Cardinals. Again, we're giving the Broncos one last chance here, but I don't even know if Sutton really deserves it. 7 yards per run. That's a
46:43sixth lowest mark among 87 wide receivers. Again, tough schedule, but so maybe he can go ahead and get a jump ball touchdown. It'd be nice to see wide
46:52receiver 48. Jan Dodson against the 49ers, guys. The wide receiver 22 over the last three weeks. Jan Dodson has scored more PPR points than Acha Ibuka,
47:03Luther Burden, Garrett Wilson, and Michael Wilson since week four. And they have all played three games when the mainstream media is all quiet about it.
47:10So look, it's been the downfield variety, almost all of it. We're talking two catches, 54 yards, touchdown.
47:18Another two catches for 54 yards. Three catches for 87 yards and a touchdown.
47:22But he's looked pretty good out there.
47:24Getting deep, adjusting to the ball while two defenders are trying to find it. One off the line, caught a little fade for a touchdown as well.
47:32John Dodson is not going to be someone who we should be expecting this consistent production, but we've seen it. We've seen a hell of a lot more from
47:40this year in these last three weeks than we did what, the three previous years combined. man was drafted in the first
47:45round back in the day for a reason. And Michael Pennix is one of those gunslingers wanting to let this dude cook downfield. Jan Dodson is one of
47:53just six wide receivers with at least three catches thrown 30 plus yards downfield this year. So again, that's a sort of volatile role that's going to
48:01lead to plenty of bust, albeit we've gotten some booms, but hey, we're talking about a wide receiver 48 right now. Someone who wasn't even on the
48:07radar to start the season. Boomer and bus wide receiver for Jan Dodson. What a time to be alive.
48:14Key question for this tier guys. In the spirit of talking about these against sacrificial field stretchers, I want to actually try to go ahead and quantify
48:20it. So, got a handy dandy chart showing to you guys targets per route run on the y-axis and average depth of route on the
48:26x-axis. So, in our bottom right hand corner, we are looking at guys who are being used downfield but just aren't being thrown the football very much. And
48:33yes, that is let off by Marvin Harrison Jr. Other big names down there though, Quinton Johnson, Courtland Sutton, Denzel Boston, unfortunately, Roma
48:41Doomay, and Jameson Williams. So, out of that group, I would say Rome and JMO at least are in the sort of offensive
48:47environments where we could feasibly and more realistically expect some booms to be on the way, but yeah, still not looking like a great week toe role
48:54regardless.
48:55And finally, guys, tier five wide receiver fives who probably won't work out, but hey, you could imagine. Led off by wide receiver 49, Ryan Florenoy,
49:02second most productive Cowboys wide receiver over the past two weeks.
49:05obviously because CD Lamb got injured in week five. But hey, Ryan Fenoy FC stand up continues to be one of the best
49:12handcuffed wide receivers in all of fantasy football. Speaking of wide receiver 50 Katada Munfield, guys, I'm encouraged by what he could do with
49:18Devonte Adams sideline. That said, we still seen a pretty decent split between him, 22 Atwell, and even Xavier Smith uh among the kind of backup wide receivers
49:28in Los Angeles. That said, Mumfield 17 targets. That's more than twice as many of those other wide receivers I've had combined. You can even throw Jordan
49:34Weddington in that group as well. I just think it's going to be more multi-tighten sets than anything. Wide receiver 51, Rashid Shahed. Boom or
49:41Bust. Probably going to bust against the best pass defense in football, at least in terms of fantasy points allowed the position. Wide receiver 52, wide
49:48receiver 53, Eagles, Dantavian Wix, and Mai Lemon. It's against the Cowboys, but I just think heavy majority of his passing game is going to go through
49:55Devonte Smith and Dallas Goddard. Wide receiver 54, Jerry Judy. Very nice. He's nice 69 yards last week. Got a game ball
50:02afterwards.
50:03This ranking could probably even be a little bit too high anyway. But hey, Jerry Judy, we're we're back. We're not back. Wide receiver 55, Rashad Baitman,
50:11wide receiver 56, Jacobe Lane. Maybe Lane ends up stepping up, guys. And if Baitman is out with the shoulder injury, I would be moving Lane up higher than
50:18this. If no, Baitman because of that shoulder.
50:22I'll get Lane up to wide receiver 45, maybe even ahead of the Colts wide receiver. So, he'll get the boomer bus
50:30wide receiver for treatment if Baitman's out of the picture. But don't shoot the messenger. They just didn't give Lane a full-time role last week. And I'm also
50:36doing this based on Lamar Jackson still being out of the picture. So, if we get Lamar back and Baitman's out and all now
50:42all of a sudden I could be looking at maybe even a top 40 uh sort of cheering for Jacobe Lane. Two bigs that need to
50:48happen though as I stand here on Wednesday. And finally, wide receiver 57 Caleb Douglas, wide receiver 58, Isaac Tessa, wide receiver 59, Khalif Raymond,
50:56and wide receiver 60, Jaylen Royals.
50:59Only thing I'll kind of bring up here is the Royals. He did work well ahead of Cyrus Allen last week. It was actually
51:0384% wraps at 13%. All that got him though was two catches out there. So, it's Xavier Worthy, Travis Kelce, Noah Gray, honestly, and then Kenneth Walker.
51:12Patrick Mahomes is not really zeroing on any of these other wide receivers at the moment. But guys, that's going to do it
51:17for me today. Hey, if you like the video, please like the video. Hit that subscribe button. Always does help out as well. I will be back with tight ends
51:22here sooner rather than later after I go ahead and write that handy dandy article. If you want to find written articles from myself and the rest of our
51:28Rotowwire team, head on over rotower.com. Also be updating these very rankings all throughout the week as new information presents itself. So,
51:35appreciate you tuning in as always. I'm Ian Hart. Until next time, take care everybody.
