0:00is a great day to break down wide receivers in fantasy football land ahead of week six. Going to be going through
0:05the top 60 in my rankings inside six tiers. And at the end of each one, I'll be breaking down a bigger picture
0:11question. Things like what defenses are maybe giving up a lot of more fantasy points to wide receivers from the slot than out wide. What defenses are relying
0:18on man coverage and how can we use that to benefit us in fantasy land? All that and much much more. So, appreciate you
0:23guys tuning in. And with that, let's get after it with the wide receiver one, Jackson Smith and Jigba. toughish matchup on Thursday night against the
0:30Broncos, but still doesn't exactly look like they're gonna be getting passer Tan back. Rally Moss banged up as well. So only two alleged mortals and Josh Allen
0:37and Gibbs have more PPR points than Jackson Smith and Jiga this season.
0:41Continues to be wheels up for the guy.
0:43Hopefully that ankle was okay, but again he scored a touchdown right after getting it wrapped up on Sunday. So I am
0:48not concerned. Also not concerned about wide receiver too. Puka Nua guys 24 targets in week week five. 24. All right. That's the second most in the
0:5821st century. Brandon Marshall had 28 in a game. Shout out to uh who was it? It wasn't Jay Cutler. It was uh Kyle Kyle
1:06Orton, I believe, got him those 28 targets. So, yeah, what a time to be alive. Look, Puka, he's Puka. All right.
1:13In the last three match ups against the Cardinals, 129 yards, 167 yards, and two TDs, 76 yards, and a touchdown as well.
1:19So, he is eating targets up like no wide receiver we have seen in quite some time. Pukon Nico wide receiver two wide
1:26receiver three I got Chris Lav going up against the New York football Giants actually didn't go off last week it is
1:32possible apparently snapped a sevengame streak of him gaining at least 100 yards and or scoring a touchdown should be a nice nice bounceback opponent here so
1:40Giants 10th worst defense in terms of EPA and success rate allowed for drop back not worried about L here getting back to business wide receiver four I
1:48got CD Lamb similar sentiment here guys nine scoreless yards last week that's the second fewest of his career career when actually playing at least half of
1:56the game. Now, of course, he did barely play at least half the game out there with that bruised quad, but tentatively
2:01not expecting that to be a problem and that sets him up for this likely Sunday night shootout in Lambo. So, again,
2:06feeling good about Sidi going out there and doing CD things. Last week sucked. I get it. But the week before that, 189
2:12yards and a touchdown on 17 catches.
2:14Feeling good against a Packers defense that I'm not saying they suck necessarily, guys, but I am saying that they have not played anyone this season.
2:21All right. When you do look at the quarterbacks that Green Bay has had the luxury of getting matched up against, we're talking about Kylo Murray for all
2:28of 11 snaps, followed by Carson Wentz.
2:30Then we got Gino Smith in week two.
2:32Michael Pennix in week three. Respect.
2:34Michael Penn played some okay football this year. I get it. Looking at the Buccaneers and Jaylen Johnson in week four, and then we got a mix of Tabag and
2:40Case Keenum in week five. No, I'm not so on the Packers. Cowboys will be the first real high-end passing offense they're facing. Fireworks expected.
2:48Speaking of the Packers though, wide receiver five and wide receiver six residing from Green Bay. Give me Christian Watson and Matthew Golden
2:55here. Watson, I mean, this is what he's been all season. He is the wide receiver four in PPR points per game. And even
3:00Golden is the wide receiver 17, man. So, we've already seen high-end counting numbers and they aren't fluky. Both these guys are also in the top 13 in
3:07terms of total targets this season. So, this is also just the Cowboys boost.
3:11Again, we see it week after week. It can really be any position player, whatever you as an offense want to do. if you're
3:17facing the Cowboys like you are able to do it. Just the ultimate slump buster defense out there. Not that the Packers
3:22need it. I mean, they look fantastic against the Bears last week. Jordan Love throwing that thing all over the field.
3:28So, look, only Raiders Bills has a higher game total than Cowboys Packers, but they are actively catching up.
3:33Cowboys have allowed the most PPR points per game. Two opposing wide receivers dating back to week one of last season.
3:39And again, it's just a situation where we have Jordan Love throwing it down fields, condensed offense around these two. Really even taking off over Tucker
3:46Craft. Really, really hard not to like the just overall boom upside for both Watson and Golden. I dare you guys to
3:52show me a fantasy football lineup where both Watson and Golden should not be in there. Make it happen. Wide receiver seven. I'm going Mike Evans here against
4:00the Commanders on Monday Night Football.
4:02Mike Evans back in the top seven. What a great time to be alive. So, dunked on the Seahawks, man. Seven catches, 113
4:08yards, and a touchdown felt even more impressive than that just watching the game. So, hit Trayvon Digs with the, you know, who are you sort of situation as
4:15well. So, I would think the probable future Hall of Famer guys, he's got a team high 34 targets even being eliminated in several games out there.
4:23Debo Samuel's going to miss some time with the hamstring injury. So, yeah, Mike Evans, man, out there doing his thing. I will also know it's crazy to me
4:31that Evans, you would just think the way he wins is like 50/50 contested catch situations, right? which he does obviously. I love the expression by the
4:39way that Brady talked about. Um it was a Brock Pery back shoulder throw to Evans and Evans went up and got it. And the
4:45way Tom Brady described it was as changing the light bulb I guess is the phrase that he uses when Evans go up
4:50goes up there. So cool stuff there and he's amazing at that. I get it. But man, ESPN has a stat to help quantify
4:57separation called open score. He's a wide receiver too in that. And if you say ESPN stats or whatever, well go to
5:02our friends over at Fantasy Points.
5:04their oper average average separation score has Evans as the wide receiver three in the league. So ank still got it and he's facing a commander secondary.
5:11One of four units allowing 40 plus fantasy points per game to wide receivers. Wheels up for Mike Evans.
5:16Similar sentiment for wide receiver eight. I got Nico Collins guys going up against a Jaguars defense that he absolutely owns. Okay, last five
5:24matchups he has cleared 100 yards each and every time. He scored three touchdowns across those games. And guess what? He's playing great this season as
5:30well. So pretty much for the better part of the last three years, Nico when he has been healthy enough to get out
5:35there, which is usually the issue, he's been a top 10 receiver in real life and fantasy. So yeah, now that we do have a
5:41healthy CJ Stra playing better ball than ever with Nico in a winnable matchup, I am feeling good here. Travis Hunter has
5:48made some plays on defense, but I it's not a matchup to concern yourself with.
5:51We saw Dantavian Wix getting him to business a little bit last week. Also, Darius Cooper was out there, you know, making big plays on their other corners,
5:58so not concerned here. Nico Collins could be a sneaky shootout there for London faithful early on Sunday.
6:04Speaking of that matchup, I got wide receiver nine, Parker Washington, guys.
6:07Chop wood, Carrie Water, wide receiver 13 and PPR points per game on the season. Finally got the true breakout last week as well. He's had some good
6:15games, but man, Buck 24 and two TDs showed off the yag and then also had that incredible one-handed catch to put
6:21the Jaguars up late. So, the one issue has been really just a dominant Jacksonville team more weeks than not, not needing to keep their foot on the
6:29gas. It's been a good defense. Liam Cohen's been fine run the football and they've been able to kind of get these
6:33leads. I will say though, I went back last year looking at drop back rate over expected, which is a fun stat you can
6:39find over at fantasylife.com.
6:42Liam Cohen in two matchups against the Texans last year, plus 8% marks in drop back rate over expected. They're at minus 2% this season. Okay, I do
6:51consider Liam Cohen one of the smarter head coaches out there and someone who tailors his offense to what he thinks is
6:59best for that given week and I think he knows that trying to run Bashaw Tude and company into the brick wall that's going
7:05to be Will Anderson to Neil Hunter and that Texans front seven. We saw it last year. He wanted nothing to do with it.
7:11So if we can just get some more volume for Parker Washington for Trevor Lawrence and company, maybe we get another boom on our hands here. Note
7:17that number one quarterback for the Texans, Derek Stingley. Still has spent the majority, 83% to be specific, of his snaps as the left outside corner.
7:26Parker, they move him all over the formation. If anyone's going to be getting clamped by Stingley, it's going to be a combination of Brian Thomas Jr.
7:32and Josh Cameron.
7:34Wide receiver 10, I got Drake London going up against the Bears. It does sound like Michael Penn is going to be
7:38out there, which hey has been great for the Drake London business recently. 194 96 and 118 yards in these last three
7:44games. My managers can't find a touchdown though, guys. 37 targets without a score this year for Drake Loving that is tied with Carnell Tate
7:51for the highest mark in the league.
7:52Wouldn't be surprised if we get one if not more against a Bears secondary that look completely lost against Jordan Love and the Packers back in week five. Wide
7:59receiver 11. I'm going Malik Neighbors guys and man it's still so tough because I've come here the last couple weeks and
8:09I've wondered if trying to sell Malik Neighbors a decent idea and I still wonder that man. I'm not going out of my
8:16way to do it though. He looks good. 112 yards and a touchdown. 121 yards and a touchdown. Jameus looking like Jamus
8:23again.
8:24I might have put too much stock in the Jamus coming off the bench against the Rams and then having the bad bad weather game. His arm
8:33just didn't look good. But you know what? It's looking good now. And so is Malik Neighbors. Man, we have Jamus playing f it. Malik's down there
8:40somewhere ball. He's winning games or inexplicably tying games. To be fair, that was an awesome comeback from Jamus if Scataboo holds on the football like
8:48he would have been three and0 as a starter. Hasn't been the steepest competition, but it's not going to be this week and it's not exactly the
8:54toughest schedule the rest of the way either. So, Saints defense, we saw Justin Jefferson go for 79 and a touchdown last week. Drake London, Amra
9:01St. Brown, even Rashad Baitman have had big games against this group. So, Malik Neighbors, man, as long as he's healthy enough to be out there, as long as
9:08Jameus Winston is under center, he's a wide receiver one. And here he is, wide receiver 11. Wide receiver 12. I got
9:14Michael Wilson going up against the Rams, guys. Fell back to earth a little bit last week with the 30 scoreless yards in such a prime matchup without
9:20Marvin Harrison Jr. That's just good oldfashioned fantasy football for you.
9:23That said, we did see him really just win both these matchups against the Rams last season in style. Buck 42 and two
9:29scores as well as 99 yards and another touchdown. So, it is a tough matchup. We have only seen this Rams defense allow
9:36one wide receiver to gain over 50 yards in a game. That was Kal Shakur and it took him until overtime when he had that
9:42real nice yak play to even get there in the first place. That said, man, you just don't see teams like the Cardinals
9:47be willing to not only throw the ball the entire game, but also just keep their guys out there. Like we saw it
9:54last week, Trey McBride was having a really bad game until, you know, he scored a touchdown to cut the lead to 24
10:00points with two or three minutes left in the fourth quarter. So, it sounds like, cuz I was reading Ben Solic's column on
10:07ESPN, I think the Cardinals said in their uh postgame presser that they are going to try to start making Carson Beck
10:12active at the end of these games because like that was the problem last week. It was he was their emergency quarterback.
10:17So, they could have taken Jacobe out for Gardenner Menchu, but apparently that's just something they're not willing to do. So, maybe if they start making
10:24Carson Beck active, that could hurt this, you know, garbage time scam that we have working for us. But we'll need to see it to believe it. Michael Wilson,
10:32he has 15 to 20 target upside during any given week out there, man. Not overthinking it. Wide receiver 12 for me
10:38and likely moving forward. Key question for this tier though, guys. Want to show you guys a handy dandy chart and just
10:43help quantify who have been the worst defenses against wide receivers this season. So X-axis, we got PPR points per game allowed to wide receivers. Y-axis
10:51is passer rating allowed to wide receivers. And to no one's surprise, we are seeing the Cowboys stand out as one of the worst groups. If again you did go
10:58include 2025 numbers as well, you would really see that difference. But in addition to the Cowboys, we got the Bills up there in the top right. Maybe a
11:05bounceback game for Trey Tucker. More real more realistically though, just wheels up for Brock Bowers per usual. We got the Cardinals there. Good things for
11:12the Rams. Wide receivers unless you needed, you know, any more reason to play them. The Commanders again feeling good about Mike Evans in this spot. Then
11:19also the Texans, guys. Maybe it was just one week against the Titans that made their defense look better. I do think
11:25getting Deco Ryan's back to calling plays is going to lead the Texas defense, you know, more weeks than not being great. But hey, Jaguars offense is
11:32pretty darn good in its own right. So, good matchups for those groups.
11:35Meanwhile, toughest matchups go the Chargers, the nonJSN Seahawks, and the Broncos who have to be facing the Chiefs, Broncos, and Seahawks,
11:42respectively. Also will note that the Dolphins surprised me because they've actually allowed the second fewest PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers this
11:50year. But again, I included the passer rating part on this chart because you can see they've actually been pretty bad when you look at them on a per target
11:58basis. I think it's more so been the Dolphins falling behind a lot and opponents being able to run the ball.
12:03They've also, you know, been attacking them with tight ends, things of that nature. So, would not be scared off of, you know, playing wide receivers against
12:09the Dolphins in future weeks. Tier two guys, I got stardom if you got him. wide receiver 13 George Pickkins going up
12:15against the St. Packers defense that he torched basically a calendar a year ago for 134 yards and two touchd over 100 yards and a touchdown I would
12:29buy a Priest Holmes Chiefs jersey and he went ahead and went for over 100 yards and a touchdown. So hate being right
12:35sometimes. We'll get another jersey bett in here soon enough though. And if you do look at my bowl prediction record on
12:40the season, odds are that I will be buying a jersey sooner rather than later. So, George Pickkins though, wide receiver 13. Cowboys offense doing
12:47great. Again, I already talked about how good this matchup is for pretty much everyone involved.
12:52Wide receiver 14. I got Ted McMillan to go against the Eagles. Now, this is assuming that Jaylen Coker is going to
12:57be back following the Panthers by week.
12:59So, if we did see Koker out once again, I could get McMillan. [sighs] I'm definitely move him ahead of Michael Wilson. I get him to wide receiver 12. I
13:11don't know if I could quite get him ahead of Neighbors in London. Probably be like a let's make sure the weather is
13:15kind of okay sort of thing and then let that be a bit of a tiebreaker there. But if you have Tedron McMillan, you're
13:20starting him regardless. And against an Eagles defense, and I'll expand on this a little bit more here in a bit when we
13:25get the end this tier, but they've been good overall. They've allowed the eighth fewest PPR points per game to receivers.
13:32All right. But they've allowed the most PPR points per game to receivers aligned in the slot. All right. And we have seen
13:39Terrell McMillan in the slot for about 25% of his snaps this year. Even a little bit more when we did see Jaylen
13:44Coker out of the picture. So it's been Coker more so as their slot receiver. I think he's about 40% this season. So,
13:50not saying team actually begin to feast on, you know, Cooper Deian, whoever else they have kind of manning the interior part of the field in that Eagles
13:57secondary, but just something to keep in mind when we do have a secondary like the Eagles who deserve to be laotted.
14:02You know, Quinton Mitchell is a good player, we haven't seen them using him to shadow number one wide receiver, so I'm less scared of it than I would be
14:08otherwise. Wide receiver 15, I got Zay Flowers. He's only this far down because of former Pro Bowl QB Tyler Huntley having to fill in for Lamar Jackson,
14:16though I am expecting to be missing another week out here. So, if we did get Lamar Jackson back in action again, move
14:23aside Michael Wilson, I'd probably get Zay all the way up there, wide receiver seven, I think. I mean, that's how good
14:29he's been playing. And just seeing Declan Doyle's overall wellness to really revolve this entire passing game around Zay Flowers. It has been
14:36something to see. So, even last week, man, 66 scoreless yards on nine touches.
14:40But if we could have tacked on that extra 26 that he caught and earned, but unfortunately, the Ravens said, "F you,
14:46fantasy managers. We're going to take our extra three yards on defensive pass interference penalty. Again, for like a potential game to have 92 scoreless
14:54yards on 10 touches, like you could ask for a hell of a lot worse in terms of what most guys are doing with backup
14:59quarterbacks out there. So, like a lot of teams though, don't be afraid of this Denzo Ward matchup guys. Denzo Ward is
15:05awesome, but like we talked about last week with Garrett Wilson, the head of this matchup, they have not been using in the shadow opposing number one wide
15:11receivers. And that has allowed teams like the Jets getting Garrett over 100 yards in a touchdown. and even the Steelers who had DK Mechy and Roman
15:18Wilson nearly combined for 200 yards to basically take turns going off against the other Browns quarterbacks. So, we've seen Ward in the past shadow guys, but
15:26apparently in this new defensive system, they don't want that to be the case. Z Flowers, wide receiver 15. Speaking of Garrett Wilson, he is my wide receiver
15:3316. And I mentioned the ESPN receiver ratings. You guys can actually check them out for free. Always appreciate when people are doing that.
15:40ESPNalytics.comreceivers.
15:42I mentioned the open rating, number one in the NFL this year. Garrett Wilson, guys, twitchy separation ability. It's been fully on display. He is on pace for
15:52105 catches, 1272 yards, and 10 scores on a whopping 143 targets. So, we did hear from Todd Bulls, not Todd Bulls,
16:00from Aaron Glenn today that we are not going to be getting Adai Mitchell back, at least for this week. He had to
16:04undergo a procedure on his hand. So, that's not ideal. Omar Cooper also doesn't seem like he's going to be back in the picture yet. No. Oh yeah, Kenya
16:11Sadique is also out with the concussion.
16:12So some of the issues for Garrett Wilson going to this year, at least for me as someone who wishes I would have drafted
16:17more of them. Of course, it was not just I mean I saw the I guess idea where it's like hey you know Gino Smith's going to
16:25be better than most quarterbacks that Garrett's had a chance to play with for sure. It was also like man they drafted
16:31two first round picks and AD Mitchell was somehow out targeting Garrett before he got injured. You add in the potential for them maybe run the ball, you know,
16:37new offensive coordinator Frank Reich hadn't been doing much. Hey, as long as Garrett Wilson is there with a reasonable quarterback and literally no
16:44target competition, yeah, I'm going to be keeping them in the top 16. The reason why it's this low though is because we are looking at a Patriots
16:51team that does have a number one quarterback who they will actually deploy on the opposition's number one wide receiver. So, it's not every snap
16:59and it never is. All right. Usually you can actually line these guys up in the slot and very few quarterbacks are going
17:04to be traveling inside. Usually it's left to right on the outside, but Christian Gonzalez does that. He said, quote, he's ready to go coming off the
17:11shoulder injury and I just think it could be a long night for Uncle Jesse.
17:16Just, you know, Garrett Wilson. Little entourage joke there. But hey, it's Garrett Wilson. No competition. I think they'll find a way to still push for 10
17:24plus targets, but it's going to be tough against Gonzo, man. And we've seen Garrett, not trying to put him down, different quarterbacks and stuff, but he
17:32got got eaten up a few times last year.
17:34Pat Certan was one of those matchups that he really struggled with. I worry about Garrett against like two or three quarterbacks
17:42in the league. I'm not trying to put the guy down, but guess what? Gonzo is one of those two or three quarterbacks in
17:47the league. So, if you are an incredibly blessed fantasy team, I could see you having a tough start sit decision. Maybe
17:54you got Matthew Golden late. You also have Mike Evans who you got a little bit there, you know. Then you got Tedall
17:59McMillan. I could see sitting Garrett Wilson in that more times than not though. Play the guy cuz volume should win out and talent show. But the matchup
18:06again is enough of a tiebreaker for me to have my wide receiver 16. Wide receiver 17. I'm going with Devonte Adams against the Cardinals. Going back
18:13to week one of last season, we're talking about the wide receiver six in PPR points per game. So why is he ranked
18:18wide receiver 17? It's just a little more volatile when Puka Nakua is healthy. All right, three games of Puka this year. We've seen Adams have six,
18:25nine, and seven targets. So, look, made the most out of them on Monday night.
18:30Two of those seven targets went for touchdowns and everything. And the Cardinals defense has allowed a league high 10 receiving touchdowns, two
18:36opposing wide receivers. It's just a game where when Puka is out there, we're not expecting his yardage to be flirting with, you know, triple digits. And then
18:45you just need him to be scoring touchdowns in an offense that again also has other guys they can get the football
18:50to. I don't think they're going to be needing to keep their foot on the gas this week. I think Adams puts up a
18:54perfectly fine stat line. That's why he's my wide receiver 17. I'm looking more so for games like, you know, the Bills shootout and other matchups where
19:01again, we can see teams actually press the Rams more so than I think the Cardinals will. And that's why I'll be
19:06getting Adams back around that wide receiver one borderline.
19:09Wide receiver 18, I got Terry McLaren going against the 49ers on Monday Night Football. This is assuming that Stefon Diggs is going to once again be out with
19:16the hamstring injury. So Terry, man, I think he's just been waiting to have a big game this year, but quarterback rotation after quarterback rotation, and
19:23he's been dealing with his own hamstring injury. Hopefully, it all comes comes together on Monday night. But it is a tough matchup, man. And we have seen San
19:31Fran the fourth most zone coverage in the league. And we've actually seen Terry rank behind Diggs and even Antonio Williams in targets per out run against
19:38zone coverage. So that would be the one issue with getting too excited about Terry McLaren because we even saw it in
19:442024 when Jaden Daniels and the entire offense including Terry McLaren were going off given the fact that he was sharing the field with Diami Brown and
19:52old man Zack Z. Like I've always just been shocked not to see Terry McLaren getting 150 plus targets and some of
19:58these just obsolete and just absent offenses of any other kind of firepower.
20:03But it just hasn't quite been the case throughout his NFL career. And that's kind of why he's been more so of this,
20:07you know, wide receiver two, upside wide receiver three, even though I do believe his real life talents are a little bit
20:12higher than that, or at least have been in past years. But either way, we saw JSN go for 102 and touchdown against
20:18this defense. We saw Michael Wilson go for 89 yards and touchdown as well with a healthy for now. Please let that for
20:24now last a little bit longer. Jaden Daniels under center, Terry McLaren, top 20 option for me this week. Wide receiver 19, I have a hopefully
20:32returning Devonte Smith. I'm recording this on Wednesday afternoon. So, the practice part participation stuff is starting to trickle in. It sounds like
20:38he's not out there on Wednesday. So, not a great start to the week, but if we do get him out there, it's a great match up
20:44against the Panthers defense that hasn't exactly been slowing down anyone this year. Very banged up in the secondary as well, which is not helping matters for
20:50him. And hey, last full game we saw him healthy, assuming he was kind of banged up in that week three game against the
20:56Bears, 117 yards and touchdown out here.
20:58So, look, Jayen Hurst, he's playing the worst football of his career. I think he's in the worst environment of his career as well. Like funny how that
21:04works sometimes, guys. But at the end of the day, we're looking at a bad Eagles offense that needs something to go right
21:12and that something should be their highly paid longtime overqualified number two wide receiver, Devonte Smith, who every looked every bit like someone
21:20ready to break out to start the season.
21:22So, please injury gods, give us a clean bill of health for Dvonte Smith. I do think Jaylen Herz is still good enough
21:27in the year 2026 to get his man the football.
21:31Wide receiver 20. Welcome to the top 20 Browns rookie wide receiver Denzel Boston. He's been great this season, guys. Wide receiver 22 in PPR points per
21:40game. He's had three touchdowns in five games. And just passing the eye test as well. I mean, for him to go out there
21:45and just end up big boying his way to get that touchdown against the Jets last week. Helps save those otherwise a very
21:51forgettable game from the Browns passing attack. Watson taking sack after sack, drop after drop from the pass catchers.
21:56But hey, for Boston, nothing's been too easy this season. They've kind of forced him to either make these giant yak plays
22:03like he had against the Buccaneers or just winning downfield on these more volatile sort of situations. When you remove Casey Conception from the
22:10situation, I'm assuming he's going to be out with that concussion injury. I do wonder if we can get a true boom once
22:16for Denzel Boston. So, it's tough to go out to on a limb with this because again, we do have the erratic Deshawn
22:21Watson under center and losing Casey Conception could very well just mean more Isaiah Bond or maybe they get some more of those screens to Harold Fannon
22:28instead. But man, Boston's playing great. The Ravens have given up 100 plus yards to a wide receiver in three consecutive weeks. CD Lamb, Carnell
22:36Tate, and Drake London.
22:38You know what? Let's do another jersey bet. Denzel Boston 100 plus yards and a touchdown against the Ravens this Sunday. If not, Josh Cribs Browns
22:49jersey. I'll wear it next week. Let's go, Denzel. I believe in you. Wide receiver 21. I got Jaylen Coker going up
22:56against the Philadelphia Eagles. Guys, please be back. He is reportedly on track. And hey, the last time we saw him fully healthy and doing his thing,
23:03freaking balling, guys. Again, going back to last season into the first two games of this year, we're talking 47 yards in the TUD, 134 yards and a
23:10touchdown, 138 and two touchdowns in week one, and then eight catches for 66 yards in week two. So again, he spent
23:1742% of his snaps in the slot, that's actually higher than Tedro McMillan. So if anyone is really going to be benefiting from again somehow the worst
23:24defense in the league in PPR points per game allowed to slot wide receivers, it probably will be Jaylen Coker. But again, I want to keep on focusing on
23:32this specific topic and now show you guys what defenses have been better or worse against wide receivers depending on the alignment. So, as always, shout
23:39out to True Media for all my graphs here. As you can see, we have teams like the Bills, the Cardinals, and the Lions.
23:45Actually, they've been bad everywhere.
23:47Slot out wide. You're scoring fantasy points. However, we have these other teams, the Eagles, the Bengals, the Colts, the Raiders. They've been much
23:56worse against the slot than out wide.
23:58And I don't think it's a coincidence that the Colts, Bengals, and Eagles in particular, they do have a number one quarterback that I think teams are
24:04probably trying to avoid on the outside.
24:06So, Quin Mitchell, DJ Turner for the Bengals, even Ahmed Gardner for the Colts. Just a situation where again, I think defenses are probably not trying
24:14to test them too often. So, accordingly, we're seeing the slot guy eat underneath. It's almost like the opposite, not the opposite, but it's
24:21another way of looking at the pass and run funnel defense stuff. You know, teams like over the years when they faced the Buccaneers, for example, they
24:28don't want to run the ball at Vtoa in the trenches, so they throw the ball more often. We see us in Denver as well.
24:33Why throw it past Otam? We're going to throw Rally Moss instead. So, definitely something to really keep in mind. Again, Philly game, I think that's going to be
24:39benefiting Jaylen Coker more than anyone. Bengals are on by. Obviously, when you look at the Raiders, they're facing the Bills. That could be good
24:45news for Khalil Shakur. It's the Bills and they can just run the ball on anyone. you know, could have another game where Josh Allen has 19 attempts
24:52and his wide receivers have five or six targets or whatever it was. So, a little bit more wonky there. And then with the
24:57Colts though, facing off against the Titans, they run a lot of man coverage.
25:01Is it Wandale Robinson season? It might be Wale Robinson season.
25:06Seahawks, Broncos, Chiefs, good everywhere. I talked earlier about the Dolphins being a little bit fugazy.
25:11Teams having good versus slot, bad versus outside wide receivers though. We have actually seen the Falcons. So maybe good news for Roma Dun Luther Burton
25:18Packers. Not that we need any more reason to play George Piggin and CD Lamb. And then the Commanders. So again, that much more reason to feel hyped
25:25about Mike Evans putting up some big-time numbers here on Monday Night Football. Guys though, quick break from football for a second. The NBA tips off
25:33next Tuesday, so it's fantasy hoops draft week. If you're not already a Roto Wire Fantasy Pass subscriber, this is the time to sign up. Fantasy Pass Pro
25:41gets you the NBA draft kit for draft day. them once the season starts. The lineup optimizer that you'll be able to
25:46use for your DFS lineups. And hey, why not guys? All right, it's NBA. It's fantasy basketball. Football unfortunately will end at some point.
25:54The lineup optimizer and projected ownership for your DFS slates. We'll have you fully ready to go for all things fantasy fantasy basketball. So,
26:01there's a link in the description. Make sure you use code hoops 25. That's hops25 for 25% off. Hey, support the show.
26:10Support Rotoire. Support your freaking self, man, by trying to be better at fantasy basketball. Again, that's code hoops 25 for 25% off. Best of luck to
26:18everyone out there on your fantasy basketball adventures. Back to the show and back to tier three top 30 options, who I think you can feel at least okay
26:26about flexing. We got wide receiver 22, Luther Burden. Hasn't been killing you this year and did I think better than probably expected with Caleb Williams
26:34sidelined. Hopefully we do get Caleb back this week though and hopefully Luther really starts resembling that game breaker that many of us at least me
26:41thought we were drafting here a few short weeks ago. So look this year it's Luther Burden Malik Washington. Those are the top two
26:49receivers in terms of tackles avoided when they've had the football in their hands. And when we do look at the Falcons I don't think they're a bad
26:55defense by any stretch of the imagination but I do think former Pro Bowl quarterback Tyler Snoop Huntley kind of showed that maybe a little bit
27:02of a fugazi there. So, end of the day, we've seen Tedro McMillan go for over 100. Matthew Golden for 100 in the TUD,
27:09Chris for 116, Christian Watson for 96 in the TUD. I think in a potential sneaky shootout, which Bears games have a chance to be if their defense keeps
27:19playing like they did last week and how they looked in week one against the Panthers, again, you can play that game
27:23for a lot. I don't think the Bears are a bottom five defense in the league, but definitely close to a 32-1, maybe even
27:30closer to 32-6. Luther Burton, my wide receiver 22. Could be a fun game there inside the dome. Hopefully points, points, points. Wide receiver 23. I'm
27:39going DK Mechaf against the Buccaneers, guys. I think he gets back on track and supplies us with the second boom of the
27:44season because he finally has a reasonable matchup. This quarterback stretch to start the year was miserable for DK Mechaf. I think we talked about a
27:51lot for Brian Thomas Jr. and what the Jaguars were dealing with. But man, AJ Terrell in week one, then Christian Gonzalez, then DJ Turner, Denzel Ward,
27:59and Amed Gardner to start the season for DK Metaf. So, no, hasn't made the most out of his opportunities. And you would
28:06like someone that's making as much as Mechaf to be able to go out there and win some of these battles, but did clear
28:10over 100 yards against the Browns and is now looking at a Buccaneers defense that has actually been running a lot more
28:16zone coverage, which is actually different than what Mech has been seeing this year. In fact, all those defenses that I just mentioned, four out of the
28:23top five defenses in man coverage have already faced the Steelers this year.
28:27And Metaf is actually an exception to the usual rule that we see wide receivers earn more targets against man than zone. He actually has more yards
28:34per outr run and targets per outr run by a pretty decent margin, guys, facing zone coverage compared to man. So don't
28:40be surprised if we see Metaf again work as what he's usually been throughout his career, a boomer bust wide receiver three, but actually supply us with a
28:47boom against a Buccaneer secondary that had very few answers for George Pickkins last Thursday. Wide receiver 24, I'm going with Carnell Tate going up against
28:56Amed Gardner in that cold secondary. So again, unfortunate that we have Carnell Tate joining Drake London at top the leaderboard for most targets this season
29:04without a touchdown. And man, can we get one deep ball connection? Ward almost hit Carnell on a crazy one, man. It was
29:12like a last second kind of bat away uh last week, but this is the only offense in the NFL with zero completions thrown
29:2030 plus yards downfield this year. And a reminder, Jordan Love had five of those last week alone. Man, Carnell Tate biggest strength coming out of Ohio
29:28State was that field stretching ability.
29:30Just haven't quite been seeing it. So, hey, the six scoreless yards last week sucked. I get it. But 145 yards a week
29:37before that. Ahmed Gardner has spent 83% of his snaps as the outside right cornerback. Not expecting a shadow situation at all. I hate the offense. I
29:46do believe in Cardinal Tape. He's been getting target volume more weeks than not. Wide receiver 24 for me this week.
29:53Wide receiver 25. I'm going with Devon Ble here. Wide receiver 26 and PPR points per game this season. Had the led
29:59down against the Vikings. But again, when Tyler Shucks and I get throw for 100 yards, nobody got anything going in this offense. So, look, better floor
30:06than ceiling play here, but I don't know. Saints and Giants, guys. I don't want to call every game a sneaky shootout, but if I had to pick two this
30:12week, it would be Saints and Giants and also be the Texans Jaguars game. So, Saints and Giants especially, like I actually when I was writing this up, and
30:19you can find all these written up, by the way, at rotoire.com if you're into reading words in the year 2026. But I
30:25just expected a higher game total. I'm not going to tell you guys I'm, you know, this worldrenowned gambler. In fact, I can tell you I am not a
30:31worldrenowned gambler, but 45.5 point game total. Life's always been too short to bet the under, but I really do like the over in that one. So, Vele, he's
30:40been giving us honestly wide receiver two production for a lot of this season.
30:44I think he finds the end zone. I think he has another good game here against the lowly Giants secondary.
30:49Wide receiver 26. I'm going Jaylen Waddle against the Seahawks. God, Jaylen Waddle. Oh, man. The Chargers and Waddle, guys. Those are my two whiffs
30:58that just really hurt. Oh my god, they hurt.
31:03Oh, they hurt. I'm in so much freaking pain right now. And we got the Seahawks.
31:09Shawn Peyton told his wife to draft Jaylen Waddle in fantasy, man. Mrs.
31:14Peyton one and four. I need an update on that.
31:18Can someone ask Shawn Peyton about his wife's fantasy team? How to press her?
31:22Oh, man.
31:24I don't see Wadd doing to the Seahawks secondary what Mike Evans just did. Do you? I went back and I was even watching
31:31his routes from last week. He looks good out there. He looks explosive.
31:35I think Bo Knicks is just taking one and a half seconds and checking the ball down. Just not doing right things.
31:42I don't know, man. And the worst part is like he's in the same system three straight years. Upgraded supporting cast. The offensive line's great.
31:54I wouldn't say it's the best room of receivers and pass catchers in the league, but we can certainly name some worse ones.
32:01I think we'll have better days ahead from Waddle. Like, he's literally averaging career worst numbers and receptions and yards per game, catch
32:08rate, and yards per target. Like, look, when we make these preseason predictions and stuff, and I would like to think most of us still realize that there's a
32:16way things can go bad.
32:19I just didn't expect career worse numbers here. If Waddle was just going to kind of be that lowen wide receiver two, Boomer bust wide receiver three
32:28that he's been for several seasons of his career. That wouldn't have surprised me that much. But man, the matchups have been tough, but this one's not getting
32:37any better.
32:39If you can get Waddle for a bag of rocks, though, they do get better. And I would like to
32:48think the more Shawn Payeyton is I guess back calling plays that he can get more out of Bon Knicks. Seahawks this week is a disaster. But then we get
32:59the Cardinals and we get the Chiefs.
33:01That's no fun. Other than that Chiefs matchup though, Cardinals, Panthers, Raiders, Steelers, Dolphins, Jets, Raiders, Bills, and then we got the
33:11Patriots in week 17.
33:13The Broncos have been so bad this year that I don't know if it's going to make a difference. But man, Chiefs, Jaguars,
33:20Rams, Niners, Chargers, Seahawks to start the year. Like that is abysmal, man, for Bo Next and Jaylen Waddle to deal with. Pat Bryant's out of the
33:28picture. The other part of the Jaylen Wadd idea of how it could go wrong would be Courtland Sutton really stealing away
33:36more targets than expected. I think Courtland Sutton looks washed.
33:42Let Jaylen Waddle dud on Thursday night.
33:45Reach out to disgruntled manager. Maybe offer them like a back massage or I don't know, Ray Davis. How low can his
33:52value be? You have to offer more than Ray Davis. Just Drake and Josh around there. But Jaylen Waddle, the night is
33:59dark before the dawn. I think it's going to be another rough week six, but week seven and beyond might be spelling
34:07redemption. J A Y L. Wide receiver 27. I got Jeremy Bernard guys going against the Buccaneers. Caught six of nine targets for 80 yards. First career
34:16start. Something looks ready to continue with Michael Pitman on IR and Roman Wilson expecting to miss potentially multiple weeks with that finger injury.
34:22So thought he looked good out there.
34:24Again, I think Metaf will still be the number one option more weeks than not.
34:27But hey, shout out to rookie for doing his thing. We also got Muth. We got Darnell Washington. We got Jaylen Warren. Like this is an offense that's
34:33more than happy to lean on some of the auxiliary pass catchers. But Jerry Bernard going out there being the guy they want to get the ball to fast and
34:39design screen game can also work down the seam. Feeling very good about him being a rock solid wide receiver three here for the foreseeable future. Wide
34:47receiver 28. I got Josh downs against the Titans guys. Number two an average average separation score shout out fantasy points and just not getting the
34:55football. He had 20 targets in weeks two and three and then 10 combined in weeks four and five. Why is Laquan Treadwell
35:03out targeting Josh DS? Maybe it's because Daniel Jones is arguably playing the worst football of his career. But man, Keenan Allen, drunk Keenan out
35:11here. Nine targets in week five alone.
35:15It's just crazy to me. They finally got Tyler Warren going last week, but before that, he wasn't even doing much of
35:20anything. So, I don't know. Titans, they are a bottom eight defense in PPR points per game against slot receivers. It's a
35:28good matchup. We've had good matchups.
35:29You know, this was another one I went back and watched some of the film. This was like he's hoping Daniel Jones just isn't
35:37letting it rip. Has some pressure some of the drop backs and everything just rough.
35:44The worst offense in the NFL this year and catchable passes deemed by PFF thrown 20 plus yards downfield. The Indianapolis Colts. Sad. But this is
35:53where we're at, guys. Four teams on by.
35:56Tough to name. 30 receivers we actually feel good about. So wide receiver 29 Romeo Dobs going up against the Jets.
36:01absolute dud last week in a game where Drake May was exceptional in pretty much everyone except Dobs was doing good stuff on the field. He did get close
36:09though and he did go for 58 yards and two touchdowns the previous week. So just defense has been good this year.
36:14Aaron Glenn's done some good things.
36:15They run a ton of man coverage though and I would like to think some of Do's route running ability could shine in
36:20this spot. So boom and bust wide receiver three for me as long as AJ Brown sideline. I think we could see a
36:25boom here after that unfortunate bust.
36:28Wide receiver 30. I'm going Keon Coleman against the Raiders guys. Again, it didn't exactly work out the way maybe you were hoping for without DJ Moore in
36:34the picture, but Josh Allen threw the ball 19 times. Only seven of them went to wide receivers. Keon got a touchdown.
36:41Got a nice little pick there for a touchdown. I get it. Wasn't exactly the most impressive one in the world, but
36:47he's posted season best. 78% 82% route rates during his last two games. This is another game we're expecting plenty of points. Week high 53.5 point game total.
36:57Raiders secondary. Speaking of Drake man, the Patriots, zero answers for those guys last week. I think we get a nice bounceback game game here from
37:04Keenan. If I had to guess, 60 plus yards and a touchdown. Key question though, I mentioned it for the Colts. I actually
37:09want to try to quantify again the catchable ball rate when teams are actually trying to throw down field. So 20 plus yard area targets and then was
37:16it the catchable pass or was it not? Got the full leaderboard on the screen for you guys. Meow. But yeah, five offenses
37:22with a catchable deep ball rate over 60%. Falcons number one. Shout out to Michael Penn. Jets number two, Chiefs number three, 49ers, and the Cowboys
37:31rounding out the top five there.
37:32Meanwhile, the bottom five offenses, just five groups under 35% with his catchable target rate. Chargers, Titans, Cardinals, Dolphins, and the Colts.
37:41Yikes. Already talked through some of Daniel Jones's struggles, but yeah, this Cardinals offense, guys, it's like the least explosive in the league in rushing
37:49and passing. Hey, the full PPR numbers for Trey McBride and Michael Wilson look great. And Jacobe Brassette usually winds up getting across the finish line,
37:56too. Hopefully they can keep that going again. Rams, not an easy matchup, man.
38:01Not an easy matchup. Moving on though, tier number four, we got meh wide receiver threes let off by the most meh
38:07wide receiver three of them all. That is Xavier Worthy going against the Chargers. This does assume that Rashid Rice with the hamstring injury will be
38:14joining Taekwon Thornton on the sideline. So that just leaves Cyrus Allen and Jaylen Royals out there. Would it be the most surprising thing if they
38:21end up just being better and Xavier Worthy? It would not be. We also got Justin Watson coming back. White Lightning out here, under receptions,
38:29over receiving yards type of player.
38:32The reason I can't get more behind Worthy who has, to be fair, first two weeks of the year were just atrocious.
38:40He has caught six of his last nine targets for 90 yards. All right, very low bar, but we're at least clearing it
38:45here recently. I just think the Chiefs are going to try to control his game on the ground. Week oneesque mindset.
38:52They're big favorites against the Chargers offense that has no pulse at the moment. We got Kenneth Walker. We got EMTT Johnson. Well rested coming off
39:00the buy.
39:03I'm just not confident Worthy gets forcefed targets. Maybe it's Kelsey.
39:07Maybe it's Noah Gray. Maybe it is going to be the other wide receivers coming up. Wide receiver 31. I'm putting them
39:13in the flex in a couple of these guys I don't feel great about. Chargers have been pretty good against the past two.
39:18They've held the Bills, Seahawks, and Broncos. three teams that we thought going into the year and we've seen what the Bills certainly would be decent
39:25enough passing games. Held all three to under 175 passing yards last three weeks.
39:31Wide receiver 32 Roma Dunce guys. So he's gained at least 40 yards in every game this season. He's just not doing
39:37much. I went to a college in Chicago back in the day. So all my best friends are basically Chicago sports fans. in
39:43the group chat. One of my buddies brought up the point like, "Can Rome just make something hard happen at any point? Like, can he do something that's
39:51not just a layup?" That's how it feels watching him, man.
39:55It hasn't been easy for him. They haven't made it easy for him to be fair.
40:01He has the sixth highest average route depth among 96 qualified receivers this year. You know, the second, Marvin Harrison Jr.
40:10Career numbers. Roma Dunes 49.1 receiving yards per game. Marvin Harrison Jr. 47.8.
40:17Roma Dunay 14.5 yards per catch. 7.6 yards per target. Marv 14.6 yards per catch. 7.8 yards per target. Marv's got a few more touchdowns and one less game.
40:28Adun's got a few more catches, few more yards. They're almost identical numbers, guys. They're being used the same way right now. I don't think the Bears are
40:36making life super easy for Rome. It is wild to me though and I get it. Marv had a lot more Ohio State fanboys like me
40:46hyping him up.
40:49He's got the last name. You want more out of your top 10 pick. Whether your name's Marvin Harrison Jr. A Roma dudes
40:54at some point, man. Need to see a little more here. So, Boomer bust wide receiver three. Maybe with Caleb back against a
41:00banged up Falcons secondary. We get a boom. Wide receiver 33. Speaking of them Buckeyes, Amecha Iabuka cleared 12 PPR points, baby. We got 17.2
41:10thanks to a rushing touchdown. I don't think that's going to happen that much honest the Cowboys. A little bit disappointing as has been the targets man last two
41:21weeks with Jaylen Johnson under center.
41:22Iuka leads the way in targets but it's 13 compared to 10 and 10 for Chris Goblin and Kate Oton.
41:29Now the Amecha Ipuka stuff seems a little effed up you know in hindsight.
41:33So Steelers fifth fewest PPR points per game allowed the position. Maybe I can get going again later when Baker's back.
41:39I'm not overly counting on it this week.
41:41Wide receiver with 34, Khal Shakur mentioned that Raiders defense a little more susceptible to slots. It's just so tough to know with with Cleo, man. He's
41:48had 80 plus yards in back-to-back weeks thanks in large part to 50-yard trunk plays that happened because this dude is an absolute beast after the catch. Just
41:55tough to overly rely on that. So, look, we don't know what's going to happen here. I don't think DJ Moore is going to
42:00be back. They kind of they broke his streak at this point of, you know, consecutive games played. They do have a
42:05week seven buy if I'm not mistaken. So, let him get healthy. Go win out with your run game this week, but you know,
42:11it is a good matchup on paper.
42:14Another good match up on paper goes to the guy on the other sideline. Trey Tucker against the Bills, guys. Last three games, he's had four catches in
42:20each of them. 43, 44, and 41 yards since that week 2 blow up. It's just kind of been Brock Bowers taking over the
42:26offense. But man, I know the Raiders aren't the Rams and we're seeing these numbers inflated from that game, but 46.3 PPR points per game being scored by
42:35opposing wide receivers against the Bills this season. Even if you consider Brock Bower is basically a wide receiver, you know, give him 30. There's
42:43still room for Trey Tucker to get going a little bit. Boomer bust wide receiver three this week. Wide receiver 36. I'm
42:49going with Lab Makoni. Harbaugh say he's going to practice, but I think he also said that last week and he just didn't
42:53practice all week. It's just so tough, man. The matchup's a nightmare against the Chiefs. Toughest defense against wide receivers. I have no confidence in
43:01the O line keeping Herbert upright enough to find McConi. And then coming off the rib injury in week one and the
43:07foot injury that got reagravated and they had him active but didn't play at all.
43:14If we knew McConi was totally healthy in his wide open offense, I could put him at the top of the tier.
43:24I still want to feel great about it, but you know, Makoni versus Burden versus Metaf versus Tate versus Vle. Like, I couldn't see
43:31myself prioritizing Manki. It's just this injury risk and it's the risk of him going out there and then it's finding out after the game like, oh
43:38yeah, Chargers, yeah, they just didn't want to put too much on Lad's plate.
43:42This is another team that has a week seven buy. They're coming hot and heavy.
43:46I'm going to do everything in my power to wait a week on Lad. Let them rest up.
43:51Hopefully, we'll have a nice second half of the season.
43:54Key question now, guys. What offenses does Vegas expect to be scoring the least the most points? I talk about implied team totals a lot here because
44:01it's actually Vegas giving insight into who they believe will be the highest scoring offenses during any given week.
44:05So, we can calculate all these by looking at every game spread and overunder and assigning out basically the implied scores that Vegas is giving
44:12out there. So, got the whole chart on here for you guys. But yes, in first place with ease by over three points, we
44:18do have the Rams implied to score over 33 against the Cardinals this week.
44:22Other teams implied to have all sorts of success on offense. Bills, 49ers, Packers, Bears, Patriots, Cowboys, even the Colts going up against the Titans.
44:30Basically a Jonathan Taylor stat. Then also the Chiefs standing out very well.
44:34Raiders also getting a bump in the top 10 thanks to that Bills matchup.
44:38Falcons, Ravens, Saints, and Jaguars.
44:41Looks like I wrote Favens on the sheet.
44:43That's not great. We'll watch the film and get better. Rounding out the top 14 offense expect to have some more trouble, guys. Sub 20 point implied
44:50totals. We do have the Eagles and Cardinals right next to each other. Also have the Broncos, Buccaneers, Browns, Titans, Jets, and then dead ass last,
45:00the Los Angeles Chargers. This is rock bottom. Literally, they're on the bottom of the chart. Buccaneers, Browns, Titans, Jets. Vegas is saying, "Yeah,
45:10we'll take them to score more points than the Chargers this week. I need a drink." But you know what I don't need?
45:17I don't need any slack. I don't need any flack, I should say. You know what I need? I need Fantasy Genius. That's what
45:23I'm trying to say here. Because guys, guess what? Being in a long-term fantasy league, it's not just about the competition. It's about the history. And
45:28Fantasy Genius keeps all the history for you. All you have to do is connect your league and boom, you have access to
45:33every story and piece of analytics tailored to your league. I'm talking about being able to access past records, past situations where we're looking at,
45:40hey, your idiot league mate Mikey keeps drafting T. Higgins every year.
45:44Sometimes it worked out, sometimes it didn't. You can hang this over their head. One year they didn't get them. And also very cool stuff for Fantasy Genius.
45:50All right, we have a situation where they have so much cool data. A lot of a courtesy of our other friends at Sleeper
45:55that we can get these cool analytics.
45:57All right, looking at teams now, all right, from last season on Sleeper teams who had a 5-0 record to start the
46:03fantasy season. They finished in the playoffs 95% of the time and they won their championship 22% of the time. That said, if you're one and four, god forbid
46:11you're 0 and five, you're not dead just yet, guys. One in four teams still made the playoffs over 15% of the time last

46:58All right, guys, if you couldn't tell, the uh pickings get pretty slim here at wide receiver in a hurry, but we're
47:04still saying there's kind of a chance here in tier five. Starting off with wide receiver 37, Juan Dale Robinson. I mentioned the Colts earlier. They are a
47:11defense that we've seen be a little more susceptible to slot receivers. And that is Juan Dale's Will Forte. So PPR wide
47:17receiver 17, 41, and 28 finishes over the last three weeks. I think he stays, you know, as hot as Juan Dale Robinson
47:24can stay. Uh, as hot as Juan Dale Robinson can stay. There we go. Wide receiver three for me on the week. Wide
47:31receiver 38. I got Kendrick Borne. Guys, this one kind of cracked me up because I assumed Kendrick Bourne would just kind of be taking the sacrificial role
47:40from Marvin Harrison Jr. No, that was actually basically Jaylen Brooks. The Cardinals have decided to make life easy for Kendrick Bourne. Try to get
47:4831-year-old Kendrick Bourne feeling comfortable on the offense, feeling good in the offense. Mentioned Marv, he has the position second highest average
47:56route depth this year at 12.3. Borne at 6.7 is the fourth lowest mark in the league, man. And it was even lower than
48:04usual at 4.6 yards in week five. They're using Kendrick Bourne closer to line scrimmage. And accordingly, I think him catching five passes for 80 balls last
48:13week. I don't know if we'll get to 80 every week, but it does give me confidence in being a bit of a PPR cheat
48:18code scam sort of option as long as the Cardinals keep wanting to keep their front on the gas and throw the football
48:23all over the yard. So, I think it'll be an ugly day for Kendrick Borne. The Cardinals offense. Wouldn't be surprised if he picks up 11 or 12 fantasy points
48:30though. Wide receiver 39. I got Jacobe Myers. He's only gained more than 40 yards once this season, but he is always
48:36viable to score a touchdown. And again, this Jaguars Houston game is one that I do think has surprise people in terms of
48:41the total points being scored. RC 40, we got Deario, super Deario Douglas doing his thing coming off the two touchdown effort. Why isn't he higher after that?
48:50Because the Patriots won't give my mans a full-time role. Same thing with Kyle Williams. But yeah, Deario Douglas 55% route rate last week. Just tough to feel
48:57too good about that. Had to get Ethan Chisum going more. So, you know, you can do worse than actually throwing darts to
49:03any Patriots pass catchers as long as Drake May is cooking like this. Just realize again in this offense right now Stevenson still the only guy other than
49:11Drake May of course that you really should be trying to absolutely jam in a lineups of all shapes and sizes. Wide
49:17receiver 41. I got Brandon Cooks who plays for the 49ers in case you guys didn't know. Actually caught a touchdown last week. He's similarly a next man up
49:24after Dbo [ __ ] went down. Great matchup for an offense that we know can score 30 points whenever they want against the
49:29Commanders on Monday Night Football.
49:31Speaking of Monday Night Football, we got Antonio Williams coming in as my wide receiver 42. Again, not the easiest match ups against the 49ers would have
49:37been cooler to get 31 more than 31 yards I should say with Stefon Dig sideline last week, but still do believe in the
49:44rookie and I think given a bigger sample with Jaden Daniels, the boom will eventually come. Wide receiver 43, Dante Wix going up against the banged up
49:51Panthers secondary. If we do not see Devonte Smith back in the picture, I could get Wix probably up to about wide receiver 30,
50:02wide receiver 31. I think him verse Keon Coleman is pretty close. Him versus Xavier Worthy is pretty close.
50:09I don't think Wix is overly great respectfully, you know, he's fine. I don't think Worthy is a good football player either. And that's like Mahomes
50:20versus Jaylen Herds. It's a better matchup for for Wix. I get it. Wide receiver 43 for right now. Wide receiver 44. I got Courtland Sun going against
50:27Seahawks. Maybe he'll try to do his best Mike Evans impression. I'm not so sure that he still has that in him. Wide
50:32receiver 45. I got Keenan Allen. ESPN's lowest rated wide receiver, but Colts have still fed him nine targets in his last two games cuz why not?
50:41Wide receiver 46, Ryan Florenoy, arguably the best wide receiver handcuff in fantasy football. And I thought about moving him even higher. It's just he's
50:48still the clear number three at best in this offense, but damn, it's a really good offense. WC 47, Chris Godwin against the Steelers yet to score a
50:56touchdown or gain 50 yards in a game this season. WC 48, Mai Lemon, unfortunately ditto on that one. I have at least seen 13 targets over the last
51:03two games, though. So, look, tough to keep some dead weight like this on your bench, but he is a really talented guy,
51:10man. I'd like to see think at some point it is a new offense. Jaylen Hurst company can pick it up. But bringing
51:17Devonte Smith back, clock's ticking on ML. Key question here. I want to look at some of the more manheavy defenses real
51:24quick. All right, because every single defense in the league statistically plays more zone covers than man.
51:29However, we still do have six squads out there that are saying one-on-one matchups. That's how we're going to live. And they have actually run man
51:36coverage on more than 25% of their snaps this season. So, Bengals are on buy, but that still leaves us with five teams.
51:42The Browns have run man coverage on a league high 44% of their snaps. They're facing the Ravens. You don't need much
51:48more reason to play Zay Flowers, but he does have a 32% targets per run rate.
51:53And Mark Andrews getting fed verse man coverage this year. I'm not a strong enough man to play him after that disaster of a Sunday night performance,
52:01but maybe you're a stronger man than me.
52:03Bears going up against the Falcons. They force feed Drake London versus man alike. Nothing to see here. Colts going up against the Titans.
52:10Cornell Tate 26% targets per route running against man. That's a very high number. And Wondale Robinson's right there at 25% as well. I originally
52:17looked at this matchup when I saw how much man covers the Colts for running. I was like, "Ah, maybe that's not so good
52:22for Wale." But at least this year, Cam Ward hasn't shot away from still getting him the ball in those spots. Patriots
52:27going up against the Jets. Garrett Wilson like Drake London getting forcefed against man. And the last interesting one, guys, was the Giants,
52:33right? They do run man coverage on 28% of their snaps out there. They're facing the Saints. We have actually seen Noah
52:41Fant on a small sample, but also Jawan Johnson carry higher target per hour run numbers than Chris and Devon this year.
52:48So that one surprised me. And I would say again seeing these numbers in a fairly small sample because as much as
52:54defenses that run a bunch of man accordingly are per route data is a little bit limited as well.
53:00Jawan Johnson though 25% targets per out run against man a lot of Van Bailey are down to 20%. So, my two biggest
53:07takeaways here is really expecting a nice bounceback from Jawan Johnson and then also Juan Dale Robinson, you know, our stinky wide receiver three of the
53:15week. Wide receivers, I should say tier six. Yikes. Wide receiver 50 through wide receiver 60, Marvin Harrison Jr., Rashad Baitman, Darnell Mooney, Rashid
53:24Shahed, Jaylen Null, Jan Dodson, Khalif Raymond, Kyle Williams, Jaylen Royals, Cyrus Allen, and Jerry Judy. Rounding things out here for me. Marv I think
53:34could be a boomer wide receiver three down the stretch. Maybe I'm you know that Japanese soldier who fought for 26 years after the war ended sort of
53:41situation. Right now though I just think he's going to be eased back into action.
53:44So it's tough to have any sort of confidence beyond a very very desperate wide receiver five dart. Rashad Baitman averaging a careerhigh 11.1 yards per
53:53target. Dozens of us still believe. Just tough to expect a volume as long as Dave Flowers is healthy. Darno Mooney had a
53:58ton of unrealized air yards last week.
54:00It is a sneaky shootout. I've seen worse long shot DFS darts. Rashid Shahed. You guys think the Seahawks would rather have Rashid Shahed or Kenneth Walker
54:08right now? Question worth asking. I think Jaylen Nol is a really good football player. It's just now you have Marv even fewer targets to go around.
54:15Jon Dodson's got 50 plus yards the past two weeks. I just don't think they're going to have the overall pass game
54:19volume. Khalif Raymond backtoback six scoreless receiving yard days after we finally trusted him. Gotta love fantasy football. Then Kyle Williams, man, he's
54:28fifth in yards per target. Dating back to week one of last season, he's first in yards per catch. The only guys ahead
54:34of him in yards per target, Taekquin Thornton, Alec Pierce, Christian Watson, and JSN. He's only got 30 targets. I know it's a stat that's going to lend
54:41itself to someone like Kyle Williams, who's being asked to stretch the field, but he can STRETCH THE FIELD. WHY NOT DO
54:46it more? See what happens. 37% route rate last week.
54:52Nothing against Effton Chisum, but man, why isn't Kyle Williams the guy making life easier for Hunter Henry Dobs, Deario Douglas, I don't know. Love Kyle
55:04Williams. Maybe one day he'll get the routes. Wide receiver 58 again. Jay Royals, Cyrus Allen after him. So, they both flashed with their opportunities in
55:11August. I am team Royals over Cyrus Allen. I think Royals look like the better receiver for parts of the preseason. And I know there was more
55:18hype around Cyrus with some of the practice clips and stuff like that, but the other thing and it's the unofficial death chart.
55:26Royals is the direct backup to Rashid Rice per the Chiefs. Okay, I think he's the one more likely to get spammed with
55:33that underneath stuff. Not saying Cyrus couldn't get some as well, but if I had to guess who's be running more routes,
55:39who's be getting more targets, I'd say Jaylen Royals. And accordingly, I try to pick him up in my 32 team fantasy
55:44football league. We'll see how the wafer wire goes. Then Marc 60 Jerry Judy showcase game trade incoming. We got the note that the Browns were apparently
55:53looking for a third or a fourth round pick for Judy. I'm just happy that they're apparently like open to the idea
55:58of trading him because I was wondering if the cap circumstances were going to be too much of an issue there. Maybe the
56:03cap is going to be a problem here. But I will say Jerry Judy guys, I know I've been talking a lot about Jerry Judy this year
56:10has not gone well. Shout out to my guy Jake Culp, Jake Culp9 on uh the old Twitter sphere. Did some stuff looking at separation score and
56:20then catchable targets. Jerry Judy, he's in the portion of the graph with guys like Josh DS, Rashad Baitman, Jordan Addison, all my favorite freaking
56:30players. More separation than your average guy. Fear of catchable targets.
56:34Is some of that working with bad quarterbacks? Being asked to work downfield a lot. You got Josh Downs in there as well. The answer is yes. But I
56:42continue to believe, guys, I've seen what I've seen this year and hasn't been beautiful. I'm man enough to admit that bad players don't accidentally get 20
56:51don't accidentally get 1,200 receiving yards. It just doesn't happen. All right, but just my two cents. Can we get Judy on the Chiefs already, please? Even
57:00the Chargers.
57:02Anyone anywhere. What if we got him the Giants?
57:07Yeah.
57:08Get Jamus a legit number two wide receiver. A number two wide receiver.
57:12I'm just saying. Anyway guys, I won't bore you or tear you down with any more Jerry Jury talk. I appreciate you tuning
57:18in though. If you like the video, please like the video. Hit that subscribe button always helps as well. I'll be back with tight end rankings and tears.
57:24Thursday I'm going to the Cleveland Guardians playoff game. Looking forward to that ALCS baseball action. They moved it up to 100 p.m. 24 hours before
57:32freaking start time because of weather.
57:34Probably had a really good reason for doing it. But man, what we doing? MLB.
57:38This is lame. Yeah, I'll be back from that on Friday. Injury stuff with my guy Billy. Then we're into the weekend.
57:46Hosted, Indiana. Woo. Hectic time in the Hardest household this week, baby. But anyway, appreciate you guys tuning in.
57:51I'm Harris. Until next time, take care everybody.
