Aaron Rodgers

PositiveValue22:03

Ian Hartitz ranks Aaron Rodgers as QB16, highlighting his consistency with three straight games of three-plus passing touchdowns. Rodgers is a recommended streaming option due to a favorable upcoming schedule against the Buccaneers, Saints, and Browns before his Week 9 bye, and he is expected to have plenty of time to throw based on pressure rate metrics.

Insight page

Bo Nix

NegativeProjection32:06

Ian Hartitz ranks Bo Nix as QB26 for Week 6 against the Seahawks, citing poor fantasy performance and a lack of rushing upside (averaging only 7 yards per game). Nix is also expected to face significant pressure, and Hartitz notes that two of his five worst fantasy performances have occurred within his first 39 starts. Additionally, Nix ranks 31st in EPA per play in both the first and second halves of games.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection0:38

Ian Hartitz ranks Brock Purdy as the QB2 for the week, citing his high fantasy points per game average and a favorable matchup against the Washington Commanders, who are the second-worst defense in fantasy points allowed to the position.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

PositiveProjection23:24

Ian Hartitz ranks C.J. Stroud as QB11, viewing him as a strong play in a potential shootout against the Jaguars, whose pass defense is considered potentially fraudulent. Stroud benefits from a passing-heavy game plan, especially with David Montgomery absent, and faces a defense that has historically been pulverized by Nico Collins.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeProjection25:28

Ian Hartitz ranks Caleb Williams as QB12 due to health concerns; if 100% healthy, he would be ranked as a top-6 quarterback given his elite rushing speed and backyard playstyle. Hartitz compares his reliance on scrambling to Lamar Jackson, noting that physical limitations can significantly impact his fantasy production.

Insight page

Cyrus Allen

NegativeDepth Chart21:42

Cyrus Allen is mentioned as a potential depth receiver who could help fill the void left by injured Chiefs pass catchers.

Insight page

Daniel Jones

NegativeProjection8:56

Ian Hartitz ranks Daniel Jones as QB22 for Week 6 against the Titans. While Jones is expected to have time to throw based on pressure rate metrics, Hartitz notes that his previous nine yards per attempt performance against the Titans is likely an outlier rather than a new norm.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveProjection3:01

Ian Hartitz ranks Drake Maye as the QB4, noting his recent surge to first in EPA per drop back over weeks four and five. He highlights a favorable upcoming schedule including the Jets, Bears, Dolphins, Packers, and Lions.

Insight page

Geno Smith

NegativeProjection33:32

Ian Hartitz ranks Geno Smith as QB24, citing recent fantasy finishes of QB29, QB31, and QB24. Hartitz expresses concern over Smith's declining rushing production and age, though he still considers him a preferable start over Justin Herbert.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeUsage23:42

Ja'Marr Chase is used as a benchmark for the Jaguars' defensive struggles, noting they allowed 428 passing yards to the Bengals despite Chase playing only 15 snaps in that game.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

NegativeProjection22:47

Ian Hartitz ranks Jacoby Brissett as QB17, noting that while he has posted top-five fantasy finishes, he is dead last in the league in yards per attempt and relies heavily on garbage-time volume.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

NegativeDepth Chart12:07

Ian Hartitz notes that the Panthers are expected to get Jaylen Coker back, which serves as a positive development for the team's passing game context.

Insight page

Jalen Royals

NegativeDepth Chart21:42

Jaylen Royals is mentioned as a potential depth receiver who could help fill the void left by injured Chiefs pass catchers.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

PositiveProjection8:48

Ian Hartitz ranks Jameis Winston as QB14, highlighting his recent production and recommending him as a one-week streaming stop-gap. While noting the Saints' poor defense and potential for catch-up game scripts, Hartitz views him as a beneficial asset for teammates Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveProjection12:28

Ian Hartitz ranks Jayden Daniels as a top-eight quarterback, admitting he previously undervalued him. Daniels is one of only two quarterbacks in the Super Bowl era to average over 50 rushing yards per game for his career, placing him in the same tier as Lamar Jackson. He has over 200 rushing yards this season and demonstrated elite playmaking with two touchdown runs of 25+ yards in a single game, a feat not seen since Michael Vick. Despite a lower QB27 ranking for the specific matchup against the Steelers, Hartitz remains open to revising his stance if Daniels performs well.

Insight page

Jordan Love

PositiveProjection0:54

Ian Hartitz ranks Jordan Love as the QB3 and awards him the 'gold medal' for the best on-paper matchup of the week against the Cowboys. Hartitz notes that the Cowboys' pass defense is statistically the worst in the league in EPA per drop back, providing a massive boost for Love's fantasy outlook.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveUsage0:22

Ian Hartitz ranks Josh Allen as the QB1 for the week, highlighting his elite production with three games of 30+ fantasy points this season. Allen is currently the number one ranked quarterback in rushing yards at the position, serving as the primary benchmark for elite rushing production after recently surpassing 200 rushing yards in a game.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

PositiveValue8:56

Ian Hartitz ranks Kirk Cousins as QB15, though he admits the ranking feels low and is considering moving him higher. Cousins is recommended as the most sensible streaming option for the next month due to a favorable schedule against the Bills, Rams, Jets, and 49ers, despite concerns regarding limited wide receiver depth.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveProjection15:38

Ian Hartitz identifies Lamar Jackson as the gold standard for rushing quarterbacks, noting he is the only other player in the Super Bowl era to average over 50 rushing yards per game for his career. He is used as the benchmark for elite rushing ability when evaluating other mobile quarterbacks.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveRole24:10

Marvin Harrison Jr. is acknowledged as a very good prospect and the clear number two receiver alongside Nico Collins.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

PositiveProjection4:01

Ian Hartitz ranks Matthew Stafford as the QB6, citing his consistent 300-yard performances and league-high volume (216 pass attempts). While touchdown regression has occurred, Stafford remains a high-floor play due to an aggressive passing approach and a defense that facilitates high-scoring game scripts. He is also noted as having a favorable Week 6 matchup with expected time to throw.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

PositiveProjection32:20

Ian Hartitz ranks Michael Penix Jr. as QB20 for Week 6, noting that if he starts, the team is committed to his development and unlikely to bench him unless injured. Hartitz expects a run-heavy game plan to protect him from hits, though he acknowledges Penix's play style is influenced by his history of knee injuries.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

NegativeProjection20:05

Patrick Mahomes is ranked as QB10. Ian Hartitz notes concerns regarding his career-low rushing production (10 yards per game) and the loss of key receivers Rashee Rice and Taekwon Thornton. Despite these factors, Mahomes has maintained strong passing efficiency metrics, suggesting he may sustain production despite the depleted receiving corps.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeInjury20:27

Rashee Rice is not expected to play this week due to a hamstring injury.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeUsage42:15

Ian Hartitz highlights concerns regarding Saquon Barkley's role in short-yardage situations, noting that the Eagles have refused to give him the ball on fourth-and-one, opting for Will Shipley instead.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveProjection15:51

Trevor Lawrence is ranked as QB9. Ian Hartitz argues that Lawrence's lack of fantasy success is due to low volume rather than poor play, and expects a potential shootout against Houston given the team's historical tendency to increase dropback rates against this specific opponent.

0:00is a great day to break down my week six fantasy football quarterback rankings.
0:04Going to be going one through 28, dividing them up into tiers. And after we get through any given tier, going to
0:09be breaking down a bigger picture question. Things like who has the best on paper matchups this week, biggest potential issues in the trenches when it
0:15comes to pressure, best guys to go ahead and be targeting during byweeks, all that and much, much more. So, appreciate you guys tuning in. And with that, let's
0:22get after it with the QB1 Josh Allen.
0:25Guys, he has three games this season with 30 plus fantasy points. The rest of the league combined, at least at the
0:30quarterback position, only has five. So yeah, Josh Allen, QB1 against the Raiders, hot take there. Similar hot take as QB2. Brock Pury, the QB2 in
0:40fantasy points per game, going up against the second worst defense in fantasy points per game, allowed the position in the Washington Commanders.
0:46So yeah, I'm riding with Brock Pury as my QB2. Shouldn't be too controversial there. Things get a little interesting after this. All right, QB3. Give me
0:54Jordan Love going up against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Okay, looking like an absolute awesome fantasy friendly game environment. We are
1:01talking about the second highest game total of the week here. Only Bills Raiders has more. And honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if we wind up
1:08seeing those flip-flop by the time things get settled. But yeah, Jordan Love really woke up in a major way in week five against a Bears defense that
1:16we thought could be okay, but turns out when Love, Laflur, Christian Watson, and Matthew Golden are cooking. Hey, okay isn't good enough to slow down these
1:24guys. And we certainly know the Cowboys are pretty freaking far from okay. Fun stat I found here, guys. Again, King Josh Allen, we all know he's the best
1:32quarterback in the NFL when it comes probably to real life, too, but definitely fantasy. Since the beginning of last season, the number one
1:38quarterback in fantasy points per game is Josh Allen. The number two quarterback in fantasy points per game is whoever has been playing the Cowboys.
1:46That's how big of a boost we've seen.
1:47And I fully expect Jordan Love & Company to be good enough to take advantage of Don Plan and the NFL's worst pass
1:53defense. They're literally worse in EPA per drop back than they were last season. I can't believe it. QB4, I got Drake May going up against the New York
2:01Jets, everybody. He was 28th in EPA per drop back during the first three weeks of the season. And now he is first in
2:08weeks four and five. We just saw Drake Mayack up 65.6 fantasy points over these past two weeks. That's his highest twoame stretch ever. All right. His
2:18second highest mark last season was only 56. That was in week 16 17 when he was winning people fantasy football championships. So I fully do think Drake
2:26May is back. His film was absolutely phenomenal looking against the Raiders and yeah they didn't get a ton of pressure on him and you know shout out
2:33Josh McDaniels revenge game certainly within his bag for that one. But the question is like how much of it was facing a tough schedule. All right
2:41because we saw it Seahawks, Steelers, Jaguars start the year and then all of a sudden he's able to feast on the Bills
2:46and Raiders again. Well, does the schedule matter? It might. It probably does to some extent for every quarterback out there. But guess what?
2:51We'll worry about that again with Drake May in o uh week 12 because for the next upcoming stretch, the Patriots get the
2:57Jets, the Bears, the Dolphins, the Packers, and the Lions before their week 11 buy. Wheels up for Drake May 25. I
3:05got Dak Prescott going up against a Michael Parson's less Green Bay Packers defense that, you know, did a good job against Tyson Bean and Case Keenum last
3:13week. But if you do look at this Packers defense this season, they face Kyler Murray for 11 snaps. Carson Wentz, Gino
3:19Smith, Michael Pennix, Jaylen Daniels, Tabag, and then Case Keenum. Yeah, this is a top five offense in Dallas. They just woke up George Pickkins. And given
3:28the overall game environment, yes, I am rolling with Dak Prescott as a top five fantasy QB.
3:34QB6, I got Matthew Stafford. that original jet lag, you know, game in Australia seems like forever ago because this dude has just been ripping off 300
3:41plus yard performances ever since with Puka, with Devonte Adams, and with a defense that just has not been quite good enough to keep them out of these
3:49back and forth or even comeback mode fueled shootouts here. So again, two and three Rams. Yikes. But, you know, we're still seeing plenty of production
3:57through the air here. So, Cardinals defense very, very bad that we're going to get to in a second. And last season
4:01in these matchups, we saw Stafford go for 281 yards and three touchdowns. 259 yards and four touchdowns. So whenever we got Adams and Puka healthy guys,
4:10McVey wanting to keep his foot on the gas in the passing game, that's when we're feeling good about Matthew Stafford. So yeah, and honestly, even
4:16all these cries about touchdown regression, it is one of those things because this is that was a regular offseason storyline. It was like you
4:23look at Stafford last year and you know, he has regressed. He's gone from 7.7% passing touchdown rate all the way down
4:28to 4.2. But when you still lead the league in passing yards and you're still throwing as much as he is, league high
4:34216 pass attempts, you know, a little bit lesser touchdown ray is being made up for more so by volume as long as that
4:41defense again stays more meh as opposed to great. Key question for this tier, guys, I want to take a look at the
4:47defenses around the league and see which groups we really should be targeting for our passing game. So, got a handy dandy
4:53chart from rbsmd.com.
4:56RBs don't matter. RBSDM. It's a free website. They have a bunch of EPA stuff.
5:01Ben Baldwin and the gang really do hook you guys up. So certainly invite you to check that out. And here is their
5:06handydandy defensive chart. So in our bottom left, we have the worst defenses in the league. The Cowboys obviously Bills and the Detroit Lions standing out
5:14as pretty much the bottom three groups.
5:15Also though, particularly in terms of the passing game, we see the Cardinals, the Dolphins, the Titans, and the Commanders, as well as the New Orleans
5:22Saints sticking out as groups that we should be targeting. So overall best on paper matchups of this week I would say
5:28it's Brock Pury against the Commanders, Jordan Love against the Cowboys, Matthew Stafford against the Cardinals, Jameus Winston against the Saints, Kirk Ochain
5:36Cousins against the Bills, and Daniel Jones against the Titans. So I just list those in order of again how I have them
5:42ranked. But yeah, I will give the gold medal for best on paper matchup to Jordan Love against the Loly Cowboys.
5:48Hey guys, we'll be back to our quarterbacks here in just a quick second. But I want to give a shout out
5:52to our friends over at Sling First because if you guys haven't noticed, football season is in full swing. And if you're trying to catch all the games, it
6:00is time to stream smart with Sling Select. Guess what? In the year 2026, you don't need hundreds of channels of background noise to follow your team.
6:07Sling Select actually gives you essential live NFL coverage, game day breakdowns, and top sports channels without the bloated package. Plus, Sling
6:15Select puts you, a scholar, in complete control. When you're on the go or when the season ends, you can pause your
6:20subscription anytime with zero penalties and keep watching hundreds of free channels. LISTEN, STOP. STOP IT. STOP OVERPAYING for live TV. Stream Smart the
6:29Season with Sling Select. Head to slim.com today to get started. You can find a link to our friends over at slim.com in description. Again, head to
6:37sling.com today. Get started. Shout out to our friends over at Slim. Tier two, guys. I got QB1s to feel pretty pretty
6:43pretty good about. Okay, let off by someone returning from buy here. QB7 Bryce Young. Last time we saw him arguably playing the best 60 minutes of
6:51his career against the Lions on Sunday Night Football. Maybe I'm just buying too much in the prime time stuff about it. And obviously the Lions do not have
6:57what anyone would consider a good defense. But man, Bryce Young this year, guys, 361 yards, 287, 291, and most recently 329. He only cleared 275
7:09passing yards in four of his first 47 career games and he's already got four this season. So he's truly playing a
7:16position at a different level. When you look at the I think changes Brad Izzich has made in terms of some of the pre-nap
7:21motion and really keeping the foot on the gas when it comes to drop back rate over expected. Good things are going on
7:27in Carolina. They should be getting Jaylen Coker back. And as much as the Eagles aren't exactly a great on paper matchup, I mean, if I would have kept
7:34going just a little bit more in our previous discussion about the best matchups for QBs, you see the Eagles be a bottom 10 group in both EPA allowed
7:40per dropback and for our purposes, fantasy points per game allowed the position. So, I'm sticking with the hot hand and for the 2026 season that has
7:48been Bryce Young. QB8, I'm going with Jaden Daniels. Hand up. I was silly last week for ranking him as low as I did
7:55because apparently Jaden Daniels doesn't care if he's got a robotic left arm.
7:59That man's gonna continue doing what he was put on his plan to do, and that is rack up rushing yards. Man, I think he's
8:06second now in rushing yards after Josh Allen decided to go for, you know, over 200. The perils of writing my Monday or
8:12writing my quarterback article as the Monday Night Football game is going on.
8:17But dang it, sometimes guys, you got to just work really hard, you know, cover fantasy football and stuff. Josh Allen now number one in rushing yards at the
8:27position, but Jaden Daniels, one of only two quarterbacks with 200 plus rushing yards there. So, still pretty good. He was the first guy since Mike freaking
8:34Vic, I believe, to have two touchdown runs of 25 plus yards in the same game.
8:39So, Daniels looked healthy out there.
8:41The question is just how long this is going to be keeping on. I will say though, very good sign. I mean, we got
8:4732.3 fantasy points from Daniels on Sunday. That was his first time in more than 21 since his magical rookie season.
8:54That again seems like it's getting further and further away in the rearview mirror at certain points. So, I am still concerned
9:01about how many of Jaden Daniel's dropbacks are turning into sacks or scrambles, guys. Because 23.6% of those dropbacks so far this year have turned
9:10into sacks and scrambles. A mark that is only behind Jaylen Daniels. As if you didn't know, we live in the simulation,
9:16man. Now you do. Jaylen and Jaden Daniels had the highest percentage of dropbacks with scrambling and sacks happening. Crazy. But you know what? End
9:24of the day, it's a tougher matchup against the 49ers. We saw the Giants allow some big-time scrambling holes. I get it. This is one of two quarterbacks
9:33in the Super Bowl era, averaging 50 plus rushing yards per game for his career.
9:38And the other one's Lamar Jackson. Okay, that's who Jaden Daniels is in terms of what he can do on the ground. Prime for
9:43prime, peak for peak. Yeah, give me Lamar. But guess what? Jaden Daniels is actually in that conversation and accordingly he's back in my top eight.
9:51QB9 I'm going Trevor Lawrence here guys and it gets tricky around this part. If you honestly want to prefer someone like
9:57a Jameus Winston, like a Kirk Cousins, people who I would say this season have been playing worse real life football, but have had certain booms in fantasy
10:06and better matchups that have allowed them to climb the ranks for in our funny game. I get it. When I'm not completely
10:13though terrified of a matchup, which to be fair, the Texans, unless they're facing Cam Warden company, haven't exactly earned that benefit of the doubt
10:20this year. I usually prefer to side with the tiebreaker of who's the better real life quarterback, and that's been TA by
10:26a mile this year, guys. Like, he has been doing amazing things through the air. The reason why we haven't been getting a ton of fantasy success though
10:33is just the rushing. And I'm not convinced that's going to continue to stay that way. I do think it could be
10:37more of a situation of again a perplexing down five weeks than necessarily a sign of things to come.
10:42But yeah, guys, I mean, we're talking about 11.8 rushing yards per game. That is a career low mark for Taw and zero
10:48rushing touchdowns one season after he had nine. So, I don't think any of us expected nine more rushing touchdowns from Taw. But here's my main reason for
10:56optimism with Trevor Lawrence. The Jaguars run blocking hasn't been great.
11:01I don't know that they're going to continue trying to run into a brick wall against Houston. And we saw this kind of
11:07play out last season. Okay, this season Jacksonville's been able to play with a ton of leads and accordingly they're 31st in overall dropback rate, but
11:16they're 20th in drop back rate over expected. So they've really been running a lot more because of the way these game
11:21scripts have been setting up. When you look at their two matchups against Houston last year, I do believe Liam Cohen is one of these coaches who is
11:27very smart and he has game planning specifically for his opponent. They were top five in drop back rate over expected plus 8% both times last season when they
11:36played the Texans minus 2% this season.
11:39The biggest hiccup the biggest issue for Taw this year has just been volume. I think he can get it. I can see this
11:46being a sneaky shootout in London. He's been spinning the rock all year. I'm not I'm just not terrified about this Houston Texans defense guys. Derek Sting
11:55is a good corner otherwise.
11:57Keep Taw upright and let's go. So close between him and some of these other guys we'll get to. But hey, Trevor Lawrence
12:05my QB9 QB10. I got Patrick Mahomes going against the Chargers guys. Now he's been back departing like it's 2018 to 2022 in
12:13terms of these passing efficiency metrics. It was funny the 180 of emotions I have where I was kind of writing off my blur on Mahomes because I
12:20was like well Chargers are pretty good.
12:22We lost Taekquin Thordon for presumably the entire season. I know they said he maybe has a chance to get back later in
12:27the playoffs. Rasheed Rice. I'm not expecting him to play this week coming off the hamstring injury. Maybe it could happen. So I was like, man, we're taking
12:34away Rashi Rice and Taekquin Thornton here. Can I really expect Patrick Mahomes to still be keeping on keeping on? And then a voice in the back of my
12:40head was like, are you seriously giving Rasheed Rice and Taquon Thornton all the credit for Mahomes putting up the better passing numbers this year? Look,
12:47Taekquin has done really good stuff downfield, even going back to last season. and Rasheed Rice, even though he hasn't looked like the same breakout
12:54player this year, you know, still someone that's a valuable asset for a team that obviously needs plenty of them in the passing game. Would we be that
13:02shocked though if Cyrus Allen and Jaylen Royals can be 90% of receball it, you know, three or four wide
13:14receivers and give you that.
13:17The issue is if we do get 90% of that, it could be more problematic. As cool as it was watching Mahomes run for a
13:23touchdown, his first freaking drive of the season with a bigger sample, we are seeing him average a career low 10 rushing yards per game. Last year he was
13:30at 30. His career average with the Chiefs as a starter is 20. So we're not getting the rushing. It is a tougher
13:36matchup. I don't think Herbert and company are going to be able to force the Chiefs to keep their foot on the
13:40gas, but it's Patrick Mahomes and he's been balling out this year and you know it's Rice and Taekwon Thornton. I don't
13:47think they've been the engine of this offense. So, very very tough ranking for me. I'm kind of taking the middle in
13:53terms of like I could see him being the top five quarterback he's been this season or maybe given some of those
13:58factors I just talked about, maybe he's more of a mid-tier QB2. I'm settling in on QB10.
14:04QB11, I got CJ Strad, the other side of this Jaguars Texans matchup where again, if you wanted to go and just try to play
14:10a worse real life quarterback potentially in a better matchup, I would not be calling you completely nuts or anything like that. But I think this
14:17Jaguars pass defense could be a little fraudulent, guys. I mean, they gave up 428 passing yards to the Bengals who only had 15 snaps from Jamar Chase in
14:26that game. And then they actually made the Eagles passing game look operational in the first half of that game. Could have even been worse, man. Jaylen Herz
14:32hits Dantavian Wix in that 59 yard touchdown that was wide open. I'm just saying. So, I think this is a passing
14:38game with a healthy Nico Collins who has completely pulverized the Jaguars over the years by the way. I think they can
14:44move the ball. you lose David Montgomery, there's less reason to run the ball than or even pretend like you want to run the ball than ever at this
14:50point. Maybe Marvin Harrison Jr. is okay. I'm not even saying maybe he gets back to being the alleged generational prospect that, let's face it, he never
14:58wasn't a generational tool thing, but he's still a very good prospect. Now, the clear number two alongside Nico Collins, Joe's done some good things.
15:08I see a sneaky London themed shootout with CJ Shroud and T. Law going back and forth and their coaches accordingly not
15:15trying to run to a brick wall and letting their young QBs air it out. Will that happen? Well, we're going have to
15:20go ahead and wake up early on Sunday and find out. But I'm believing in CJ. Stra has been playing fantastic real life
15:25football all season long. He's my QB11.
15:28QB12. I'm going with Caleb Williams.
15:30Toughish matchup against the Falcons.
15:32all that kind of got fraud checked against former Pro Bowl QB Tyler Huntley on Sunday Night Football. So, I'm not calling it, you know, all of a sudden a
15:39defense we can't be playing quarterbacks against. It's just tough, man. Caleb has been so dynamic as a rusher over these past two seasons. Only Kyler Murray has
15:49hit a faster ball carrier speed than Caleb Williams at the quarterback position this year. I would like to think the Bears aren't going to put him
15:57out there until he's 100%. But I don't know, maybe he's going to be playing through a little bit of pain. Maybe he's
16:03not going to be the same guy able to just run away from every sign of pressure and play the type of football
16:07that Caleb wants to play. I mean, we saw last year, not that Caleb is Lamar Jackson, but in terms of just how often
16:14he does rely on his backyard, you know, football scrambling around skill set.
16:19They play the position in a similar way, holding the football, picking up a bunch of their fantasy production via rushing.
16:26And we saw what playing at less than 100% physically did to Lamar last season. So, different teams, different quarterbacks. I get it. Again, this is
16:34just I guess my way of saying like if I knew Caleb was 100% out there this week, I'd probably rank him QB5, QB6,
16:43something like that. Maybe just right behind Drake May. I don't know if he's fully healthy, though. And for that reason, he's my QB12 before getting too
16:50carried away. QB13, I'm going with Tyler Shuck against the Giants. And it feels a little harsh in a smashable maybe shootout matchup here. Saints Giants.
16:59We'll see what the weather's going to look like in New York here this Sunday.
17:01always seems like something different is coming in off the coast there. But Chuck, as great as the season started, he's just a QB 17 and fantasy points per
17:10game right now. And as much as I wanted to just give him a break for that Vikings game because it was Brian
17:16Flores, man, going back and watching a little bit more of it, just some indefensible stuff, man. the interception he threw that he end up
17:23making a tackle on. Shout out to anyone that teller shuck in that 50 plus point fantasy league for quarterback tackles.
17:30He just threw it directly to the Vikings defender man. Even the interception at the end of the game I talked about in
17:36my, you know, beyond the box score video. He just really chucked it up downfield and you know it was late in
17:42the game and they was trying to make something happen. So, it was a little defensible, but nothing was happening in that entire 60-minute game for Tyler
17:51Shuck trying to get the football downfield. And he was under pressure, but maybe he's going to keep being under pressure behind that banned up offensive
17:56line. Tyler Shuck also, let's face it, in the first three weeks of the season, wasn't exactly playing 60 minutes of lights out football. A lot of times, it
18:04was him in the comeback mode, sort of second half trailing situations that he really got going. We've seen rushing upside before. It's not necessarily
18:12something we can consistently hang our hat on. He has five scoreless rushing yards over these last two weeks.
18:18I don't think the Saints are horrible, but if we had to rank every single offense in terms of how good they are
18:24the rest of the season, offensive points per game.
18:29Saints probably closer to 32 than one.
18:32They're probably closer to 16 than 32. I get that as well. But I don't feel as good about this overall offense that
18:39can't run the ball that is struggling at the line of scrimmage that still with all due respect to Devon Bailey and
18:44Jawan Johnson only have one pass catcher for defenses to really feel any ounce of fear about Tyler Shuck my QB13. Key
18:53question for this tier guys as we do every week here I want to break down the top on paper mismatches and advantages
18:59in terms of pressure rate allowed. Got a hand dating chart here. Blue is good, red is bad. I've combined the pressure
19:05rate from every single offense and defense to get one-way metrics instead of having to do, oh yeah, this offense ranks X and this defense ranks Y. So
19:12accordingly, guys, quite a bit of blue this week. Again, just anidotically trying to do this over the years. Like I usually don't see this many numbers in
19:19the mid to low 60s. And accordingly, Aaron Rogers, Matthew Stafford, Daniel Jones, and Cam Warden really are sticking out as guys who are expecting
19:26that all day to throw. The other side of the coin though, Jaylen Herz, Justin Herbert, Bon Knicks, and Sam Donald look
19:32poised to be dealing with the most pressure here in week six. You may have mentioned I have not mentioned any of
19:37those quarterbacks names yet. This is one of the reasons why. Tier three, I got the UNs and also Michael Pennix in
19:43here as well, who, let's be honest, kind of plays like ank of course due to those knee injuries over the years. But we're
19:49starting off with Jameus Winston going up against the Saints. My QB14 250 yards, three touchdowns, and two picks in week four. and then 326 yards and
19:57three touchdowns last week. I'm just trying to balance the fact those came against the Cardinals and the Commanders. Two bad pass defenses and
20:05also in situations where yeah, Jamus had to play catch-up mode last week. Now, those variables could still very much be in play. The Saints are not a good
20:13defense and hey, if the Giants managed to build a lead against them, I would not be shocked. The Giants though remain
20:19just a 27th ranked offense and drop back rate over expected. It was refreshing to see Jamus make it, you know, 70 minutes
20:25without throwing an interception last week. He did have one, I believe, that got called back on a penalty. Maybe that helped cause it in the first place. So,
20:32I still do think in his heart of hearts.
20:34Harbaugh wants us to be a run first team. I think Jameus is great for neighbors. He's great for likely and he's, you know, QB14. This was someone
20:42who we were having trouble trying to talk ourselves into ranking top 20 a few short weeks ago. For now, he's my QB14.
20:48QB15. I got Kirk Cousins. This feels low.
20:53>> [sighs] >> like I should move him higher.
20:56It's tough. He crashed back to earth a bit last week. It was against the Patriots. He still averaged 8.7 yards per attempt.
21:04Brock Bowers basically averaged that, but Brock Bowers isn't going anywhere.
21:08Bills did have not looked good all season long.
21:12It's just there's zero threats at wide receiver, man. We're still trotting Trey Tucker out there. And now Ashen Jensen, he's playing so banged up. He's not a
21:20threat as a receiver. He also drops half the targets thrown his way. Not officially half, but it's not good. It's tough for me to rank a quarterback that
21:28high, even in a good matchup when he only has one guy to really care about.
21:33And honestly, this Bills defense is bad enough. The Raiders might be able to get the run game going a little bit. So,
21:38QB15 for Kirk. If you want to push him a little bit higher, I get it. I just The game total is really high, man.
21:47Potential shootout.
21:50Just a new defensive system for the Bills. Could they get better? Maybe. I thought the Cowboys were maybe gonna get better. That clearly hasn't happened.
22:00They're tears for a reason.
22:03Kurt Cousins could be 15. QB 16. I got Aaron Rogers. Three straight games with three plus passing touchdowns. Three.
22:09Exactly. Didn't need to throw a plus in there. We'll watch the film and get better. The Buccaneers don't scare me on
22:13paper. That said, they've held the Packers to 17 points, Cowboys to 16 points. That's a pretty good job.
22:20Similar to Cousins though, it's like at some point missing all these wide receivers hurts. You'd like to think they're down Michael Pitman. They're down Roman
22:30Wilson. Jerry Bernard did good things.
22:32DK Mechaf not so much, but we have seen Boo before. Credit to the, you know, Fri Moose, the Washingtons, the Jaylen
22:39Warren of the world for picking up the slack right now for me. Aaron Rogers, QB16, I'm feeling good about streaming on him. More on that in a little bit. QB
22:4717. I got Jacobe Brassette. Got us across the finish line last week in a very, very ugly fashion. But hey, the
22:54Cardinals are hilariously just fine.
22:56Letting Jacobe continue racking up stats. They were down 4514 in the fourth quarter. Down enough to say, "Hey, Jeremiah Love, you know, you're banged
23:05up. Get comfy on the sideline and we're just still watching Jacobe Pepper Tide."
23:09Which is great for fantasy. I fully get that. It's just, can you imagine like a serious team doing that? It's the
23:15Cardinals, so we don't care. But, you know, if the Cowboys are I mean, hilarious I said Cowboys after a serious team. If the Rams, the other team
23:25they're playing, were down 45 to 14. It was still Stafford peppering Puka. I think we'd be like, "Hey, that's not a
23:31great idea because those are your two most important players and you're down four touchdowns. Why are you doing this?" Arizona Cardinals though, they're
23:41gonna go score fantasy points. Love them or hate them. So Jacobe Brousette this year 24th in the paper drop back. He's
23:50got these top five fantasy finishes.
23:52He's dead last in the league in yards per attempt. They keep throwing the football, man. It's against the Rams though. We have seen them really shut
24:00down every single passing game they come up against this year. More or less. Josh Allen was efficient, but other than Khalio Shakur and Ty Johnson making a
24:07couple plays after the catch, didn't see a ton of consistency there.
24:12Look, Jacobe had the Lions last week and it still needed to be fueled by garbage time stuff. Man, this offense was not
24:18moving the ball with any sort of just success until the game was out of reach.
24:22We will see you back in the top 10 in these ranks. Jody Brassette, why don't you face the Cowboys here in week eight?
24:28Week 18, I got Jaylen Herz, guys.
24:32Starting the season, he had 25 and 16 fantasy points. In three games since, he has had 13 somewhere around that, you know, 12.6 6
24:4113.5 and 13. I don't know if the Eagles are running the tush push right now. And it could be one of two factors. Neither
24:49of it doesn't matter which one it is. I don't think they're running it. The offensive line is beyond banged up.
24:55We've established that. They might not trust the offensive line to do it right now. And the reason why I think that's
25:00the case is because we saw a fourth and one in that Jaguars game last week where they gave a handoff to Will Shipley on
25:07fourth and one. This does not happen in Philadelphia.
25:12We have seen Jaylen Herz on the field and they ran the ball on a fourth and one 28 times since 2023.
25:21That's a four-year sample. 28 times Jayen Herz has handled 25 of those 28 rush attempts, 89%.
25:30The three times they didn't was a random Kenneth Gwell run when he was also banged up against the Buccaneers.
25:35Honestly, a Saquon Barkley fake tush push play in the Will Shipley rush attempt.
25:43We're also looking at an offense where we're not expecting them to be dealing with too many inside the 10 yard line sort of predicaments.
25:52It was Will Shipley, man. Like, if there was ever a time, you know, we're we saw Saquon get stuff when Randy Dol was
26:00under center at the goal line. I know Saquon's not necessarily the best short yardage back, but man, they've already refused to give Saquon
26:07the ball in fourth and one. They gave it to Will Shipley. Will Shipley now has more non- tush push fourth and one
26:13carries than Saquon, non like trick play tush pushes. So again, maybe it's just the offensive line. Either way, I have relied on Jaylen Herds maybe still being
26:25a good fantasy life quarterback even as this offense crumbles. If we're not getting the tush push, it's like when Homelander lost his powers, man. QB18
26:34for Jaylen Herz. QB19, I got Tyler Huntley against the Browns. 24 fantasy points on Sunday night. That is the third best mark of his career, but his
26:42fourth best mark is 16.7, which kind of shows you the uh volatility we're dealing with here. That said, we got Derrick Henry, we got Zay Flowers, we
26:50got Declan Doyle pushing all the all the right buttons. And honestly, it could have been even better for Tyler Huntley if Mark Andrews knew how to catch a
26:56football or hold on to one in the year 2026. So, Browns defense that, you know, without Miles Garrett hasn't exactly scared me all season. And now without
27:03Mason Graham, likely again for another week, not doing so here. QB19, Tyler Huntley. QB20, I got Michael Penn. I'm not scared of the Bears defense or
27:12anything. I think this rib injury is just going to cause though the Falcons to, if Penn is indeed out there, which
27:18for the love of God, get him out there.
27:20I mean, if we thought there was any leash here issue, uh, what if Pennix plays bad? I I don't know how Pennix
27:27sits down on the bench this season after what we've seen from him and after what we saw from two tackle byoa in relief.
27:33It would take a meltdown for them to put the ball into his hands the rest of the year. You know what I'm saying? It's
27:38only going to be injuries for Penn, which is honestly good news for Drake London and the B Robinsons. Maybe not so
27:43much Kyle Pittz, but you know, look, the Bears, their worst thing on defense this year has easily been their run defense. All right? And when you got
27:53Bejon and Brian Robinson out there, I could just see the Falcons saying, "Hey, let's limit the amount of hits on PennX.
28:00He's going to throw the ball 18 times.
28:0217 of them will be the Drake London.
28:03Each of the B Robinsons, you know, they're going to combine, I should say, for like 50 rush attempts. That's why he's as low as he is. TB21, I got Sam
28:10Darnold, guys. He is playing some very interesting football right now. He's got a career-high 7.1% passing touchdown rate, which is really good. He's also
28:20got a career-high 5.1% interception rate. That number combined is crazy, man.
28:27Now, man, we are literally talking about 12.2% combined touchdown interception rate.
28:37That is the second highest market last decade among 437 qualified quarterbacks.
28:43Only rookie year Deshawn Watson had a higher touchdown interception rate combined. Jameus Winston is a guy I usually look to for stuff like this.
28:51Now, that's fine in fantasy land because guess what? Touchdowns count twice as much as interceptions. Sometimes four times as much as interceptions depending
28:58on your league. You, you know, as we seen with Jamus, throwing a pick six isn't the end of the world. You get the
29:02ball back. You get up put up more points.
29:06We have though seen this lead to more bad than good football. We had the 28 fantasy points against the Commanders.
29:11That was fun. Had a couple bad picks though. next two weeks 13.3 and 8.3 fans points against the Chargers and the
29:1849ers. I know the Broncos corners are banged up. I'm still not exactly convinced that Darnold company are ready to take advantage of it. I'm sure JSM
29:27will get his, but this goes back to Kirk Cousins point like how much can we really expect from a quarterback in
29:32fantasy land when they have one guy to get the football to?
29:36Just saying as well, my neighbor, not me. I'm not bringing this to the public eye. my neighbor. Show me some stats.
29:45EPA per dropback this year. Darnold's 35th and Drew Lock is first. Success rate 25th versus 8th. Pressure to sack
29:54rate 25th versus fifth. Passer rating 20th versus first. Just some stats my neighbor showed me. I thought it was interesting. I would never sit here and
30:03say that Drew Lockach is deserving of being in the conversation with reigning Super Bowl champion Sam Darnold. Crazy thing for my neighbor to show me. Just
30:11thought I'd pass along. Key question for here, guys. I wanted to do another look at the best and worst supporting cast in
30:16the NFL because every time I've been like the one or two times this year I posted it, the public is done with PFF
30:22grades. And you know what? I'm trying to not serve you guys necessarily, but I'd like to get along with you guys. And
30:27I've just seen so much quit using PFF yada yada yada. My mentions I I relented. I said fine. So, new idea for
30:35best and worst supporting cast. I'm doing blocking, rushing, receiving, and coaching. All right, I'll have the sort of different stats I'm looking on the
30:42board, but I basically took three or four different things, took the again average ranks from those different categories and put them together to get
30:48the handy dandy rankings for supporting cast across the NFL. And honestly, I think they're directionally correct. I got one note on Twitter saying maybe I
30:56could remove the coaching element of this, which looks at play action rate, motion rate, and team pass rate over expected things that usually go
31:03handinhand with great offenses, but not always. And again, it's never going to be exactly a perfect science here. For example, the receiving stuff in
31:10particular, really tough to isolate just how much of that has to do with them and the quarterback. I use drop rate,
31:16contested uh catch rate, and then also their yards after the catch per reception rate. Things that again can be a little bit volatile sometimes and also
31:24can be a little bit scheme dependent.
31:25So, not perfect. All that said, top 10 supporting stats for top 10 supporting casts for this season so far. Lions, Rams, 49ers, Chiefs, Bills, Bears,
31:36Ravens, Panthers, Jaguars, Cowboys, and the Falcons tied at 10. Meanwhile, the bottom 10 guys going from 23 to 32, Cardinals, Packers, Chargers, Saints,
31:47Raiders, Titans, Broncos, Washington Commanders, Cleveland Browns, and in last, the New York Football Giants, who just again what their running backs have
31:55been doing on the ground largely not very good. their coaching overall with the play action with the sort of just again insistence on still running the
32:03ball with some bad running backs hasn't been great. They're 30th and receiving starting to wake up for sure, but just looking at the yards out the catch stuff
32:10in particular not helping them too much there. Also seeing some drops. The one kind of bright spot has been blocking their 18th in terms of looking at their
32:17RB rush yards before contact, their pressure rate allowed and their rotor wire offensive line rank. Unfortunately though, not quite enough to get them out
32:24of 32.
32:26And finally, guys, last tier here, tier four. They are outside the circle of trust. I got Daniel Jones going against the Titans as QB22. Kind of a stoppable
32:33force, meaning a movable object situation here. I just don't know if Jonathan Taylor is going to be giving up any yards to the passing game. All
32:40right, JT for 200 plus and two touchdowns on the ground. Maybe Daniel Jones can, you know, average nine yards per attempt like he did last year in
32:47these matchups. But also more and more last year looking like the outlier as opposed to new norm for Daniel Jones.
32:53QB23. I got the Deshawn Watson to go up against the Ravens. Just a tough matchup, man. You take away Casey Conception.
33:00Last week wasn't all on him. There were four drops out there. It was bad weather as well, but he certainly didn't make
33:06the most out of his opportunities otherwise, man. Eight sacks taken. And that really is the one thing that even with Watson playing better football to
33:14start this year, that bar was always low. And he hasn't fixed this, man. 24% of his pressure drop backs have turned
33:21to sacks this season. That's the third worst mark among 37 qualified quarterbacks. And he does rank 63rd among 66 quarterbacks in that since
33:29coming to Cleveland in the first place.
33:32QB24, I got Gio Smith, guys. In five games of series, finished as a QB29. 17 three against the Lions. That was great.
33:40And then two weeks since QB31 and QB 24.
33:43There's just only one guy to get the ball to right now and his name is Garrett Wilson. Patriots were impressive last week despite having all the
33:49injuries at cornerback. just too much of an issue for Gino Smith who now at the you know understandably older age that
33:55he's at running the ball less than ever as well. That said, I'd still start Gino Smith over QB25. Justin Herbert, it's
34:02just so sad, man. We have seen Herbert healthy enough to throw 15 passes in 100 career games. Three of his 13 worst
34:12fantasy point totals have happened across his last four games. has not scored more than 13.3 fantasy points in a game this season. Bengals kicker Evan
34:22McFersonson has more fantasy points than Justin Herbert. I'm going to cry. QB26, I got B next going up against the Seahawks.
34:31Speaking of horrific starts of the year, two of his five worst performances in 39 starts have happened in terms of fantasy
34:38points this season. He's averaging just seven rushing yards per game, man. He was at 25 and 21 in 2024 and 2025. It's
34:47rare, I think, to find like a consensus kind of NFL quarterback opinion across the old Twitter sphere. I think the anti-nicks one is getting pretty close,
34:56man. The one thing I wanted to check because it feels like Nicks plays better in the second half compared to the
35:01first. He does, but we also generally see more EPA per drop back in the second half than the first half, which I think
35:09makes sense. That's when you are seeing either quarterbacks with a lead not having to take risk or they're playing from behind. They have to be throwing
35:16the football more defenses softer coverage, things of that nature. Long story short, Knicks 31st in the EPA per play in the first half, 31st in the
35:25second half as well. Not great. Bob QB27, I got the other Jay Daniels, Jaylen Daniels. If he goes out there and
35:33looks good against the Steelers, I will come to you guys hatinand and say I should have put some more respect on the
35:39guy's name. He scored 13.9 fantasy points against the Cowboys. That's the fourth lowest mark against the Cowboys since last season, guys. I know he runs
35:49around a little bit. Good luck against the Steelers. And then QB28 Cam Ward.
35:53Only the 2023 Patriots have scored fewer points than the 2026 Titans in the first five games of the year. Not great. Easy
36:01enough matchup against a Gardner and company. But yeah, miss me with starting Cam Ward. Last question though, guys. If you are in some by-week turmoil and you
36:09need some streamers, I do have some for you. Kurt Cousins, Aaron Rogers, Deshawn Watson, Gino Smith, and Jameus Winston are all in 37% or less rosters, you
36:18know, over on Yahoo Sports. I'd say for this week only, give me Jameus Winston, but we do watch them play Houston in
36:25week seven, then have a week eight buy, and then they're in Philly in week nine.
36:28So Jamus is more of a oneweek stop gap for you. I think Cousins makes the most sense and he is the most rostered
36:34accordingly. If you do want someone for the next month or you need someone for, you know, week seven, week eight situations, they get the Bills, Rams,
36:41Jets, and 49ers before the schedule gets tough. So Rams one isn't easy, but three of the next four opponents at least
36:47aren't too shabby. Aaron Rogers gets the Buccaneers, Saints, and Browns before the team's week nine buy. Deshun Watson more of a week seven play when he gets
36:54the Titans. I don't want to overly mess around with the Ravens next week or week eight at the Steelers and then Gino
36:59Smith. Again, don't love New England, but if we do start seeing some of these guys getting back, Omar Cooper at some
37:05point, you'd like to think AD Mitchell has his finger injury, Kenyan Sadique concussion. If we can get one or two of
37:10those receivers back and Kenyan Sadi and maybe Bree Hall as well, I'd be much more into Gino in week seven and eight
37:17against the Dolphins and the Raiders.
37:18So, keep an eye out on all that and keep an eye out on nothing else. Actually, we're done here. If you guys like the
37:24video, please like the video. Hit that subscribe button. Always helps as well.
37:27Again, you can find my updated ranks all week long over at rotoire.com as well as my writeups about this if you're into
37:33that kind of thing. So, appreciate you guys tuning in. As always, I'm Ian Harrison. Until next time, take care everybody.
