From the episode
Justin Herbert bobbed and weaved and made the throw... they bootlegged towards Max Crosby. And so what I'm saying there is they're leaving him unblocked. That is the worst freaking thing you can do against an elite pass rusher.
STACKED’s take
NeutralRole
Herbert salvaging poorly designed plays with individual skill, but scheme issues persist.
Herbert bobbed and weaved to complete a touchdown pass on a poorly designed bootleg play that left elite pass rusher Max Crosby unblocked, a worst-case scenario against elite edge rushers; the Chargers' offensive design and execution issues are limiting his efficiency despite his individual playmaking ability.
