Even Derrick Henry, man...when he averaged six yards per carry in week one, he's down to 3.7 man in five games since... I know the first thing people want to point to is age, but I think it's more probably to do with the offensive line Ian this year. It's not as strong as it was last year. You lose Tyler Linderbaum... the lower yards per carrier probably here to stay. Having said all that, I still think Derrick Henry's going to get all the carries that he can handle. He had 90% of the attempts today. 17 carries is still going to score a lot of touchdowns guys, especially when we get Lamar back

YPC down to 3.7 from 6.0; OL weakness and scheme changes, not age, to blame.
Henry's efficiency has declined sharply: 6.0 yards per carry in Week 1 down to 3.7 YPC over the last five games. Ian Hartitz attributes this to offensive line weakness (loss of Tyler Linderbaum) and reduced Lamar Jackson run-design plays (more under-center, fewer shotgun), not age. Despite 90% of carries (17 carries Week 6), lower YPC is likely to persist. However, touchdown upside remains when Lamar Jackson returns to unlock the Ravens offense.
