Fernando Mendoza make his NFL debut last week... It's not a thought right now for the Raiders to how quickly can we put Mendoza in?... I do think they want to see him in some capacity by the end of the season.

Mendoza's transition window depends on Raiders' record; debut made, more reps possible.

Fernando Mendoza made his NFL debut last week and could be part of a full transition at quarterback for the Raiders depending on how the team performs; the source says the Raiders are not yet in a window to accelerate Mendoza's role, but that could change if the team loses another game and falls below .500. The source expects the Raiders to want to see Mendoza in some capacity by season's end.
