Allen caught 6-of-9 targets with TD; may eat into Downs' share with Pierce out.

Keenan Allen caught 6 of 9 targets for 63 yards and a touchdown against Houston in Week 3. He secured a red zone look and scored on a mesh concept play, though the source expresses concern that with Alec Pierce sidelined, Allen may receive increased target volume that could compete with Josh Downs' opportunities. Allen was one of only three designated wide receivers to touch the ball for Indianapolis.
