You mentioned Tanner McKee. He is the new number one... So he gets his shot now midseason, not week 18 when it means nothing. But he gets his shot, Zach, without Saquon Barkley, Devontae Smith.

STACKED’s take

NeutralRole

Tanner McKee gets meaningful midseason start with Hurts out; tough situation without Barkley, Smith.

Tanner McKee is the new number one quarterback for the Eagles following Jalen Hurts' blood clot injury. He has had two previous starts in the final game of the season when the Eagles were resting starters, but this is a meaningful midseason game of significance, different from his previous week 18 appearances. He gets his shot now without Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith available, making it a tough spot for McKee. Two years ago he looked really good, entering in week 17 and helping the Eagles win the NFC East in the second half with two touchdowns on four passes.
