Allen is the source's pick to fill Thornton's role after the bye.

Allen, a late-round rookie, came in for the Taequann Thornton role mid-game last week and is the source's pick to be the next receiver up for the Chiefs after the bye week; the source believes Allen is the best player available to fill the void left by Thornton's season-ending injury.
