It's 100% environmental. Terrace Marshall Tate looks every bit the part... he looks every bit of what we what we kind of we thought he would coming out of Ohio State this year... fourth overall pick.
STACKED’s take
Marshall elite talent hampered by Panthers offense and target competition.
Marshall demonstrates elite talent and execution despite the poor Panthers offense environment. Tyler Kennebley stated: 'It's 100% environmental. Terrace Marshall Tate looks every bit the part... outside of like one punchout fumble in that Ravens game, he's kind of been, you know, doing the right things.' Marshall had a strong touchdown catch and excellent sideline catch in Week 6. The issue limiting his fantasy ceiling is not player ability but the Panthers' dysfunctional offense (Cam Newton's poor play-calling and decision-making) and target competition from Wan'Dale Robinson and Ihmir Smith-Marsette, preventing him from being the sole receiving option. His fantasy value would improve significantly if he were the primary target in a better situation.
