A.J. Brown

PositiveProjection17:02

AJ Brown had three drops in his return from injury and looked rusty against Drake Maye, appearing as though he'd never practiced with the quarterback. However, Tyler Kennebley views this as a buy-low window driven by rust rather than a fundamental decline. He still ranks Brown inside the top 36 for fantasy purposes despite the poor outing and plans to start him in his leagues.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

NegativeRole29:00

Bijan Robinson is one of two main receiving options for the Falcons alongside Jahan Dotson in the number-two receiving role; he has a floor game but still gets his touches, though Jahmyr Gibbs remains the primary running back. Tyler Kennebley notes Robinson will deliver consistent production, but offensive concerns with the Falcons—particularly if key players like Marcus Mariota are lost or if Tua becomes the backup quarterback—would significantly impact the offense's viability and Robinson's fantasy value. He is ranked 101st in redraft rankings.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

NegativeProjection14:05

CJ Stroud is performing like the number two overall pick and is on pace for a $50 million per year contract. Tyler Kennebley rates him as a top-15 quarterback rest of season but not quite top 12. Stroud's rookie season is already better than any Bryce Young season. However, Kennebley expresses hesitation about jumping on the bandwagon, citing concerns about the Texans' offensive line as his primary worry; he questions whether Stroud can sustain performance if forced to drop back 40 times per game due to the team's inability to run the football. The key to Stroud's fantasy viability is Nico Collins' health; with Collins healthy, Stroud enters the top 12-15 QB conversation every week, but without him in the lineup, Kennebley doesn't even like Stroud as a fantasy option.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

PositiveProjection30:18

Caleb Williams returned from injury with 305 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT in Week 6, completing 30 of 36 passes with his first 12 completions in a row. Tyler Kennebley noted he showed zero rust and performed exactly as expected during draft season, signaling the Bears offense is finally on track with all three primary pass catchers healthy.

Insight page

Cam Akers

NegativeValue4:22

Cam Akers, drafted in the fourth or fifth round as a value pick, is now wiped out of fantasy football following Week 6; he was not startable and represents a significant disappointment for early-round drafters, though Tyler Kennebley stops short of calling him droppable yet.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

NegativeBreakout14:31

Tate recorded 7 targets, 6 catches, 70 yards, and a touchdown in Week 6—his first NFL touchdown. However, Tyler Kennebley cautioned against overreacting: the breakout is real but inconsistent. He noted Tate had a similar 160-yard game against the Ravens that was 'garbage time,' and warned 'I don't think you can trust him week in and week out... It's a 50/50 chance though whether he's going to have a stat line like today or he's going to put up two for 20.' The floor is unreliable due to environmental factors (poor Panthers offense, Cam Newton's play), not player talent. Kennebley suggested starting him in upcoming weeks with favorable matchups but acknowledged the volatility.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveUsage30:05

Loveland caught 6 passes for 65 yards and a touchdown in Week 6, finally getting back on track after earlier struggles. He was involved early and often, with the Bears making a point to target him, validating him as one of the three primary pass catchers the offense was built around.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

PositiveProjection22:50

Dallas Goedert had a strong performance in Week 6 as part of the improved Eagles offense with DeVonta Smith's return. Tyler Kennebley highlighted that 'Dallas Goedert actually had a pretty good game, too,' suggesting he benefited from the improved offensive environment.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveRole22:28

DeVonta Smith returned from injury in Week 6 and scored a touchdown, directly improving the Eagles offense. Tyler Kennebley noted the offense 'looked a little bit better' with Smith back in the lineup compared to the Tanner McKee start, signaling his importance to the team's passing game.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeUsage0:24

DK Metcalf got a ton of targets in the Pittsburgh-Tampa game and operated on the boundary; received scheme touches including screen plays, contrasting with Jeremy Bernard's middle-of-field role.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeRole5:54

J.J. McCarthy came in late in Week 6 and led the Giants in both passing and rushing yards, making him back in play for superflex formats. However, Tyler Kennebley assesses only a 50/50 chance he starts next week, citing the possibility he was inserted only because the team was getting blown out. Despite the team trading for him and running RPO plays early, Kennebley notes it's not a 'shoe-in' that McCarthy remains the starter. In Superflex leagues, he's worth a ~12% waiver bid given the uncertainty.

Insight page

Jahan Dotson

NegativeSleeper27:53

Jahan Dotson is a pickup candidate as the Falcons' clear second receiving option; he scored on a third-down back-shoulder fade touchdown in Week 6 and has touchdowns in two of five games, suggesting his opportunity-based floor is less fluky than perceived. Tyler Kennebley emphasizes that based on opportunity alone, Dotson's scoring is worth targeting in deeper leagues, especially at minimal cost heading into bye weeks. He can be acquired for a dollar or free in most formats.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeInjury22:14

Hurts suffered an injury with significant uncertainty around his status and potential rest-of-year absence. Tyler Kennebley expressed concern: 'We have no idea what's going on with the Jalen Hurts situation right now' and noted 'I'm nervous about Jalen Hurts' future uh for this year... out for the rest of the year is in play right now.' He lost Hurts in a superflex dynasty league and had to overpay for C.J. Stroud (first and second round pick in 2028) as a replacement.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeRole6:33

Jameis Winston remains the Giants' starter but is not viewed as the franchise's future. He provides a veteran presence if things go wrong, but the team is actively exploring alternatives like J.J. McCarthy. Winston had not lost a game since being named starter until Week 6.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeProjection0:51

Jaylen Daniels looked competent in the first half of Tampa Bay's Week 6 game, prompting Tyler Kennebley to think he might belong in the NFL, but Daniels collapsed in overtime and played like an undrafted free agent; Kennebley projects him to have a Tyler Huntley-type career trajectory—solid backup/spot-start potential but not a long-term NFL starter.

Insight page

Jaylin Noel

NegativeRole5:14

Jaylen Noel emerged as a hot waiver wire pickup for Houston after Week 6, scoring strong fantasy points. However, Tyler Kennebley advises caution going forward because Marvin Harrison's increased involvement will limit Noel's role and upside.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection36:56

Herbert is no longer a startable quarterback. In dynasty and keeper leagues, industry rankings including Rotowire have downgraded him to QB 18–19, signaling a significant decline in his fantasy value and long-term outlook.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

NegativeRole16:16

Tyler Kennebley recommends Juwan Johnson as a pickup this week due to the Saints' weak running game, but cautions against spending FAB on him because David Montgomery is expected to return soon, limiting Johnson's role to a temporary fill-in.

Insight page

Kalif Raymond

PositiveSleeper33:21

Khalif Raymond is available as a waiver wire pickup despite prior production and represents legitimate value in 10- or 12-team leagues with five-bench rosters. Tyler Kennebley notes he's a legit receiver handcuff who could be dropped by other teams this week, making him a worthwhile pickup.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveRole34:24

Kenneth Walker remains in the same redraft tier as Bijan Robinson and Gibbs despite the Seahawks deploying creative goal-line schemes to prevent predictable Walker runs, including wide receiver alignments and rocket screens. Tyler Kennebley indicates some analysts prefer Walker over both Robinson and Gibbs in redraft scenarios, suggesting his elite tier status is intact despite tactical adjustments by Seattle.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeProjection28:49

Kyle Pitts scored two touchdowns in Week 6 garbage time, but Tyler Kennebley has been fading him in season-long leagues while using him selectively in DFS. Pitts has touchdowns in only two of five games this year, suggesting inconsistent scoring despite the two-TD performance. The touchdowns came late in a blowout, raising questions about the sustainability of his fantasy value.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

NegativeInjury18:25

Tyler Kennebley is ready to drop Ladd McConkey despite third-round draft capital because the receiver cannot stay healthy for the Chargers; he emphasizes that draft pedigree is irrelevant when a player's injury history makes him unreliable. McConkey suffered a concussion in Week 6, and Kennebley questions whether to trust him upon return for the rest of redraft season, stating he doesn't want McConkey on his fantasy team regardless of ADP.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveRole14:35

Marvin Harrison was acquired by the Texans for a second-round pick and made an immediate impact in his debut, catching a huge deep ball from CJ Stroud. Though limited in snaps as expected, Harrison's addition is explicitly good for Stroud's rest-of-season outlook. Tyler Kennebley acknowledges Harrison's disappointing first-half performance but views the trade as an opportunity to breathe life into his career after what has not been good production early in the season.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

NegativeInjury0:05

Michael Pittman is wiped off the board for at least the next month due to injury, creating a multi-week runway for other Steelers receivers.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveProjection15:45

Nico Collins' health status is critical to CJ Stroud's fantasy viability. With Collins healthy, Stroud enters the top 12-15 QB conversation every week, but without him in the lineup, Tyler Kennebley doesn't even like Stroud as a fantasy option.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveValue20:18

Omar Cooper posted 6 receptions for 100+ yards and a touchdown in Week 6 (with another TD called back, so he should have had two), making him worthy of a 15–20% waiver wire bid for wide receiver help despite being unwanted in keeper and dynasty leagues. However, with Adonai Mitchell returning next week, Cooper's role and target share may be affected; Kennebley notes Mitchell plays similar middle-of-field routes as Cooper and Cedrick Wilson, creating uncertainty about Cooper's usage going forward. At minimal cost, he remains a viable pickup for bye-week depth.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeUsage10:45

Parker Washington had a slower Week 6 performance with 4 catches for 64 yards and no touchdown. If the Jaguars trade Bryan Thomas Jr., Washington could face snap competition from Travis Hunter, who would shift to offense. Tyler Kennebley ranks Washington inside his top 36 fantasy receivers for Week 7 start/sit consideration, suggesting he remains a viable option despite recent performance concerns.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

NegativeUsage0:24

Pat Freiermuth saw less involvement than expected in the Pittsburgh-Tampa game, likely due to game script favoring quick passes and early touches rather than tight end usage.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

NegativeUsage30:05

Rome Odunze recorded a few catches for 39 yards in Week 6 as part of the Bears' three-receiver receiving corps; he was one of the three primary pass catchers the offense was built around during draft season.

Insight page

Terrace Marshall

PositiveRole26:02

Marshall demonstrates elite talent and execution despite the poor Panthers offense environment. Tyler Kennebley stated: 'It's 100% environmental. Terrace Marshall Tate looks every bit the part... outside of like one punchout fumble in that Ravens game, he's kind of been, you know, doing the right things.' Marshall had a strong touchdown catch and excellent sideline catch in Week 6. The issue limiting his fantasy ceiling is not player ability but the Panthers' dysfunctional offense (Cam Newton's poor play-calling and decision-making) and target competition from Wan'Dale Robinson and Ihmir Smith-Marsette, preventing him from being the sole receiving option. His fantasy value would improve significantly if he were the primary target in a better situation.

Insight page

Travis Homer

PositiveUsage9:39

Travis Homer saw increased offensive involvement in Week 6, catching a significant touchdown late in the game. This marks a shift in the Jaguars' usage pattern and suggests Homer may be getting more opportunities going forward.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

PositiveSleeper10:45

Travis Hunter is positioned as a rare wide receiver handcuff with contingent upside. If the Jaguars trade Bryan Thomas Jr., Hunter would shift from defense to offense, where he demonstrated capability in Week 6. Tyler Kennebley has a personal bet that Hunter reaches 200 yards for the season (he's currently tracking toward that). In deeper formats, Hunter is worth a 5% or less waiver bid based on the BTJ trade scenario.

Insight page

Ty Montgomery

PositiveBreakout4:54

Ty Montgomery has emerged as the lead back in the Giants offense after Week 6, securing pass-catching work and a touchdown; this is a remarkable turnaround given he was expected to be cut or traded after fumbling in Week 1, and he now represents the premier option in the Giants backfield.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

PositiveBreakout5:24

Tyron Tracy, who was expected to be done in the Giants backfield due to fumbling problems, has found his way back into the offense and scored approximately 20 points in Week 6, demonstrating that even players with early-season struggles can resurge.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeUsage16:16

Woody Marks is limited by the Saints' weak running game. Tyler Kennebley notes that even his red-zone touches appear to be rest opportunities rather than featured role work, suggesting minimal fantasy upside.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

NegativeValue35:30

Worthy posted 7 catches for 73 yards in Week 6 after being drafted in the 10th–11th round in best ball. Tyler Kennebley flagged this as a prime sell-high opportunity: he will not produce at this level once Rashee Rice and other Chiefs receivers return, and he will not live up to his first-round draft pedigree long-term. While Worthy functions as a viable wide receiver handcuff and flex option when those guys are out and his Week 6 production proved he can execute when opportunity is available, this role is temporary.

0:01The biggest fantasy football takeaways from week six, Alan Ceslowski along with Tyler Kennebley. There he is. No Theo Gramminger, a well-deserved bye week for
0:12the goat. That was courtesy of Bradley Stalder, gave me that line. That's a good one, man. But, Tyler, every all anyone wants to talk about,
0:20there's a lot that happened that we'll cover in the next half hour or so, but everybody is now into Jeremy Bernard,
0:26the 11 catches, the 25 fantasy points here. That Pittsburgh versus Tampa game was insane. What do you Is Jeremy Bernard the biggest takeaway from
0:35fantasy football this week?
0:36>> I mean, it it kind of felt that way going in though a little bit, you know, where like everyone was talking about
0:40Jeremy going into the game because obviously Roman Wilson gets put on IR earlier, I think in the day or earlier in the week. And it it kind of just And
0:48here this Jeremy Bernard had already led the Steelers in targets two of their five games. So, it's like you you kind
0:54of just saw this coming. You kind of expected this to happen. Obviously, he gets the touchdown in overtime as well, but I'm I'm I've been a huge
1:01massive Jeremy Bernard fan. I think this is a real stat. I I saw it on Twitter, so it must be real. But, 25.7 PPR
1:08points, 12 targets. Care to guess how many air yards he had?
1:12>> It's not a lot, right?
1:13>> 18.
1:14>> Yeah.
1:14>> 18 air yards. That's crazy.
1:17>> He did it all himself. That's when I was watching the game, I was like, "Oh my god, he's not it It's like Rodgers is
1:21getting him the ball and usually he doesn't trust rookies, Jeremy Bernard, but he gets him the ball and Jeremy Bernard made magic with with every
1:29catch. And But, what's really cool about this being the biggest takeaway, Tyler, is that it's um, you know, very rare is
1:36like the hype guy of the week end up delivering and he was available. Like even in the NFC, the you know, the 20
1:42deep rosters, like he was, you know, you had to put up 25, 30% even have a shot to get him and then it works out.
1:50>> Yeah, no, 100%. I You didn't you didn't you mention that he was you got outbid by him by like a couple
1:55like a couple points or something?
1:57>> Yeah, well, Theo and I are in the same NFFC. I put like 20, you know, 20.2, he puts 28%. Gets him. And then, you know,
2:05stuffs it down my throat. It's always more painful when somebody you know, and especially it's Theo, outbid you and you thought you had the bid. Cuz I saw that
2:12sneak Theo talk about like a 20% bid on his videos, and then he puts a 28% bid.
2:18>> Yeah. Now, I mean, so what do you What do you think with Jeremy going forward though? Because DK still got a ton of
2:24targets too. Didn't seem as much Freiermuth in this game. I think as many people were expecting as well.
2:28Obviously, like they couldn't they couldn't really get anything going in the run game. Not a lot of people usually can against Tampa Bay. They're
2:33usually one of the better run defense.
2:35Like I feel like I get like four fantasy. Like you like like Jamison had a couple touchdowns, but like in terms
2:40of like rushing yards, like not a lot of guys are putting up 100 yards weekly on the Tampa Bay rushing defense. So, this
2:45could have been just a game where, you know, they thought they were going to win the game by, you know, quick passes,
2:49get the ball in your hands early. And it is a little concerning that I mean, like right now, like Jeremy obviously the
2:55touchdown is good, you know, he scores a ton of points, but it's like he kind of was PPR scam, but he can still just
2:59continue to be that going forward. He's definitely like their middle of the field yacht guy. DK did all of his, you
3:05know, stuff on the on the boundary. Like they even did like some scheme touches, like some some screen stuff for DK in
3:10that game, too. But, I'm just curious, what are your thoughts with Jeremy going forward uh in for the rest of the season here?
3:16>> Jeremy Bernard was a quasi like first-round buzz guy in the real NFL draft. Second-round uh pick, ends up delivering. I think he's the real deal.
3:24Um I mean, Michael Pittman seems to be wiped off the board at least for the next month. Roman Wilson a few weeks, so
3:30he's going to have a runway of three or four weeks. And if he does anything like this for a long run, it's up to
3:35basically it's in his hands if it's going to be sticky or not. So, I think that's the biggest takeaway. Let's move
3:40over to the uh Anything on the Tampa Bay side that you thought was worthy or just like, "Hey, let's get Baker Mayfield
3:45back in." Abuka comes to life again.
3:48He's a viable every week start once again.
3:51>> Yeah, Abuka had the He had like a It was like a wide-open touchdown. It's kind of a blown coverage deal. Jaylen Daniels
3:55looked really good in that first half. I was like, "Oh my god, he's making some throws. Like, he's looking like he
3:59belongs." I even I was watching with my buddy and I was like, "He This guy's just going to have a Tyler Huntley
4:03career." Like, that's why I was like, "This guy That's who this guy's going to be in his NFL career." And then he gets
4:08the ball in overtime and just looked like every bit like an undrafted free agent. So, uh I'm still a little worried about
4:14Tampa Bay. I wouldn't say like you have to start Ebuka, like I said. He had 50 yards. He kind of, you know, it's I want
4:19to say I want to say lucky touchdown, but it was definitely like, you know, just wide-open, you know, blown coverage in the end zone type of deal. Yeah.
4:26Uh yeah, nothing really else to say on Tampa Bay. Bucky seems to be very much the guy though. I think we've been We've
4:30known that for a couple weeks now. But even in today's game, like yeah, Gainwell's mixing in, but like even on like passing downs, passing sets, like
4:36Bucky's definitely like the go-to guy in that offense.
4:39>> New York Giants, man. That's going to be one of the bigger stories of the week.
4:42If you took Cam Akers and Ebuka in the fourth round and maybe even got him in the fifth round, you thought you got a
4:47value. He is wiped out of fantasy football right now. I'm not going to say droppable yet. Let's just see. But I
4:54mean, he wasn't startable today. None of the runners I mean, Ty Montgomery got the uh the pass-catching work out, the the touchdown. It's going to be a new
5:02situation if they do insert uh McCarthy, but let's start there. I mean, Cam Akers and Ebuka Is there anything to do with
5:08this point? Are you dropping him this week? If there was something on the for if like some reason uh you know, like a
5:14Jaylen Noel who we'll talk about on Houston is a hot waiver wire pick up.
5:17Run Giants running game. What's the takeaway here?
5:20>> I I wouldn't drop him. I think you you hold on to him for at least another week. There's worse guys I think you
5:24could technically roster. But imagine after week one I told you that Ty Montgomery was going to be the guy who scored who's like the premier guy in
5:30this backfield after He had his fumble problems in the preseason then fumbled again in that week one almost like lost or they they still won that week one
5:37game, but like he was It felt like Ty Montgomery was going to get cut traded after week one. And now he's the guy
5:43who's back. So, it's like I think that's kind of the the silver lining for Scat back. It's we thought this guy was done
5:49in Tyron Tracy cuz he had all these fumbling problems, but then he finds his way back in and then he scores like 20
5:54points on the week. So, I don't think Skowronek is just he's not droppable yet, but like I think the other part of
5:59it too is like what is going on with J.J. McCarthy? He comes in at the end of the fourth quarter, leads the team in
6:06passing, leads the team in rushing.
6:08>> Right.
6:09>> Likely is the tight end one. Neighbors scores 20 points again. Like is there there's no way this is this is this was
6:15like a flash in the pan. Like the Saints they they benched their starters. I think this is just like a fluke deal. I
6:21think people are going to buy into the McCarthy thing a way more than they should. It was good obviously that you
6:26know Neighbors and Likely got there, but I I don't know like I don't Do you think McCarthy's going to be the starting
6:31quarterback next week?
6:33>> Well, in in a single yes, I do think that. I I do think yeah. I mean because they already the Giants already know
6:39Jameis Winston is is not going to be the future, right?
6:44And the Giants are trying to win the division. They're not like any like rebuild mode, but I think J.J. McCarthy showed enough to at least get the start.
6:50Now if like he has like a three interception he's got zero leash.
6:54Zero leash. So, a bad half will see Jameis again. This is now going to be like hey, hot hand, nobody has it, who
7:01wants the baton? Right now J.J. McCarthy has the baton.
7:05He literally led them back. You know what you have in Jameis Winston if things go wrong, you got a good veteran
7:10presence. So, I do think it'll be and now we'll see if it actually works out.
7:14Uh they're going to need some semblance of running game, but the takeaway here is in any superflex format, J.J.
7:19McCarthy is back in play. He should be bid on. Single quarterback, it's really going to depend on your options. The reason I wouldn't start someone like
7:26J.J. McCarthy in single quarterback, Tyler, is because there's benching risk at halftime.
7:31>> Yeah, I know I wouldn't be so sure that McCarthy starts next week because I think they only put him in because they
7:37were getting blown out and I think it was just one of those, you know, fluke deals where it's like how do we find
7:41ourselves back in this game? Much like how Atlanta, like how did they how did they find themselves back in that Chicago game? Because I mean, James
7:48hadn't lost a game for them since he had been named the starter up until today. So, I don't know if if they just obviously
7:56they trade for him. Like you want to and like they're kind of getting him on the field even like in like the first
8:01quarter, you know, first half. They're like, all right, we're going to run some RPO stuff. Like we're actually going to get this guy on the field. So, that
8:07that, you know, would maybe suggest that you they want to play him. You know, they want to see what they have cuz they
8:11obviously traded for him, but I I wouldn't say it's a shoe-in that McCarthy's the the starter next week.
8:16>> Fair enough, but you're saying there's is there at least a 35% chance that he's the starter?
8:20>> I think it's 50/50. 50/50 chance. So, he's definitely worth betting on in Superflex, for sure.
8:24>> Oh, yeah. I mean, and then like what?
8:2612%? 15%? Like if you have to put your bid in today and you don't know who the starter is.
8:32I'd be about >> Probably around 12%, I think. Yeah.
8:34>> Okay. All right. So, you know what? Um Scott Pianowski of Yahoo told me he was quoting someone else, but he said,
8:40"Always bid on these type of guys like you want to come in second place." Like enough to like give an honest bid, but
8:46not enough to like go balls to the wall when it could go south on you. I've always thought that was a good quote.
8:51And just a reminder here, Theo Gramminger, the host of this show, will be back tomorrow with his waiver wire and he'll do some takeaways as well. But
8:58for now, Tyler Kenably, Alan Seslowsky here with from RotoWire. We're going to get through as many of the big takeaways from week six fantasy football as we
9:06can.
9:07Go back to this morning, the London game here, Jaguars-Houston. Great game.
9:11A couple big takeaways here.
9:14I didn't see much from Bryan Thomas Jr.
9:16at all. What is Now, we already knew that he was probably not playable, but did you see anything new that's a
9:21takeaway?
9:22>> I didn't see anything new cuz he did what he kept what he continued to do the entire year is not catch the ball. He
9:26had zero catches in this game, five targets in that first half, and then did not play a single snap in the second
9:33half. Like that and then obviously you see they get Travis Homer a little bit more involved. He catches kind of a
9:39you know a huge touchdown late for them.
9:41He had an interception late too for them. So, I wonder it's like like I don't think they they went into the
9:45season obviously not wanting to play Travis Hunter on offense a ton. You know, he has a couple plays, you know, he'll get in you know, throughout the
9:52throughout the game, but they want him to be like that lockdown corner, I think. They they need him on defense a
9:57lot more than they need him on offense.
9:58Jacoby Myers looks, you know, really good. Like he's you know, one of the premier guys in this offense, which he definitely is, but
10:04uh Brian Thomas Jr. like he feels like the next he's the next Marvin Harrison.
10:08This guy's getting traded maybe this year. I I don't think he's you know, he's not on this roster week one 2027.
10:15There's no >> Oh my god. No, he's got This is if they're not going to use him and give him zero snaps, he's a trade deadline
10:21guy especially Marv uh the Marvin Harrison deal with the second-round pick set the market. So, there's no reason why Brian Thomas Jr. shouldn't be able
10:28to garner at least that. He has production on his resume, Tyler. Marvin Harrison did not have a season of production on his resume here. You
10:36mentioned Jacoby Myers, five for 83, you know, in those like those deeper formats, the 12-team three receivers, he's always playable. Parker Washington,
10:45little slow for him. He had four for 64, no touchdown today. But you mentioned Travis Hunter. Uh Travis Hunter to me
10:52again, I have a bet with our own Jim Coventry. Will Travis Hunter reach 200 yards for the season? I have yes, he has
10:58no. I'm definitely winning that. You know, come on.
11:00>> What does he have right now? What does he have right now?
11:02>> Whatever he got today. What >> [laughter] >> 59 yards?
11:04>> Does he have another catch in the other games, though?
11:06>> Uh I I looked back. I I looked at that game log. If you don't mind checking, I looked at that game log. I'm not sure I
11:12saw anything. I saw a bunch of zeros on his Sleeper game log. Maybe they didn't update it or something. Uh but either
11:17way, Travis Hunter to me um at this point was like the hot like the rare wide receiver handcuff. If they suffer
11:24if they trade BTJ and just say again a Parker Washington miss a game, Travis Hunter will just play offense there and
11:30you see that he can. So, I think that's the takeaway here is that in those deeper formats, I think he's worth a 5%
11:35or less bid just based on if they do continue with this there.
11:40Bashaul Tauton leads the league in called back touchdowns. Man, but he had he blasted off today. Is he a top 12
11:45running back? Is that a big takeaway for the rest of the season?
11:49>> Well, it's tough cuz I'm a noted Tauton hater, but even I have to admit like I was kind of I was kind of hate hate watching him
11:55a little bit today and I was like I was I was like getting bailed out by like that Brandon Strange holding was one of the worst
12:01calls like of the day. It was so bad.
12:03But I feel I mean they've shown like like Chris Rodriguez, that was the thing going into the season, right? Like is
12:09Chris Rodriguez going to have a goal line role? And it feels like he does have some sort of short short yardage
12:14goal line type of role. But Tauton is without a doubt like he when they need to get the ball to him like in the
12:19screen game today, you saw I think both of his were both of his touchdowns were receiving touchdowns, I believe. So, I
12:25think you know, Tauton just looks different when he has the ball in his hands. He's got that, you know, he's very good
12:31yards after catch like, you know, he's just the straight line speed is very apparent. He's not really like a huge, you know, like juke you out of your
12:38shoes guy. He's got some power that he flashes a little bit. I think the big thing for him is that he's definitely
12:42held onto the football, too, cuz like that's one way to get relegated really fast and that was one of the concerns
12:47with him coming out of college and even a little bit last year, too. So, I think Tauton to answer your question, top 12
12:53he's flirting with top 12. I wouldn't say he's firmly in there, but he's definitely flirting around in that in that area. Probably, you know, going to
12:59my head, I would say probably, you know, he's inside there, though.
13:02>> Quintez Jukins or Bashaul Tauton? That's an easy question for the rest of the redraft season, right?
13:06>> Yeah, it's Tauton. As much as I I'm a Jukins guy, so as much as I hate to say it, it's definitely Tauton.
13:11>> I do follow your content, so I know that and that's why I asked the question. I mean, it's Bashaul Tauton again, easily inside the
13:17top 15 and I'm not going to hate anyone if we're doing if we're doing a draft that starts this week. And again, the
13:23Jaguars are going to be off in week seven. So, I mean, you're going to get a zero, but after that, I'd say Touton.
13:29The Rooting for Touton to the moon. I like him for the next, you know, especially dynasty stock. There was always a question between Scataboo, who
13:36we talked about at the beginning of this video, and Touton. I think the answer is is pretty clear at this point.
13:41>> By the way, Travis Hunter 66 receiving yards on the season.
13:45>> All right, I'm almost halfway there.
13:46Yeah, I Jim Coventry was he was like, he is not getting 200 yards. I bet he is. He wouldn't put up
13:53any money, but, you know, listen, and now I'm scared that I was going to lose that bet until today.
14:00Quickly, other side of the ball, I want to cover a lot with our top 10 takeaways from week six.
14:05CJ Stroud, I mean, he's looking every bit the part of the number two overall pick. This season, he's probably going to get his $50 million per year date.
14:13Is he a top 15 quarterback, top 12 quarterback rest of the way based on what you've seen over the last month?
14:19>> Top 12, I would say no, but he's definitely like in that top 15 range, I think. Just like I think, you know, they
14:25you when you mentioned the $50 million deal, I think that's going to be a huge point of contention. It's ultimately going to end however like how
14:31does the season end is going to dictate, you know, how much money he gets. I think the fact that he definitely was
14:35the guy like they gave up a second round pick to go get Marvin Harrison, which is obviously good for CJ Stroud rest of
14:41season, and you saw him making instant impact today. Huge catch deep ball for Marvin Harrison. Obviously, he kind of had didn't really play that much, but I
14:50you >> But they said he wasn't going to.
14:51>> They said no, 100%. They said he wasn't going to, but I maybe like I don't know, maybe he this is one of those deals
14:56where he can just, you know, resurrect not resurrect Marvin Harrison's career, but like breathe some life into it because what we've seen from, you know,
15:02in the first half of the season has not been good. CJ Stroud though like I'm just not ready to to jump on the
15:08bandwagon yet cuz he I feel like we know who he is.
15:11>> But think about this, Tyler, if I would have asked you this question about Bryce Young last year when he was on his
15:15heater at the end of the year, you would have had the same reaction you're having right now to Stroud.
15:20>> [sighs] >> I guess they're right. I guess they're right. I like but I've always been a Bryce I've been a Bryce Young guy. But
15:25CJ Stroud like that I mean he still has a rookie season that's better than any Bryce Young season. But I feel like I
15:29don't know why but it just feels worse for Stroud. I think that O line is what I'm the most worried about. They just
15:35cannot run the football and I just don't know if Stroud is like a all right we're going to drop back 40 times a game to
15:41win this game. I just don't know if that's like what he can do week in and week out.
15:45>> Jaylen Noel went off for the Houston Texans. That is a factually true statement and I think the key really to
15:51Stroud is as long as Nico's healthy and all these other pieces are going to benefit as well and without Nico in the
15:57lineup I don't even like Stroud but with him in the lineup he's in that top 12 top 15 conversation every week and you
16:03know those questions are this guy or Stroud used to be the other guy. Now it's like a real question.
16:09The other takeaway from that game was that you you hit it. There's no running game with Woody Marks but Juwan Johnson he's a pick up this week.
16:17>> Juwan Jordan yeah no Juwan Jordan sorry.
16:20>> Louisville. He Is Is he a pick up this week? He He just I think he had a nice run on He had a nice run in the red zone
16:28on like a like a just a carry that was like to get you know give Woody Marks a rest. That's what it felt like to me
16:33like when I was watching it.
16:35He He did this a little bit last year too I think he had a touchdown at the end of the end of the year last year
16:39too. I wouldn't say I think David Montgomery is going to be back sooner than later. I wouldn't even waste fab on
16:43Juwan Jordan. I'd also be hesitant on Noel too. It's like Marvin Harrison's going to be more involved you know at the closer and
16:50>> get. Xavier Hutchinson just will will never like he'll never be fully phased out. They just love that guy so I don't
16:55think he's ever going to you know fully go away either. So you know I would be cautious on Noel and Juwan Jordan I mean
17:01my opinion.
17:02>> Let's have a moment of silence for a great career from AJ Brown but three drops today. Was it four? Was it three?
17:08Or was it just rust? The big takeaway was you you drafted AJ Brown in the one two turn probably in the middle of the
17:14second round by the end of the year.
17:16He's off to a game one, gets hurt, you put him on your IR, you keep him on your bench, comes back in and literally looks
17:23like he's never practiced with Drake Maye play or played football before.
17:27>> Yeah, man.
17:28AJ Brown, like we all again, I was watching with my buddy and like it just like it felt like every time they
17:33flashed it to to to the Pats game and the ball was going to AJ Brown's direction, he just couldn't bring it in.
17:38There were some that were like tougher catches, but like the the one where it's like, you know, deep down the right
17:42sideline, he just like couldn't find the ball and it's like we've seen AJ Brown make that play, you know, 50 times in
17:48his career. So, I want to say that it's Russ, you know, we've seen we saw stuff Remember like CD Lamb in week one last
17:54year. Remember like George Pickens in week one this year. So, I I'm going to say that it's Russ. I think it could be
18:00a good buy now window. It was good to see him out there. He looked every bit the part from like, you know, he he he
18:05didn't really take plays off. He was out there for all the plays.
18:08Um, I think he looks good, but I think this could be actually a good little like sneaky buy now window because I
18:14would I would suggest that it's more it's more Russ than it actually is, you know, a factual thing. Yeah, also too,
18:21the the onside kick. They put him on the onside kick and he he muffed the onside kick recovery today on the hands team,
18:26too. He muffed the hands team.
18:27>> They got it back. Yeah, how How do you put a guy in that just dropped five passes on the hands team? That's crazy
18:33to me.
18:34>> Yeah, AJ Brown has got alpha energy. So, when he's when he just runs out cuz he's probably on the hands team. So, when he
18:39runs out there, you don't like put your hand in front of him like you're stopping short of a car and push him
18:44back. Like he just goes out there and you let the film speak for itself. We'll give him another week of grace. I'm sure
18:48I'm going to start him in the leagues where I have him. Like if you're if you're next week, if you're out Parker
18:53Washington and, you know, you just you you just need a player there. I mean, he's still going to be inside my inside
18:58my top 36. I know that's not like that's damning with faint praise, but I still think AJ Brown um, is going to get a
19:05shot to play here. You know who I don't want on my fantasy team and I'm ready to drop and especially in dynasty. Like I'm
19:10never going to drop him, but man, Ladd McConkey just can't stay healthy for the Chargers. This is another big takeaway is that I don't care if you
19:18drafted him in the third round. I don't even want him on my team. I mean, forget trading him because no one's going to
19:23give you anything, Tyler. For the rest of redraft season, when Ladd McConkey comes back from this concussion, do you trust this guy to
19:29start him?
19:30>> No, definitely not. You can't You can't start this guy. I mean, but like in field if you're looking at it from a
19:34dynasty perspective, has anyone on the Chargers been a good pick? Like at all?
19:38Like nobody's Quentin Johnston maybe is the best pick from the Chargers this year at ADP? That's got to That's got to
19:43be the best one. So, dynasty you You hold on him in dynasty.
19:47You don't want I don't think you sell I don't think you sell low on on Ladd in dynasty. I think you hold it and you
19:53wait for a better situation. Harbaugh's probably gone or a new OC is at least in there. They're already talking about maybe firing McDaniel. So, maybe that
20:00changes something. I wouldn't, you know, I wouldn't set like trade McConkey away for nothing. I would still hold on to him
20:07cuz I think he still has some value down the line.
20:10>> We're rapid firing these big takeaways from week six. Tyler Kennebly, Alan Seslowsky. Theo Gramlich will be back next week, but he'll also be back
20:16tomorrow with the waiver wire podcast.
20:18Well, he'll run through a bunch of his takeaways as well. Another big one here that I had was Omar Cooper, New York Jets.
20:28Nobody wanted this guy in our keeper and dynasty leagues. He's definitely on the waiver wire, but comes up with the big
20:33What was it? Like six for a hundred and a touch? Something like that.
20:36I mean, I think he's worthy of a like 15-20% bid if you're looking for wide receiver help in this in this bye week.
20:44>> No, I think I think that's real with Omar Cooper. He had a touchdown called back in that game, too. So, he caught
20:48the long one, but in the first quarter he had another touchdown that was called back that he like flipped out He was his
20:53first touchdown ever. So, he flipped out and like went and started going crazy.
20:56And then they called it back. He's like, "Oh, no." But, yeah, he should have two touchdowns in that game. So, I will say though with AD Mitchell
21:03coming back, he should be back cuz he didn't play today. He should be back next week. It sounds like he's coming back pretty soon. So, I do wonder
21:10what that looks like with Mitchell back.
21:12Obviously, Wilson's kind of doing his thing. But, and then obviously, Cedrick kind of plays a part in that, too. They kind of do similar things that Omar
21:19Cooper and Cedrick do. I feel like they get a middle of the field stuff. So, really good to see from Cooper. Feels,
21:24you know, like a you know, I would I'd rather have him like in best ball than like a I think a manage league. I think
21:28trying to figure out where to start him in a in a redraft manage league is a lot tougher than, you know, just simply
21:34having, you know, a good bag of him in like best ball or something.
21:37>> Yeah, you're not going to have the confidence to start him. But, if he puts together if he ends up we're talking
21:41about Omar Cooper of the Jets has a little bit of a floor. If he gets five for 50 next week and no touchdown. And
21:46then say three for 70 no touchdown.
21:48You're going to feel at least confident that in these three receiver leagues with the with the bye gauntlet coming up to at least put him in. You're going to
21:54feel more confident than like I did today starting like Darius Cooper on the on the Philadelphia Eagles where it's just like touchdown or bust. Mostly
22:01bust. Um, you know, I mentioned the Eagles. So, let's let's go with that for a second here. Uh, Tanner McKee we the
22:08Eagles finally got to to put him on display here. Was there anything I mean that you saw here that is even
22:14threatening in first game Jalen Hurts' job in the future?
22:18>> It's not no. It's not threatening. They looked awful. Like they still looked like I think Jalen Hurts probably would have the same exact game that Tanner
22:24McKee had today if he was playing like, you know, Devonta Smith was back. So, the offense looked a little bit better.
22:29>> He scored, right? Didn't he score?
22:30>> Yeah, Devonta Smith scored a touchdown.
22:31Yeah, he had one he had one like later kind of when they were making a little bit of a push. I had the over. So, I was
22:35sweating that out. But, uh, >> [laughter] >> and at the end of the end up pushing, too, cuz the guy missed the extra point.
22:40That's neither here nor there, though.
22:41Uh, no, Devonta Smith was back. So, the offense looked a little bit better. Like he got his. Dallas Goedert actually had
22:46a pretty good game, too. I think just the offense though like you you you it's the Eagles. You want to think that's
22:51still good. But, like you compare this offense right now O-line, running back room. Like freaking, you know, I never thought we would hear from Damien Pierce
22:58ever again. And he turned out to get like 15, 16 points today. So, >> Yeah.
23:02>> I uh, I know I don't think that McKee is threatening Hurts' job if or when he comes back. We have no idea what's going
23:08on with the Jalen Hurts situation right now.
23:10>> Oh dude, and I'm in a dynasty league where I'm 10 and 0 cuz we play two games a week. So, I was 5 and 0 then you know
23:15beat the median and I lost Jalen Hurts in a superflex league. I scrambled and made I overpaid for it cuz you need
23:22quarterbacks are hard to get in these two quarterback leagues. So, I overpaid for uh C.J. Stroud. I gave a first and a
23:28second round pick. Not next year, but in 28. Saved my day today because the Tanner McKee guy wouldn't sell him to me
23:35for a fourth round pick. Uh I'm nervous about Jalen Hurts' future uh for this year. For certainly for this year.
23:40There's a uh for the rest of the year out for the rest of the year is in play right now.
23:45By the way, I lost my survivor pool today on the Colts. I was you know I I hated the pick when I made it. They lost
23:52to the Tennessee Titans. When Tyler Worm was ruled out in the beginning of the day, Tyler, oh my god, my heart dropped.
23:58I was just like this is the wrong pick.
24:01But, you know who was a good pick in your in your fantasy leagues? Looks like Cornell Tate is finally coming around.
24:06Caught what like six balls for What did he have? Uh let me see. I wrote it down here. Had uh Cornell Tate ended up with
24:12seven targets, six catches, 70 yards, and a touchdown. Yeah. From watching Cornell Tate, what do you think the rest of the year looks like? What's the
24:19takeaway?
24:20Uh I think the takeaway is this this is what it's going to be the rest of the year cuz he has that kind of breakout
24:25game. Like he was like 160 yards against the Ravens a couple weeks ago and it's like oh, the Cornell Tate breakout
24:30breakout is here. Like here we go like full steam ahead, but that was in reality it was kind of like a weird
24:35garbage time game, you know, like they're just you know like 10 yards here, 10 yards there like kind of things of that nature. But, then then obviously
24:41today like you see a little bit more from Tate. Obviously, it's first NFL touchdown today, too. So, obviously that's going to help boost his stat
24:47line. I just I don't think you can trust him week in and week out. Like you can definitely start him and like he he's
24:52capable of doing this. It's a 50/50 chance though whether he's going to have a stat line like today or he's going to
24:57put up two for 20. Like there's really I don't think he has this weekly floor that even like cuz you sometimes make
25:03the case it's like, oh, you know, he's on a bad team they're going to be throwing a lot, but it's like you still
25:06want a team that's going to be scoring points at the end of the day. I don't think he's a weekly floor that you feel
25:10safe about going forward, but yeah, then you're probably going to start him, you know, if if you if you own him in some
25:15leagues especially with the buys coming up. So I think you feel good about him from that aspect.
25:19>> Do you not think Tate has a floor because of him, or is it because of Cam Newton at quarterback and you don't love
25:26the play calling? Is it more environmental or is it more player that you're worried about a floor?
25:30>> It's 100% environmental. Terrace Marshall Tate looks every bit the part.
25:33I mean outside of like one punchout fumble in that Ravens game, he's kind of been, you know, doing the right things. Like the touchdown catch
25:40he had today, he had another really good catch on the sideline I think in the second quarter of that game. Like he
25:45looks every bit of what we what we kind of we thought he would coming out of Ohio State this year. I mean fourth
25:50overall pick, so I I just I don't know, it's definitely all environmental. I Cam Newton already know just like threw one of the worst
25:56interceptions again you'll ever see again today. It's like that's just what it is. He's going to throw one of those a game. And like the other thing like
26:02what with Terrace Marshall Tate, this offense is so bad and it'd be I think it'd be better if Tate was like the only
26:07guy they were throwing to, but they throw to Wan'Dale, you know, they throw to Ihmir Smith-Marsette. They have other guys that are at least like competent in
26:13getting the ball to where Tate, you know, is kind of hampered down from that aspect where it's like he's not like the
26:17sole It's not like he's on the Falcons or like Drake London's the only guy they throw the ball to, you know?
26:23>> Before we continue on with our week six fantasy football takeaways, and for those who don't know, Tyler Kinley has joined the Rotowire team. Tell them what
26:31you're going to be doing for us over the rest of the season and into the off season and why we why you've now joined
26:36the team.
26:37>> Yeah, guys, check out the I do film breakdowns every single week. Those go up on Monday, so they'll be out
26:42tomorrow. I I don't know who will break down yet. Usually that's kind of a spur of the moment thing, but Rotowire live
26:47YouTube channel, go check that out every Monday breaking down film of, you know, some of like just performances. Guys I want to dive deeper on like is this
26:54stuff real or is it fake is kind of the the thesis behind those videos. So go check that out.
26:58>> And just to clarify, RotoWire has got a few YouTube channels. I think that's how people do it nowadays. There's this
27:03channel which features Theo Gramlich and then the the channel that wrote it's called RotoWire live features Tyler and a little bit of Jim Coventry on there,
27:11too. So that's a channel that you certainly should subscribe to. All right, week six fantasy football takeaways, Chicago Bears and the
27:21Falcons.
27:22The Falcons gave them a scare a little bit.
27:24Oh, there it is. That's right, your Falcons. I forgot about that. I forgot about that. Falcons came back a little bit,
27:31gave them a little scare at the end, but so let's start with that side. Leading receiver, by the way, for the Falcons
27:37today, as you know, was was Josh Doctson. Remember former first-round pick, three grabs, was it 87 yards and a touch? Is he somebody that we're picking
27:46up? Is that a takeaway?
27:47>> He could get picked up because the their first touchdown of the game went to Jahan Dotson and I'm watching it and I'm
27:53like they they cuz they were down 14-0 early and then they scored a touchdown to Jahan it was a third down back
28:00shoulder fade to Jahan Dotson.
28:02>> Jahan Dotson, I said Josh Doctson, which is the >> Doctson, yeah. Who is your receiver?
28:06>> Right, do you right, do you remember he was a bust in the NFL?
28:08>> Yeah, drafted by the Washington and went to Minnesota.
28:12>> Wait a second. Hold on, let's let's think about it. Wait, he was drafted by Washington?
28:16>> Josh Doctson was drafted by Washington.
28:18>> And then what then and then and then Doctson was drafted by >> Washington.
28:23>> Washington as well.
28:24>> Yes.
28:24>> All right, so I that maybe I conflated the two. Okay. But anyway, I remember like my my comp for Doctson coming was
28:30Tyler Lockett. I thought like he was like this speedy sort of like touchdown.
28:34Kind of hasn't He's been a little busty for fantasy like if you drafted him, but today, man, like I said, I I like the
28:40way he looked on this team and there's really no number two receiver.
28:44>> Yeah, that's the thing that that's why you're so hopeful is that there is no it's he is the only other guy that's
28:49really catching passes and Kyle Pitts got there today in the most scammy touchdown where you like garbage time kind of the same deal they they they
28:55come back into it and he catches those two touchdowns that laid at the end there but like Jahan Dotson really is
29:00like the second receiving option like either it's Haymore Bijan Robinson are the two guys that are catching passes for the Falcons in that number two role.
29:08Yeah, I mean he has a touchdown in two of the five games this year. I think he's definitely worth like he's
29:12definitely worth the pick up someone that I think you know the average fan be like oh like Jahan Dotson like don't
29:16like here but I think it's a little less fluky just based on opportunity alone that he's going to see than I think some
29:22people may think.
29:23>> The reason I say he's a pick up is because he's literally going to you can get him for a buck or zero like you know
29:28and and with the by weeks coming up he's somebody that like I'm interested in putting in some of my deeper leagues. I
29:33know you you know you kind of skipped over Kyle Pitts with his two touchdowns today. Did you get him in your lineups?
29:38>> I I don't know if I have any Kyle Pitts in my manic lineups. I don't think I have that I think I think I think I'm
29:43out. I think I've been I've been out on Kyle for a little for a little bit here.
29:47Took him in some DFS stuff but not not not not of it that hit but uh I am a Pitts man.
29:51>> I have him in the I'm in a guillotine league where there was 18 teams so like everything's thin every week I keep
29:58getting outbid cuz I'm holding on to my dough so I'm forced to play Kyle Pitts and obviously it paid off today.
30:05You know Bijan Robinson kind of a floor game for him still gets his I mean he I mean Gibbs is probably still the number
30:12one pick but Bijan Robinson I mean he you're going to be happy with this stuff. Let's go to the other side of the
30:16ball here.
30:18Caleb Williams returns what was it 305 yards one touchdown no interceptions but I really think before we get into Caleb by the way Caleb looked good you know he
30:29was able to to get Colston Loveland a touchdown pass who had six for 65. Rome Odunze couple few grabs for 39 yards.
30:36Luther Burden the eight for 95 that's that's encouraging here. So starting there with Caleb Williams I mean we got to be happy that this offense finally
30:44has a chance to get on track with the three main pass catchers.
30:47>> The offense looked exactly today how we thought it was going to look during the whole draft season. It was Burden, it
30:52was Rome, and it was Lovett. Like those are the three guys that we were expecting big things from this season.
30:58And then you mentioned it, Caleb goes 30 for 36. He started the game something ridiculous like completed his first 12 passes or something like that. So, he
31:06was absolutely on fire today. Like no you talking about A.J. Brown rust, absolutely zero rust for Caleb Williams and this offense. And I think that's
31:14just what we're we should expect to see going forward. Like we only saw like you I think people forget like the one full
31:20game of Caleb Williams that we saw was like a What did they score against the Panthers that week one? 56 points or 57
31:26points something along that those lines.
31:28And then week then week two is that rain monsoon game against Minnesota who's like probably the worst fantasy match up for a defense that exists in the league.
31:37So, I think you know, this is what we should expect. I think buying the Bears now truly before any of those guys have
31:44like a nuclear game like like the Burden 20-point game is coming, right? The Lovett like I think you saw Lovett finally get back on track today which I
31:51think was the biggest thing. They he had like five catches I think in the first quarter or something like he he got
31:56involved really early and they made it a point to do that. So, I think buying the Bears right now is actually would be
32:01pretty good.
32:02>> It might already be a week too late on the buying the Bears. You had the buy you have to run into the burning
32:05building when those guys were putting up zeros. But you're right like listen, there could be someone that's saying hey this is my sell window, I want to get
32:11out. Um we shall see. But what I do know is that uh is that you want Bears running backs. Roschon Johnson in
32:19redraft was left on the waiver wire as a free first come first serve pick up.
32:23Nobody wanted him. Even though you know, Swift is not a 25 touch player, Roschon Johnson ends up leading the team in
32:31rushing, gets the touchdown, slid down for the second, could have had two.
32:34De'Von Achane Swift still gets his, but is the takeaway here Bears running back?
32:39I want I want any of them that's starting in my lineup.
32:42>> Anybody. I think if Roshan Johnson is doing it, a guy that where it's like he's had opportunity throughout his career it's like with this this need
32:50this guy could be the RB2 or maybe he's even like the you know the one B like when he's coming out of Texas like that
32:56everyone's favorite sleeper. Everyone's favorite sleeper was Roshan Johnson and he just never got there. The fact that he did it today, you know, and just like
33:03oh Roshan Johnson go out there we'll give you some carries and like you're still going to do unbelievable stuff behind this Bears O-line. Anybody that
33:10starts you could put if Velus Jones was back on the Bears you could start him and put him in your lineup.
33:15>> He got some carries this week for Seattle.
33:17>> He did. He actually looked pretty good in Seattle. But if he's on the Bears he probably would have had 150 yards.
33:21>> Right. Right. This was the comment of the day so far. You can still buy Khalif Raymond. Thanks. You know, who the hell
33:27But by the way the comment is legit, right? Because he's the one that's not producing now that already produced and you literally can. Like somebody's
33:34probably going to drop him this week and you know in your 10 or even 12 with five bench.
33:39He's a pick up. I mean he's a he's a legit receiver handcuff. So there there's a nice little takeaway, too.
33:44Chiefs and Chargers has concluded.
33:47That's 22 to six. Chiefs cover. Played that one. Ken Walker. Here's the thing the takeaway that I had. Like gets the
33:55what he had two touchdowns today, right?
33:56Walker.
33:57>> Yeah.
33:57>> He keeps getting stuffed on the goal line. Should have had three. He's just not I'm just worried about his role when
34:02they get in close right there and not the You're unhappy with Ken Walker, but like the the LaDainian Tomlinson season for him like the Derrick Henry 25
34:11touchdown season, that may not be in play because he's been stuffed quite a few times. If it's not a five or a 10 or
34:1715-yard touchdown for Ken Walker, I'm a little worried about his goal line or is that being like rich man problems?
34:24>> I think they're just selling I think everyone is selling out because it's like we've seen Kenneth Walker be the like they're like all right, we're not
34:29going to let Kenneth Walker just run in here cuz that's exactly what they want to do On the goal line and you even saw
34:34this stuff with like Kareem Hunt, Pacheco, you know, like Pacheco used to be a guy that was like, oh, this is like
34:37somebody we want to be starting fantasy every single time. The Chiefs just want to run the ball on the goal line. Like
34:42they have some, you know, tricky stuff they can do with, you know, like even you even saw it today, like they put
34:47Kenneth Walker out wide and threw him like a little rocket screen on the goal line. So, they're always going to be
34:50creative on the goal line with, you know, their best players, so to speak.
34:54So, I I think I don't like If you're redrafting today, this may I think it's I think Kenneth Walker's in the tier
35:03with Bijan and Gibbs.
35:04>> You know what? I would take him over him.
35:07I would take him over both of them. No, over I would Gibbs one like if we're redrafting today and you're on the clock
35:12and you took Gibbs, I I think if I'm pick two, I'm going to take Kenneth Walker and I you know what? I had Bijan
35:17101. It's just the offense, right? Like yeah, you just Matt and imagine if you lose what's it if you if you lose Panics
35:25and it's Tua, like they're in trouble, you know? I mean, listen, there's no bad picks there in the first three picks,
35:30right? But how about Xavier Worthy gets a seven for 73? I mean, this is a player that nobody wanted. You did a ton of best ball,
35:3910th, 11th round, right? I mean, is he a pick up this week in our managed leagues?
35:45>> Is Rashee Rice playing football next week? Cuz he is the most like we have he is the we have literally have nobody
35:51else to throw the ball to. Like I I I'm so out on if if you have Xavier that's one of the biggest sell highs. If you
35:56could sell Xavier Worthy on a seven for a 70 type of game, do it now cuz he is not going to matter in in two weeks when
36:04I think they get some of these other guys back.
36:06>> Okay, so again, the the but when those guys are out, you like him as like the quote wide receiver handcuff.
36:12>> play, yeah. He he's a good flex, yeah.
36:13He's a good wide receiver handcuff. I think cuz that like this was if he did not do it today, it was never going to
36:19happen for him. And he obviously did it today, so you have to give him some some, you know, some props in that
36:23respect, but no, going forward like he's not like he's never going to be live up to the first round talent that he they
36:29was drafted to be. I don't think so.
36:30>> Xavier worthless, right? That should be >> Xavier worthless.
36:33>> Yeah, pretty much. All right, Chargers real quick. You're not starting Justin Herbert anymore and I think like in your dynasty keeper stuff, you're just going
36:40to have to accept that like the keep trade cut, the Rotowire rankings, all the industry are going to have them like
36:45QB 18, 19. Probably a buy at some point, but anything from the Chargers today? We got the one big pass from Quinton
36:52Johnston. I started him in a pinch. Uh you know, in leagues where I I was I have leagues where in like superflex
36:58leagues where I was able to get Justin Jefferson and Jamar Chase both on by. I put QJ in and I get the one catch.
37:03Anything from the Chargers side that was actionable?
37:07>> It's just more of the same of what we've seen all year. The scheme doesn't look like it fits. Justin Herbert's throwing,
37:11you know, making awful decisions and there's just no flow. There's this offense has zero flow, zero identity, just nothing like just these they try
37:19these scammy, you know, motion like gimmick screen plays that just don't work. And again, the grand Kansas City has a good defense. But like we've seen
37:26this the entire year. It was like the just a new chapter of the 2026 season for the for the Los Angeles Chargers of it just
37:33being really bad.
37:34>> So, by the way, did while we were you know, talking here, Tyler, you needed just two fantasy points from Ashton
37:39Jeanty to cash big in the underdog stuff?
37:43>> Yeah.
37:43>> Did you get it?
37:45>> I haven't looked. Let me Let me see where I'm at. I think I actually went down quite a bit. Obviously cuz James
37:50Cook scored a touchdown. Well, I mean >> Just to fill in the audience, Tyler, like when we were talking before on air,
37:55needed two fantasy points to get into five-digit prize, like a 10K prize. But as is so in these contests, one point
38:03the other way and you're like min cash, you know?
38:05>> I'm in 21st place right now. So, I'm still winning a thousand dollars, which isn't That's That's great.
38:11>> Dude, that will fill the fridge. That'll fill the fridge.
38:13>> Oh, that'll fill That'll fill the the fridge, the pantry. Might even fill the the the closet a little bit more, too.
38:18>> [laughter] >> Very good. Very good. Uh did they give you some Rotowire clothes, by the way?
38:22You need to get some gear.
38:23>> I know, I need some gear. I don't have any gear.
38:25>> All right.
38:25>> I like I need a nice little polo. If you can hook me up with a nice little polo, I'd love
38:28>> Oh, yeah. Our guy, Jake, I'll connect you with him. He He's good like that.
38:31You You're on a You're on camera. You should have Rotowire gear. You know what I'm saying?
38:35>> Yeah.
38:35>> All right. Biggest takeaway Oh, by the way, Buffalo Bills, that game is concluded, right? It's over? The >> ended. The The The Raiders were making I
38:43think Trey Tucker scored two touchdowns while we've been live. So, I think we should talk about that cuz he scored two
38:47touchdowns since we've been live. Is Trey Tucker like uh Yeah, it's the Bills 33-30. Trey Tucker finishes with five catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns.
38:56>> Yeah, but we've seen Trey Tucker have the explosive This is This is what people are going to think. Oh, I saw
39:00that week one last year. I bid on it and nothing happened. So, they're going to think that again this year. He'll get
39:05bids. He'll get picked up. Anyone that gets that kind of market share, that kind of touchdown, but he's not going for, you know, he's going for 10% or
39:12less.
39:13>> What about Michael Mayer? Seven for 95.
39:16Like did He's actually been way more involved with the like he's always been two, but Kubiak has come in and kind of
39:23like gave like breathed new life into him where it's like where this is like legitimately going to be one of the, you
39:30know, premier pass-catchers in our offense. What do you think about Michael Mayer?
39:33>> Oh, I mean, this is just another one of those offenses where they're going to run two tight ends. And it sets up great
39:37because all of the the the wide receivers are kind of like, you know, they're wide receiver threes on normal teams. So, it sets up perfectly to have
39:45the Aaron Hernandez-Gronk type of thing.
39:48>> You want to say yeah.
39:49>> I went there. I went there.
39:51Yeah. By the way, you got a fan here.
39:52Someone said Tyler's awesome. We know.
39:53We Rotowire Rotowire hired him. We know he's awesome. We got him. We got him.
39:59All right. Tyler, uh let's wrap this thing up here. In your mind, give me what you thought Anything we talked about or anything that we didn't talk
40:06about. What do you think were the two biggest takeaways that maybe changed something that you were thinking One big takeaway. And then if we have a second,
40:13we'll go there. That changed in week six or something that con- confirmed. what's the biggest takeaway from week six?
40:20>> Do not fall for Xavier Worthy. I'm telling you, you do not want to fall for this trap. It is not is not going to
40:25work. Do not start him. If If If everyone else is, you know, gone, fine, you play him. But like, I would take If
40:32you If you If you're like, "Oh, you know, I saw, you know, first round pick, Mahomes, like this whole deal." No,
40:37don't go trade for him. And if you have him, get him off your team. See, like what today it was just like, "Oh, we
40:42have no one else to throw to, we're going to throw to Xavier Worthy." That's the big takeaway I think from this week
40:46for me.
40:46>> Yep. And then the other one I want to ask you about, if you're rostering all these Giants running backs, the three of
40:51them that are worth it. There's obviously, you know, there's Cam Skatabu who's on a roster. Najee Harris is probably picked up. Tyrone Tracy has a
40:58chance to be on the waiver wire, maybe, maybe not. But if you're predicting which one of these guys is going to be
41:0210-point startable each week, which one is it going to be?
41:05>> I think it's Tracy. He just has the He has way more juice than Najee and Skatabu, which I think gives him a
41:10better role, even Singletary, too, where he I think he has a better role for that in the receiving game. And just I think
41:17like he just provides more, you know, like I said, more an explosive factor to that offense than any of those other
41:23running backs. So, I think Tracy and you saw that I I think today, so.
41:26>> All right. Oh, you know what? Something that we talked about pre-show that we didn't get to, Colts pass catchers. Uh
41:32Keenan Allen, big day. I think he jumped up the uh the all-time rankings with either yards or receptions or I saw some
41:38graphic that I was writing that some stuff. And Josh Downs, man, I mean, it's just like, "Okay, but you know, like I have him like starting in a
41:46couple leagues, but I it just doesn't seem like it's going to happen there."
41:49Anything from those guys with Tyler Moore now, just That was the last note that I had here about Colts pass catchers. What was the takeaway?
41:56>> I I big takeaway is Josh Downs is just Wan'Dale Robinson on the Giants, I think. Like that's just what he's just a
42:01PPR scam. He's not going to score touchdowns. Like I I I really worry about his role. Like Laquon Treadwell was getting serious to run. Who like
42:07this is the first time in 10 years he's made the opening day roster coming out of training camp. and it's like, oh
42:13yeah, we'll talk about him on a third down. But I think Keenan Allen's definitely he seems to be you know, establishing that rapport with Daniel
42:19Jones where like Josh Downs and Daniel Jones should already have this rapport, you know, they've played significantly more snaps together. And the fact that
42:25Keenan Allen who also missed the game already this season too has kind of come in and just like I think we saw a little
42:30bit last week too where like Keenan Allen is giving you real usable starting weeks. And Josh Downs I think just hasn't put like just like Keenan is
42:37doing what we thought Josh Downs was going to do this season in in in a way.
42:41So uh and also too like when you get in the red zone and the Colts right now, they're not even getting in the red zone
42:46a ton and when they do, it's Josh Allen's season and when they're throwing, it's going to Keenan or Tyler Warren. So
42:51>> Right. The the coach had to come Steichen had to come out today and say it's no Daniel Jones is still our
42:55starter. Like wait, wait, wait. That was in question?
42:57>> That's never good. That's never good.
42:58>> So who was >> Oh, Riley Leonard's not starting? Oh, okay, got it.
43:01>> [laughter] >> Or Anthony Richardson, he's on the roster, right?
43:03>> He's not I think I think Leonard's the two.
43:05>> Right. Okay. Yeah, I mean yes, but you know, there'll be talk if that happens.
43:10>> Oh, hopefully.
43:10>> Um good hot take that you had that you text me, you said Jaylen Coker greater than Te McMillan. Are we I mean he
43:16outproduced them today?
43:17>> He outproduced him not not today. He outproduced him again today. Like this is what he's been doing this season.
43:23Like what when Jaylen Coker is healthy, like he's the go-to. Like it kind of just feels like he's the go-to guy. Like
43:29he's playing like a first round pick.
43:30He's plays like he's outproducing their like Te Troyer. He obviously has the blow up game. Hello though, it's a game that Jaylen Coker did not play in.
43:38Coker, you know, sits out the the um two weeks ago, then goes to the bye, coming back into this game, you know, practiced
43:43every every day fully healthy and then we see he puts up, you know, damn near 100 yards today. So I think yeah, Jaylen
43:48Coker is like I think if you're doing weekly rankings, I and this is how I've had it too, is I'm having I'm putting
43:54Jaylen Coker ahead of Te Troyer. It's close. They you know, they do um similar stuff, but I think it's just a slight
43:59edge to Coker every time.
44:00>> Tyler, baby, you did it. I know Thea was worried about us his show in good hands, but it was in good hands. And the
44:05problem with it is now he's probably going to take more days off and and then, you know, give us the damn show.
44:10He's He's got to get back to work. His fans need him. But, Tyler Kennebly, you did it. Where's everyone going to follow
44:15you? It's at PPR Tyler, right?
44:17>> Yep, at PPR Tyler on Twitter and on YouTube. And again, go please go check out the RotoWire Live YouTube channel.
44:23That's where you can find most of my work kind of throughout the week. So, make sure you go check that out.
44:26RotoWire Live on YouTube.
44:28>> Cool. At Alan_Seslowski.
44:30I have the dreaded underscore nowadays.
44:32And uh Theo, we're back with everybody with his fans uh tomorrow doing the waiver wire video, which will cover a lot of the takeaways, too. And all
44:40right, everybody, I hope you won in week six and enjoy the night games.
