Cam Akers got a boot has been the best running back on the Giants this year, but you know, he did fumble four times in the first five weeks and it was enough to piss off Har Ball to give Akers a boot. Last time I checked, zero touches in week six... Harbaugh isn't exactly thinking too highly of Akers these days. You can say he didn't bench him, but he gave him zero touches dude... Cannot start this dude even if there's a fire.

RB39 benched after 4 fumbles in 5 weeks; zero touches week 6; no trust
Cam Akers has been the best running back on the Giants this year but fumbled four times in the first five weeks, which prompted the coaching staff to bench him; he received zero touches in week 6, indicating a significant loss of role and trust. Akers is ranked RB39 by Ian Hartitz; Hartitz would like to think he can win out down the stretch given how ineffective other Ravens running backs have been, but coach John Harbaugh clearly doesn't think highly of Akers; gave him zero touches in the most recent game; cannot start him even in emergency situations.
