Yahoo Fantasy Forecast on Kalif Raymond

Raymond's 7 targets establish him as Bears' Amon-Ra role; veteran slot presence.

Kalief Raymond was the leading receiver with 7 targets and had explosive plays. Matt Harmon notes Raymond has a real deal role in the Bears offense—'if anybody has the Amon Ross St. Brown role of this offense, it's actually the guy who wears number 14.' Raymond plays the slot for most snaps in 11 personnel and plays about half the snaps outside 11 personnel alongside Luther Burden. Harmon acknowledges Raymond is 32 years old and there's a chance he fades as the season progresses, but currently sees no reason for Ben Johnson to dial back his role. Raymond played the second-most snaps of all pass catchers.
