From the episode

I love Devante Smith. I was going to, going to bat for him last night on social media being like, oh yeah, I remember when people thought this guy couldn't win as an outside receiver against man coverage because he was too small. Well, it turns out he was, he's been great against it ever since he's hit the NFL field.

STACKED’s take

Positive signalRole

Smith excels against man coverage but limited by Eagles' poor offensive design.

DeVonta Smith has proven effective against man coverage despite his smaller frame (170 pounds). Matt Harmon defends Smith's ability, noting "I remember when people thought this guy couldn't win as an outside receiver against man coverage because he was too small. Well, it turns out he was, he's been great against it ever since he's hit the NFL field." However, Smith's effectiveness is limited by the Eagles' poor offensive design and lack of screen game utilization due to his size disadvantage in blocking situations.
