Mattek Fantasy Football on Noah Fant

VideoA New Starting TE Candidate Emerges (Week 7 TE + QB Ranks)October 23, 2026

From the video

they're playing more of the backup tight ends, and also using C.J. Donaldson quite a bit in replacement of a pass-catching tight end. So, you're getting a lot of like Noah Fant or Oscar Delp out there with C.J. Donaldson.

NeutralRole

Fant is a backup TE option with limited role in Saints' fullback-heavy scheme.

Fant is being deployed as a backup tight end for the Saints alongside Oscar Delp, with C.J. Donaldson taking the pass-catching role. This indicates limited offensive role and target opportunity.
