From the episode
I think Jonathan Taylor would make a huge impact on that roster and would open up the deep passing game a lot more for Drake May. He was one of the best deep throwers in the league...that he could have an impact like Ken Walker has with the chiefs, which opened up the deep passing when Patrick Mahomes had deep receivers that could throw to.
STACKED’s take
Taylor to Patriots would unlock Drake May's deep passing game, but Patriots likely decline due to recent RB investment.
The source proposes trading Jonathan Taylor to the New England Patriots for a 2027 second-round pick plus a sixth-round pick, arguing Taylor would make a huge impact on the Patriots roster and open up the deep passing game for Drake May, who is one of the best deep throwers in the league. The source notes Taylor could have an impact similar to Ken Walker with the Chiefs, legitimizing the deep passing attack. However, reporting from Jonathan Jones indicates the Colts believe Taylor would net the biggest return, with NFL folks believing compensation would be a second-round pick or better, though the source acknowledges the Patriots likely say no to this deal due to recent investment in Travion Henderson.
