Mahomes did not play well yesterday... he was truly tossing the ball at everyone's toes... I assumed that has to do with his ACL recovery that maybe his knee was bothering him, so he was not able to plant and set his feet.
STACKED’s take
Mahomes underperforming; ACL recovery limiting mechanics, accuracy
Patrick Mahomes played poorly in the recent game, 'tossing the ball at everyone's toes' with inaccurate delivery; Davis Mattek suspects his ACL recovery may be affecting his ability to plant and set his feet properly, limiting his normal mechanics and performance. Mahomes also showed frustration during the last two drives, including a play where he threw a 70-75 mph ball to Travis Kelce that resulted in a drop, and was seen yelling at Xavier Worthy for poor play. Mattek sarcastically criticized the quarterback's performance despite his three-time MVP and three-time Super Bowl winner status, and noted a negative advance rate of 15.7%, indicating disappointing performance relative to expectations.
