From the video
as long as Mchu is in, I wouldn't worry about Trey McBride. Mchu directed 33.7% of his targets to tight ends playing with a rookie Brock Bowers, there's going to be plenty to go around for Trey McBride.

McBride safe with Minshew; plenty of TE targets available
With Gardner Minshew at quarterback, Trey McBride should not be a concern despite the backup QB situation. The source notes that Minshew directed 33.7% of his targets to tight ends (playing with rookie Brock Bowers), meaning there will be plenty of targets to go around for McBride. The source is not worried about McBride's production in the short term with Minshew.
